I FORGOT TO INTRODUCE TUMBLR TO MY NEW SON IM SO SORRY
this is nugget (short for chicken nugget) and he is my entire personality now
got him at an expo last weekend from geckogen, who was hands down the nicest, most helpful, and most gracious breeder i've ever had the pleasure of buying from, highly recommend
this is the first lizard i've had in like 10+ years and man i suddenly have a lot more sympathy for the newbies freaking out about the most basic shit about balls and corns LOL
roommates also got a baby so here's my niece Agatha (her white people name because she looks like a grandma doily, otherwise known as Asmaa'). she's a vanilla scream that we got, frankly, a stupidly good deal on. a little underweight for my liking and has a bump on her nose from rubbing, but we can fix that. we also saved her from getting bought by an Influencer TM type lady who only wanted her because she matched her furniture :V

I hope my red pocket dragon is happily climbing all the trees and chasing all the dubia roaches a gecko can chase up in gecko heaven. It was such a joy to know, raise and love you Aztec. 💥

I’ll be blogging this WAY more formally, but I figured I’d post it here as a visual too. *claps my hands together to get things started* Stuff: You’re gonna need a bag of clay balls, one mesh, one substrate brick and any decor/foliage you want that’s gecko/animal safe. To Get Started: 1) Pour in the clay balls as seen in the first photo. 2) Lay out your mesh this helps prevent too much substrate from draining into your clay balls. 3) I’ve found that 1 eco earth coco fiber brick is enough for a 12x12x18 Exo Terra tank, which I pack down like in the third photo. 4) I positioned my decor mostly.. 5) I used the leaf wood as a ledge, funny enough it used to be in his original “tank” from GeckoGen. It’s pretty easy to get a tank going that properly regulates humidity and gives off a natural look too!! Look out for the formal post link on @crestiecrew This is one of my 2 tanks/animals I’ve dedicated to Loki and fixing the tanks and interacting with them helps me connect with him a little.
