Lord Murugan (Kartikeya) Mantra – Om Saravana Bhava Meaning and Benefits

Lord Murugan, also known as Kartikeya (son of the Krittikas) or Skanda (attacker), is the son of Lord Shiva and the chief commander of the great divine army in the subtle plane, a fine, dynamic soldier of the within, a fearless defender of righteousness.

He has several names like Gugan, Subramanyan, Shanmugan, Arumugan, Kumaran, Mayilvaganan, Kaangeyan, Velayuthan, Shanmuga Swaminathan, Cheyon, Senthil, Saravanabavan, Vishagan, Devasenapathy, Vel Murugan, Vallimanallan, Soorasankaran and Kumaraswamy.

He is also known as Sanatkumara, the supreme Guru of mankind, who opens our doors to spirituality and guides us into the realization of Shiva. Moreover, He had appeared for a special purpose to eradicate the adharma (that which is not in accord with the Dharma) and save this Earth from demons. This special occasion helps to empower you with energy, wisdom, and to break the knots of negativity tied around you. He guides us from within and always has, whether we realize it or not.

Lord Kartikeya rules over what is known in Shaivism as Shuddhashuddha tattvas (seven of the 36 tattvas from maya to purusha), principles that are beyond the physical plane, yet bind our intellects and restrict us from completely experiencing Shiva-consciousness.

Legend

He was born of the 6 rays of light that emerged from the 3rd eye of Lord Shiva. The 6 rays fell on the forest of reed grass and were carried to the Ganges by Agni (God of Fire) and Vayu (the lord of the winds) which turned to 6 beautiful babies on 6 lotus flowers. The 6 babies were united into one with 6 faces and 12 hands when Goddess Parvati (the wife of Lord Shiva) held them in her arms.

In a different legend, Lord Shiva forgot the knowledge of the supreme primordial sacred sound ”Om”. He requested his son Muruga to teach him the spiritual secrets of Om. The child shortly asked over Lord Shiva to accept him as his Guru. He readily accepted. He placed the child Muruga on his lap and joyously received the wisdom of the sacred sound Om in his ears.

Another story reveals that He is the creator of Tamil Language, that’s why with the particular name “Murugan,” He is famous in South India, but as a name of Lord Kartikeya, He is revered all over India, though some individuals don’t know they are both one.

There are numerous temples dedicated to Lord Skanda all over India, but the most important are: Swamimalai Murugan Temple (near Kumbakonam), Palani Murugan Temple (100 km southeast of Coimbatore), and Thiruthani Murugan Temple (84 km from Chennai). Lord Skanda is worshiped on the 6th day after Diwali on an occasion called ”Skanda Sashti”, making the victory over the demons Surapadman and Tarakasura.

Iconography

He has 6 hands and 6 faces. His 6 heads signify the 6 siddhis (supernatural powers) bestowed upon yogis over the course of their spiritual development. Lord Skanda is commonly depicted with many weapons including a javelin, a sword, a mace, a discus and a bow, although more frequently he is illustrated wielding a spear or sakti. This represents His purification of human ills. His vehicle is a peacock. His peacock mount represents His destruction of the ego.

Mantra Om Saravana Bhava meaning:

This mantra contains the essence of the six-faced Lord Skanda. You can access the energy of Lord Skanda by chanting this potent mantra. The Sage Agastya (a revered Vedic sage), who mastered this mantra, revealed the secrets of the mantra:

Om – is considered the most sacred mantra, represents the infinite, that all aspects of life are intertwined.

Sa – attracts all people to your side;

Ra – brings wealth and prosperity in your life;

Va – dissolves competition, diseases, debts and your physical discomforts;

Na – surmounts your problems through enemies;

Bha – attraction through charming;

VA – stops negativity and influence from bad planets and evil forces.

In Vedic thought the Sun or Surya is the Atman, the Self of all, which is also the Purusha, the pure consciousness that is the goal of Yoga. The connection of Yoga with the Sun at an esoteric level is well established in the Yoga tradition. Besides the outer Sun in the sky, there is the inner Sun of Self-awareness that dwells in the hearts of all beings, our immortal essence of light.

The significance of Summer Solstice is honoring ‘International Yoga Day’, designated so by the United Nations in 2015 and is ever since observed on the day of Summer Solstice. A day to draw our inner perspective to synchronizing, body, mind, emotions and atman. When we are in a state of equilibrium we connect to the cosmic time cycles of wellbeing.

निर्जला एकादशी

June 21st is the auspicious Nirjala Ekadashi, the most sacred and significant Ekadashis out of all twenty four Ekadashis in a year. Also known as Bhimseni Ekadashi, Pandava Ekadashi or Bhima Ekadashi.

As per the Hindu calendar, Nirjala Ekadashi is celebrated in the month of Jyeshtha during the Shukla Paksha on the 11th day (Ekadashi tithi). According to the Gregorian calendar, the day falls in the month of June.

Nirjala means without water and Nirjala Ekadashi fasting is observed without water and any type of food. Nirjala Ekadashi Vratam is the toughest among all Ekadashi fasting due to strict fasting rules. Devotees abstain not only from food but also from water while observing Nirjala Ekadashi Vrat.

In East Asian countries, the day is celebrated to mark Dragon Boat Festival, whereas it is observed as National Aboriginal Day in Canada to acknowledge the contributions of the country’s native populations.

It is the ‘International Music Day’, where we work with our inner Svara Shakti. Music is powerful as it draws us to meditate within the Hridaya or spiritual heart. A beautiful moment to dive deep into a mantra practices ad draw in the divine grace of Sarasvati.

The summer solstice is always an important astrological and astronomical event.

It marks the highest point of the Sun in the northern sky, the apex of the auspicious northern course of the Sun in Vedic thought.

Ancient spiritual traditions throughout the world have long marked the solstice as an important sacred day of celebrations, perhaps even the most sacred day of the year. From Native Americans, to pagans like Celts, Greeks and Romans, to the Hindus, the solstice is honored with rituals and meditation. The Sun is the visible face of the deity and Divine light.

In the Rig-Veda the ancient Hindu scriptures ‘Ayur’ is explained as Agni or fire which encompasses our soul stirrings or essence of life. The soul or reincarnating being is veiled in the body, mind and consciousness in the form of fire and Light. On the summer solstice, that energy of light is most evident.

While Stonehenge rituals are most famous on this date, it should be remembered that India has the most numerous, oldest and yet most alive Sun temples in the world, some with histories going back thousands of the years. India remains the land in which the Sun has been most prominently worshipped since the most ancient period.

Worshipping the Sun

At the dawn of this solstice may we welcome the transition through deeper sadhana with prayer, tapasya, puja and solitude, offering water and honey to the rising Sun with Surya mantras and invocations.

Working with the Pranic mantra of Shiva is very auspicious and harmonizing.

Revering Maa Durga as Devi holds the solar and lunar powers and helps ground the sadhaka in the muladhara chakra .

One can connect the Soma or bliss energy of the Sun with mantras on the Summer Solstice and an offering of water with honey. The powerful Paramjyoti mantra invokes the Supreme Light!

Aum Hrim Hamsah Soham Svaha

Yet the solstice has its own value as a sacred day and should be treated as such, regardless of the planets. This should begin with greeting the rising Sun, the Sun at noon and the Sun at sunset, with mantras like the Gayatri mantra of the Vedas, or bija mantras to the Sun like Om Shreem Suryaya Namah!

These mantras can be done along with offering water and honey to the Sun, particularly water stored over night in a special copper vessel, or while standing in bodies of water. One should honor not only the outer Sun but also the inner Sun, which can turn this day into a day of solar enlightenment.

Mantras to Saturn and Ketu can also be performed, particularly at night, as well as those for Jupiter, particularly when we are gazing at these planets in the night sky.

Gayatri Mantra - A Universal Prayer

Om Bhur Bhuvaḥ Swaḥ

Tat-savitur Vareñyaṃ

Bhargo Devasya Dheemahi

Dhiyo Yonaḥ Prachodayāt

General meaning: We meditate on that most adored Supreme Lord, the creator, whose effulgence (divine light) illumines all realms (physical, mental and spiritual). May this divine light illumine our intellect.

Word meaning: Om: The primeval sound; Bhur: the physical body/physical realm; Bhuvah: the life force/the mental realm Suvah: the soul/spiritual realm; Tat: That (God); Savitur: the Sun, Creator (source of all life); Vareñyam: adore; Bhargo: effulgence (divine light); Devasya: supreme Lord; Dhīmahi: meditate; Dhiyo: the intellect; Yo: May this light; Nah: our; Prachodayāt: illumine/inspire.

What is the Gayatri Mantra?

The Gayatri is a universal prayer enshrined in the Vedas. It is addressed to the Immanent and Transcendent Divine which has been given the name 'Savita,' meaning 'that from which all this is born.' The Gayatri may be considered as having three parts - (i) Adoration (ii) Meditation (iii) Prayer. First, the Divine is praised, then It is meditated upon in reverence and finally, an appeal is made to the Divine to awaken and strengthen the intellect, the discriminating faculty of man.

The Gayatri is considered as the essence of the Vedas. Veda means knowledge, and this prayer fosters and sharpens the knowledge-yielding faculty. As a matter of fact, the four core-declarations enshrined in the four Vedas are implied in this Gayatri mantra.

The Gayatri Mantra is a sacred chant that demonstrates the unity that underlies manifoldness in creation. It is through the recognition of this unity that we can understand the multiplicity. Clay is one and the same thing, though pots of different shapes and sizes can be made from it. Gold is one, though gold ornaments can be multifarious. The Atma is one, though the embodied forms in which it resides may be many. Whatever the colour of the cow, the milk is always white.

Who is Mother Gayatri?

Gayatri is the Mother of all scriptures (Vedas). She is present, wherever Her name is chanted. She is very powerful. The One who nourishes the individual being is Gayatri. She bestows pure thoughts on anyone who worships Her. She is the embodiment of all Goddesses. Our very breath is Gayatri, our faith in existence is Gayatri. Gayatri has five faces, they are the five life principles. She has nine descriptions, they are ‘Om, Bhur, Bhuvah, Swah, Tat, Savitur, Vareñyaṃ, Bhargo, Devasya’. Mother Gayatri nourishes and protects every being and she channelizes our senses in the proper direction. ‘Dhīmahi’ means meditation. We pray to her to inspire us with good intelligence. ‘Dhīyo Yonah Prachodayāt’ - We beseech her to bestow on us everything we need. Thus Gayatri is a complete prayer for protection, nourishment and finally, liberation.

Gayatri is the mother of the Vedas (Gayatri Chandhasam matha) Gayatri, however, has three names: Gayatri, Savitri, and Saraswathi. These three are present in everyone. Gayatri represents the senses; it is the master of the senses. Savitri is the master of Prana (Life Force). Many Indians are familiar with the story of Savitri, who brought back to life her dead husband, Sathyavan. Savitri signifies truth. Saraswathi is the presiding deity of speech (vaak). The three represent purity in thought, word, and deed (thrikarana shuddhi). Although Gayatri has three names, all three are in each of us as the senses (Gayatri), the power of speech (Saraswathi), and the life force (Savitri).

Universality of Gayatri Mantra

For every kind of power, proof may be sought by direct perception or by the process of inference. Men sought to find out by what direct proof they could experience this transcendental power. They found the proof in the Sun. Without the Sun there will be no light at all. Nor is that all. All activities will come to a standstill. In this world, hydrogen is essential for the growth of plants and living beings. The Sun's primary components are hydrogen and helium. Without hydrogen and helium, the world cannot survive. Hence, the ancients concluded that the Sun was the visible proof (of a transcendental power). They also found some subtle secrets about the Sun. Hence, they adored the Sun as the principal deity in the Gayatri mantra. “Dhiyo yonah Prachodayāt” - May the Sun illumine our intellects in the same way he sheds his effulgence. This is the prayer addressed to the Sun in the Gayatri mantra. In this way, they came to regard the Gayatri mantra as the mother of the Vedas.

The earliest finding of the seekers was that the Sun was the most important factor in determining the daily life of man and providing the basic requirements for living. Life would be impossible without the Sun for man, beast, bird, or plant. The Sun was regarded as the source of all energy and responsible for birth, growth, and destruction of all things in creation. It was for this reason that Sage Viswamitra glorified the Sun God (Savitr) in the Gayatri mantra.

Repeat the Gayatri - it is a universal prayer. It has three parts, meditation on the glory of God as the illumination immanent in the three worlds - upper, middle and lower (Om Bhur Bhuva Swah; Tat Savitur Vareñyam); it has smaraña or picturisation of the Grace (Bhargo Devasya Dhīmahi) and prārthanā, prayer for compassion for the sake of liberation, through awakening of intelligence that pervades the entire universe, not to any particular name or form of that intelligence; and so, all can use it and be saved by it. There can be no fanaticism, no hatred, no rivalry, if the Gayatri is adhered to, its pious repetition will clarify the passions and promote love.

Deeper meaning of the Gayatri Mantra

Gayatri, Savitri and Saraswati are latent in everybody. Bhur, Bhuvah and Swah in the Gayatri mantra refer to the body (materialization), the life-force (vibration), and the soul (radiation). Bhur means the earth, which is nothing but the combination of materials. This denotes the human body, which is also a combination of materials. Bhuvah refers to the life-force, which makes the body vibrate. Swah refers to Prajnāna-shakti, which sustains the life-force. This Prajnāna-shakti is known as constant integrated awareness. This is also termed as radiation. All three, namely, materialization, vibration, and radiation are present in man. I tell you often, you are not one, but three—the one you think you are (physical body), the one others think you are (mental body) and the one you really are (Atma).

Gayatri is described as having five faces. The first is "Om". The second is "Bhur-bhuvah-svah". The third is. "Tat-savitur Vareñyaṃ". The fourth is "Bhargo Devasya Dhīmahi". The fifth is "Dhiyo Yonah Prachodayāt". Gayatri represents in these five faces the five prāñas (life forces). Gayatri is the protector of the five prāñas in man. “Gāyantaṃ trāyate iti Gayatri” -- Because it protects the one who recites it, it is called Gayatri. When Gayatri acts as protector of the life-forces, she is known as Savitri. Savitri is known in the sciptural story as the devoted wife who brought back to life her husband, Sathyavan. Savitri is the presiding deity of the five prāñas. She protects those who lead a life of Truth. This is the inner meaning.

When one's intelligence and intuition are developed by the recitation of the mantra, the activating deity is Gayatri. When the life-forces are protected, the guardian deity is called Savitri. When one's speech is protected, the deity is called Saraswati. Because of the protective roles of Savithri, Saraswati and Gayatri, in relation to life, speech, and the intellect, Gayatri is described as "Sarva-devatā-swarūpiñi"--- the embodiment of all goddesses.

The Gayatri has three parts: 1.Praise, 2.Meditation, and 3.Prayer. First, the Divine is praised, then it is meditated upon in reverence and lastly, an appeal is made to the Divine to dispel the darkness of ignorance and to awaken and strengthen the intellect. Dhīmahi is related to the meditative aspect. Dhīyo Yonah Prachodayāt relates to the aspect of prayer. Chanting of the Gayatri Mantra purifies the mind and confers devotion, detachment and wisdom.

Benefits of chanting Gayatri Mantra

Through meditation on the Gayatri, one can become aware of the inner motivating principle of the five elements, the five vital airs in the human body, and the five sheaths which encase the Atma. Just as there are three basic energies that govern man---the physical, the metaphysical and the psychical, the ādhi-bhoutik, the ādhi-daivik and the ādhi-atmic, Gayatri has three facets, Gayatri, Savitri and Saraswati. Gayatri fosters the metaphysical, Savitri, the physical, and Saraswati, the psychical. These three karañas or instruments have to be cleansed and sublimated so that man can realise the goal of life. Through the recital of Gayatri mantra and meditation thereon, this great task can be achieved.

It will protect you from harm wherever you are --traveling, working, or at home. Westerners have investigated the vibrations produced by this mantra and have found that when it is recited with the correct accent as laid down in the Vedas, the atmosphere around becomes visibly illumined. So Brahma-prakāsha, the Divine Effulgence, will descend on you and illumine your intellect and light your path when this mantra is chanted. Also repeat shanti thrice at the end, for that repetition will give shanti or peace to three entities in you --body, mind, and soul.

It is essential to recite the Gayatri mantra at least three times during the morning, noon, and evening. This will serve to reduce the effects of the wrong acts one does every day. It is like buying goods for cash, instead of getting them on credit. There is no accumulation of karmic (a result of action) debt since each day's karma (action) is atoned for that day itself by reciting the Gayatri mantra.

"Sarva roga nivaarini Gayatri" (Gayatri is the reliever of all diseases). "Sarva dhukha parivaarini Gayatri" (Gayatri wards off all misery). "Sarva vaancha phalashri Gayatri" (Gayatri is the fulfiller of all desires). Gayatri is the bestower of all that is beneficial. If the mantra is chanted, various kinds of powers will emerge in one.

When to say the Gayatri

Do not sing cheap and defiling film songs. Instead, recite the Gayatri. When you bathe, the body is being cleansed; let your mind and intellect also be cleansed. Make it a point to repeat it when you bathe as well as before every meal, when you wake from sleep, and when you go to bed. And also repeat shanthi (peace) thrice at the end, for that repetition will give peace to three entities in you --body, mind, and soul.

Time, like man, has three qualities: satva, rajas, and tamas (qualities of purity or serenity, passion, and inaction). The day is divided into three parts:

4am to 8am and 4pm to 8pm have the sātvic quality

8am to 4pm are rājasic

8pm and 4am are tāmasic

The eight hours from 8pm to 4am are used mainly for sleep. The eight hours of the day (from 8am to 4pm) are employed by all beings, including animals and birds, in the discharge of their day to day duties and are regarded as rājasic. When the four sātvic hours of the morning are used for engaging oneself in good actions like worship, virtuous deeds, and keeping good company, one is sure to raise oneself from the human to the Divine level. It is during the sātvic period (4am to 8am and 4pm to 8pm) that the Gayatri mantra should be recited.

After volunteering in ‘Shiva trust’ I have felt a sense of internal peace. Our trust organizes several retreat programs, where people come from different parts of the world to find inner peace. We love serving our guests when they come here to find Shiva, chant ‘mantras’. It is a very peaceful experience altogether that people experience after connecting with lord Shiva.

Here at Shiva trust, all religious practices are done as per mentioned in our Vedic scriptures, so that devotees can attain maximum benefits. Another purpose is to generate religious belief among people so that the world becomes a better place and people remain free from their physical, mental, and spiritual problems.

Chaos, Order and Evolution

Scientists say that all of creation moves in waves of chaos and order, destruction and creation. If we look deeper into this statement as it is reflected in life we will discover something very interesting. In actual fact, life is a huge recycling system. However, it is not circular, it is spiralling. In our own life, when the chaos wave comes, if we can surrender to it and ask the question, “What can I learn from you?” this chaos wave will propel us into a higher level of order. In this way, our consciousness evolves, from chaos to a higher level of order in a continuous spiral dynamic. In the same way that consciousness evolves, life forms also evolve in a continuous spiral dance. Spiralling into Ecstatic Birth It has been found by researchers into the phenomenon of natural birth, that if a woman can move into the hands and knees position and go into spiralling movements with her entire body, she will soon be in tune with cosmic consciousness and the childbirth will become blissful rather than painful. Nature would like to replace pain with ecstasy during the birth process, and indeed the organs involved in giving birth are those same erogenous zones which will bring us to orgasm. As we evolve, the pain and chaos of childbirth will be replaced by orgasmic birth. This is easily in our hands and has been described very beautifully in the film “Birth As We Know It” by Elena Vladamirova. Evolving through Chaos into a Higher Level of Order Nature and the human system is a self-cleansing organism. The illness takes us into chaos, to the very brink of extinction. Our whole organism asks the question, “Should I move towards entropy and death or should I move towards regeneration and health? If there is a lack of love vibrating in the cells and organs, our lifeforce energy weakens and becomes susceptible to decomposing factors. The nature within us says, “This organism is ready for recycling.” Once the command has been stated, the body mind will simply follow the command. The art in life is to experience the chaos wave, stop, breathe, say “Yes,” and ask the simple question; “What can I learn from you?” Wait for the answer, and proceed in full trust that nature would in fact love you to regenerate if at all possible. This is as true for the planet as it is for a human body. An article in the New Scientist magazine says: “Most important of all is to recognise that chaos is responsible for maintaining order in the natural world.” Scientists were surprised to find that in the area affected by Chernobyl (where the nuclear catastrophe in Russia took place,) nature is growing with gusto. The wilderness has returned to its former glory in just 32 years. Much wildlife of the area has thrived and new species of wildlife are emigrating to the region. My organiser created a 4 hour Tantra meditation event in a magnificent sacred geometry building called Letohradek Hvezda (“Star Summer Palace”) which was built between 1555 to 1558 by Ferdinand II, Archduke of Austria. The building was created on a site sacred to priestesses who kept an eternal fire burning there to represent the power of the place. The building is made in the form of what is commonly called the Star of David but is actually a much older symbol from India called the Shiva Shakti Yantra, made of two intersecting triangles. The upward pointing triangle represents the male fiery element and the downward pointing triangle represents the watery female element. In the center of these intersecting triangles is the bindu, the transcendental field from where everything comes and to where everything returns. In the Star Summer Palace, the pointed ends of the triangles are aimed precisely towards other sacred sites in Prague. Prague is considered to be the center of Europe and so the sacred geometry formations affect the whole of Europe. The building was created in honour of the secret lover of the Duke, who he remained loyal to, his entire life. The floors of the building represent the elements and the top floor where we held our event used to be a huge meeting room for alchemists. What an amazing scene it was! 200 people dressed in white, entered the building walking barefoot and in silence. A musician named Fran played Tibetan singing bowls as people took their seats in a huge circle. Together with my organiser Durga, we explained to them the principles of transforming suffering into love through Atisha’s Heart meditation. After one hour of this meditation, we had a break and then came back inside for the second part of our program. We introduced the Mahamudra meditation with a demo from our assistants. The meaning of Mahamudra is the great gesture arising out of the ultimate orgasm with the universe. When the Mahamudra meditation began, the power of the energy radiating out along the ley lines into the whole world was palpable. When we entered the prayer phase of the meditation and the sounds of 200 people in ecstasy reverberated in the sacred space, I was overwhelmed with the emotion of the moment. At the end of our event, people were hugging each other; strangers in pure bliss together. In that moment, I felt the Kali Yuga (the Age of Chaos) transforming into the Sat Yuga (the Age of Truth.) Even though this was a 4 hour event, a pop up Buddhafield, the power and presence of transformation in that room made something very obvious to me…….. the world is changing! Such deep meditative spaces used to be reserved for the few thousand disciples of a great master such as Osho in the confines of his small ashram. Now, this energy is emerging everywhere. The Buddhafield is Everywhere I attended a live music Satsang with Deva Premal, Miten and Manose. The scene was pure magic. We were in an olive grove called Gayatri Mandir, overlooking the sea in Arillas, Corfu, Greece. Everyone sat in silence as this group of magical musicians played exquisite mantras and songs devoted to spiritual awakening, interspersed with silence. This version of Satsang was created by Osho in the 1970’s and has since been a favourite forum of meditative expression for many Osho musicians. Afterwards, I went to hug Miten and we had a beautiful conversation. I told him about my event in Prague which was so magical, and how it feels to experience a pop up Buddhafield in a city. He said, “He is everywhere now. The Buddhafield is all over the world!” Yes, I believe we are now in the midst of living Osho’s dream, a world opening to love and meditation! The Faces of Chaos And, of course, alongside this, there is more chaos than ever in the world as politicians and power mongers of all kinds haggle over which bit of the world they get to dominate and destroy next. In the alternative culture we also witness corruption and abuses of power. The ‘outing’ of teachers who use their authority to sexually abuse their students is becoming more and more prevalent. People who are interested in authentic Tantra are becoming more discerning, realising that there are many wolves in sheep’s clothing out there. Some battle-scarred individuals and couples have commented to me: “My God, what I have been through trying to find authentic Tantra! I got so traumatised by (X group or X session) and am now so happy to have found you!” A Quantum Leap from the Kali Yuga to the Sat Yuga Watching, reading and listening to such stories, we may tend to feel depressed. We can’t believe that people who are in the alternative movement could even think of doing some of the things we hear about or witness. However, we are not as helpless as we might seem. The tide is turning from chaos to a higher level of order, from the Kali Yuga to the Sat Yuga. It is a delicate path to walk, achieving discernment in the Kali Yuga. It appears there are land mines everywhere. I believe the best way to move forward is as Lao Tzu describes the Taoist way, to move as if walking barefooted in an icy stream, carefully and with awareness. My way of holding discernment is to align myself with the Sat Yuga, carrying it inside as a whispered transmission which lives within my heart of hearts. Whatever is aligned with truth can remain with me. Whatever is in a downward spiral moving into unconsciousness and entropy is not my path. I invite all those who are aligned with love and meditation to join me in the spiral dance, rising in love, shining light into illusory shadowed corners of our being and surrendering to the ultimate truth, that state of bliss which is eternal and all pervading.
