The great white shark ... Member of the Marine Big 5 with a serious bad image 😎 The population went down dramatically during the last few years because of several reasons. Did you know they are pregnant for 18 months .. that’s a long period! No wonder that the aren’t baby sharks all over :-) . Gansbaai, the Capital of the Great White Shark, in South Africa still has few great whites being frequent visitors in the bay. But unfortunately less than in the „good old days“. We have to cross fingers that this majestic animal doesn’t get eradicated in future. . . . I’ll be leaving here next week.
