The Childhood Horse Trio

When I was little, I didn't see much of the g3 shows. I just had three toy ponies. Sunny Daze, Rainbow Dash, and Butter Pop. Though I always forgot Butter Pop's name & ended up calling her Popcorn Pony. Still those three remain my favorite mlp characters of that generation.

I'm not sure about the other two, but Sunny Daze strikes me as sporty & fast talking, leaving you in a daze!

I wanted to put this post in a better format. Organized from newest to oldest. You can tell I procrastinated on Rainbow Dash for a long time..

G3 MLP Imaginetics Petite Ponyville Magnet Board Playset

It's still in the plastic packaging, I think I got this off Amazon? New-old stock stuff, kind of like those Craig MP3 Players that you can get still packaged - this came in more plastic sandwiched between two slips of cardboard, and I don't think I'll take it out of the packaging, so it won't get damaged or faded or anything.

Terrible quick photos because I wanted to show off here and then put it somewhere safe from the sun as quick as I could.

A G3 Spanish language VHS of "A Charming Birthday" with a surprise indeed . . . the early artwork of green-haired Minty AND Sparkleworks with multi-colored hair.

I've seen the Minty picture before (it was on Hasbro's mylittlepony.com website prior to G3's release) but Sparkleworks with orange and pink hair is new to me . . . I wonder if that was also an early prototype idea.

it has been almost three years since my last sunny daze redesign. took another crack at it :]

I know a lot of people like to make her a pegasus, which is always fun, don’t get me wrong, but to me that makes her feel like just a rainbow dash copy— and sends the message that athletic or weather-themed pony = pegasus. so in my mind, sunny daze will always be an earth pony.

plus, earth ponies just need more love in general!

(cutie mark subject to change bc I do like the little sun face, but wasn’t sure how to get it to look nice)
