DAIYA CHARACTERS AS DADS

-> Father with the most humor. Loves making their children laugh. Whenever their child is sad, all they have to do is make a funny face, do a little dance with them, or even make a funny drawing, and that child is no longer feeling sad. Also, those types of dads that say "ya momma" to their kid (like that ain't his wife...) Truly one of the best kinds of father to have.

(kuramochi, SAWAMURA, kanemaru, narumiya, carlos, sanada, ryosuke)

-> Father with the scariest face, but the purest heart. These fathers may LOOK terrifying, but these men are gentle with their kids. The faces that they have may look like they are able to murder someone (they could) but they are like the neighborhood dads. They have their house open to everybody, as long as they respect it. They do have a bad side tho. So just watch it and there will be ZERO problems!

(TANBA, TETSUYA, kataoka, okumura, raichi)

-> Father that is scared, but loving. So scared to be a father. Now don't get me wrong, they LOVE their child/children. But the thought of not being good enough for them leaves them wondering if they are cut out for this. Yet, all of those worries wash away when their child/children are clingy towards them. Their child absolutely adores their father so damn much. They have the best bond with their children, a bond that will always be cherished

How I think Daiya no Ace Characters hug (Furuya, Haruichi, Kanemaru, and Sawamura) - Headcanons

(Please remember, these are only my headcanons of how I think these characters would hug) (Mostly platonic, can be seen as romantic)

Eijun Sawamura

- Sawamura is quite a hugger, when he gets excited, he would tap or flop himself onto others, if you are close friends, he flops his body over You for attention, if you aren't as close he would tap your shoulder rapidly or bonk you a few times.

- Sawamura would laugh loudly and practically jump on you whenever he sees you, happily just yelling your name, everyone on the team knows when you arrive due to Sawamura.

- “I know, I know, I'm so amazing! Ahaa!” Sawamura would dorkily grin and whenever he got to hug you, he tries to be respectful.. but he always seems to overstep into your personal space.

- He manages to accidentally step on your toes whenever you hug, basically being too excited to think about where he stands.. so he subconsciously chooses on your shoes.

- Sawamura is quite a warm guy, simply wrapping his arms around you to either plop his head onto your head or shoulder as he excitedly rock back and forth as he tells you about his very awesome day at practice or something along those lines.

- Quite like a golden retriever, as he likes front hugs, he likes being right up against you, where he could easily wrap his arms around your neck, shoulders, or waist.

- This man would love it if you are as clingy to him as he is to you, but if you aren't, that's alright. He would try very hard to be respectful, but he also loves attention, praise, and physical touch BUT! He would try and make your comfort #1 priority during hugs.

- He wouldn't notice at all if you were uncomfortable, you would have to tell him if he's too loud, or hugging too tight. He would laugh loudly and sheepishly as he would let go or loosen his grip on you.

- ‘Good luck hugs!’ Sawamura would say before hugging you before a game, a tight bone-crushing hug then he would run off, almost tripping over his own two feet with a small blush the moment you, Miyuki, or Kuramochi make fun of him.

"Yes! Yes! Yes!" Sawamura would shout happily after a hug, cackling for all to hear as he would 'brag' to the rest of the team.

Satoru Furuya

- Furuya would just plop down on you, his head on your shoulder or lap if you're good friends, that is his hug, and he wants to nap.

- Furuya's hugs are… unique. It would either be from behind or from the front, he would practically just walk into your body, waiting for you to be the one to hug him. He wouldn't even wrap his arms around you, he would just end up resting so his chin was on your head or shoulder.

- The man would definitely fall asleep if you held him too long, his eyes would tiredly droop as he would hide his face into your neck, head, or shoulder.

- Furuya is much colder than Sawamura, he would startle you with his cold hands, claiming he needs you to warm him up so he could go pitch. It became a normal thing for him to just walk up to you and place his hands on yours to ‘warm up’ and then silently walk away to go get (annoy) Miyuki to catch his pitches.

- He tends to forget about boundaries, accidentally getting into your personal space as he would murmur for your attention, forgetting to be respectful of what you would want.

- But if you tell him straight up, you want him to do something or hug you a certain way he would. He's just a bit dense when it comes to being respectful and respecting unspoken boundaries.

Haruichi Kominato

- He is shyer with his hugs, hiding his face into your shoulder, or neck as he would wrap his arms around your torso or shoulders.

- “Thank you.” He would say quietly once you both let go from the hug.

- He has good body temperature, warm but not too hot or cold.

- He has two different hugs, a casual side hug that people or you usually would have to pull him into or his normal casual hug, where it wouldn't be too short or too long and it would be comfortable.

- He is very observant and respectful, he would notice if you were uncomfortable in a hug and make an effort to let go and see what he could do to make you comfortable.

- He would be shy about the hug, if you tease him, he would go red in the face and keep his eyes behind his hair as he would turn away and laugh sheepishly.

- He wouldn't hug you before games, being too shy to hug anyone in front of his team, he would give you shoulder pats though like he would to the rest of the team.

Kanemaru Shinji

- Normal and sane hugger compared to the others.

- He would grunt as he would wrap his arms around your waist or shoulders, being a bit stubborn about the hug.

- “All comfortable? Or do you need something else.” He would scoff, but he did mean it despite coming off as rude.

- Kanemaru does respect you, he doesn't mean to come off as rude, he simply does sometimes. He secretly doesn't mind the hugs, he might even like them, but he would tell a soul, that's something he would keep to himself.

- Kanemaru is quite warm, he would hug you close to his chest or would lean into yours if you are taller, his hugs are tighter compared to the others, with one hand resting on the back of your neck and the other resting on your lower back.

- Very respectful, would rest his face against the top of your head or your shoulder, no matter if you're taller or shorter.

- He would ‘shove’ you off after he claims you were hugging him too long and pat your head as he walks off.

- He wouldn't really hug you before the baseball games or practices, but if after? Yes, you could get a hug, he has such an adrenaline rush after playing, he would hug tightly and with a big happy grin that he got to play.

Polar Bears Are Not Always Lonely

So this is like something I wrote a very long time ago and it feels like a weird fever dream

idk I kinda like the “reader is fine with the yandere” trope

part of draft clearing 2022

"He's the only one who can catch it," he mumbled, "my pitch."

"Satoru, you want to go to Seido and follow him then?"

"Please come with me, I need you with me always."

Furuya Satoru had always been ostracized by other baseball players. He was quiet, and lacking in basic social skills. However, you had always been there for him, something about him just attracted you. Of course, it helps that you two were childhood friends and neighbors. When Satoru was little, he used to crawl into your bed and take naps. He liked your bed better, he would always say. To be honest he still crawls into your bed to sleep, it's almost routine to lift the covers and find him snoozing.

His parents finally acquiesced, and allowed their son to chase his baseball dreams in Tokyo, as long as you would be there to take care of him. They didn't know how deep his obsession with you ran, but rather assumed you two were just best friends who were extremely close. Furuya's grandfather was much sharper, and picked up on the nature of your relationship with his grandson almost right away. Naturally he was worried, but the crookedness of Furuya's obsession with you pushed him to greater heights. For the sake of his development, his grandfather turned a blind eye. There's a fine line between obsession and determination, but Furuya went off the deep end a long time ago. You are his motivation, his blessing. There are two things on his mind at all times, you and baseball. He plays baseball to impress you. While you were children, you mentioned once that baseball players were cool. Furuya immediately went to his grandfather and asked him to teach him baseball. Everything started with you, and now you have a responsibility to see it through.

"Satoru, let's go!" You pulled him by the hand, and knocked on the dorm marked with his name. "See you later! I'm going to find my dorm now." You rushed the other direction just as the door opened. Earlier, you had met Takashima Rei and Kataoka Tesshin, and offered some helpful advice for dealing with Furuya, and explained the situation. Surprisingly, Coach Kataoka was completely okay with it, "as long as he can play well" he said. You could tell the level of attachment Furuya had with you made their scout, Takashima Rei uncomfortable. After all, Furuya was literally clinging to you in his sleep the whole time meeting. But she reluctantly allowed it, recognizing Furuya's potential for the team. You were allowed a room at the dorms, an extra staff room with its own shower, so you didn't have to shower with the boys. It was a ways off from the main dorms though, but that was no problem, you were lucky to even get a room.

In exchange however, you would help out the Seido team as a manager. It was a great opportunity for you to keep a closer eye on Satoru, and make sure he didn't break down without you. But most importantly,, you had to make sure he didn't harm any of the team members.

You reached your room, and started to unpack. In the middle of unpacking your clothes, someone opened your door. "I knew it. You're here." Furuya typically has a terrible sense of direction, but his internal compass seems to point straight to you. "Satoru!! Shouldn't you be bonding with your roommates?"

"But I missed you …."

"Satoru, how do you expect to play with this team if you don't get to know them? You can't keep clinging to me all the time." You chided, pushing him out the door.

"I'll come sleep in here tonight then." You closed the door, and went back to straightening out your new room. Tomorrow will be the first day of practice, and your first day as manager. You settled into sleep, and not long after a familiar weight settled in behind you, pulling you uncomfortably close.

You can feel his fire from a mile away. And you’re drawn to it like a moth to a flame.

daiya boys first date with you

summary: these are what the seidou boys would do as a first date

genre: fluff

characters: sawamura, miyuki, kuramochi, haruichi, furuya

sawamura eijun

he would probably take you to a roller skating rank

you weren’t too bad at roller skating yourself but eijun seemed to be struggling the most out of everyone in that room

he would repeatedly fall on his face because of his poor roller skating skills

you would speed toward him checking if he’s alright but would quickly climb back on his feet with a loud huff

“don’t worry y/n i got this!!” you watch him skate off immediately falling on his face

you would cry so hard from his mistakes that it would make a tint of blush appear on his cheeks seeing the way you smile because of him

after shedding a few tears of laughter from him, you help him back up on his feet with you holding his hand

he would be gripping onto your hand for his dear life as you led the way around the rank

after your fun at the roller skating rank ended, he takes u to a convenient store near seidou campus

he buys a bowl of ramin for the both of you to enjoy on an empty table at the front of the convenient store

the street was empty with the moon lit with the two of you enjoying each others company

it was your first date with him but soon became your most memorable one with him

miyuki kazuya

he might take you to an art museum

he seems like the type of guy who’s into certain pieces with philosophical meanings to them

he would take you to each individual painting he admires the most

he share his perspective on every painting

he’d ask your perspective on it and nods, interested in how differently you perceived it

during your trip around the museum he would carry your bag for you while wrapping his hand around yours gently swinging it back and forth

he enjoyed seeing the way your eyes lit from seeing another pretty painting near by

you would lead the way to the next painting

he would blush at the way you held onto his hand, pulling him to look at the next painting

he takes you to the gift shop, the both of you looking through the cute knickknacks

he takes a photo of you wearing some overpriced hats, enjoying the sight of you

he notices you repeatedly looking at a specific cat ring that was similar to one of the paintings you guys saw

you force a smile and asks miyuki if he’s ready to leave

on your way walking to the metro, he pulls out something out of his pocket

it was the ring you kept looking at in the gift shop

“for you…” he holds his hand up with the ring resting at the palm of his hands

you were flustered but didn’t want to accept it

he lifts your hand up and slips the ring on your ring finger

you see him smiling with pink on his cheeks

you two spend the rest of the night at his place where he cooked your favorite meal

kuramochi youichi

he would definitely take you to an arcade

he would constantly try to impress you by winning every game in the arcade

you both reached a baseball arcade game which youichi was absolutely thrilled to try

like the gentleman he is, he lets you go first and watches you pitch the plastic baseball into the hole of a catcher drawn on a flimsy wall

the ball you threw shot right into the hole making his jaw drop as you jumped with excitement seeing tickets roll out

kuramochi was impressed, but was also willing to challenge you

the two of you continued to challenge each other in almost every arcade game you were playing

when it came to the claw machines you seemed to be struggling the most with it

he decides to help you by standing behind you and putting both his hands on top of yours helping u move the controls

you feel him pressed against you back while he’s eagerly trying to help you win that stuffed cheetah toy

you both watched anxiously as the claw machine grabbed onto the cheetah

once the toy was in you hands you jump up to him, wrapping ur arms around him

he gets flustered but burying his face in the crook of your neck

the two of you continue playing the claw machine for the rest of the night until he won every single stuff toy in that machine for you

haruichi kominato

he would take you to a garden festival

he seems like he enjoys studying flowers and plants

every time you see a flower that catches your eye he would share some fun facts about them

it made you smile seeing how fascinated he was with each individual plant

you felt your fingertips brush against each other while walking side by side making the pink haired boy get flustered

you noticed a small booth selling dangos and quickly grab onto his hand, running to get in line

once you both got your snack, you continued your trip around the garden

haruichi noticed a beautiful section of the garden he hasn’t gotten the chance to take you to yet

he tells you to close your eyes as he holds onto you while leading the way

you question what he’s doing but doesn’t bother opening your eyes

he has you stand a specific spot making sure you were facing the right angle

he tells you to open your eyes

you were greeted with a beautiful glowing tunnel of bright purple wisteria

the flowery sent brushed the tip of your nose as you slowly stepped into the tunnel in awe

a smile grew on haruichi’s face seeing the way you lit up from seeing such a beautiful scenery

“shall we explore?” you ask with your hand held out for him

he chuckles and wraps his fingers around yours and continue’s your date around the garden

furuya satorou

he would take you to the zoo

specifically to see the polar bears

with his adorable obsession over those fluffy creatures, he had to see them with his favorite person

you guys would spend hours in the polar bear section

he would stare into the glass window watching the polar bears swim around and sleep on the rocks

you would take a picture of him with the polar bear

for once he was actually smiling

in the middle of you taking pictures of more polar bears he grabs onto your hand and leads you to another section

there was a tunnel for kids to crawl into with a window to see the polar bears in there own view

furuya notices it’s empty and starts to crawl inside

you were stunned by his sudden decision but follows him inside anyways

the two of you were both seated on the ground, stuffed side by side looking through the window

one polar bear swam toward your window and pressed its nose against the window

furuya eagerly leaned closer to the window with a wide grin on his face with hands pressed against the window

you noticed the pink color growing on his pale cheeks as he watched in awe with how the polar bear swam away

“thanks for coming with me y/n…” furuya was never really the thankful type

you got a little flustered but smiled brightly to him

“of course, i love spending time with you!” you lean closer to him and plant a kiss on his cheek

he quickly sat up from the unexpected kiss, and a soft smile slowly appeared on his lips

he grabs your hand and leads you out of the kids window

the two of you spend the rest of the day looking at other animals, and finally leaving the zoo with a stuffed polar bear toy in furuya’s hands

Sawamura

“Hey, Eijun, have you seen my phone? I can’t find it.” You tell him as you search your room

“No, want me to call it?”

“Sure.”

You both stand silently trying to hear it faintly buzz

“Found it!” Sawamura shouts, he holds it up to show you but stops as he sees your phone screen

“What is it, Eijun?” You ask taking your phone from his hands

“Why is my name in your phone that?” He points dejectedly at your phone

You check to see what it was, “It’s just Sawamura??”

“Yeah, why?” He honestly seemed like you just told him you didn’t think he had what it takes to be an ace

“Because it’s your name???”

“But how will anyone know that we’re dating? I look like any other person in your phone!”

“I don’t really see th-“

“Look!” He shouts and thrusts his phone into your face

The picture for your contact was a picture of him kissing your cheek and your name was “the cutest person in the world 🥺💗” you felt your heart grow ten sizes

“I’m sorry, I just never changed your contact name from when I first put your number in before we were dating. I’ll change it right now!”

“How’s this?”

Isashiki

Isashiki had come to your room under the pretense of studying, but the only thing he had in his hands was a teen magazine

You gave him a questioning look and he showed you the page he was opened to

“How cute of a couple are you?”

“Yes, I think we have the potential to have a soulmate level relationship!” You laughed and agreed.

The two of you laid side by side on your floor on your stomachs. For the most part you guys earned a lot of points, your only problem was when it came to your names for each other in your phones.

“That’s it? Not even Jun??” He asked, sinfully sitting up from the position you two were in on the floor.

“I’ll change it, I’ll change it.”

You type away and showed him your new contact for him

“That’s more like it.” He huffed, crossing his arms.

“I’m sorry, I should have changed it much earlier.” You say as you kiss Isashiki’s cheek.

“As long as you know what you did.” He said as he leaned into your touch.

Miyuki

You were sitting in class during a break with Kuramochi when your nosey boyfriend decided to come up behind you and look over your shoulder at your phone

“Ugh, is that my name in your phone?”

Cutie 🥰

“What? No. This is Sawamura.”

“Sawamura is “Cutie” in your phone? Why?” Miyuki asked incredulously. Kuramochi started cackling at this.

“Cause he’s cute?” You’d shrugged.

“Well what am I?”

You paused, “I don’t actually know…” You swipe through until you find his contact and turn your screen to show him

Miyuki

Kuramochi began gasping for air as he took your phone out of your hands, “I’ve gotta send this to the group chat!”

Miyuki tried his best to appear unbothered

He screenshot both of the contacts and went to send them to himself, “Wait, is this me?”

Kuramochi held up the phone

Cheetah 🐆

Now Miyuki just felt betrayed

“You have a nickname for him in your phone? But not your loving boyfriend??”

“Uh, sorry. I guess we were just on last name basis when I put yours in, but I was already friends with Sawamura and Kuramochi when I made theirs.”

Kuramochi had yet to stop laughing, “I’ll change it!” You told Miyuki.

“I was just kidding, it doesn’t really matter to me.” Yes it does

“There!”

“How’s that?”

He wanted to act like it didn’t make him embarrassingly happy to have a special name in your phone., but he just settled on, “Cute.” And he flicked your forehead

“That’s cute and all, (y/n), but do you want to know what you are in his phone?” Kuramochi asks, snatching Miyuki’s phone from his hands.

Pest

“You dick! You made me feel bad!” You punch his arm.

“At least it’s a nickname!”

Furuya

You were sitting with Furuya during lunch when Sawamura and Haruichi sat down with the two of you

“Hey guys, what’s up?” You asked.

“We were wondering-“ Haruichi began

“What’s your name for Furuya in your phone?” Sawamura finished.

“I think it’s just his name.” You answered and pulled out your phone.

“Yep, it’s just “Furuya”.” You show them.

The three of them sat in silence for a second before Sawamura broke out sobbing and wiping his eyes. “I’m so sorry your feelings aren’t required Furuya!”

Haruichi placed a hand on his shoulder and gave Furuya a sympathetic look.

“What are you guys talking about? It’s his name, what wrong with that?”

“Nothing,” Furuya assured you. “My name for you is just your name too.”

“Liar!” Haruichi snatches Furuya’s phone from him.

He turned for you to see his phone screen, “See.”

Beautiful

“This keeps getting worse and worse!” Sawamura cries.

- I don’t think Miyuki gets jealous easily, but he does have his moments when he’s a bit more vulnerable. One day he can be extremely confident in himself, your relationship, and knows that no one will come between it. But other times he questions if he’s good enough for you, and starts to mentally mark off all the reasons why you would be better off without him or with someone else

- He doesn’t get jealous when he sees you interacting with other guys, but Miyuki is very much aware of the fact that he isn’t very open with his feelings and he knows that you often crave that kind of intimacy. So when he notices you getting close with someone who seems to be more in touch with their feelings and are able to communicate it, he can’t help but get a little jealous 🥺

- When he’s in a jealous rut, he starts to distance himself from you. He finds more reasons to tell you that he’s too busy to hang out, or he might pull away whenever you try to show him affection. He hates seeing how much it hurts you but in that moment he thinks it’s for the best

- Eventually, when he’s had enough of the distance he might blow up, not necessarily towards you, but there’s likely a moment where he lets everything out. How the last few days have been so frustrating for him, how he hates how good you look with that idiot you’ve been hanging out with recently, how sorry he is for being a dolt that can’t express his feelings

- Jun does get jealous and quite easily too. Blame it on the shojo that he reads but whenever he sees someone else, especially a guy, make a point to befriend you, his mind immediately goes to the worst thing. He knows you’re a catch and how lucky he is to be dating you, so he’s aware that other guys might want a piece too

- Jun will try to hide his jealousy, for the sake that he does trust you and knows that you’re capable of having your own relationships outside of the one you have with him. But he can’t help his mouth when someone gets a bit too close, or a little too touchy with you

- When you’re alone with him, he’s sooo clingy. He wants your affection and for your attention to be 100% on him. He needs to know from your mouth that there isn’t anything for him to worry about 🤍

- Your reassurance is enough to know that he isn’t going to lose his spot as your #1 man. But that’s not to say that he won’t still have a few choice words with the person that started all of this

Furuya Satoru

- Furuya gets jealous 100% but no one knows. He doesn’t get jealous easily, and his facade doesn’t change, he doesn’t act any different with you when others are around. He could watch 10 different people flirt with you, and he wouldn’t say a word because 1: you can handle it yourself, and 2: he knows no one will take his place

- But everyone has a sense of pride, especially him, so he can’t help the jealous thoughts that pop up in his head every once in a while

- His jealousy really shows when the two of you are alone. He’s a bit short with you, a little more aggressive in how he acts intimately. You have to call him out on it because he’d never admit that he’s acting this way because he’s jealous

- His head cools off once you point out how silly he’s acting, but he’s still a bit in need of your affection 🤍

Winter Wonderland

A/n: Hello~ this is such a cute idea!! I love writing Furuya, so thank you for requesting him 🛐

----------------------------------------------------------

Normally, Furuya would travel back to Hokkaidou for Seidou's winter break to visit his mom, but this year he ended up staying a few extra days at school with the team for an extended training camp

So instead of him going all the way to Hokkaidou, he would be spending break at his grandparents' home and his mom would join them in Tokyo!

And now that you had been dating Furuya for about a year, you were promptly invited to stay with him and his family for break as well

So the moment the training camp finished, you and your boyfriend packed your bags and hopped onto a train to go to his grandparents' home

Obviously Tokyo isn't as cold as Hokkaidou, but usually the area would get a few snowy days during the winter

But it seemed as though you had brought a curse to the city because it had yet to snow once in the two years you had been living there

(ok that's a lie. Technically it had snowed, but you were visiting your family when it did, so you never saw it)

Anyways, long story short, you were desperately hoping to see snow, which Furuya was a bit confused by at first

He loved snow too (mostly because he enjoyed the cold) but there's a difference between loving snow and obsessively checking the weather status every 30 minutes

He asked why you were checking the weather again while on the train and thats when you explained everything

A majority of Furuya's childhood was spent in the coldest prefecture in Japan, so sometimes he forgot that not everyone has seen snow before

Now that Furuya knew you had never experienced snow before, he was hoping for some just as much as you were :)

The two of you arrived at his grandparents' house in the evening, just in time for dinner

After the two of you had eaten, you wished his grandparents goodnight and went off to the spare room they had set up your futons

You and Furuya fell asleep instantly after your hectic day of packing and traveling

You had gone to bed fairly early, so you woke up to the first rays of sunlight seeping through the window

(you also woke up to Furuya in your futon; his face was pressed into the side of your neck and his arms were wrapped around your middle, completely immune to the beams of light from outside)

You stayed curled up with your Personal Polar Bear for a while longer, inclining your head to face him and trace your hand up and down his arm

The cozy moment was shattered when you spotted something move outside; or more accurately, something flurry down from the sky

You squinted at the white sky, your eyes straining against the bright world. Once you noticed what it was your eyes widened and an exciting gasp left you

Poor Furuya was awoken by you slapping his arm, excitedly rambling: "Satoru! Satoru get up!"

When he was awake enough to mumble a response (and try to snuggle back into the crook of your neck) you had him up on his feet and dragged him down the hall to the backyard

You flung the door open and we're instantly hit with an icy breeze; a breeze that stung your cheeks and tickled your fingers. You were in awe of the blanketed landscape infront of you, dashing into the center of the back garden, still dressed in your pajamas

The air felt colder as the small snowflakes rained down on you, the sheet of powdery snow crunching under your feet with each step

Furuya watched you from the doorway, a sleepy, adoring smile tugging at his face while he watched you spin around outside

You stood with your face angled up to the sky, eyes closed as you reveled in the cold flakes that tickled your skin as the fluttered down

The feeling of a jacket being draped over your shoulders pulled you from your moment of escapism

You spun around and were greeted by the sight of Satoru—his own winter jacket on and a pleasant look on his face as he was embraced by the cold air—who took your hands and pulled you into a hug

His grandmother found the two of you sitting on the steps of the porch about half an hour later. To which she ushered you both in out of the wintery landscape and pushed cups of hot tea into your hands

we all know this boy sleeps any and everywhere

he can’t help it, just something about being hot 24/7 + sitting still just makes him doze a bit

so yeah he just sort of sleeps anywhere and everywhere

yet his fav place to lay his head is your thighs :(

No matter the day, Furuya never failed to come into your apartment, a soft pout on his face as he shed the outer layer of clothing before he plopped down on your sofa, and today was no different.

If you hadn’t heard him close the front door, you’d be a bit shocked at his appearance as he didn’t call out a greeting nor did he speak to you as he adjusted himself on the small sofa, lanky limbs stretching across the furniture as he moved your arms from your lap. Resting his head onto your plush thighs, a soft exhale of pure and utter joy left his lips.

Before you know it, his eyes are fluttering shut and soft snores begin to accompany the soft sound of your TV show playing in the distance. A fond smile spreads onto your lips and you can’t help but shake your head at the dark haired boy’s odd nature. Yet, his many quirks were one of the reasons why he’d held your heart for so many years.

Brushing his dark inky bangs away from his forehead, you press a light kiss against his forehead, smile still on your face as you pulled away and refocused on your show.

Furuya was an odd boy, but he was your boy.

listen....getting him to rest is an event

he’s just this boundless bottle of energy, and napping just isn’t for him

struggles a lot with insomnia. his mind and body is just always racing and it’s hard to get the two to calm down.

Yet, when he finally does crash, he’s just a clingy little baby who wants to fall asleep pressed against you

As he entered his bedroom, he was careful not to make too much noise as he discarded his clothing and switched into his pajamas.

You’d retired to bed hours earlier, unable to stay awake with him in the late hours of the night, and he didn’t expect you to. He knew his sleeping schedule was unpredictable, and despite his need to spend every waking moment with you, he understood that you needed your sleep.

As he slipped his night shirt over his head, he heard your body shift in his bed and for a moment he worried that he’d woke up, yet when your sleep heavy voice didn’t fill the air, he let out an exhale of relief.

He was careful as he slipped into the bed, eyes roaming your slumbering figure as his hand reached over to graze his fingers across your exposed abdomen.

He couldn’t stop the satisfied exhale if he tried.

With steady hands, he shifted your body, careful to not shake you out of your sleep, as he intertwined his limbs with your own. Body now pressed snuggly against yours, another delighted exhale left his lips, and for the first time that night he felt his body completely relax and melt into yours.

His lips grazed over your pulse, pressing a soft kiss into the skin, before he nestled his head into your chest, eyes fluttering closed as he listened to the soft beating of your heart.

“Love you,” He mummered, even though he was sure you were deep in slumber, yet your sleep laced voice filled his ears.

“Love you too, Eijun,” you whispered back to him, and he feels his face heat.

Guess he wasn’t being as quiet and careful as he thought he was.

we all know he’s the best cuddler, right?

he’s always the right temperature, never moves too much, and just an overall joy to lounge around with

yet sleeping is a different story

somehow he just always ends up on top of you, and it doesn’t help that he’s a heavy sleeper..

At the blaring sound of your early morning alarm, you felt your body jerk itself awake. A low groan left your lips, and you couldn’t help but to curse the fact that you’d signed up for early morning classes this semester. Reaching under your pillow, your fingers smoothed over the cool screen of your phone, snoozing the alarm without a second thought.

The loud noise of the alarm ceased, and the air of your bedroom was still once more. Plopping your head back down onto your pillow, you then notice that your bedmate didn’t stir once despite the obnoxious blaring of your alarm.

Yet, this didn’t surprise you. Haruichi never stirred in the early hours of the morning, no matter how much noise surrounded him. Exhaling softly, you felt his body shift, his head moving from it’s place on the small of your back to your shoulder blade as he moved in his sleep. You felt his hands slip into the front of your pants, fingers lightly gripping the fat of your thighs as a deep exhale left his lips at his new position.

You knew he wasn’t awake and that his new position would make it even harder for you to pry his body away from yours in hopes of getting ready for the day. But, you didn’t find yourself minding too much. Not when his warmth brought comfort, and his breathing lulled you back to sleep.

Maybe five extra minutes of sleep wouldn’t hurt.

chris is the best boyfriend, and this is not up for debate

too tired to do your night routine? he’s helping you through it. you need a nap? he’s there to be your pillow. want to just be close to him? he’s taking you into his arms.

loves pressing kisses against your cheeks as you doze in and out of sleep

he can’t help it, you just look so cute snuggled into his chest.

The soft hum of music filled your ears as you blinked yourself awake. Your brows furrowed as your eyes finally focused on the familiar surrounding of Chris’ apartment’s living room.

You didn’t mean to fall asleep during one of the rare night-ins with your boyfriend. Yet, with your inability to find a stable sleeping schedule, and the warmth of Chris’ toned chest it didn’t take you long to be captured by the sweet lull of slumber.

Lifting your head, you watched as Chris moved the book he was reading, hazel gaze meeting yours as a smile spread across his boyish features. Chris pulled his earbud from his ear, head tilting as his fingers go to caress the side of your cheek.

“Sorry,” You apologized, lips twisting down into a soft pout as you gazed at your boyfriend.

“Whatcha apologizing for?” He questioned you, a singular brow raising as his thumb rubbed soothing circles to your cheek.

“We’re supposed to be hanging out, but here I am sleeping.”

A chuckle left Chris’ lips, and the rumbling of his chest only soothed your relaxed body even more.

“You know I’m satisfied with just laying with you, angel,” He mused, head leaning down to press a soft kiss onto your pouting lips. A whine escapes you, yet he’s quick to hush you with another soft kiss. Pulling away, an easy smile twitched onto his lips and he rested back into his previous position.

“Go back to sleep,” He commanded softly, words leaving no room for argument. Yet, his tone was as loving as ever, “Don’t think I haven’t noticed those dark circles.”

A giggle left your lips and with no complaint, you rest your head back onto your boyfriend’s toned chest, eyes fluttering shut as you attempted to fall back into the sweet coiling feeling of sleep. Yet before you felt your body drift away into slumber, Chris’ lips brush against your forehead, and nothing but warmth fills your chest.

He really was so perfect without even trying.

❍ FURUYA SATORU

-> he was quiet. and tall. and slept in class practically every lesson

-> frankly, you didn’t know whether to be impressed or put-off

-> you were definitely annoyed when you heard that he was your new desk partner due to fate’s draw of hand that came with the newly arranged seats for this term

-> he offered no words to you as you sat down, and neither did you, instead opting to open your notebook and face the front

-> everything went by without a hitch until you were jolted out of your note-taking by a weight on your shoulder

-> you turned your head as best as you could to be met with a head of black hair

-> it turns out that furuya had managed to slump over onto you entirely during his most recent nap, which was a feat in itself considering his height

-> you squeaked in surprise and the boy stirred, raising his head in confusion with unfocused eyes

-> the hair in front of eyes prevented any eye contact, and to doubly ensure this he also had the habit of training his eyes on the floor as he walked through the hallways

-> as it turns out, this habit of his was about to bite him in the ass

-> maybe, with a few more precautions, haruichi would have been able to completely avoid turning a corner and walking straight into you

-> it wasn’t enough to send either of you tumbling to the ground, though you did manage to drop your notebook in surprise

-> haruichi ducked down quickly, picking it up for you with nimble fingers

-> he handed it back to you, not daring to meet your gaze as he stammered out an apology as best as he could

-> but the sound of your laughter was a shock to his ears, and he looked up just in time to catch the sweet smile on your face

-> “don’t even worry about it”

-> you placed an assuring hand on his shoulder, before continuing on your way

-> “i’ll see you around!” you called over your shoulder to him

-> under his fringe, haruichi’s face was pinker than his hair

❍ TODOROKI RAICHI

-> the fact that he acted so differently on and off the pitch intrigued you

-> as raichi's classmate, you knew him as the awkward silent guy who sat at the back of the class

-> as a manager for yakushi’s baseball team, you knew him as bold and brash, overflowing with power in every swing that he delivered

-> however, he regressed back to his shy bashful self as soon as he finished on the pitch and returned to the dugout, where you were sat with water bottles and a banana specifically for the batter

-> as the coach called for a break for the whole team, you spotted the very source of your interest make a direct beeline towards the refreshments

-> practice was harder in the summer months, and the heat surely left all of the team feeling sweaty and thirsty

-> as others were quick to grab their bottles, you picked up raichi’s and held it out to him as he approached

Kuramochi

i wouldn’t say he wouldn’t mind, it’s just you give him no choice.

you quite literally just plop down on his lap, cutting him off whatever he was saying, and just- sleep.

“hey what's up- what are you doing?” “sleeping.” you mumble, shifting around till you were comfortable. “night, mochi.”

he really doesn’t mind it though, none of them do.

he’s actually extremely happy that you find him comfy or feel comfortable enough to sleep on him, it’s a small thing but kuramochi enjoys it so much.

Furuya

now he’s a bit… in between..?

i’d just say that he’s a bit upset because you beat him when it came to falling asleep.

he’d be content and everything but he wanted to sleep on you instead…

“you fell asleep on me last time, when is it my turn?” he grumbled, resting his hand on your head.

he’s a bit nervous and flustered when it first happened, was not expecting you to just cuddle him while your head was on his lap.

࿔*:･ﾟMIYUKI the seido baseball team was throwing a little new years party and you were asked to come! you’re one of the team managers so of course you’d show up but even if you weren’t you’d still be invited because you’ve been kazuya’s close friends for yearsss! eating in the spirit dorms dining hall, surrounded by seido baseball team, watching various new years programs, and sitting besides miyuki kazuya, could this new years get any better? yes, yes it can. the boys have started talking about their resolutions for the coming year “I WANT TO BE THE ACE!” “i want to take more naps” you laugh at the boys’ ridiculous resolutions occasionally teasing them by saying things like “eh? shouldn’t you be taking less naps satoru?” but what surprised you was hearing kuramochi say to his friend “say miyuki aren’t you gonna tell y/n over here your resolution?” as soon as he said that miyuki’s classic shit eating grin appeared and you just KNEW somethings going on “oh? and what might that be?” he wraps his arm around his shoulder and says to you “my resolution was to finally confess to you of course” even in confessing to you he hasn’t lost an ounce of confidence, and still wears that shit eating grin

࿔*:･ﾟSAWAMURA you and eijun have been close friends forever it’d seemed, so this new years you two had planned to go get food and watch the fireworks together <3 so far everything had been going great! walking around the mall to go pick up some food + drinks and then taking the train to a nearby park so you can picnic and prepare to watch the fireworks! but you’ve had having strong feelings for eijun for the longest time, though you never said anything about this because you had convinced yourself he wouldn’t feel the same. so when eijun had said this it had left you speechless “hey y/n, look i reallyyyy like you and i appreciate you always coming to cheer me on at my games and just spending time w me in general. so... how about we spend the year and hopefully many years afterwords together!” he was beaming, yet this was softest you’d ever heard him speak, it took you a moment to respond since you were still shocked this was happening “oh my god of course eijun” looking down to eat your food so you have an excuse to hide your flushed face, back to normal, he shouts “YAYYYY Y/N NOW YOU CAN WATCH ME PITCH FOREVER!” he then pulls you into a hug and the two of you spend the night cuddling and watching the fireworks together

࿔*:･ﾟKURAMOCHI just for laughs and to make your new years eve interesting you posted on your instagram story “before the year ends who want me?? i know someone here is in love with me 🙄” you thought nothing of it since it was a joke but to your surprise your green haired friend had responded “hey lol hahaha hi y/n” “oh? is my dear youichi in love with me” you were just teasing him but your eyes widened when he was like “possibly, want to come over and talk about it >:)” tbh your body reacted before your mind could so you put on some shoes and get to his dorm as fast as you can. you visit youichi a lot so no one was surprised to see you around the spirit dorms, once you get to his dorm you knock on the door and as soon as it opens you’re greeted by youichi as he pulls you into“Y/N KYAHAHA TOOK YOU LONG ENOUGH!” “NO WAY, YOUICHI IS THIS A PRANK WHAT” he looks you in the eye with a soft smile and goes “why would i lie?”grabs your hand to pull you into his dorm and goes “come on let me beat your ass in mario kart one last time for the year”

࿔*:･ﾟFURUYA the two of you are hanging out in your dorm, just hanging out and waiting for the new year ball to drop! usually you guys hang out in his dorm but hes too tired of his roommates right now do you blame him the whole time you’re together you’re trying not to show your feelings for him but rn hes making it difficult with how close hes sitting by you, leaning his head on your shoulder, yawning and trying to stay awake with you man hes cuddly when hes tired you say to yourself “oh satoru if you’re tired you can go back to your dorm or just sleep on my bed for now if you want” “hmm? oh thanks y/n, but i enjoy spending time with you” now a rosy tint has spread across your face, “maybe we can spend the rest of the year together” you mutter thinking he wouldn’t hear you, except he did hear you. “oh, i’d like that actually” he said with a smile creeping up on his face while he closes his eyes and falls asleep on your shoulder “hmph so much for staying up with me” you say rolling your eyes as you smile and look down at your now raven haired boyfriend on you shoulder
