Diese Aufnahme weiß es nicht und kann auch nichts dafür, aber ich machte sie aus dem Parkhaus Sachsenhausen heraus. Diesem Parkhaus wohnt ein besonderer Zauber inne. Es hat ein offenes Dach. Oder auch: oben, auf dem Dach, kann man parken. Außerdem hat man eine gute Sicht auf alles mögliche, was Menschen so für Frankfurt halten. Deshalb kommen auch immer Menschen da hin und photographieren die Gegend, sich, sich und die Gegend. Gestern war auch ich oben. Das Bild entstand aber im Treppenhaus, auf dem Weg von Ebene 4, wo ich das Auto abgestellt hatte - es regnete gestern unberechenbar zwischen mild, heftig und gar nicht, letzteres aber selten, weshalb ich das Auto bewegte - und Ebene 5, also Dach. Jedenfalls wollte ich der Welt diesen Himmelsausschnitt keinesfalls vorenthalten, wenn ich ihn schon visuell digitalisiert habe. Deshalb ist er hier abgebildet, obwohl der Text sich mit ganz anderem befasst. Wie auch immer. Ich ging also auf's Dach, da waren schon ein Kerl und zwei Kerlinnen, ersterer mit Photoapparat, letztere wahrscheinlich Mutter und Tochter, sich ablichten lassender Weise, aber als ich kam, auch spontan aufbrechend. Ich knipste dann hin und her und verschwand über das Treppenhaus hinaus, am Schifferkrankenhaus vorbei in Richtung Eiserner Steg. Das Wetter war durchwachsen. Ich hatte meine Kapuze aufgezogen. Auf dem Eisernen Steg war, Wind und Regen zum Trotz, Betrieb. Anfangs, auf der Sachsenhäuser Seite, kann man ja auf den derzeit noch nackten Platanen hockenden Tauben bei ihrem Tun und Lassen in die Augen glotzen. Über die Brücke verteilt geht man dann unzähligen Touristen aus dem Weg, die alle dasselbe ultimative Frankfurtphoto schießen, wie schon Milliarden Touristen zuvor. Selbst der Abstieg vollzog sich langsam, weil zwei Damen Probleme hatten, gleichzeitig ihren Regenschirm in der Hand und ihr Gleichgewicht, während sie ihre Füße in wetteruntauglichen High Heels spazieren trugen, auszubalancieren. Sie machten nach der ersten Treppe halt, um zu verschnaufen. Unten wartete ich an der Ampel auf Grün, um die Straße unbeschadet queren zu können. Ich gehe jetzt während der Rotphase immer schon so weit in die Richtung, in der ich meinen Weg fortzusetzen trachte, wie möglich. Nach der Querung kommt man ja gleich am einzigen Haus vorbei, dass die Bombardierung der Altstadt wie durch ein Wunder schadlos überstanden hatte. Aber weder das Café noch das Restaurant im Haus Würzbach waren mein Ziel, stattdessen querte ich auch noch den Römerberg und gelangte an mein Ziel, wo ich mich - ich versuche mich hier diskret auszudrücken - dem Hin- und Hergewoge generationsbedingter Befindlichkeiten und Platzhirschpositionierungen aussetzte und diese moderierte. Mehr will niemand wissen, außer einer Person, aber das ist wieder etwas anderes... Als das alles hinter mir lag, machte ich mich, immer wieder Photos knipsend, auf den Rückweg und gelangte, nachdem ich für das Parkticket drei Euro bezahlte (das Parkhaus Sachsenhausen ist günstiger als alle anderen und auch als die Parkplätze auf der Straße), an das Auto. Ich fuhr dann wieder Heim und fiel in mich zusammen, als hätte ich den ganzen Tag schwer geschuftet. Dabei war doch nichts. Nur Schallwellen und Eindrücke...

That's why people always come there and photograph the area, themselves, themselves and the area. I was up there yesterday too. The picture was taken in the stairwell, on the way from level 4, where I had parked the car - yesterday it rained unpredictably between mild, heavy and not at all, but the latter rarely, which is why I moved the car - and level 5, i.e. roof. In any case, I didn't want to withhold this part of the sky from the world if I had already digitized it visually. That is why he is pictured here, although the text deals with something else entirely. However. So I went up to the roof, there were already a guy and two girls there, the first with a camera, the latter probably mother and daughter, letting themselves be photographed, but when I came, they also left spontaneously. I then snapped back and forth and disappeared down the stairwell, past the ship's hospital in the direction of the Eiserner Steg. The weather was mixed. I had my hood up. Despite the wind and rain, the Iron Bridge was busy. In the beginning, on the Sachsenhausen side, you can stare into the eyes of pigeons that are still crouching on the bare plane trees. Scattered across the bridge, you avoid countless tourists who all take the same ultimate Frankfurt photo as billions of tourists before. Even the descent was slow, as two women struggled to simultaneously balance their umbrellas and balance while walking their feet in weatherproof high heels. They stopped after the first flight of stairs to catch their breath. Downstairs I waited for the traffic light to turn green so that I could cross the street unscathed. Now, during the red phase, I always go as far as possible in the direction in which I am trying to continue my path. After the crossing you pass the only house that miraculously survived the bombing of the old town unscathed. But neither the café nor the restaurant in Haus Würzbach was my destination, instead I also crossed the Römerberg and reached my destination, where I - I'm trying to express myself discreetly here - exposed myself to the swaying of generation-related sensitivities and top dog positions and moderated between these positions. Nobody wants to know more, except for one person, but that's something else again... When all that was behind me, I made my way back, taking photos again and again, and after paying three euros for the parking ticket (the Parkhaus Sachsenhausen is cheaper than all the others and also than the parking spaces on the street) to the car. I then drove home and collapsed as if I had worked hard all day. But there was nothing. Just sound waves and impressions...
