I had a lovely evening talking to prospective adopters from Hertfordshire County Council, at their bi-monthly Virtual Adoption "Lite Bite Book Club" event! Their book club is a really brilliant way to help adopters to stay connected and motivated while progressing towards approval and matching! I talked about my experiences as an adoptive parent, and about why I created "Room in the Nest" and how it can be used to support adopted children in understanding foster care and their own life stories.
