In regards to Louis being more brave early on: Ultra was because he performed on one song with Steve. The organizer of CCME said they had been working hard to get him to the festival. I'm not sure about Royal Variety. iHeart was because Bebe was performing and he did BTY only. But those opportunities seem to have come to him. I don't know why his team isn't booking him for festivals although this year he will be touring the US during many of them. This isn't to say that Louis isn't faultless but I think it's a bit wrong to say he was more "brave" back then. He does seem to be complacent or at the very least not pushing his team to do more for him in terms of getting him out there in other opportunities that isn't radio - whether that's festivals, streaming, tv/movie/commericial/sports tie-ins, tiktok, or whatever. He does need to step out of his comfort zone to reach more people. I agree with you that it's sad that there is so much fan engagement on his social media that doesn't translate to streams. But that's because so few people outside of the fandom, Louies or otherwise, know he has music out. On that note, hope we get some 28 OP merch and documentary soon or at least more photo dumps to feed our souls until FITFWT starts!

I wish some day that there is a world in which Louis Tomlinson is visible to others besides fans, and his team doesn’t think of us only as “One Direction hysterical teen girls.”

Maybe that’s just an empty dream. Who knows.
