Ya se termina el año, literalmente. Creo que lo estoy terminando de la mejor manera posible; con gente que quiero, la mente fresca, un ligero sentimiento de paz interior y sabiendo que voy a hacer las cosas bien. No fue el mejor año, de hecho, creo que fue el peor año de todos. De mi vida.

No es por ser pesimista, ni exagerada, pero fue un año horrible para mi y mi salud mental. Todavía me cuesta creer que tuve 3 intentos este año, recaí un millón de veces, hice cosas que no debo (ni yo ni nadie) hacer, y la cagué feo. Pero está bueno pensar que ya se termina.

Una parte muy linda del año fue mi "grupito" de amigos del colegio y Twitter. Parece estúpido pero esa red social me vino joya cuando tuve que desenchufarme un rato del mundo, y conocí gente hermosa.

Hay un montón de cosas que me quedaron por hacer, y un montón de cosas de las que me arrepiento, pero es más fácil hacer como que no pasaron antes que lamentarse. Es mejor quedarse con la culpa y no con las ganas.

Ahora estoy feliz, con ganas de mejorar y arrancar el año siendo alguien mejor. Sé que suena simple y muy de minita que se leyó un libro de autoayuda, pero es un gran avance y más sabiendo lo mal que la pasé hace 2 meses. Ahora soy como otra persona, Mili de agosto y Mili de diciembre se desconocen. Igual, Mili de febrero y diciembre son la misma persona.

Dios, ni yo sé que fue eso.

Este año terminé de escribir mi novela, terminé el curso de francés y ya puedo hablarlo con facilidad, viajé, conocí gente nueva, leí muchos libros, conocí el amor en todas sus formas, desarrollé un gusto musical de oro, aclaré mi mente, salí del clóset con mis papás, conocí el mar, me alejé de la persona que más me lastimó en la vida. Parecen poquitas cosas, pero estoy orgullosa de todas y cada una de ellas.

Es extraño y difícil de explicar, pero siento que fue el mejor y el peor año de mi vida. Todavía no asimilo todo lo que pasó y que puedo decir que sigo acá. Talvez eso es lo que me pone feliz, es un sabor un tanto agridulce, pero me gusta.

Estoy llorando mientras escribo esto, si me decían que yo iba a llegar a fin de año probablemente no les hubiese creído. Me alegra, sinceramente, haber sobrevivido un año más.

Sé que el 2023 va a ser mejor, porque estoy trabajando para que lo sea, y también porque lo siento así. Además, van a pasar muchas cosas que quería que pasen hace rato. Estoy trabajando las promesas conmigo misma, mi autoestima y mi forma de ver la vida.

Solo quería expresar la felicidad que sentía al saber que el año termina y yo sigo acá y mejor que nunca.

Yeah his on-field dislike is justified considering his poor tackling in particular🤣 I would’ve liked and expected to see a new 10 for the RWC, and thought that the Borthwick era might kickstart it, but I’m pretty sure it’ll be him there or playing 12 but dictating like he’s there🤣 although I really don’t rate Marcus Smith so can’t complain too much🤷‍♀️

There’s at least 8 players for me on the training squad that will probably feature at some point over the tournament but are past their best days. I get the whole ‘experience’ factor but for me that’s not a good enough reason to disregard obvious decline. Not to be negative but we aren’t winning this WC😅, maybe just touching the semi-finals. The best thing though is that nobody is expecting us to. I think it should be used as an opportunity to test the waters. Expose a young squad and find out their real weaknesses rather than squeeze the life out of the 30+ year olds. I’m not a fan of the short term solutions like throwing in an experienced player. I’d rather see Genge lifting the cup in 4 years knowing we’ve built something long-term.

Oh like Fin Smith ? I am not sure he is fit for that yet. . I rate Marcus lot as a person not as a player. He is superb also for visibility of Filipinos athletes and it is refreshing! I don't want to use his mix culture has a token saying that , he shouldn't be a marketing human sandwich but just it is so great to see some change and poc having access more and more to the top levels ♡

It would be good if we could manage some results ? I have zero expectations except watching my babe playing Chile and Samoa ?
