got miffed thinking about vespera's signature again, so decided to try and figure out some kind of writing system that looked similar but could. theoretically. maybe work

however. did it very informally and neglected to include r in the bank of sounds I was using. so I had to transcribe it vespewa

#kotlc #was more me messing around than anything so #do not have anything real solid #shannon clearly based it on english (7 letters in english 7 swirls) #so i was following that #so i've been like. taking the english phonetic pronunciation and equating that to the sounds I have at a 1:1 ratio? #of sounds to symbols in the elven alphabet? #but i don't have all the english sounds so i've been mushing some together #anyway #i now have an incredibly tedious writing system #or at least it feels that way because i have just created it #have not figured out ANYTHING but letters #well. and how to write a single word #for tense markers i'm wondering. just equate to english pronunciation? #or include markers unique to this system #but then that breaks following shannon's og idea #and becomes its own thing entirely #who knows #filled a page in my daybook that's all that matters #oh and it was fun #that too
