BAJARÖB NAADAM PRESENT: "SHIAWASE-O-MUKAERU"

In this Official Announcement for #BajarobNaadam, we present "Shiawase-O-Mukaeru" Ceremony! Celebrating this year's Naadam being held in the Ruby Sea. Similar to last year, we'll have games for people to participate and space for fellow Auri players to hang out! More info below~

Like last year, we'll have an opening flight and a closing flight. Characters who couldn't/doesn't have Yols are allowed to join the flight behind the Yol groups. Meanwhile, the end of flight will have us mount a Striped Ray or any aquatic steeds!

1st Game of The Ceremony! "Champions of Revelry" is an RP combat event, newbie RP friendly and open to veteran RPers as well! Will you win Susano's Favors or be strike down by his favored's thunder? 2nd Game of the Ceremony! "Hunters of The Ruby's Secret" is a Semi-RP Scavenger Hunt event! Work with your partner in solving the riddle and finding hints for what you need to win! 3rd Game of the Ceremony! "Tides of Shishui" is an RP racing game using your aquatic mount, friendly event for newbie RPer and open to veteran as well! Come race like the youths of Tamamizu and Sui-no-Sato! For those who cannot or couldn't join the Main Events, we also offer some side events to enjoy and win prizes from! Most are OOC and free for all to join on the spot! In the spirit of Sui-no-Sato, we're also including some events better suited to the Ruby Sea~ This year, we're trying something new; Cultural Vendor! Peddle your wares and help promote the culture of your Au Ra or check the vendors! OBON ODORI

August 19th @ 8PM EST - 12AM EST [Balmung] Doman Enclave

Together we remember and celebrate our ancestors and dearly departed on this, the night of the Obon Odori. Come together with friends, and loved ones for a night of remembrance, partaking in our open market, story telling, lantern construction, and ritual blessings before we send the lanterns down the river in a beautiful promenade as they lead our loved ones back to their resting place.

We start off with our opening ceremony after which you can enjoy local vendors and lantern construction. Once open market closes we will have honored guests sharing stories before the Bon dance begins. With lanterns in hand we head to the river to set them afloat and bid our ancestors goodbye until next time.

We are currently looking for storytellers, fortune tellers, vendors, including lantern construction.

Once a humble coffee shop nestled in the heart of a great free company, The Fireside was the go-to place for members of Firelight Trading Company looking for a bite to eat after a long mission. Realizing its potential as both a meeting place and a means of capital, its proprietor expanded the business throughout the various city-states of Eorzea until The Fireside became synonymous with coffee, company and great food; sourly needed after the anguish of The Final Days. Now, patrons old and new can gather to enjoy the hospitality and cozy atmosphere these avenues provide.

Welcome to The Fireside! This establishment was made to focus on the creation and fostering of late-night/oceanic roleplay. Though physically located in Balmung/Crystal's Shirogane, the Fireside's expansion into almost all the city-states creates a space where your character can walk in from almost anywhere, and our focus on a coffee-shop with a laid-back atmosphere encourages off-the-cuff, casual roleplay that can turn into more.

Come try Shroudrose’s specialty blends of tea! Enjoy a cup in our tearooms on the main floor and second floor (including our far eastern themed rooms), or purchase some loose-leaf to brew at home! You can always cozy up in our library to read or get some work done while you enjoy a cuppa. Snacks and treats will be available to compliment your tea.

This event is bi-weekly at 7:00 PM eastern time the first Monday and third Monday of each month (and fifth Monday, if applicable).

Just as in the spring we stop to celebrate the beauty of the blossoming trees and all they have to offer, so too in the fall do we stop to appreciate the beauty on the autumn season. Tsukimi is the tradition of celebrating the moon and all it's glory, we take the time to bask in the ending of the harvest season and gather for traditional celebrate and festival fare. Offerings, prayer, food, games, and many other festivities all celebrated under the beautiful autumn moon. 🍂

Kugane Night Market

Thursday March 7th

Twilight falls over Kugane and all is well, the streets emptying as the people make their way to their homes seeking the solace of their beds. This evening, however, is not like any other. A sweet smell hangs on the crisp night air and distant music draws you in like a siren's call. You turn the corner and there it is glittering in the darkness. Mesmerized, you make your way between the stalls, laughter echoing in your ears. You ask a passerby where you are and he hands you a mask, his smile wider than his face.

"Welcome," he says. "Welcome to the Kugane Night Market."

Ghosts and spirits, yokai and mortals, as well as those who seek the fantastic or uncanny, all find their way here to the patterned stalls of the Night Market. Whatever you may desire, you will find it here. Every desire has it's price and those who are not willing to pay will find the cost extracted in ways they may not expect. Learn well the rules of this eldritch occasion: mind your manners, wear a mask, and always be sure to be long gone before the market fades back from whence it came lest you find that curiosity too has it's cost.
