He reaches a hand out, his fingers sliding through my hair, thumb brushing against my temple. I shiver. Not from the cold.

"I could make you happy," he says.

I swallow. Hard.

"Yeah?" I ask. "Yeah," he says.

"Show me," I say.

Yes. Yes. Yes. I know. My brain couldn't help it. Both of my hyper fixations into one. If you're into light easy romance reads, I highly suggest it! I loved the non-linear format with all the articles in between. I literally could not stop reading the book.

All I know this morning when I woke Is I know something now Know something now I didn't before

Inspired by the novel 'The Soulmate Equation' by Christina Lauren

To say Lexi was bad at dating was an understatement. Tinder? Guys only wanted to hook up. Bumble? She wanted every date to buzz off 10 minutes into it. Never mind trying to meet a cute guy at a coffee shop in real life as she struggles to manage an internship and freelance writing job, all while trying to pay off school debt and expensive Los Angeles rent.

Cue her lifelong best friend Rue Bennett. At first, Lexi was worried Rue had relapsed again when she came home to their apartment with two scientific-looking test kits. She had ripped open the bags and began rambling on and on about her friends being partners in some new Genetic DNA matchmaking company that finds your soulmate. I mean, what's the worst that could happen? Yes, it sounded crazy but she read through the pamphlet 100 times and it actually made sense to Lexi scientifically. Plus the probability of finding your soulmate was 1 in 500,000,000.

What she didn't sign up for when she spit in that test tube was finding out that she had a 98.9% connection. The highest ever recorded.

That someone she had a 98.9% connection to? It was Fezco O'Neill. The only person she had ever hated with a passion because of what had happened with Rue in high school. Now out of the game after a brief stint in prison, Fezco was a multi-millionaire and one of the major partners in D-N-Attract. The tough part for Lexi? He wouldn't have put in so much money as a stakeholder if it wasn't something he believed in.

YES! I'm back from touching the grass, catching up on reading novels that aren't Fexi fanfics, and dealing with all the things that pop up in real life. 😅 I admit while I was reading this novel, all I could think about was how it would be a fucking amazing Fexi fanfic. PLEASE! I'm begging any Fexi writers out there. Also thank you T. Swift and Ed Sheeran for making the perfect song for this idea.
