Hey, did yall know I made a game?

Paradox Lost is a planned 12 volume sequel to Friendsim on a new Alternian colony with 12 new trolls to befriend based on the eastern zodiac! Once friends, they've drifted apart after a tragedy, and only you can help bring them back together in time to prevent disaster!

The first volume is already out. Volume 2 is 99% done and stuck in limbo at the moment because I've been too broke to commission the music for it, but hopefully that'll happen before too long, and in the meantime I've already started volume 3!

You know, I feel like a lot of Fansims seriously underestimate how powerful the Reader should logically be after the end of Pesterquest.

Like, their actions were literally destabilizing and destroying all of Paradox Space. Reality literally blinks out if existence if you refuse to fix it and even Ultimate Dirk gets concerned about things. In order to stop it, they absorb the entire Green Sun and manage to foribly stabilize a doomed timeline without destroying the rest of reality. That's honestly a Lord English level feat right there.

I'm not buying that Doc Scratch should be able to beat them to death with a crowbar (JuJu or not) is my point. Much less that any regular troll on Alternia should be capable of as much as scratching them.

Although, it'd be kinda hard to write around that level of OP to be fair... and most of these fansims aren't finished yet, so it's possible they'll eventually explain it.

How Would YOU Like to Read Fanfic About YOUR OC's? That YOU Didn't Have to Write?!

Want nice character profiles for your character select page but don't want to write them? Want to immortalize a really cool scene from a DND game in prose? Have elaborate worldbuilding ideas for your custom setting you want organized into something readable? Have an amazing idea for a fic but don't have the time/energy/skill to write it? I'm your guy!

My rates are $.03 a word.

For reference, a good fic chapter would be about 1500 to 2000 words, so about $45 to $60. A character profile or backstory might be around 300 to 500 words, or $9 to $15. For long works, such as multi chapter fics, I'll write an outline first which is paid for separately.

Work under 1000 words can generally be delivered same-day, or within the week if I'm busy, with allowance for needing to go back and forth with you discussing details. Full chapters may take a week to two weeks depending on my work schedule.

"What if I don't know word count/how long something will be?"

I'll work with you to help you come to a rough estimate of what the word count should be, no worries!

*I'm fine writing about underaged characters in age-appropriate romantic scenarios, ie teens dating or children with crushes, though I will obviously not write NSFW with minors.

**Steamy romance is fine, but I prefer to fade to black before things cross into explicit territory. This is because NSFW is more difficult and time consuming for me. HOWEVER, I am more than capable of writing smut, so if you really want a nsfw scene I'm open to discuss it, with an upcharge and the understanding that it will take longer.

I reserve the right to refuse any work I'm not personally comfortable with. I will fully refund previously paid for work that I've determined I can't complete, and partially refund work the client withdraws after writing has already begun. I prefer to be paid ahead of starting the work, but I'm fine with payment in installments for larger projects. I take paypal and cashapp.

finally complete! it's a shorter one relative to the human routes, but that's sort of by design. all of the trolls are going to have a more densely interconnected story, vs several larger standalone episodes. gonna be real fun.

I think a cool compromise would've been that the ancestors started off as these shadowed, grizzled caricatures, and then as you learn more about them as actual people, the art style would change to something more in line with Pesterquest!

As you've said before though, they should still be consistent about the trolls more animalistic features--if they choose to give them those or not.

I'd also recommend them to fix the outfits too. Some of the ancestors stick to their canon look, while others like the Dolorosa, Mindfang, and Dualscar greatly depart from it. They should either stick solely to their canon appearances, or have everyone get a style change over the course of the story. Otherwise, none of them look like they're living in the same time period as the others, which is SUPER distracting and immersion-breaking for your readers!

That would be actually interesting transition for the ancestors. Would play off as mysterious beings and you reveal them as themselves after becoming friends with them. I can understand Mindfang and Dualscar's looks for pirate mariner nautical theme. The Psiionic going to be the future battery is another that is close to what he wears. Darkleer, Redglare, and Summoner being close to what they wear for canon. Though ones like The Disciple and Grand Highblood having a more modern clashes with everyone. And Dolorosa having a hijba to be interpreted as a Muslim woman and not something like a Virigin Mary, makes no sense either. But I can see what you mean that it looks like some of the trolls came from different time periods based on what they wear. I would make more sense if they used the blood colors to determine how they look. Like the lower a person is on the hemospectrum, the poorer they look and the higher you are, the more fashionable you appear because your high rich status lets you afford better looking clothes.
