Spring 1300

Dear Mother,

My journey to the island with Aleyn and his family has been a success. The lighting on our new plot of land makes the necklace Aleyn gave me as dowry shine so beautifully. We've started to work on building our home. Tomorrow, Aleyn and I will visit the local market to purchase some animals for the farm.

Though it is spring, snow is still falling here. I'd be lying if I said I wasn't a little nervous about the cold affecting our settling in. I haven't voiced my concerns to Aleyn as I don't want him to worry. However, I have noticed his parents seem to have some anxieties.

I know soon it will be time to start trying for a baby. There is something I'm nervous for! I wish so badly to be a good mother. Were you nervous before you had me?

I know you're only a boat's ride away, but now that I'm here it feels like forever. I already miss you. Hopefully, this will reach you soon.

Here's a look at my upcoming bachelor challenge gameplay using 21 (mostly) single female townies! yes i am a gay man but in my defense i thought it would be fun. I'll be using club features to make sure it is as over the top as possible, I want this to feel like hyper-dramaticized reality tv. 🧍

Gen 10 of my rainbow legacy is complete! ~ﾟ+*

I've grown quite fond of this family so it's sad to see them go :') but there are different stories to tell and experience!

i'll be making some kind of summary/farewell/wrap-up post in the next few days so they get a proper send-off. and I'm not getting rid of this save so maybe I'll play them again some day

On episode 1 of...

the Most Eligible Bachelor in Tartosa...

For our first day in paradise, we had Guy introduce himself to all of the contestants.

Things were going great until he met Nina and was very attracted to her, but she did not return his affection. He spent the rest of the introductions with a sad moodlet. Immediately confirming the little loser allegations <3

After introductions I added everyone into their house clubs and took note of Guy's attraction levels + first impressions to help decide who would be going home first.

House 1 Liberty Lee - rather charming, imaginative Summer Holiday - very charming, fun to be around (& summer has a crush!) Nighat Caliente - neutral chemistry, clingy Dina Caliente - very charming, responsible Nina Caliente - very charming, clingy Zoe Patel - neutral chemistry, interesting sim Maaike Haas - rather charmless, in dreamland

House 2 Mila Munch - rather charmless, reasonable Eva Capricciosa - neutral chemistry, shallow Jade Rosa - rather charming, fun to be around Geeta Rasoya - very charming, responsible (& geeta has a crush!) Penny PIzzazz - very charming, clingy Miko Ojo - rather charming, reasonable (& miko has a crush!) Catarina Lynx - neutral chemistry, in dreamland (& catarina has a crush!)

House 3 Francine Spencer - rather charming, responsible Bess Sterling - rather charming, reasonable Cecilia Kang - rather charming, strong-minded (& ceclilia has a crush!) Arnessa Thebe - rather charming, in dreamland Rahmi Watson - rather charming, responsible Hilary Laurent - neutral chemistry, responsible Lucia Markovic - very charming, fun to be around (& lucia has a crush!)

(a common theme i noticed was a lot of contestants found Guy arrogant, which makes sense tbh)

After introductions I had Guy have a meal with each house (breakfast, lunch, and dinner respectfully) to get to know everyone a little bit better. At this point club encouraged activities had been activated and we've already had four physical fights in just the first day.

Penny & Jade Cecilia & Rhami Lucia & Francine Arnessa & Francine (it seems as if francine is especially prone to fighting)

But once it reached the end of the day it was time for the first set of eliminations. I based these off of chemistry, first impressions, and how well guy got along with them (i made sure he had at least one conversation with all of them one on one to make sure everyone had a fair chance.) In the end Guy decided to send home Maaike, Mila, and Arnessa. He didn't have a negative relationship with any of them, there just wasn't that spark. (The only person he has a negative relationship with right now is Nina at -5.)

On this episode of the Most Eligible Bachelor in Tartosa...

We'll introduce the characters!

This challenge is made up of 3 groups (or houses) of 7 bachelorettes making 21 bachelorettes in total. Each house in in a club which encourages being romantic with the bachelor and being mean to their house mates. The members of each house are as follows.

House 1 notes: - Liberty Lee and Summer Holiday are good friends and romantic interests. - The Calientes all have the friend relationship together, the sisters is slightly lower with each other than with their mom. - Katrina Caliente has been renamed to Nighat Caliente to reflect her name in earlier games.

House 2 - Eva Capricciosa and Jade Rosa have the friends relationship.

House 3 - A few of these sims already have romantic relationships in-game canonically. This has not been altered.

And then, the bachelor himself!

Guy McMannsly is inspired/based off of hyper-buff sims I've seen people play with but never really made myself and I thought it would be fun. He's just your average Conventionally Attractive guy. Thats his character.

Guy has the serial romantic aspiration and is self-assured, ambitious, and a perfectionist. He likes classical, DJ booth, and romance music, cooking, fitness, and wellness, and dislikes the color yellow. His pronouns are he/him/his.

I'll be following the traditional bachelor challenge rules with minimal changes to make it more enjoyable, but nothing too dramatic. The lot I'm using is Mansão em Tartosa by marciiiosousa on the gallery with a few additional items (extra beds and activities for the contestants to do).

PAQ (probably asked questions) - Where is (insert sim)?: part of my reason for doing this gameplay is i have a collection of the same few townies my sims are always romacning and i wanted to step out of my bubble. not all of my sims can marry lilith vatore and i need to accept that 😔 it's also possible that the townie you're thinking of is from a pack that i dont have. - Why aren't all of them single?: not all of the premade townies are happily married, and i thougt it would be fun to include some of them for extra drama. also i prioritized tartosa townies to stay on theme.

I can't really give you a timeline of when these posts will come out because I'm a college student and I'm really just doing this for fun/at my own leisure. Summer 1307

Dear Mother,

Alaric recently celebrated his first birthday and our family is feeling so blessed. For the seven children we've had we've lost all but three in infancy. Though we haven't had only hardships. The twins have sustained health and the farm has proven fruitful. We've been able to make many additions to our home. Recently, even queen Landgrab visited. She was just stopping by to everyone in this part of the village, but it was still wonderful to feel famous for a day.

Along with our children, Aleyn and I have had our own struggles with health respectively. He used to hunt regularly, but after he barley survived a bear attack we now buy most of our meat from the market. A few of my pregnancies have brought me close with death. I feel very lucky to still be here to mother my children.

Money is fairly comfortable. If you ever need assistance don't hesitate to reach out, we have had enough lately to keep it stored.
