Think about it, they're both generally cheerful, both firmly rooted in their scientific beliefs, stubborn enough about said beliefs to actively damage their relationships with people in their lives who believe differently(Jekyll & Dib(obvs to VERY different extents)), ultimately WRONG in said beliefs, even if they don't know it yet, and they both, uh, use guns?
