We did it last year too.
Izumi
I had a feeling everyone would catch on. We will also be hosting the Valentine’s Day exclusive Actor’s Cafe this year too.

Actor’s Cafe?

Yea the actor’s Cafe is well, I guess you could call just a theme cafe!
Homare
The staff are all actors that rotate each day serving customers.
Tenma
During last year’s during the event, we performed in a segment called “Theatre Time” where we performed an etude with a given scenario .
Itaru
Honestly that was the only unreasonable part of the job....
Omi
Oh, I got the feeling that it helped us train our acting skills.
Muku
That’s right..! Even though it was a little rough at times, it was fun just being together.
Kumon
Wow~! That does sound pretty fun! Did the whole troupe do it?
Juza
Yea. Last year everyone had to work a shift.
Kazunari
Yea, it was a pretty exciting Valentine’s Day. Even on SNS, people wouldn’t stop talking about it~!
Taichi
Wow I’m feeling nostalgic~! The theme for last year’s event was ‘family’ and we each played a role of one of six brothers as we served the customers.
Izumi
That’s right! However last year they announced the theme the day of, but this year they gave us the theme ahead of time.
Azuma
Oh, yes that is different from how they did it last year.
Tsuzuru
Well knowing the theme beforehand gives us time to think about who will be working when and such, bless us.
Izumi

Glasses hmm.. But I think it shouldn’t be too hard to pick people who fit the theme, right?

So then, we’re all set with the following people to work on the glasses theme day. We have Chikage and Sakyo since they already wear glasses every day, and then--
We have the ones who raised their hands before, let’s see, Kazunari, Tsumugi, Itaru, and Homare.
Taichi
I really had no idea that anyone besides Sakyo-nii and Chikage had bad eyesight.
Homare
It’s because we usually wear contacts.
Muku
Just thinking about the others wearing glasses..... Somehow it feels like something straight out of a shoujo manga, it’s giving me tummy butterflies!
Tsuzuru
I wonder if your eyesight is really that bad, Chikage....
Chikage
Haha, oh I wonder.
Kazunari
Hey, do you think we will be alright with just including the members with bad eyesight?
I remember it was mega crazy when I lost my glasses that one time! That shit was wild! We could do something kinda like that for the cafe, right?

There is no way we would do something like that.

Oh, do you think we should add in one person who has good eyesight? Just to be completely sure we will have enough people...

So we will have the members in glasses that I mentioned earlier along with Hsioka, which makes for a total of seven people. Thank you everyone.

Wow the glasses theme day isn’t too far away. It’s the first theme we will be doing, but it’s the only one we haven’t nailed down any roles for.
Izumi
You’re right. The owner had requested to meet with everyone before the first day of the cafe to prepare.
Hisoka
.... How did I suddenly get thrown into this theme....?
Homare
I already explained it to your earlier with marshmallows, remember?
Chikage
Too bad you were sleeping.
Sakyo
Anyway, there are many things we can do for valentines day that involve glasses.
It is not just about wearing glasses. We also must consider what type of character we want to become, we should think about it.

Well.... Sorry for keeping you. It was just about the Actor’s Cafe--
It’s a Valentine’s event so I think there is probably going to be a lot of female guests there.

Alright then, thank you so much for your time to make these advanced preparations. Here are the members who will be working on the first day.
Tsumugi
Thank you very much.
Owner
No, I am the one who should be thankful. I am so happy to be able to have Mankai company work at this cafe again this year.
Izumi
Oh, and I want to apologise in advanced. Unfortunately due to everyone’s schedule, it seems like only a few people will be available each day.
Owner
That’s alright, no need to worry.
Izumi
Well, we didn’t think we would get the themes in advanced this year.
Owner
Ahh.... Yea, well you see...
The reason for that is... Actually, I can’t let the cafe fail.
Homare
What do you mean you can’t let the cafe fail?
Owner
Well... I guess I should tell you all now.
Ever since that new cafe opened across the street, we’ve been losing customers over here. It’s been pretty tough on management.
I even had to take out loans for rent... They said if I couldn’t pay it all back I would be evicted.
Kazunari
Ohhh....
Itaru
Hey, where have I heard that before?
Izumi
Now that you mention it....
Sakyo
What’s with you guys. If there is something you wanna say, spit it out.
Izumi
N-No, nothing at all.
Owner
I don’t want to be evicted so that’s why this year’s Actor’s Cafe needs to be a success.
So that’s why I gave you the themes ahead of time. It was because I hoped with more time you could polish your performance.
It was so you guys could deliver your best work, it’s not because I had any doubts in your ability, don’t get me wrong.
Tsumugi
We understand. It does help us quite a bit with our role study if we know the themes beforehand.
Sakyo
Back to the previous subject, what type of place is this rival restaurant?
Owner
Well.... It’s actually a copy-cat of this one it seems. That restaurant also has actors working as floor staff.
Izumi
HUH!? FOR REAL!?
Chikage
Well knowing about the huge success from last year’s cafe, it is no surprise that a copy-cat cafe has sprung up.
Owner
Moreover, I thought this cafe would have an upper hand if the actors at the other cafe were not as good at fanservice or acting, but their performance is quite a hit with customers.
I hear that people even call it the ‘Kabe-don Cafe” because the staff really appeal to their female customers with their kabe-don act.
Hisoka

Seems like a hit with young girls.
Owner
I don’t want to give up my dreams for this cafe! That’s why I am counting on you guys, I need to pay back the loans!
Kazunari

We have been working at this cafe so many times, there is nothing like it.
