Oh good, Texas Republicans have yet again proven that if the bar is set into the floor they will show up with a jackhammer to make sure they can go under it no matter how much structural damage that causes to Democracy.

#I usually want to punch at least four of them in the face at any given time #but today I also want to hit Patrick with a car #most of them are SO SCUMMY it is SO GROSS #my dad and I were talking about it the other night and it's probably way worse than it looks too #like the bribes Paxton was taking were in no way sufficient to buy what he was doing #that was chump change #which means there's more of it somewhere else #also some of the things he mentioned Nate Paul doing sound like the money he has is Not Legit #like I don't know if it's Major Crime or Actual Treason but he sounds like he's much worse than just a small-time scumbag with money #and mind you my dad is pretty conservative and still regularly votes Republican and HE thinks this fails the smell test #ugh #I hate the politics in this state #it's not even representative we're just so fucking gerymandered that the Republicans get WHOEVER THEY RUN #even when that means 'actual noted scumbag adulterer and criminal Ken Paxton' #babble tea (blacklist this for less chatter) #us politics #texas politics
