me when it's nearly 4am and i need to sleep but i'm thinking about the essay that lives in my head about how sunny shifted with the gang goes to hell

#and im sure this can be traced earlier but i havent gotten that far properly on my rewatch #esp the string of s11-15 season finales.... #usually give more space for criticism with the later seasons but i LOVE the blend between emotional development/depth and comedy #not that this wasn't present in earlier episodes and seasons #i just think the way its navigated and the way it builds to these moments is different now #but i cant elaborate on that yet til i finish my chronological rewatch hehe #its VERY interesting to me from a writers pov though #again i have my criticisms about quite a few of the later episodes but. i think overall the show is still well written #esp s15 and the ireland stuff
