I have this headcanons that the reason Ron doesn't have Glenn turn in to a dog in Ep 61 - Death of a Salesman is that Glenn reminds him of the guys that would stand up to Willy when he was growing up.

Be it just trying to fight him or whatever to times that Willy probably had Ron wait outside of establishments that were 21+ and guys like Glenn would keep him company cause who the fuck goes in and leaves their child outside. One of them probably taught Ron how to tie his shoes or something then once Willy came outside got in Willy's face for being so neglectful.
