Exciting news! I'm now part of the EA "Support-a-Creator" Program!

That means that if you use my special code - CHRISSIE - when purchasing any Sims 4 pack/kit through the EA App/Origin, I'll receive a small percentage of the sale!

It unfortunately doesn't give you a discount, but it's an amazing way of supporting me & the channel without any extra cost to you!

It works on any existing packs or bundles (excluding the "create your own bundle") for The Sims 4! It will give you the option to "Apply a code" during the checkout process on the EA App or through the Sims website which is where you'd enter mine!

I don't have a lot of confidence in my art, but Roosterteeth and Achievement Hunter was one of the few things back in the day that got me to sit down & draw. hi there beautiful people, since the youtube videos i've watch lately and tumblr posts ive gone through to teach me about ea unlocker and the sims 4 dlc updater is hella confusing - i've decided to come on here and tell you...

EA UNLOCKER AND TS4 DLC UPDATER FOR DUMB FUCKS

don't worry, i'm not calling you 'dumb fucks'. it sounds better than dummies, in my humble opinion.

first of all, i would like to send appreciate to @clowwntown for the one to first introduction me into free dlc on sims 4 <3 thank u!

let's start from the very beginning, first... open your laptop and prepare to be sitting here for a while. get a snack maybe, but let's start by opening the first link down below. that is the link to my download of the ea dlc unlocker and ts4 dlc updater.

when you extract the two folders from the zip file (i suggest 7zip), it should look like this.

first go to the ea unlocker, all these steps are important. yet again, this should be in order as if you don't have this enabled first - you won't get any dlc.

click on the setup and enable it, with some pcs and laptops - they could have it blocked. if so, go to the bottom and enable it. there will be a rectangle pop up!

press [1] as you need to install the ea dlc unlocker - then press [2] and you will be met with this pop up!

depending on the game you are playing or wanting the dlc from, press [1] or [2]

and you are all done with the ea dlc unlocker! now to the ts4 dlc updater!

how we doing? good? okay, let's get going to opening the sims 4 dlc updater!

it should look like this, go to the [sims-4-updater-v1.2.3] and it should look like this.

click on [update] on the program, and you will be met with the multiple dlc packs from ts4 - you can download as many as you want.

Lmaoooo it was insane! I know cc ain’t easy to make. It takes a good amount of work. Especially to make stuff that looks nice, but some of the early access time periods are wild. That reminds me of like counting down for concerts. You buy your ticket in the winter and the show ain’t until the summer time. 😭

#the thing is I don’t really mind paywalls too much either #I like supporting the creator and I blame EA for leaving such a large gap in the community that creating content for it can even be a job #the game IS lacking and I wouldn’t play it at all without cc #but still… DAMN lmao #gotta wait for ea to put out stuff and charge us for it #gotta wait or pay creators to get content #we just be waiting and waiting #asks #text post

"So I don't want to address this but we're here now. Look, since the beginning of my career, there's always been someone who's made me feel like I didn't deserve the opportunity I got. From Assassin's Creed to Raised by Wolves, you know, I've had to ignore people saying that it wasn't the work that got me the opportunity. No, it was simply because I'm black and I've turned my other check and just kept doing my thing. Even when people were saying "Oh the only reason he's been cast as Father in Raised by Wolves is because the character is a service model. Some of these comments, you know, a few of them, I can brush off. But when there's a constant barrage of them, it's exhausting.

So when I look at ZAU, it's reached this fever pitch. But look, don't got me wrong, there's been so much amazing and beautiful support for this game. The fact that its inspired so many people and touched, you know, so many lives, it was one of our goals from the outset - to have this positive impact, right? But at the same time, we're being faced with constant targeted harassment. From people who see diversity as a threat. From people who look across the vast landscape of modern media and decide that anything that doesn't speak to them or certain around them is unnecessary and unauthentic. And look, there's always a reason why diverse stories can't exist. You know, it's always either we're doing it the wrong way or it's just there to tick boxes and it's just beginning to feel like there' is no right way. You know these exclusionary rules continue to stack up and these goalposts continue to shift until you know me, my studio, people who look like us, sit down, be quiet and accept that you're outsiders. But I won't do that.

So look - if there are people who aren't like you in a game, I want you to know that game is still for you. You know, if the characters are a different race or a different gender or you know, a different ideology or different perspective, that doesn't mean the game isn't for you. It can still be for you. You know, it's an opportunity to live in rich new worlds, to explore different perspectives, to explore different cultures and all the while, you're playing a decent game. These games are opportunities to experience something different, something new, you just need to be open to it. Games are a medium unlike any other and you know, in all aspects, they have this potential to have this profound impact, not only on the people who make them but who play them. I really believe that games are on everyone. That's why I insisted on setting ZAU's cost at the price of a pizza.

So, look, I'm going to put my money where my mouth is. Starting today on Switch, shoutout to Nintendo for acting fast on this, I'm lowering that bar of entry further by dropping the price of ZAU to less than 15 dollars. Now, I genuinely believe in the power that games have, they can bring us close together. Now, I believe this is just one way that I can show you how serious I am about this. Games are for everyone. Diverse games, they're not about taking something away from you. They're about adding something new because there's room for all of us. I'm working with the team in bringing this discount to all platforms and it's gonna start from now to till the end of June because, you know, it just means so much to me, man.

And look, let me take this opportunity as well to actually speak to the developers out there that have actually dedicated themselves to making games that speak to different audiences and tell personal stories that uplift the marginalized and underrepresented. Your work is so important, so important today. Whether you realize it or not, you are actually setting an example for the next generation of developers, of creators, of artists, just take that in. The wonderful Ly family in Willow Creek was lovingly created for the save by @cowplant-snacks. All other neighbors were made by me, you can meet all of them here! Pets are from Pugowned, misc. townies from @cowplant-snacks and @simsontherope on the gallery.

The save is 100% CC free! Please note that I do have all expansions, packs, and kits (except for Castle Estate, Goth Galore + Crystal Creations.) For any items you don't own the game will try to auto find replacements for those items. The file is mostly blank this time around but does include the original EA builds in university and vacation type worlds (sans Granite Falls.)

Included is a folder of completely optional skin details/eyelashes for the neighbor sims. Thank you to @faaeish, @pyxiidis, @tamo-sim, and @landgraabbed! There are 4 pieces of CC I cannot include in the folder due to creator TOU. Please check the included "Read Me" file for more information.

All builds and families are up on the gallery (@sweetbeagaming) + tray files have been shared here.

If you've never used a save file and need help installing it, I highly recommend this tutorial by @leeleebsimming.

⚠️ A couple of disclaimers here due to some existing EA bugs. EDIT 4/25: Included in that link are directions on how to avoid TOOL'd items from disappearing. If you want to keep powerlines and such please check this out! ⚠️

Everything was tested to work around these, but I wanted to put them out there as an FYI.

TOU: Please don't reupload my save/builds/sims, claim as your own, and absolutely do not paywall them. Other than that feel free to build your own Neighborhood stories however you'd like!

100 Followers! It might not seem like a lot, but I'm so thankful for all the support I've been getting here 🤍

This sim has been sitting in my library for almost a year now, and while I was planning on using her for a new series on my youtube channel, I just don't see that happening any time soon. My work schedule is a lot, and it's rare that I get a day, where not only I'm feeling cheery to record, but where I also have enough time for it... Being an adult sucks, you literally stop having a life. All I do is work, sleep, eat, and dread the next day.

But maybe I can make the series here, as I just came back to tumblr, and it's easier to post screenshots. This is not for now though! I need at least half a generation done before I start posting 😅

Her outfits are very blue, because she's for a color coded legacy challenge that I made last year, but still haven't posted it. I wanted to share it whenever I started the series, but again, time. There's not enough time in this life. I won't share the Tray Files (I might at some point though)!

love how, EA, The Sims, is literally selling permanently paywalled mods and you guys are upset some Guy can still make you pay 5 bucks a month for early access. Half of The Sims fanbase Needs mods/cc to play and yet there punishing those who Make there game Playable for wanting to make money from there hard work.

i want to thank those of you who follow me on here and my channel for using my creator code. please, i do not want you to buy packs for the sake of it and if you do, please buy them when they're on sale lol. i've seen an enormous amount of support with my code usage. people think because you are a youtuber you are rich. they think because you are in the creator network ea pays you. both are lies (unless you're doing a sponsored deliverable) lol. it doesn't quite work like that and i'm still very much in the struggling middle class. it's been hard finding that line between a simple, passionate creator and this being my career. this is my career and although i benefit from your purchase, i do not want to sound gross or annoying about it like "hey simmers use my code that unfortunatley does not give you a discount but helps support me" .

this would not be possible without my viewers and without my support system. i will never take it for granted. i wish i could individually thank each and every one of you. i'm overwhlemed and humbled with the immense amount of love i recieve from you all, almost daily. i remember your icons, and when is see you pop up in my comments or socials - i'm excited to see you.

And here we are again… kit “add-ons” being put behind a paywall for 3 weeks.

Just because you recoloured or tweaked meshes a little bit DOES NOT give you the right to paywall these items.

I’ve also realized that people are doing this more and more. Editing EA meshes the slightest bit, calling them their own and then putting them up for early access.

There are SO many creators that make original meshes, put lots of time and effort into making ORIGINAL content and are not charging people for it. I am all for making money off of your work, but so many creators are blinded by it.

People will support you if they want to. If you deserve it, it will happen, i promise.

I’m so tired. I’m tired of having the same conversations.
