A couple years ago I made a tweet about how Samus was transgender and it blew up for some fucking reason. Anyway, as with all big tweets involving trans people, a bunch of people came in with reasons why Samus couldn’t possibly be transgender, none of them really made sense, but the only one I couldn’t outright refute was that we see her as a young girl in the manga apparently.

Anyway, so I’m playing through Metroid Zero Mission and I just finished the zero suit Samus section, which ends with a flashback to when child Samus lives with the Chozo. Right there in the official game I was being shown what young Samus looked like. Do you want to see the “Samus as a young girl that is irrefutable proof she cannot possibly be transgender”?

so i've had this in mind for a little while. to connect the theme of an earlier headcanon i have where for my version of miguel, he already experiences a reduction in appetite - and now this is another part of it! not only would this happen, but he'd skew more towards a carnivorous diet, maybe something like 80%? 90%? it's enough that he'd leave sides and vegetables on plates, decline offers of fruit -- with added potential implications surrounding scents too but hmm, i'll need to cook on that some more, first!

one of the potentially... few? upsides? to this, especially in the early going, was how it helped him to adjust to his fangs and develop a new way of eating, gripping and tearing off small pieces before swallowing. wouldn't really chew his food as much anymore! may also, eventually, come to mean that some of his other teeth evolve as well, as he continues to adapt.

in short, make sure to give your local spidery guy some meat when chastising him for not eating! .... which happens quite a bit. 💀

Barstow Jane Doe (2010)

On February 10, 2010 the head of an unidentified female was found in a backpack located along Lenwood Road, west of the I-15 Freeway in Barstow, California.

The female is estimated to be 14 to 19 years old. She had dark brown hair that was approximately shoulder length and both ears were pierced once.

Evidently, her face was in "very poor condition" as a result of being intentionally mutilated by the person who dismembered her body. The nature of these injuries is not known, but apparently, they were so extensive that members of law enforcement have said that the facial reconstructions may be unreliable due to the fact that her face was "destroyed". Authorities believe that she may have fallen victim to a serial killer.

DNA testing has confirmed she has Hispanic ancestry and she has distant relatives in Mexico. Authorities encourage anyone, specifically from the southwest region of the United States to test at FTDNA. If anyone has already tested at another ancestry company they too can help by uploading their raw DNA results into FTDNA and GEDmatch for no additional fees.
