  a    timid    chuckle    escaped    through    the    blond’s    lips.    a    slight    shake    of    head    as    philippe    pondered    if    he    should    make    up    a    story    to    seem    cool    enough,    or    if    it’d    be    better    to    just    tell    alex    the    truth.    the    latter    seemed    to    be    the    most    reasonable    choice    and    won    over    the    other.    ❝    both    things    sound    really    cool.    amazing,    even.    ❞    there    was    a    light    shrug    as    he    attempted    to    focus    on    his    sketch    for    a    moment,    black    lead    nervously    scratching    against    the    paper    while    he    avoided    making    eye    contact.    philippe    knew    that    if    he    stared    at    alex    for    too,    he’d    awkwardly    blush    and    give    away    how    attractive    he    thought    he    was.    ❝    i’ve    never    been    on    a    date    before.    nor    have    i    ever    been    that    close    to    anybody    …    not    even    with        a    friend.    cool    boys    in    bands    are    the    ones    who    get    the    hot    boyfriends    and    the    cute    girls    like    clara    parker    to    hang    out    with.    i’m    just    an    artsy    nerd.    ❞

why do you hurt?

you swallow pain & fold around it 

you have always hurt. you hold it carefully, and twisted in such a way that other people don't have to see it. you don't choke on it. you don't drown. you just have it, the way some people have freckles, this is a thing that lives in your bones. you fold instead of fighting because you know how to make yourself small, tuck away the places where they have clawed at, swallow the bruises so you seem clean. nobody needs to see it. you will live through this on your own. you know what you need, and relief isn't it. this doesn't mean you cannot reach out - it means it is not in your nature to do so. you should. hiding does not mean you won't be seen.

𝙸𝚃 𝙵𝙴𝙴𝙻𝚂 𝙻𝙸𝙺𝙴 𝙰 𝚁𝙾𝙼-𝙲𝙾𝙼.

okay, you're pretty cheesy. you love big romantic gestures, and dramatic confessions of love. but you also love the little moments, like going grocery shopping together. to put it simply, you love love. you have such a big heart, and it overflows with affection - not just romance, either. you make everyone you talk to feel loved. you're quite the optimist, and believing in true love and soulmates and forever. you're probably a little insecure, but i promise you are beautiful, inside and out, as cliche as that sounds. i hope you know that.
