The fact is Bakura and Kaiba are both very similar people. Both are boys who had been deeply scarred by the world, and especially by people in positions of power, and have fought to amass power of their own to become stronger and stronger, so that they are not hurt by the world again and dole out their own brand of come uppance on anyone that stops them. They are not afraid to manipulate things to get the upper hand in a fight and play everything incredibly strategically. They both are desperate to prove said strength, get revenge on those that wronged them / defeated them, and are both self destructive beings. In this essay I will --
