it fascinates me that in Abrahamic belief, G-d didn’t bestow advanced intellect/empathy upon the human race like a torch-bearing Prometheus - there was a halfhearted but present attempt to PREVENT humans from eating the fruit of knowledge of good and evil?? just a little nudge like, by the way…. being like animals? not so bad actually. but The Knowledge… yeah, that’ll get ya. take it from me, kid. sucks shit to know shit……. anyway i know you’re one of the most curious and prehensile, fruit-loving creatures i’ve ever created but only eat from this tree, not the one right next to it. that one’s for me. better fruit. who said that
