Hello! I love your blog and all the information you provide. <3 Purely visually, which Franz Joseph do you like better? Philip or Jannik? And which Sisi?

Hello! Thank you so much!!! I'm glad you love my blog.

Going only by visuals, Philip Froissant, although to be honest neither of them completely convinces me. Philip has dark eyes, while Franz Josef had blue eyes, and his nose is more pointy (you can't see it in this photo sorry I couldn't find one better), but if you ignore that then I can kinda see a resemblance? Meanwhile Jannik Schümann has blue eyes but the shape of his face and nose are completely different to Franz Josef's. Also the make up department gave him dark eye bags for some reason? (as someone with permanent dark eye bags I do not feel represented by this lol)

Also both of them have too much hair, the real man's hairline was already receding by his mid twenties (sorry FJ).

With the Sisis is harder for me to choose, since I feel that Devrim and Dominique could easily play sisters with how similar they look to each other. Which shows you the problem with casting a woman that was considered one of the most beautiful of her time: show producers prefer to cast a woman that looks beautiful by today standards than to cast a woman that resemblance Elisabeth.

Both actresses have blue eyes, while Elisabeth had brown eyes. Both have high cheekbones, while Elisabeth didn't. Even the shape of their faces is almost the same (and nothing like the empress'). Since I have to choose I say Dominique, but only because I think her nose looks a bit more similar to Elisabeth's than Devrim's. Also RTL Sisi's wigs are infinitely superior.

honestly, even as someone who doesn't know much about austrian and hungarian history i understand how historically inaccurate the show is. nevermind that, i still love it and love how it got me more interested in european history. honestly, there is something about a powerful couple who solves international conflicts
