Got a shelf to extend the doll set up so that the collection is less cramped.

The doll family sure has grown over the past few years! My DZ Dale got sold as she was too small for me (and her flopping was driving me insane...)

Expensive Month and a half eeesh!

This month and a half has been so expensive BJD wise! What with Dollzone and Doll Chateau discontinuing sculpts, Flower&Junior bringing some sculpts back for a limited time and DIM closing shop after this month.

I’ve got DC Faramita in WS, F&J Mizi.w and Char heads, and from DIM - Jullis and Benetia heads in NS, Larina head in WS and a Miru NS head from a Group Order since the head wasn’t available on its own. I was tempted to get a Flowne human head but I already have three of the elf versions (two NS and one WS) and I prefer the elf version.

That and I’m considering getting another B45-009 body from Dollzone to either replace the one I have that’s in their older pink skin or to keep both and it can go to one of the DIM heads OR get it in WS for my Yabi, which leads to me the last purchase of getting F&J Yabi and Abi as well ergh.

May need to sell a kidney.

so hiya I’m not going to lie, I feel fairly convinced that doll folks have abandoned tumblr, but it’s actually one of my preferred platforms for bjd stuff. if anyone is still using this, helloooo, I’m going to start using tumblr again for my doll stuff - I also have instagram and flickr, but with my sad little adhd brain I’m only going to remember to use some websites, lol. it was funny seeing how my tastes have changed!! Doll family picture time, took out one doll then another and then I was like well lets get them all out for a picture XD Took pics with my new phone.

Names of dolls and their sculpts under the read more:

top pic: left to right

Lotto: Angel of Dream SD unknown sculpt, second hand gift from my girlfriend who won him in a lotto giveaway. She gave him that very ‘original’ name and it stuck. XD

Nova: Doll Chateau Ada event doll, bought from alicecollections when they got her in stock and I snatched her up.

Asteri: Freakstyle bjd Persephone, won her in a giveaway >w< I was shocked oi won this very lovely doll. Gave her a pirate look cause that was the only thing that fit her. Named her Asteri cause it means star in greek, and Persephone is from greek myths. Chose star cause of my other pirate’s name Nova.

San: Dollzone BB yosd Nyu. Discontinued. Siblings Ichii, Nii and Shii. Numbered demons, their names will be the amount of horns they will get later. She needs a faceup eventually. ^-^;

Shii’s demonic form: (might changer her name later, she stole San’s wig) Sugarable Naga on the glamour body. Put her on layaway right as she got discontinued. Got the layaway extended because I got evacuated due to wildfires, my house came out okay and when I got back I finished the layaway. She arrived around the same time as Asteri. First time I had dolls arrive one after the other lol

Amaya Clepsydra: Doll Love Nichi MSD my first full doll, she arrived April 7th 2014, a few days before my birthday. My mini me so to say, got her cause she looks like me and I liked her neutral look. My girlfriend’s ‘mini me’ is named Aurea Clepsydra, hence my doll got her last name <3

Grumpers: being held by Amaya is Grumpers a Dollzone Heavy Rain spring event doll. I scrapped the money together to get him, wish I could’ve gotten a fullset plus faceup but I figured I could give him something similar later on.

Luddy: Angell Studio Dodo yosd. Gift from my long distance girlfriend when I visited her for the first time. I also purchased a doll for her, Lully who is Luddy’s sister and Amaya & Aurea’s kids.

Nana: Doll Leaves K - (Kira) MSD head on a Luts body. Brought his head with me to the Netherlands when I visited my girlfriend, figured we could do his faceup. (never did) but we found him a body second hand. Cheap cause it was badly yellowed.

Lyndon: Doll Family - H Lyndon, needs a new name. Impulse buy from Jeeryama on ebay for a good price. I’ve admired the sculpt for awhile but didn’t want to buy it cause I have no idea on what character or style I wanted for him and there were other dolls on my wishlist but I couldn’t pass up the great price. XD

Tsu 2: Doll Family H SD practice head, looked similar in pictures to my doll Tsumetai so I thought I’d get it and mod it to be a different demonic form for Tsumetai but the resin doesn’t match and the head is bigger. I don’t plan on giving Tsu2 a body but maybe a bust stand.

Tsumetai: Dollzone Stramonium SD my very first bjd purchase, I fell in love with Dollchateau youth body (the one with the extra jointed arms/legs/neck) and odd beauty. But didn’t like any of their heads so went on a search until I found the Dollzone Stramonium head, I had my eye on her and when she got discontinued it spurred me on to purchase her. She arrived Dec, 7th, 2013.

The three heads under Tsumetai: Ichii, Nii, & Shii, bought at the same time as San. They are a Dollzone Mika, Tengyan, & Hiro. (I can’t remember which is which right now.) I couldn’t make up my mind on which doll I liked best so I got em all XD but I couldn’t afford bodies for them all, and I didn’t want them all to be floating heads so Nyu aka San got a body.

Loki: Miracle Doll Baiye Ghost msd head. I really liked his smirk, and his little horns. I figured he’d fit in with the other demon themed dolls I have XD

Fae’s mask: Fae is the three eyed doll, she came with a mask (not a head or faceplate) I was surprised when I opened my packaged and I had a doll head and a mask, I didn’t think the mask in the pics came with her.

Fae: Flower & Junior Mizi.W. msd head. Fell in love with how adorable she looked and her unusual three eyes. I plan on putting her on a doll chateau body, and give her a pastel goth theme.
