blorbo (favorite character, character I think about the most)

tbh it's a huge toss up between xiao and venti, which is hilarious bc i played this game for gorou, but man. xiao has such an interesting character, he has so much devotion and dedication, houses so much pain and refuses to be unburdened by it... god. and then VENTI, man, dark horse who came out of left field and just punched me in the gut. he is SO interesting, his very bad way of dealing with his emotions is so so interesting, i cannot stop thinking about his response to "what are your hobbies" being "i like to drink," like HONEY. ARE U GOOD? (no)

scrunkly (my “baby”, character that gives me cuteness aggression, character that is So Shaped)

GOROU. FUCK. i know i never talk about him anymore but this is because i am a terrible genshin player and am still trying to build him as a support but i'm doing it very very poorly, so he's barely ever out, but i love this man and his twitchy ears and his devotion to resistance (xiaogorou is a good ship, in this essay i will--)

scrimblo bimblo (underrated/underappreciated fave)

barbara genshinimpact should know that she is the baddest bitch in this whole game and i will be triple crowning her and not a single one of you can stop me because i love her so much, it's what she deserves

glup shitto (obscure fave, character that can appear in the background for 0.2 seconds and I won’t shut up about it for a week)

big shoutout to takuya who i think about daily. man. my taste in emos grows ever stronger, but look, listen. he deserves the world, and i also think there's something there where like. he was always willing to die for itto, because that's his place as the blue oni, but itto is like, "you should get to live, too" and sort of realized how he was squandering the life that the blue oni gave to him, and it's just. i just. tAKUYA COME BACK.......

poor little meow meow (“problematic”/unpopular/controversial/otherwise pathetic fave)

i rly think this one in specific depends on who you ask... if we're talking in the meta, the fact that barbara is literally on every single one of my teams. like i literally refuse to take her out. i have jean right there, who is ostensibly a better healer and DPS. will that stop me? absolutely not.

but i wouldn't say barbara is particularly problematic or pathetic..... the real answer to this one is probably tartaglia, specifically the tartaglia who is so down bad for lumine his cold dead heart skips a beat every time she pummels him into the ground. but i hesitate to call him my poor little meow meow because i'm not particularly invested in him at all, especially not the way everyone else is

horse plinko (character I would torment for fun, for whatever reason)

(luckae) diluc raginvindr has spent the past fifteen years saving himself for his marriage with kaeya, horny gripping the whole time, only to watch the traveler fuck him within a day of knowing him.

eeby deeby (character I would send to superhell)

if we're talking enemies. every single one of the fatui can die by my blade.

if we're talking characters that matter. my irritation at a/y/ato is only topped by the sheer force of my hatred for r/ai/den sh/ogun... no shade to anyone who likes either of them!!!! but the former is not my cup of tea, and the latter i want to snap over my knee like a twig, and not in the fun way
