I feel like JC has some weird gender shit going on. Not even in the normal sense; in the ‘assigned ruined woman by the narrative’ sense. Like. Wow. JC, you really gonna get called childhood sweethearts with your rogueish evil shixiong? JC, you really gonna be left alone with naught but a single child, a widow in all but name? Wangji is out there trying to assign himself widower vibes but JC is getting constant woman scorned and wronged wife energies forced upon him from get-go.
Even his father was like *looking at an eight year old* “I see my nagging wife in you”
THAT'S WHAT I'VE BEEN SAYING
his parents really took a glance at that toddler and decided to project the most unhinged gender possible on him. JC, assigned neglected wife at birth.
JC performs it so conscientiously too! It's so so so important to how he is with WWX and how he views himself. 9yo JC after he's known WWX: "there he is. the cad that will break my heart." and can't ever everrrrrr stop loving WWX or break away from the utter grip WWX has on him. JC has known since before WWX came into his life that he was made to be neglected/scorned, by the person supposed to stand by his side and to whom he's supposed to be loyal.
Also lmao at the left with a child thing. It's totally that, except JC WISHES he was a widow!!! He's not even granted that dignity by society! But nah he's the ruined woman who was seduced and abandoned by someone who promised her marriage and then went off and died after making her look for a fool, while she was making excuses for him, and everyone knows what a chump JC was for it! Was WWX lying all along? Was is ever even real ?
(JC gets the answer to that question when WWX breaks it off at the temple by telling him nah, it was only duty to JC's family that made stick by JC's side. Probably not how WWX meant it! But wow, way to put it the least personal possible way. WWX's most intimate organ in JC's body had nothing to do with feelings for JC or JC as a person. Way to make sure JC never, ever reaches out for fear of being that nagging, clingy, shrewish, needy embarrassment of a person)

Got busy this weekend and couldnt draw much so today I did this silly thing :3
Something sweet about the Prototype qwq I find it endearing those two would get so happy when the prototype is near while other toys would feel intimidated by them XD I will make more silly doodles about why Zero thinks so high of the Prototype in the future :D
Au by @asamary You should check their stuff :D!
Tumblr media
Also Zero chirps when they are very happy (The only one who got to hear them is 1006 till now, Zero is a bit embarrased because he cannot control it but with 1006 he lowers his guard but also acts childish around him too HAHA)

Shitting on America like your ethnostate would be anything without America. Of america stopped giving Israel guns and bombs and money and un votes tommorow, Israel would literally be nothing.
So are Jews evil because we love America, or because we hate America? I can’t keep up.
You’ve used “colonialist” and now “ethnostate.” All you need is “apartheid” and “genocide” and you’ve got bingo.

Mean Gills thought:
Scott always out lives his closest ally.
Martyn alway out lives his purpose.
A lot of people are taking this to mean one curse will win out, and the other will be broken, since they’ve allied with each other.
However, I see a variety of possibilities with this.
You see:
Scott is Martyn’s “purpose”, and dies first. (Scotts curse breaks, Martyn’s doesn’t)
Scott is Martyn’s “purpose”, but Martyn dies first. (Martyn’s curse breaks, Scott’s doesn’t)
Killing Scott is Martyn’s purpose (hi watchers you creepy cryptic fucks), and he succeeds. (Scott’s curse breaks, Martyn’s doesn’t)
Killing Scott is Martyn’s purpose but he fails; someone else kills Scott (Martyn’s curse continues), Martyn dies first (Scott’s curse continues), they die simultaneously (both cursed break).
Best case scenario: they’re still very happily teamed up, and they wind up with the same time on their clocks, and they both reach 0 together. (Neither curse wins out/both break)
Worst case scenario: messy break up where Martyn looses his “purpose”, be that the coral isles, or being allied with Scott. This out living his purpose. Then Martyn dies, Scott’s closes ally for most of the season, or whoever his next closest ally is (probably cleo?). AKA: the everyone suffers/both curses continue option!
I suffer from so many brain thoughts…

10. What do you think c!Dream’s life was like pre-DSMP?
"nomadic" is probably the best way to describe it. I like the idea that he hopped from server to server, explored, but never had the chance to settle and simply Live, and that is why he was so attached to the community house and their little piece of the world, all to themselves. it was turbulent and while exciting, incredibly stressful. when would he eat next? when would he sleep in a bed and not in a cave, would he make it through the next winter, through the next year? all he wanted was stability and happiness, a world where he doesn't need to fear death - and those were all fears that gripped him before him and George found the lake and began building the community house

I am Thinking about Sebastian's reaction to hearing about an Anders-sparing Hawke being left behind in the Fade.....Like regardless of how incredibly angry he is I cannot imagine a universe where the loss and resulting lack of closure doesn't haunt him.....
oh that’s terrible i adore it. putting another coin in the “reasons to leave keir in the fade” jar

| HC- Clorinde |
Tumblr media
Though she is widely lauded for her title as Champion Duelist as well as duties as Furina's personal guard, Clorinde treats every individual equally (regardless of whether they are her superiors or people whom are behind her in ranking).
Having to alter her own behaviour towards them has never been anything important to her. At the end of the day, if she's there to work then she is there to work. No matter how close someone is to her, no matter how much she would suffer internally for having to raise her weapon against ones she hold dear in her heart, she will ultimately do what is right.
Clorinde doesn't answer to anyone. She answers to her nation. To her own conscience. To 'Justice'. That was why she is willing to follow through with Mr. Callas' duel. And how that one instance of losing a mentor figure and her childhood friend impacted her greatly to this day. Doing the right thing isn't easy, and sometimes she may never know if it truly was the 'right' thing, but she will see her choices to the end. While others may mistake her straightforward nature and bluntness for an air of cold haughtiness, that is far from the truth. She's not as stoic as people think she is, given that she teases and banters with both Wriothesley and Neuvillette. Even going so far as to jokingly ask for Neuvillette's approval for her to lead the speech as her 'boss'.
Instead: She is someone who separates her 'work' and ' personal life' very well.
Her actions towards Furina at the end was something she did because she believed it was necessary. But that does not mean she stopped caring for Furina or being a friend to her. In fact, Clorinde would be one of the people who would check up on her and help her transition into ordinary life. She will be around for her. Just as she seeks to protect Navia secretly after Callas' death, despite their estranged connection, she still cares very much for her.

i saw a post earlier about how we can get some good angst from headcanoning that grian got so many kills last episode because he was going crazy over the prospect of/losing the other bad boys
but i gotta say i don’t find that believable. mans was fairly calm about losing his teammates, all things considered. he did let joel kill him for a bit more time but even there, he seemed more frustrated that joel was wasting time fighting scar and panicking. other than that, he looked at it all very transactionally: securing a spot with the nosy neighbors before joel was gone, moving on from joel’s death in like 10 seconds, “it was getting expensive to keep him alive, you know what i mean?”
no, that’s not where the angst comes from. he got all those kills because he’s always been bloodthirsty, since the very beginning, only now he’s got experience to help him succeed. experience in tnt minecarts, sure, but also the experience to know that you can’t let anyone too close. loving anyone in this series is a liability. “having an alliance in the life series never lasts forever.” except when you did, and then had to kill the only other person you cared about besides yourself.
so now grian only cares about himself. he’ll be a loyal ally while he’s your ally, sure, but when the winds change, he’ll move on. “etho has no loyalty to you. he’s just immediately teamed up with the next guy that’s come along.” sounds like projection, bud.

y'know, I've been hearing about the new Zelda's $70 pricetag a lot -- but I've also been enduring a rough patch at uni, so I haven't been able to do any of the thinking or researching that I'd want to do before throwing my lot in there. regardless, there are two... fragments of points that I've had bouncing around in my head for a while, and I never see anyone getting close to them, so I figured I might as well lob them out to the internet to see if they'll bounce around enough to inspire some completed thoughts in anyone
the first thing: while Nintendo was the one that decided to take the first shot here and now, with a very highly anticipated title in one of its absolute flagship franchises, the matter of fact is that bumping up the Standard AAA Game Pricetag -- and to $70 exactly, even -- has been a talk in the industry for many, many years now. it's not a coincidence, or even just the industry's typical unparodiably vulture-like behavior, that as soon as Nintendo took the first shot, other studios were tripping over themselves to pin their next big releases at $70 as well.
(if you ask someone speaking for the studios, they'll probably tell you that $60 has been a downright generous pricetag for a long while now given how much production costs have soared in that time, and even $70 is still a steal all things considered. a less charitable point of view would invite you to consider why production costs are increasing so much anyway, despite that consumer satisfaction has long stopped increasing proportionally to that metric. is it an oversight, or a decision in the service of someone besides the consumer? that's not a rhetoric question, incidentally -- I did say these aren't finished thoughts.)
the second thing: first worlders have been much worried about what a price hike in games would mean for children, and to that I say: you may have more insight on the present situation if you look to countries where this sort of thing already has or still does happen.
I can say at the very least that, for a solid while here in Brazil -- that solid while having peaked around the 00s -- economic factors made the seemingly reasonable pricetag worldwide an oft-unthinkable one for most consumers (and the few that could actually afford videogames straight-up were still a stingy lot regardless). and what we did about it was... rampant piracy. and I don't just mean downloading shit, I mean that parents were buying their kids the sketchiest disks you can imagine to pop into their PS2s at home that probably weren't 100% the legit article either. owning a completely legitimate copy of any game was seen as some sort of Collector's Edition kind of rarity, even. anyway, I'm not exactly making predictions about how your first-world markets are going to adapt when/if videogames seriously slip out of the average consumer's grasp -- again, unfinished thoughts here -- but if you've been thinking about it, then this kind of thing may be worth studying up on.
