they get into an argument and sometimes when wraith reaches her limit she void phases and Bangalore HATES since she’s avoiding the issue so they just spend time apart. Up to you for who apologizes... fam you got a storm of ideas coming your way if you want to write them 💀💀
I need fun ideas to write from time to time so I will def be asking for them lol. I went waaaay overboard for this sorry

Anita stares at Wraith, nose flared and eyes narrowed as she watches the woman pace in front of her. It's way too late for this conversation in Kings Canyon of all places. The sun's setting, the match ended hours ago, and Wraith's still not over their loss. And apparently it's entirely Anita's fault. Because of course it is.
"I just do not understand why you can't listen to me for once!" Wraith growls. "How many matches have we been in together, Bang? How many?!"
Anita just sighs, shrugging. "For the last time, I told you I was dropping here at Runoff, and I'd meet you west of Bunker. Maybe you didn't hear me."
"I heard you clearly, and I still told you it was a bad idea. Do you even listen to me?"
What kind of bullshit is that? "You think I don't?" Anita crosses her arms. "I take everything you say into consideration. Everything. We always have a game plan before we drop, and we should have stuck to it."
Wraith stops at probably her thirty-seventh pace over hardened mud. Her mouth opens like she wants to say something, but she stops and her scrunches. Instead she marches closer, barely inches away, and glares up at Anita. "Consideration? You don't even fucking get it, do you? I'm not one your soldiers you can direct when and where you please," she says, giving Anita a light push in the chest.
Anita narrows her eyes and makes a quick glance between Wraith and her own chest. If this were anyone else, she'd drop them in a heartbeat for that. "I get it. We lost. That's on me. We have another chance in a week."
Wraith scoffs. "Are you even hearing yourself? You know what? I'm fucking done with this." With a roll of her eyes and final push at Anita's chest, she backs away, disappearing into a dimensional rift that rips open behind her. It closes immediately, leaving Anita standing in Runoff alone.
"Wraith!" Anita yells. "Dammit, Renee, come back!"
Whether Wraith hears her or not doesn't matter. Their fights have never been so serious that she's left right in the middle of one. Anita's dumbfounded, and the sting of embarrassment soon overcomes her anger and frustration.
She knows what she did wrong. If Wraith had support in Airbase, she wouldn't have been downed so quickly. There's barely any cover there and the open space makes her an easy target. Anita gets that. But Wraith doesn't seem to care about hearing it.
As Anita walks back to the Airbase to await the next flight off the Canyon, she thinks back to the conversation during the drop.
Wraith wasn't wrong. She did hear every word Anita said. The initial plan was solid. Cover more ground, pick up more loot, run if there's trouble, meet up at the small settlement west of Bunker. It was good. Wraith agreed to it, but flying over the area made her hesitate and want to abandon the plan completely. Anita remembers her saying multiple times they shouldn't do it and just take Runoff together. She... remembers that. But the plan was perfect! Even if either of them was caught amongst another squad, Wraith could slip out of harm's way unnoticed, and Anita had her smoke grenades. Even still, Wraith wasn't on board.
And Anita finally realizes.
***
Anita stares at the name on her phone screen as she lies in bed. She's been debating for hours, well into the evening, wondering if she should even bother texting. Wraith is the type to need her space after a fight, but it's been too long with no word.
She hasn't seen Wraith in nearly two days. Neither have the other Legends. She knows the woman can take care of herself but that doesn't make Anita worry any less.
"Dammit, Wraith..." she growls.
She gives up, starts typing a new message, and just as she's half-way done, the familiar crackle and hum of a torn-open rift catches her ear in the near distance. It's there for a few seconds before it disappears. Bare footsteps pad through her apartment until they reach her bedroom, and a gentle weight settles on the edge of her bed.
"Hey..."
Anita fights the subtle smile at Wraith's voice. She turns, still grasping and holding a pillow against her chest. She drops her phone. "Hey, stranger."
"I'm sorry, I would have texted before I came, but I didn't think you'd answer and-"
Anita lets Wraith trail off.
Other than her word vomit, she looks relaxed for the most part. She's wearing nothing but simple pajama shorts and a dark tank top. Her hair's down, inky black spilling over her face and shoulders. She smells like she's just stepped out of the shower - cherry blossoms? Maybe there was no need to worry after all.
"Where have you been?" Anita asks, as soft as possible. She doesn't want to come off accusatory or controlling, but she is curious to know.
"Everywhere. Kings Canyon, Solace, my apartment. Went to Natalie's for a bit today. Then to Witt's. I was... at home just now."
Anita lies back against the headboard and nods. Now would be the perfect time to come clean about her realization. She scratches the back of her head as Wraith sighs to herself.
"Look, I wanted to apologize-"
"Listen, I'm sorry I-"
They speak in unison. Anita holds back a subtle smirk. Wraith, a subtle chuckle.
"You first," Anita says.
Wraith pulls one leg under her. "I... I just wanted to say I'm sorry for blowing up at you." Her eyes glow for a split second. "It wasn't fair. Especially not getting right in your face about it."
Anita just nods. Wraith's apology is appreciated, but not so much needed, not like her own. She completely understands why she was so upset, though.
"I wanted to apologize for not seeing your point. I didn't realize it until after you left, but I do now." Anita shakes her head. "I remember the drop. I remember you telling me multiple times you wanted to change course. I heard you. But you were right. I wasn't listening. Probably made you feel like I didn't trust you."
Wraith purses her lips, like the statement satisfies her on some deeper level. Not that Anita can blame her. "Yeah. Exactly."
"I do trust you, Wraith. More than anyone else I've ever paired up with. I dunno... No excuse for it. I'll do better."
Wraith locks eyes with her, then narrows them. "You have to let me make the final call. Your plans work a majority of the time, but I just... I rely on my... instincts. They're good and I trust them. You have to trust them, too."
It's rare that Wraith is ever wrong about her call-outs. She's good at them. Deep down Anita knows that, and she still didn't give Wraith a chance. She fucked up, she now sees that clearly.
Anita nods again, the flush of embarrassment tinging her ears and cheeks. "Yeah. I understand."
"Thank you," Wraith whispers.
Anita sits across from Wraith, not sure how to proceed. Would Wraith just get up and go back home? How much longer would they sit in silence?
Wraith eventually does move. She crawls toward Anita on the bed, moves the pillow Anita clutches out of the way. She sits, straddles her with knees on either side of Anita's waist.
When Wraith wraps her arms around her neck, Anita wraps hers around Wraith's midsection in a light hug. She rests her face right in Wraith's chest and inhales the subtle post-shower fragrance of cherry blossoms. Wraith is usually never the one to initiate contact, so her forwardness throws Anita off. Still, it's appreciated and loved, and Anita just hugs her tighter.
Wraith scratches at the base of Anita's neck, then the back of her head. She rests her cheek at Anita's temple and whispers, "I'm still mad at you."
A chuckle probably isn't appropriate here, so Anita holds one back. "I figured."
Wraith plays with Anita's ear. "Just give me a couple of days."
"I will. What do you want from me now?"
Wraith doesn't say anything for several seconds.
"Just... lie with me? I'll leave in the morning."
"Yeah."
Anita leans to the side to lie down on the bed. Wraith holds their position for only a minute before letting go. When she releases, it's not forever, only long enough to curl into Anita and rest her head on Anita's chest. Anita just runs her fingers through Wraith's hair.
They lie that way for the rest of the night, not a word spoken between the two, until Wraith falls asleep first and Anita follows shortly after.

Def Leppard in Vegas, 8/29/19
Back from Las Vegas!! The whole experience was incredible--I really just loved the atmosphere of Vegas for reasons I can’t even describe, and the trip as a whole was one of the best vacations I’ve ever had. And the show itself was, of course, perfect.
I don’t have many pics of the show because the venue, being indoors, was very dark, and my camera does not take good pictures in the dark. I have two comically bad ones I’ll post later, and my mom took some that were actually good but she hasn’t sent them to me yet.
A few notes on the experience though:
I was sitting General Admission Right (right being my right, stage left) and I got there early enough that I was essentially the second ‘row’ in the standing only space. There was one row of people directly at the barrier, then me. I picked a spot near the end of the runway stage so I wouldn’t be behind the band for the acoustic part, so I was far-ish from the main stage, at least within the context of the GA area--still more than close enough to see the band without looking at the screens, though.
Overall, I think I had a good spot. One of the people in front of me was like constantly waving and trying to get the attention of the band, which weirdly gave me some degree of anxiety, and another nearby person was headbanging, which... is this really a headbanging band? You do you though. Also a lot of people between me and the main stage had their cell phones out and up, which was, I gotta say, annoying, since the phones are so bright. You people could at least put your video on youtube, lol. That’s the only reason I don’t absolutely lose my shit about it, is that I do benefit from people filming during the show, but still.
The show was intense as hell. Like, I knew it would be two full hours but I didn’t realize what two full hours would feel like. I was standing for over three hours, in line and then in the venue waiting for the show to start, too, which contributed to the fatigue of just being an audience member, I’m sure.
But it was also a completely packed, no filler show. No intermission, no breaks, no down-time, barely any talking between songs. Joe spoke a little during the acoustic part and then maybe a sentence here or there otherwise but mostly it was song into song into song. I think they played 3-4 before he said a single word.
I knew what the setlist was, roughly, but it still felt very different to listen to versus the setlist from last year. More than I thought it would. I’m familiar with all of these songs, even the rare ones, and if something has been played live before ever I have heard a live version of it, recorded, you know? But it’s different to be there. Not being quite sure what’s going to be played next and then it’s Promises or Now or Excitable or Mirror Mirror, it’s something else.
Speaking of setlists, on my night they played Foolin’, Mirror Mirror, and Let It Go, and there was no Billy, Slang, Too Late for Love, or Paper Sun. I was a little disappointed not to hear Billy or Slang, but my mom really enjoyed Mirror Mirror--and I must admit, it probably is one of the rarest songs to hear in a way.
And Let It Go???? I wanted them to play Let It Go when I heard it come back during the Euro tour in the summer, but then I figured from the setlists coming out I wouldn’t hear it. And then Phil comes out to the center of the stage and does that opening riff and at first I was like--wait--is that???--and then it was!! That song is such a powerhouse live, they should play it more.
The stage was really, really huge. Like I know they said it was huge, but when I first got into the venue, I didn’t think it was that big. Then I saw it in comparison to the band. From where I was standing on the side I could never see everyone at once. I could see people on the runway part of the stage and people at the center and anywhere on the right (my right), but people on the far left were hard to impossible to see. I was thinking about it, actually, and I think it’s pretty impressive that Leppard filled the stage as well as they did, since probably a lot of performers at Planet Hollywood have backup dancers or whatever--they’re literally five people, only four of whom can move during the show, and they still owned it.
I also really liked how they used the screens behind the stage and the lights. A couple of the screens were the familiar ones from last year and previous tours (the Vegas signs behind Animal, the Hysteria screen with old pics/video of the band), just on a larger scale, but often they were just large video of the band as they played, the simplicity of which I appreciated. Similarly, the lights/lasers were obviously super complex, but they weren’t distracting. The lasers during Love Bites were insane and during Switch 625, Phil and Vivian, and then Rick, were highlighted in a cool way. (Rick finally got his cone!) The photos of the band they used during Photograph included some really rare ones that I’d never seen before.
The acoustic set worked really well and I’m so glad they did that... I wish even more that I could see a whole acoustic show from them... Maybe someday. Joe introduced the band members with how long they’d been in the band (’veteran of x years’), and pointed out that they had new chairs for this show, decorated on the back with the Vegas logo (with the dice) and with their names on them. I was sitting so that I was even with Phil, a little ahead of Rick, and behind Joe and Sav. Vivian was also even with me but facing away. But Phil would turn around a lot to look at my side of the audience, or sometimes behind him at Rick, and Viv turned all the way around to look at us, too. At one point, he literally stood up mid-song and handed a guitar pick to the person in front of me (Phil threw one at the end of the acoustic set and the end of the show and I think Sav was throwing them at the other side, but this was the only time I saw one handed to a specific person.) I seriously, like, memorized Phil’s arm I think. He had on bracelets, and his shoes were high top boots that he’d only laced to the ankle and then just wrapped the laces around.
Speaking of outfits and shoes: Viv had his lucky leopard print sneakers, Joe had on Vans, and Sav had sparkly black sneakers. I am fairly sure he and Joe coordinated outfits, because Joe’s jacket for the second half of the show matched Sav’s outfit imo. And for the encore Joe broke out the star shirt from the R&RHOF press tour.
I thought the sound was really good--better than in VA Beach, where I couldn’t really hear anything, from my seats, because it was so loud it was distorted, although this could have been exacerbated by Journey’s set, by which I mean I had already temporarily blasted out my hearing before Leppard even started to play. I could hear the vocals really well in Vegas (Joe really does sound better than he has in a long while imo), although I felt personally like I couldn’t hear the guitars as well as I wanted, versus the drums.
My overall impression was that this was a show for hardcore fans, for certain. I guess it has to be, since aside from people who live in Vegas, everyone in that audience traveled to see them, when generally, it’s the other way around. The rare songs, the length, the lack of filler, etc.
A few quick notes on small observations:
Phil mouthing ‘hi’ to an audience member during one of the songs;
Sav playing around a lot to the audience (you can see this in a video of Let It Go on youtube);
Sav in general looking like he was having a lot of fun, even skipping across the stage, as he does
Phil messing up during the Hysteria solo, I think--I thought I heard a couple notes that were off and then I caught him smiling at Viv in that ‘whoops, fucked that up, oh well’ kind of way;
Viv poking Phil under the arm as they passed by each other;
Phil singing into the microphone with Joe, and the audio was clear enough that I’m pretty sure I could actually pick out Phil’s voice;
David Coverdale and/or someone else from Whitesnake might have been in the audience--not sure, but the security guy was very chatty and at one point I noticed him saying something to someone in front of me, and then I heard her say to the person next to her something that included the word “Whitesnake.” So. I didn’t see anyone but it’s possible??
...So, yes. That was my experience! It was wild, exhausting... I sort of wish I could do it over to pay better attention at some parts lol, and just take even more out of it than I could at the time. But I’m so glad I went. It was a totally unique show for sure, and I’m so impressed with them. I can’t imagine doing that a dozen times, or twice in a row like they do on the weekends.

Note
would you by any chance be up to just answer all of them rn
sjdnflskjdsnfdgsdfg this is gonna kill me and i’m so excited
READ MORE FOR ONCE to spare yalls dashboards
and i took out the ones i answered already tbh OK LET’S GO
1 : What age-group do you write?
YA!!!! i have always always wanted to write for teens. since i’ve gotten older, i do also wanna write for young adults but definitely like anything between 13-25 is the people i rly dedicate my stories to
2 : What genre do you write?
again, the closest thing i’d subscribe to genre-wise is YA... i get bored only doing the same thing over and over, but atm i have the most scifis (the most being two) so i guess that! i do fucking LOVE horror and realistic fiction tho
3 : Do you outline according to big ideas or small details?
how small are we talking... i do rly obsessively outline tho, i get the main big plot points down and then i like to know what those lil details in between are.. so...
5 : Do you write better with or without deadlines?
DON’T GIVE ME A DEADLINEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE..................
like, sure, i’ll DO it, but will i LIKE IT.. NAH... PROBABLY NOT... i did nanowrimo once, it was a great experience but was the final product good? nah... so... nnnnnah
6 : What would be the biggest compliment you could hope to receive on your current WIP?
GOSH I DONT KNOW.... JUST... ASKING FOR MORE, I GUESS??????? actually the biggest compliment is people building on my ideas or asking me questions about it tbh, anything that shows how engaged they rly got is NICE... i also do rly like when people compliment my prose tho kfgsdfgs
7 : How long is your current WIP?
tsg is 9449 words as of rn! i am far too lazy to open up the other documents and check but they are FAR shorter!
10 : Do you brain-storm story ideas alone or with others?
bothhhhh... i do have way more fun with other people though, and i think other people help more cuz they can make connections and ask questions i wouldn’t think of. most importantly, if there are plot holes, maybe they’ll find them for me.. or maybe even solve them!!! eee the best
11 : Do you base your characters off of real people?
y e s yes yes i do i have so many... like, there’s a cara in every story, there’s a maeve and britt in every story, if i know you for long enough, you’ll def appear SOMEwhere.
12 : Is your writing space clean or cluttered?
what is this ‘clean’ you speak of
13 : Do you write character-driven or plot-driven stories?
def characters, man, i wouldn’t even write a plot if you’d let me... i literally have so many stories where the plot IS just the characters kind of just. living. yes. so good
14 : Do you have a favorite writing-related quote?
if i DID i forgot it
15 : If you transport your original characters into another author’s world, which world would you choose?
imma be honest, if i had to pick any author in the world it would be britt @mmementommori‘s verse. i absolutely fucking ADORE everything that went into that story, the verse is fascinating and perfect and my characters would fit in so well and also would be tortured for all of eternity. what could be better???
19 : Would you rather live in your characters’ world, or have your characters come live in our world?
i wanna live in tsg cuz then vampires would be real and i could finally be one, y es
20 : What book would you love to see adapted for the big or small screen?
i’ve been watching a lot of... rly... gay... amazing movies... like, beautifully made and SO grand and larger than life and so CAREFULLY LOVINGLY made... like the handmaiden or moonlight.. and because of that, i would LOVE to see tsg as a movie. i think it’d fit right in and the idea of a lgbt horror movie hitting the scren is... g o d
21 : Do you finish most of the stories you start?
yyyees and nnnoooo....more no than yes... the furthest i get usually is the first draft and onto revising and then i get bored and move on but i’m getting better
22 : Has your own writing ever made you cry?
what is this ‘cry’ you speak of
actually once i did this rp scene with @mvgitek and... imma be real... there might’ve been a tear or two
23 : Are you proud or anxious to show off your writing?
anxious the first couple of seconds, proud the rest of the time. i don’t doubt that my writing is good but also... WILL THEY THINK MY WRITING IS GOOD???
24 : When did you start considering yourself a writer?
in the 3rd grade when i started making lil paperback books for all the kids in my class. maybe even a lil bit before that
28 : On a scale of 1-10, how much do you stress about choosing character names?
def a 1 omg. name is usually one of the first things that pop up for me. if it doesn’t pop up immediately when my baby is a lil shyer, i give them a placeholder. no big. it’ll come eventually
29 : Do you tend to underwrite or overwrite in a first draft?
overwrite... in that... i write the first draft like its the only draft, cuz it pretty much will be i hate revising so much jfkgsg
30 : Does writing calm you down or stress you out?
calm, i suppose... i can and have zoned out and just written for hours, like, ten hours straight, more than that... that’s a nice feeling yes
31 : What trope do you actually like?
what’s with the phrasing of this question... as if i’m only pretending to like most tropes...also i can never remember tropes off the top of my head and i still have 20 questions to go sO..SKIPPING...
32 : Do you give your side-characters extensive backstories?
Y E P.... is it really a side-character if you don’t obsess about them more than the mains at times because they’re so complex and you love them so much
33 : Do you flesh-out characters before you write, or let their personalities develop over time?
nah those fuckers jump outta the brain womb fully formed, pretty much. their personalities do develop more as i write but i have a rly good grasp of them before i even start the story
34 : Describe your old writing in one word.
amazingwhatalittlecutieohmygodimisshavingthissymplisticwritingstylelikeyoubitchyoudidntevenrealizewhatyouhadandnowitsGONE
35 : Is it more fun to write villains or heroes?
VILLAINS... duh....
36 : Do you write with a black and white sense of morality?
nah... largely cuz my own morality is skewed, also because most of the point of the stories is exploring morality and what it means and seeing how it gets corrupted in the protags
37 : What’s one piece of advice you would give to new writers?
you will be so much happier if you stop writing like anyone else and stop writing what people want you to write and just write for you and you only, everything else falls into place after you accept this!! AND PRACTICE
38 : What’s one piece of writing advice you try--but fail--to follow?
i hate almost all writing advice so there isn’t anything i’m attempting that i’m not doing tbh cuz i don’t wanna do any of it i’m a brat haha
39 : How important is positive reinforcement to you as a writer?
it’s important as in i’m narcissistic so anything negative puts me into a blind rage which is a damper on my mood omsfjgsfgs. also it keeps me vibing and keeps me hyped to channel out more work faster
40 : What would you ask your favorite author if given one question?
‘how the fuck’
41 : Do you find it distracting to read while you’re writing a first draft?
NAH i feel it to be absolutely necessary tbh. when i don’t read, i don’t write nearly as often and sometimes not even as well. i find other books to be rly healthy friendly competition, and when i read, immediately after i think ‘why isn’t my stuff published? why isn’t my book on the shelves with this one? i should get to work holy fuck’
42 : Do critiques motivate or discourage you?
depends! again, narcissistic, but i’ve gotten better and i do want to learn more. as long as it’s constructive and, by constructive, i mean that it still compliments me a lot and gives me the good AND the not-so-good then it’s fine, i get motivated. i never get discouraged, i’m either hype or i’m livid, which gives me evil hype and i write more outta spite haha
44 : How do you decide what story idea to work on?
i just get... the vibe... where suddenly i wanna work on a story so i do. sometimes i can tell a story isn’t ready so even if i feel like working on it, i won’t, but otherwise, i just wait for the vibe...
46 : What Hogwarts house would your protagonist(s) be in?
slytherin: red, bert, nora, amara, nathaniel, mal, katherine, tyler, eve and avery
gryffindor: black, nisha, rachel, caleb (unless i’m mean and make him a slytherin), cupid, aurora, frank, nicky, tasha, sinclair
ravenclaw: aaron, andrey, astra, antionette, blair, lucia
hufflepuff: jackie (unless i’m mean and make him a slytherin), cassandra, danny, ezra, emily, skylar, anna, null
47 : Where do you see yourself as a writer in five years?
book or two published, working on another three or so but who knows omfhsjgs
48 : Would you ever co-write?
i wanna co-write something so BAD......!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
49 : Are you a fast and rushed writer or a slow and deliberate writer?
fast and rushed omfg i can’t write slow for shit.. wish i could.. i’m getting better
OH MY GOD I’M DONE WOWWWWWWWWWWWWW THANK YOU SO MUCH ANGEL
