#Both of them had it rough as hell in raccoon city but can we fucking acknowledge the fact that— #—claire was on her OWN trying to take care of Sherry because her dad was. yeah. and her mom was otherwise out of the picture— #—at the start of the game (who dies later on when Claire is trying to cure Sherry) #Claire was 19 and a college student just trying to find her brother and ended up with a kid to take care of #At least Leon was trained and experienced in some capacity #Leon also had Ada which is probably a lot nicer having someone you’re age to rant abt the circumstances too #Claire didn’t have any help like Ada she was doing it on her own #Annette was the most help she got and even then she had Annette stay with Sherry while she looked for a cure #getting so horribly sick of people pointing out the differences in how people treat Leon’s trauma vs Claire’s with raccoon city #cause some dumbass is always accusing people who point it out that they’re ‘comparing trauma’ bro SHUT UP #dear god the misogyny in this fandom is horrific I’m losing my mind #anyways all this to say I love Claire and she’s awesome
