When I first played Disco Elysium I thought that Kim's "marks" on his face and neck were (). Then I saw people saying they are just blood from the tribunal and I was extremely disappointed :( So now I headcannon it :3

Fun fact: the colors I used represent the four different groups of skills in the game !

Fr though, I think a DE film/tv show would be terrible in so many ways, one of which is producers/directors/etc. would think Harry was too weird for mainstream audiences, so instead of a guy with 24(26?) voices in his head and genuine psychosis/ADHD/autism/potential bipolar I/all the plethora of mental illnesses he has, he’d just be an alcoholic who talks to his tie sometimes

my pet peeve with disco elysium is the writers don’t know what they’re talking about re: trouser cuts. though bootcut jeans do have minor flare to them, no one thinks “bootcut” when you say “bellbottom”. bootcut jeans are subtly flared but you can look at them and think they’re straight cut. “bellbottom” inherently implies a dramatic and distinctive flare. and harry’s pants aren’t even particularly flared! they’re NORMAL BELLBOTTOMS goddammit. the text acts like they’re elephant bells and they’re NOT.

The one that got me irked was that the description of the item "Green Snakeskin Shoes" says they're made of "crocodile leather". Which is it?????

Love how much two Disco Elysium playthroughs can vary in so few hours from the start.

The first time I played I had Inland Empire as my main. I didn't have the courage to reveal my face, and I was amused by the horrific necktie. And, honestly, I felt bad and confused when I succeeded the Conceptualitation check and was told to wait. (I didn't even finish day one)

The second time I had Encyclopedia (I love him so much). This time I knew my appearance. Oh boy I was questioning myself if the necktie did really spoke last time. Funny thing is, I failed the Conceptualitation check catastrophicly and got the perfect name for me, Raphaël Ambrosius Costeau lol.
