You almost got me there at first glance 😛
Anyway, thank you! I still do plan to make (a lot of) edits and add new scenes and worldbuilding to the story (not to mention my future plans for the short story anthology), but my focus is on DDWCaPH! for the moment.

A bit late, but do you remember the old crossover writing DDWCAPH (dear diary we created a plot hole) author did once? I think it was a little prompt writing of theirs but they put your emery in it as a little crossover. Well guess what. I finally finished their latest story update and- THE AUTHOR ACTUALLY PUT EMERY IN THE STORY!!! AND HE SHOWS UP QUITE A FEW TIMES!!! IT'S SO ADORABLE (If you're wondering i think it's in chapter 4 and 5)
Yeah, I'm totally aware, don't worry! Ate Franz (the author) did a great job characterizing Emery and at the same time putting her own little spin on him. My heart melted when I found out (from what I can remember) that Emery has a little owl backpack. I consented to let Ate Franz use Emery however she wishes in her story, if you're wondering. So no one better go to her and argue about "Emery being my character and about how I didn't consent to her using him in her story", or I will bite your ankles off your damn feet and throw you off a cliff.
I just feel really honored and also grateful that Ate Franz did the effort to make Emery show up a few times in TWO (two is alot) chapters without making it feel forced or jarring. Deep respect and admiration to Ate Franz y'all. Go read her IF and her other works, it's awesome, they're great, and absolutely fun to read, I promise you.

How do I join the Public Beta?
You can join the public beta by joining the DDWCaPH! Discord Server. From there, go to the #roles channel and ask Ma'am Bianes to give you the Open Beta Tester role and get access to the link and the discussion/bug report channels.
Why limit the beta test in the Discord?
Let me begin by saying that I didn't want to do this. But the last time I did a strictly private beta, I got ABSOLUTELY ZERO feedback weeks after release until I explicitly asked for it.
This is the best compromise I can think of for now, that should still be convenient for most people.
Chapter 4 also isn't 100% complete yet. There are still a bunch of choices I haven't written yet, but I'm leaving them for a later update because I'm not in the right headspace to finish them, and after 138k words, I need a break from writing.
When will Chapter 4 be out for everyone?
I'm not really sure. Depending on how well this beta goes, it might be after a couple weeks, or after a month.
I also want to draw some new character art, so I might wait until those are done as well.
Again, depending on how well the public beta goes, I may keep doing this, or go back to doing private beta tests. If I do go back to private beta testing, Chapter 4 will be the LAST PUBLIC UPDATE until Volume 1 is fully complete.
If you want the next chapters to still be in public, be sure to send in your playthrough codes and feedback in the survey! They really mean a lot to me, but I'm not releasing chapters publicly anymore if I'm getting absolutely zero reception.
And to the person who leaked an earlier version of the demo: I hope you liked that buggy mess. 😊 Send me your playthrough codes, will you? I'd really appreciate it.

I hope everyone’s doing well despite everything that’s happening. I’m still recovering from the update so I don’t have anything special planned, but here’s a small update anyway!

The Bonus EXP Event has been extended.
The Fantasy genre has been renamed to “High Fantasy” to be more accurate.
You can now choose what to call Julie and Robert, even if you don’t have a high starting relationship.
Updated Roselyna’s artwork in uniform to have redder hair and better shading.
Fixed MC getting a 5% Knowledge Bonus before you pick your class standings.
Fixed Twin’s genre-based character class suggestions showing up even if it’s not their favorite genre.
Fixed fantasy heritage passive showing incorrect label when trait details are hidden.
Minor edits.
Roselyna is now approximately 20.24% more huggable!

New Total Wordcount
After who knows how long, I finally have the wordcount for the next update!
The new total is 464,800—which is 95k more words than the last beta (or 233k more words than the last public update), although the actual total is probably a bit higher since I still need to write a few transitional scenes, and I optimized some of the existing code/removed some deleted scenes.
Chapter 4 has become so long that I had to split them into different files to prevent lagging. But since it feels like I basically wrote a whole new chapter with the new update, I've decided to split Chapter 4 into two chapters.
Anyway, all that's left is debugging and finishing up all the new art stuff. Hold on tight!

Added one new preset name for the Supernatural setting.
Added options and custom inputs for what you call Aunt Julie and Uncle Robert if you picked the highest starting relationship with them.
Roselyna now grabs an umbrella during a certain scene in Chapter 5.
Certain choices in Chapter 3 can no longer be picked if MC has no crushes other than B.
The stat requirements for the 🥇 [Top 5 Student] and 🥈 [Top 10 Student] Traits now account for the Knowledge stat, and should be overall easier to achieve if your Knowledge is higher than 10%.
Fixed short fantasy races still being able to select the 📏 [Tall] Passive.
Fixed MCs with 👑 [Draconic Heritage] not being able to select the 📏 [Tall] Passive.
Fixed "Waynie" and "Mikey" bestfriend nickname errors.
Fixed typo when choosing one of the preset twin language names.
Fixed missing instrument flavor text if you picked keyboards as your favorite instrument.

I just finished updating the game with a bunch of bug fixes!
Your saves should still be intact. If your game randomly resets to the beginning of the new chapter, that's probably why. Sorry for the inconvenience!
Added the "My Thoughts" header in the stats screen before the menu is available.
Added new option when confessing your crush to Roselyna if MC is chubby.
Lowered 📏 [Shorty Squad!] Intimidation Penalty from 20% to 10%.
Lowered 🧍 [Slender] Vigor and Intimidation Penalty from 20% to 15%.
Lowered 🧍 [Chubby] Grace Penalty from 20% to 15%.
~A/N: While I want the body type passives to have effects on both gameplay and flavor text, the associated penalties felt a little too limiting to certain playstyles.
Moved the ✨ [Bonus EXP Event] buff to the Active Buffs section.
Fixed Emotional Stat going over 100% when picking the choice that allows you to change pronouns.
Fixed 👑 [Draconic Heritage] and secret pronoun error in the stats screen.

The game now has a new average playthrough of ~94,000 words (+34,000 higher than the last update), and a new total wordcount of 347,000 (including code)!
I'll do a short closed beta test first to make sure there's nothing weird going on (while I prepare a bunch of other assets), so please be patient!

Chapter 4 is complete!*
*Or around 75% complete for the update to be ready.
There's still a lot of choices and transition scenes I need to write so everything flows well together, but that should go much faster now that the text that appears in all playthroughs is more or less complete.
The current word count for the chapter is sitting at almost 49k, so I'm guessing the word count will be around 60k when it's complete. But watch it be 70k anyway because apparently I'm horrible at estimating word counts.
Stay tuned for news about the beta! I'll probably start it once the update's 90% ready.

It contains the new diary entries for the parents of F6E members, an option to give your pet a nickname, additional choices, and some new crush/gender-related flavor text!
If you have a previous Chapter 3 save, you can just load them up to read the new diary entries!

GENERAL
• The Bonus EXP event has ended.
• Added new diary entries for the parents of F6E members!
~ Contains extra information depending on your chosen bestfriend.
~ Updated Maggie's entry to now acknowledge MC's thoughts on their gender.
~ Minor edits to a few other entries.
CHARACTERS
• Tita Josephine's nickname is now Josie, and she now wears hearing aids.
• Mary now has bright blue hair.
• Various minor characterization tweaks.
CHOICES
• You can now give a nickname to your pet cat or dog!
• Added a "I need to think about it first" option when first deciding to go to the sleepover.
• Added a new choice to give Roselyna flowers for her birthday.
• Added two new outfit options.
~ No additional outfit options will be added (for now) if they're too similar to the existing options.
• The choices when choosing your MC's body confidence trait now acknowledges non-cis MCs.
• Added a new showerthought for questioning and non-cis MCs, as well as a special choice and variation when responding to Paddy's 4th secret.
• Changed flavor text for the reserved flirt options if you have a negative starting relationship with the respective crush option. These options now also trigger a new "in-denial" variable.

CHANGES AND FIXES
• Choosing Wayne, Roselyna, or Heart Twin as your bestfriend now increases your Charm slightly, and choosing Lily, JM, or Star Twin now increases your Knowledge slightly.
• Your relationship with Julie will now automatically decrease after fully discovering Paddy's first secret.
• Removed relationship penalties when skipping a song.
• Removed the relationship penalty for the last two options when responding to Paddy's 4th secret.
• The option to have no fashion sense now takes your chosen clothing type into consideration, and added a new variable for future use.
• Added "super" to MC's childish vocabulary (if Naive Stat is at least 70%) to replace "very" occasionally.
~ "Bestie" now only appears on the childish vocabulary set.
• Slightly reduced time cost of several events in Chapter 3.
• Fixed bug where the room customization loops if you snoop around your twin's belongings first.
• Several minor edits, stat adjustments and fixes.
• Roselyna is now more huggable than ever!

Chapter 4 Update!
Hello everyone! Just a quick update: Chapter 4 is currently at 19k words (it's much shorter and narrower than Chapter 3), and I'm trying to finish it by February 28 to coincide with Roselyna's birthday.
Although, I'll most likely leave a bunch of non-essential scenes and choices for the next update (mostly the singing and dancing scenes during the party, as well as a bunch of sidequest conversations). Originally I'm going to split Chapter 4 into two updates, but since the latter half is quite short and is important to the plot, I decided to include it now instead of later.
Chapter 4 has a surprising amount of sidequest and plot-related stuff, and the first three chapters have a quite a bit of new stuff as well!
I'll be trying out a new beta process this time, so stay tuned!
