Once Upon A Time. Thank You. 💞

I remember watching the trailer...

“Man if they do this right this could be amazing.”

I watched the first episode

What stuck out to me the most was Prince Charming (Josh Dallas) epically sword fighting with his newborn daughter in his arms....

I know I liked it right off. But I don’t remember the particulars...

I watched faithfully for two seasons...and then for personal reasons(not show related) I took a break when season three started.

That break was promptly ended when I found out that Killian and Emma had kissed!

I loved them but I hadn’t been astute enough to see the foreshadowing(that I now know was ALL over)(including their theme which I kept a shoddy list about here https://psalm40speakstome.tumblr.com/post/142258325672/captain-swan-theme-mark-isham)

So I watched half of a season on Hulu and promptly started watching again when it came back...

And honestly season three is still one of my favorite seasons...😍

I kept watching and kept watching.

I watched Once Upon A Time In Wonderland(which I also loved)

This show brought my love of fairytales to beautiful levels...and through it all their message of hope.

And while I love #Snowing and I love #OutlawQueen this show gave me

One of the greatest love stories to ever grace American Television

Emma Swan and Killian Jones. #CaptainSwan

The beautiful, epic story of too people finding and fighting for each other.

It was/is one of my favorite pairings of all time.

It was beautiful and epic..but it was also real and relatable.

I could talk about the costumes, the music, the cast because they are all incredible.

How I love faux leather jackets and Emma Swan is partly culpable in that.

How I got my hair cut in Emma Swan layers when it was long.

About my Captain Swan memorabilia (because I have it)

(I could even talk about the things I wasn’t as big of a fan of and the content I didn’t think needed to be there sometimes) 😘

But mostly just #ThankYouOnceUponATime it’s been lovely and taken me to new worlds and made me fall in love with characters...

You’ve been lovely.

(It’s literally impossible to pick one quote from this series...I won’t even try because then this will be pages long...but this quote is one of those that not only meant something for the beautiful OTP that is #CaptainSwan but personal I found it encouraging as a flawed human with walls 😘)
