I've been working on this for more time than I'd care to admit cause I've been formulating like... 4 separate Fan Casts, but when @easily-distracted-ivashkov posted an ask about Casting I had to submit something. Then it got too large for an ask so here I am.

Trust No One

yet another AU! this one is sashannarcy hehe

In this AU, all the amphibia stuff stayed the same, but once they got back, things got weird.

Since Sasha and Marcy, Anne's closest friends, had actually been making pretty selfish decisions (which she totally forgives them for), Anne begins questioning her other friends' motives, and it didn't help that they kinda lost touch over those months spent away.

Thus, Anne trusts no one but Sasha, Marcy, and her parents.

Meanwhile, Marcy has been having lots of problems. She's super paranoid, has been lower than usual on her grades, and even can't bring herself to play on her switch (because it reminds her of how Aldritch tried to manipulate her). She even asked her parents to "ground" her from her phone because she couldn't stand the constant spamming of messages from her fellow gamers.

Her parents, of course, noticed this, and decided to cancel the move to try and help Marcy, but even though she feels like the whole Amphibia incident was her fault, she still holds a wall between her and her parents.

Thus, Marcy trusts no one but Anne and Sasha.

And ever since Sasha got home, she's been practically ghosting everyone until she got back to school (including her parents). She didn't speak or reply to her messages for over a month, and the only way anyone would know she was there was when she practiced her swordfighting with her old cheerleading flags.

Thus, Sasha trusts no one but Marcy and Anne.

All three of them would sometimes relive unwanted memories in their sleep, which may or may not have resulted in insomnia and a lot of screaming (especially on Sasha's end, she still relives her fights with Anne and Darcy).

When the three of them got back to school, they only hung out with one another and didn't really speak unless they were in conversation with one another. Unknowingly, they were all already in love with each other. Blind dumbasses.

It was literally so obvious to everyone in the world. It had been broadcasted live on the news all over the world that Sasha, Anne and Marcy saved the planet together. Anne only smiles around them. Sasha wouldn't speak at all unless she was with them. Marcy made them small gifts like necklaces and barrettes, and they even repaid her by fixing her own hair clip when it broke.

But somehow, they were completely oblivious.

Eexcept until prom. Marcy still didn't trust anyone but them, so they were the ones she asked.

Sasha realized her feelings about a week before, and she said yes.

Anne said yes, then went home, realized how big of an implication it was going to be, and then realized just how much she cared for the both of them.

Unfortunately for them, in Amphibia, everyone really missed the Calamity Trio, so the newts managed to revive a small part of the Core and gain its knowledge to build a new portal.

And right after the success, it escaped into the human world, with the portal still in Amphibia. So it's stuck on Earth and not even it can do anything about it, the planet doesn't have the right kind of resources.

Sadly, it still has enough of it to hack into some of Earth's advanced technology, which only made it stronger. And during prom, it hacked into the music speakers and attempted to attack the Calamity Trio.

But then, somehow, as if by miracle, something clicks in the three of them. Like some switch was turned on. And they all get their calamity powers again, and beat the shit out of the core... in front of the whole school plus teachers.

The second installment of this year’s Bledisloe Cup Game 2 will take place Wallabies vs NZ Rugby tonight with New Zealand hosting Australia at Eden Park. The Wallabies will be out to break a 36-year drought at Eden Park when they face the All Blacks to conclude their Rugby Championship campaign.

New Zealand well and truly holds the bragging rights over Australia when it comes to rugby union, having won the past 19 Bledisloe Cups.

The All Blacks have won the trophy 49 times, whilst the Wallabies have claimed it on 12 occasions.

Five days after the dramatic Melbourne Test, Australian rugby remains consumed by contentious calls in the Wallabies 39-37 Bledisloe Cup loss to New Zealand.

How to watch Wallabies vs NZ Rugby

Both matches of the 2022 Bledisloe Cup series will be shown live in Australia on Stan Sport and via the Nine Network.

The second Test will be played on Saturday, September 24, with kick-off scheduled for 5:05 pm (AEST) on Stan Sport.

The match will also be broadcast on free-to-air television, set to be shown on Channel 9 (Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane) and 9GO (Perth and Adelaide).

Having read and absolutely LOVED "The Hating Game" by Sally Thorne, I have to admit my expectations for this book have been set high. THG was love at first page and to be honest, this was not exactly the case with “99 Percent Mine”. It took some time before I warmed up to this story but when I did, it was just like Darcy's and Tom's relationship. So. Very. Worth. The. Wait. Let's start with what I really really liked about this book - the writing. I enjoy this author’s style immensely and it was just so...easy to read? Writing flows nicely, dialogues are lively and emotional, there's lots of cute banter. And then, there are the characters.

Characters that are definitely very, very much flawed but at the same time, they're just...human. Like Darcy Barrett, the ultimate badass. But she's much more than that. Darcy is what you would call a bit of a screw-up. Her coping mechanisms consist of excessive wine-drinking and running away. And the more we get to know her, the more relatable she becomes. I'm not going to lie, there was one thing I really disliked about Darcy at first and it was the vibe that was coming off her excessively, a vibe that I seriously cannot stand: “not like other girls” girl. Only in the first two or three chapters, Darcy is sort of pitted against two very "girly" girls - Holly and Megan - and the writing makes it clear who is better. Then there are numerous comments throughout the book which make it seem as we're spoonfed about how "different" Darcy is. Thankfully, by the end of the book, that weird "pitting" thing is over and we are treated with a solid dose of girl solidarity, with Darcy and Megan having an honest conversation and Darcy helping Holly find a better job. Apart from that, I really loved the slow burn between Darcy and Tom and by “slow”, I mean YEARS in the making. I could feel the intensity of their repressed feelings pouring over the pages. What made their story even more interesting was a painfully complex dynamic between Darcy, Tom and Jaime (Darcy's twin brother, Tom's best friend). Like I mentioned earlier, these characters are clearly flawed...and Barrett twins are two spoiled selfish brats who treat Tom like their favourite toy to fight over, putting way too much pressure on the poor guy in the process. Maybe that's harsh but that's how it read. Thankfully, by the end of this story, they LEARN. And it was mighty satisfying to witness them actively and painfully learn and this kind of fucked-up dynamic between the three coming to an end. All in all, this book might not have been perfect but I loved it anyway. It sure made me long for more of Sally Thorne's sublime writing so I'll be (im)patiently waiting for whatever she comes up with next!
