wada sez: This week, I’m going to be re-serialising Josh van Reyk’s full-length fancomic, Spotlight: Stunticons! Conceived in the same vein as Transformers: War Journal, the comic is a big collaboration between a bunch of different Mosaic contributors. This time, there’s a much smaller set of creatives, with Josh van Reyk handling the entire script, and each artist team contributing the pages devoted to a specific Stunticon. The Stunticons are a favorite of van Reyk’s, and he’d written several Mosaic strips focused on them in the run-up to this project’s release: in order, these were “Hail To The King”, “Forgive And Forget”, and “The Bigger Picture”. This first page serves to re-establish the team, communicating their simple character traits: Wildrider is reckless, Breakdown is paranoid, Dead End is depressed, Drag Strip is a try-hard, and Motormaster hates all of them. We briefly see Hound, Ironhide, and Starscream in the background, all using their Cybertronian designs from The War Within. Now, for the rest of this series, I’m actually going to be shuffling the pages around a bit, which I realise is bad archival work but which is logistically necessary (and shouldn’t affect the story too much due to its already-unconventional structure); if you want to read the story exactly as it was originally published, visit the deviantART gallery above. In case you were wondering, “CWP” is van Reyk’s own brand, Choose Wisely Productions, which I’m not sure is a real company. Artist Boo had to drop out of the project at an early stage due to his IDW workload, but contributed two pin-ups for fans to color; you can find those below along with clean art for Griffith��s cover and some preview panels.

Iedereen die mij kent weet dat ik een grote Harry Potter fan ben, fan is eigenlijk zelfs licht uitgedrukt.. Ik heb alle boeken ontelbare keren gelezen en ken de films woord voor woord meepraten.. Daarnaast een leuke collectie al met sieraden en items zoals een wand, snitch, time-turner en een aantal funko’s. Dus toen ik hoorde dat een expositie van Harry Potter naar Nederland zou komen was ik dol enthausiast!! En vandaag kon ik er eindelijk heen! Vandaag dus een verslag van mijn dag als Harry Potter fan ipv als cwp topper!

Waarschuwing.. Ik ga jullie volspammen met foto’s en gejubel over Harry Potter!

De dag begon met een leuk autoritje naar Utrecht, want daar is de expositie. We waren wat vroeg (tijdslot) maar mochten toch al naar binnen. In de rij vroegen ze ons of we op de foto wilden. Natuurlijk! Met house sjaal en met wand natuurlijk!

Na dit foto moment gingen we naar binnen en was er eerst een sorting ceremony (sorry voor alle Engelse termen.. Ben ik gewend in Harry Potter en vind ik mooier..). Hier keek ik heel erg naar uit want hier had ik al over gelezen. Er konden alleen maar een paar meedoen aan de ceremony en als eerste werd er een kind gekozen. Toen was ik al bang dat ik niet gekozen zou worden. Maar als tweede werd ik gekozen! Heel erg bijzonder en leuke ervaring!

Daarna was er een ruimte waar er een video werd afgespeelt en waarna we doorliepen naar de Hogwarts Express. Wat indrukwekkend was die om te zien! Dit beloofde een geweldige dag te worden had ik al door!

Gryffindor Common Room

Even logeren in de Gryffindor Common Room! Nadat ik in Gryffindor gesorteerd was vond ik het natuurlijk helemaal leuk om hier rond te lopen. Eerst natuurlijk langs de Fat Lady en daarna konden we alles bekijken. Het bijzondere aan deze expositie is dat er overal items op display staan die ook daadwerkelijk in de films zijn gebruikt of gedragen! Al de details op de kostuums en de accessoires. Bijvoorbeeld de howler uit film 2 of de Marauders Map.

Classes and teachers

In het volgende gedeelte van de expositie waren de leraren en lessen. Al die boeken en items waren erg leuk om te zien! We begonnen bij waarzeggen en plantkunde, bij plantkunde konden we Mandrake’s “verpotten”.

Wat een kabaal! Maar wel heel erg gaaf! De details er van waren heel bijzonder. Ook alle gewaden, boeken en potions waren mooi om te zien. Want we kwamen daarna bij potions, het kantoor van Umbridge en daarna Defence against the dark arts. Hier was bijvoorbeeld de enge clown/boggart te zien uit de derde film.

Quidditch

Na al die lessen lekker wat sporten, hier waren alle items en outfits van quidditch (zwerkbal) te zien. Zoals bijvoorbeeld de bezems en de wedstrijd uniformen. Ook kon je zelf uitproberen met een quaffle te gooien.

Forbidden forest en Hagrids hut

Na quidditch door naar het forbidden forest, hier was het erg donker dus lastig om foto’s te maken. Hier waren bijvoorbeeld centaurs te zien, Aragog de grote spin en de hungarian horntail. Ook was de beul te zien en Buckbeak te zien de Hippogriff. Daarna een kijkje binnen in Hagrids hut. DIt was heel bijzonder, in de films zie je de verhouding/schaal niet heel erg maar nu wel. Hele grote meubels en het kostuum van Hagrid. Een lekkere GROTE luie stoel om uit te proberen. Die had ik wel mee naar huis willen nemen!

Dark arts

De volgende ruimte was vol met alle dingen die met de dark arts, Voldemort en de Death Eaters te maken hadden. Wel erg leuk en schattig om het kostuum te zien van Harry Potter van film 1, echt nog een klein jongetje was het toen! Ook was er een Dementor, deze bewoog wat door een blower en was best creepy om te zien. Er waren bliksem lichten als special effect. Helaas waren sommige gedeeltes te donker voor mooie foto’s/film. Zoals bijvoorbeeld de Dementor. Er mag ook geen flits gebruikt worden namelijk..

De gang/entree grote hal

Tussen de dark arts en de grote hal in was nog een ruimte met de borden met regels die Umbridge allemaal had ingesteld. Ook hingen hier de vlaggen van de huizen en het zwaard van Gryffindor.

De grote hal / Yule ball / Zonko

Alweer de laatste ruimte! Als je tot hier bent gekomen met lezen dan ben je of net zo’n Harry Potter gek als ik of gewoon gek xD Maar de laatste ruimte was erg leuk om te zien! Er was zoveel te zien namelijk, de triwizard tournament cup, Rita Skeeters boek over Dumbledore, de outfits en objecten van het Yule ball, Zonko producten, Fawkes de phoenix en Dobby!

Helaas was de expositie hier na alweer voorbij! We zijn nog wel even door de shop gegaan, deze hadden we wat groter en uitgebreider verwacht. Maar dit viel wat tegen. Wel hadden ze de Marauders Map die ik al heel erg lang wilde hebben voor mijn verzameling! Dus die is mee gegaan!

Zijn jullie geweest of gaan jullie? Ben erg benieuwd wat jullie er van vinden! Ik vond het in ieder geval te gek! Nu lekker op de bank dit blog aan het typen met op de achtergrond Harry Potter op de tv. Lekker even nagenieten!

The enby brushed a lock out of Cammi's hair and stared up at her affectionately. It had been a while since they felt such peace and relaxation with another person. Their green eyes locked with her amber ones, her cheeks were still warm and flush from the activity they had finished.

"How are you feeling, princess?" Lily asked, watching her eyes as Cammi's cheeks flushed hotter.

"D-do you really like calling me that so much?" Cammi squeaked out, her face felt almost feverish at this point. Lilith laughed softly, resting their hand on her cheek.

"I do. To me you're my princess, a woman I'd praise til the end of my life. Your kisses feel like blessings and whenever you touch me I can feel my world coming together. You make me the happiest person alive, Cammi." They were speaking softly as she slowly covered her mouth. She was easily flustered, and with how poetic Lily's words were...

A few moments after Lilith finished speaking, Cammi leaned forward and hugged them tightly. She buried her face in their neck and quietly murmured her appreciations.

The raven haired person laughed softly, wrapping their arms around their lover and pulling her close.

"Do you like it when I tell you sweet things?" They asked.

"It... It makes me... Feel shy... I-I don't know how... To... Handle it." She replied, her hands trembling with her shyness. The enby laughed again and pressed a soft kiss to her cheek before cupping her face and pulling it from their neck to look at her.

"Cammi, I know it's difficult now... But I promise you that you deserve this much affection and more. One day you'll be used to compliments and kindness. I want to make sure you know how incredible you are, and that others see your radiance as well." Their eyes were soft as the words spilled from their lips. Another kiss was placed tenderly on her lips.

Lilith would spoil their princess with love. Always and forever.

That night Cammi fell asleep nuzzled into Lilith's chest as they hummed quietly to her. They'd protect this woman with their life, no matter what.

But...

They didn't realize that they would truly need to put their life on the line for her soon.

No one expected a killer to be among the group.
