i am so, so happy to finally be able to introduce Calamari Cookie's crew, aka the crew of the Kraken Fortune! + a quick line-up of the goofballs 💕💕

EDIT 09/05/2024: how could i not notice shrimpy and crab overlapping on the lineup lol. this has been fixed!

*cracks knuckles* ill share sum facts for the cookies ive shown here on tumblr.. because oh boy i got more ocs that still need to debut on this blog

choco praline is very into embroidery and she loves to make small decorations for the citadel

choco praline also owns a cream cat named rocher. he's a very silly cat and he loves to sit on dark cacao's head or in his fluffy cloak. he also gets along with the cream wolves and they treat him like a little brother. affogato doesnt like him because he would jump on him out of nowhere and destroy his hair

choco praline and crunchy chip have a very sibling-like relationship! they love to spend time outside together

calamari cookie's tentacle hair can be controlled. she can make them move or even grab things. and he's got a TIGHT grab (he literally throws people with them)

calamari's crew is called the kraken fortune and they're a ragtag team of misfits!

ikura cookie comes from an archipelago somewhere far away from the duskgloom sea and the republic, it's a small fan-location i am currently working on. it's inspired by the edo period of japan

fried shrimp has the patience of a saint when dealing with his crew but when he loses his shit, hes a DIFFERENT cookie

fruit salad cookie acts like a parental figure to prune juice and he loves them a ton but doesnt want to admit it

fruit salad also teaches very complex spells of dessert magic, and while they can be demanding, they are literally cookie version of mrs. frizzle from magic school bus

apple pie cookie is more of a CROB oc, im even working on a fan location for her!!! shes 100% inspired by polish folk culture and so will be her location and cookies coming from it. i also use her as a cookiesona sometimes

meta-trivia but i currently have 3 oc x canon cookie yuri ships. damnit

while im taking a break, heres some doodles i was actually able to complete from my miserable sketching session. this is ikura cookie (she/her) and fried shrimp cookie (she/he). they are members of Kraken Fortune (aka calamari's ship name + crew). ikura is the navigator while shrimp is the carpenter of the ship who fixes things + is the last braincell of the crew

i have to spoil more oc lore and say that fried shrimp cookie of kraken fortune crew has a equally funny and energetic grandma....her name is shrimp okoy cookie and shes an old lady with an attitude so energetic for her old age that literally other old cookies cant stand her. plus she goes by her motto, which she would always tell little shrimpy before sleep, "remember shrimpy! everything's legal as long as there's no crème soldiers around!" (yes thats a reference) SO I CAN ABSOLUTELY IMAGINE SHE'D ABUSE THE KNOWLEDGE OF NUTMEG'S CURSE TO GET HIM INTO HELPING HER WITH THINGS 😭😭 and getting her pets out of trees

i was doing my 3rd art trade when my laptop decided to fuck around and lag lol. anyways, i guess i could spare an oc sketch.

this is shrimp okoy cookie, fried shrimp's weird grandma. she calls him "shrimpy" and would always tell him, "remember shrimpy! everything's legal as long as there's no crème soldiers around!". shes the real g, the grandma ever, the tax evader, a proud cookie of the sea who calls vanillian descendants "soft dorks" or "sugar weenies".
