Sweet and sour celery salad Firstly, I don’t really like celery and I don’t think I’m alone in this. It seems that Ixta is well aware of the public’s general disdain for this particular vegetable as the headnote reads ‘if you’re thinking of giving this salad a miss, think again’. A bold statement that I 100% stand behind! The only adjustment I made was to use chopped cashews instead of pine nuts, prices are going up and I can’t afford such luxuries anymore 😄💸 One last thing - I noticed all the recipes call for X twists of freshly ground pepper. I’m calling for an international ban on ‘1 tsp of freshly ground pepper’ in all cook books!
