I apologize if you wanted me to answer this privately, but figured I’d let everyone know.

Yeah, I’m fine. I’m just taken aback at how, like, how angry that anon was. I genuinely feel bad that I’ve caused them that much distress by simply saying “ok” to their request. It’s hard to live that way, reading way into other people’s responses like that. Between this and the noco anon freaking out that I posted an anti-noco submission (that was under a read more and tagged appropriately because it was so SO awful) I can’t help think that a callout post for me is in the works LMAO. I wonder if it would be best not to engage with people who send me hate, but at the same time, I really want the followers of this blog to have their voices heard. That said I don’t want this blog to become clogged up with discourse on whether or not I’m a bad person because 1. That’s not what this blog is supposed to be for, and 2. I’m a grown ass adult and I really don’t care what kids in the total drama fandom thinks of me. That said I’m not immune to criticism and I’m open to my behavior being corrected, but there’s definitely a line between “you said ok in a way that came off as passive aggressive” and “I would like to educate you on this topic where I think you may have a blind spot”, you feel me?

I guess I’ll ask you guys for the sake of gauging interest— would it be easier for you guys for me to delete anon hate? Or should I post it for full transparency? Or do you guys not care at all? Let me know in the replies.

Alright, on a more serious note, I’ve turned off anonymous asks until tomorrow.

This is all I’m going to say about the issue. CSA and grooming is very, very serious. I did not intend to sound backhanded. I was simply affirming that i would tag something for someone. What I said was not intended to belittle victims of CSA or anyone who found the toxic gossip train jokes triggering. I did not make the topic about myself by answering an anon who asked if I was doing okay in light of the discourse at hand.

I appreciate everyone checking in on me to make sure I’m okay. Please don’t harass each other, don’t doxx anyone, and have a good night. Feel free to continue to send me takes in the meantime, and always remember, if you’d like to send me something that you don’t want published, just let me know in the ask and I’ll answer it privately.

I was one of the anons who made a colleen joke i wanted to apologise to the anon who wanted a tw on them it was a really tasteless and bad joke and i didn’t see how it could affect others and also sorry to mod courtney for everything she’s had to go through yesterday

I know the primary purpose of this was to apologize to the anon who was affected by it & I can’t speak on that. but since you also mentioned me I will say there are no hard feelings on my end. Hindsight is 20/20 and I don’t think anyone could’ve predicted things would spiral so quickly /gen
