I was just looking thru Forever's VOD for context on these signs:

And it was when Richarlyson had taken his armor off to piss Forever off so Forever praised Chayanne for being obedient, & this was his response.

He's basically saying that because he mostly only has one parent, who tries his best to keep him alive, he can't afford to be as risky as Richarlyson, since his dad already stresses out caring for him on his own.

I wonder how many times he has held himself back from doing things he wanted, all the fun & reckless things, to not worry his dad. Even though he's supposed to be a child, he's being forced to grow up by his sense of responsibility. My sweet little egg.......

The other day Jaiden was talking on stream about how she feels bad about having shit memory during qsmp lore because things will happen and she will immediately forget about them and make things more complicated by accident, but I honestly think this is a very normal, human thing that most writers/storytellers are too scared to implement lmao MOST REAL PEOPLE HAVE BAD MEMORY. IT'S RARE TO REMEMBER EVERY DETAIL PERFECTLY. THEY MISS-REMEMBER ALL THE TIME, EVEN IN CRIMINAL COURTS & WRONG PEOPLE GET IMPRISONED LMAO

I honestly think she should just lean fully into it. It helps keep qsmp grounded when it's a normal occurrence for other characters to wipe out entire mountains by hand, or for one person to fight on their own enough mobs to wipe out the whole server, or with their redstone contraptions that are humanly impossible.

Jaiden is just a silly little guy trying her best.

Tubbo. My fascinating little guy.

He says he's an "eigth-impression type of guy" but it's more that he's just incapable of not being himself. He's an overly-casual guy that jokes around with everyone like they're long-time friends. Being laid on with everything from the beginning can be overwhelming for some people.

With the eggs, they appreciate this honesty, and feel more relaxed around him because of it. He's a "what you see is what you get" type of person. This can be comforting when so many other things are unpredictable in the island. Because of this, Tubbo has become friends with all the eggs without much effort.

While with Federation workers, this has had the opposite effect. When someone is as honest and straightforward as Tubbo, it's uncomfortable to keep so many secrets. With Cucurucho, this makes it so that he ghosts Tubbo and ignores him as much as he can, (and tho it got meta) with Agent 18, there was many moments when Agent 18 was frustrated at the limits of his perms that didn't allow him to shut Tubbo up, even if it could have gotten him into trouble.

While with Fred, Tubbo's genuineness was what made them open their heart to him, even when it endangered them.

And when you consider that at the very beginning, I'm talking Tubbo's first week in the server, before Cucurucho started to see Tubbo as an enemy, he seemed genuinely curious about Tubbo as a person. He'd randomly appeared before him for no reason. He'd let Tubbo question him. He'd observe him from afar like he was fascinated. There was a genuine curiosity there, but it disappeared when he realized Tubbo was hostile to him. What was he trying to find, exactly?? What was he looking for??

What is it about, Tubbo, hmmm, Cucurucho??

I just wanna gush a second about how when Tubbo logged in before today's server shutdown, Étoiles wanted to 1v1 him but when Étoiles lied and said he only had Prot 1 on his armor Tubbo didn't want to fight because he has Prot 3 so it "wouldn't be fair".

Even tho Tubbo was 1v3 killed the other day & had all his stuff taken, so he knows how vicious & unfair things can get, yet he wants to match Étoiles' "honorable" style of fighting.......

And after Étoiles killed Tubbo (he was afk) he didn't take his stuff because he wants to beat Tubbo properly, in a fair fight.

Just...... They're such shounen rivals.....

Everyone thought that the relationship between the Create people in QSMP would be like a war-room meeting for apocalypse but it's more like PTA moms gossiping about each other after class.

Today, Forever went to visit Tubbo, & before even talking to him he went snooping around his machines in silence with a mortified face. He looked STRESSED. Earlier today as well, Tubbo went to visit Pierre's base and he's always split between "HOW DOES THIS WORK?" and a snarky "....that machine is SO inefficient."

That's without mentioning that apparently after Mike saw Pierre's cement machine he destroyed his own & kept rebuilding it over & over again because he didn't feel satisfied.

Point is, it all connects back to Pierre. Pierre is the origin of all jealousy between the Create people in the island LMAO

The fact that a few days ago Tallulah's admin was playing Chayanne & in 5 seconds flat Phil was like "...you can't fool me, Tallulah, I see that lag step" lmao and then a day later he was listing all of Tallulah & Chayanne's mannerisms "Tallulah likes to communicate. She places a lot more signs that Chayanne. Chayanne speaks less but we just get each other. It speeds things up" and many more things about Chayanne's little habits--this man can LIST them. He knows his children by heart.

Even tho I have been wanting Purgatory DONE since, like, Day 2, I'd still kiss the admins hands for what they've done for q!Tubbo & q!Etoiles relationship.

Yes, Tubbo has always seen Etoiles for what he is, a strong, respectable guy, who is worth being the 'Hero of The Town', and he'd call Etoiles his rival, but it was mostly for a laugh. He was never serious about fighting him because he had much different priorities in Quesadilla Island.

Meanwhile, one of Etoiles first impressions of Tubbo was when Pierre was miserable because all his machines got nerfed for something Tubbo did, and Tubbo did not show an ounce of remorse (at least not in front of Pierre) so Etoiles just thought of Tubbo as a selfish, self-centered kid who didn't care who he screwed over as long as he could have his fun. Tubbo liked to run his mouth about being able to kick Etoiles ass, but it was all empty words. Etoiles never took their rivalry seriously, either, just as a "one day I'm gonna have to properly beat him so he understands we're not the same" and that's all.

BUT NOW. BUT NOW. THEY ACTUALLY. ACKNOWLEDGE EACH OTHER. Purgatory made it so they could see eye-to-eye for the first time. Actually see what kind of people they both are.

That Tubbo isn't only self-interested, but also a compassionate leader. That Etoiles isn't only a hero of the people, but also someone prideful to a fault. They can both see the best & worst in each other.

I'M VERY EXCITED FOR HOW THIS WILL AFFECT THEIR STORIES GOING FORWARD.
