***NEW POST - LINK IN BIO*** Eat The MEAT, Spare The Bones Review Yesterday was August 2 - which is now famously known as “Drishyam Day” and is almost celebrated as a full blown Kerala festival among all the Malayalees around the world, and I'd happily join them.  So, I thought it was only befitting for me to publish my first ever Christian Review of this renowned Movie on August 2.  After all, it is on this date that Georgekutty and his family made their most pious journey to a “Dhyanam” aka “Spiritual Retreat” at Thodupuzha.  I still reminisce about the Sermon preached at the Dhyanam, that was wonderfully recapped by Georgekutty in Sulaimanikka's tea stall. My review of this movie is just like the movie itself, based on a visual extrapolated insight, and using that to understand the deep Christian parallels drawn from its plot.  This is part 1 of my review, and it combines both parts of Drishyam.  As a result, it is a slightly long read, but absolutely worth it, even if you are just trying to read it from a philosophical perspective, and not a religious one. *** SPOILER ALERT *** Please do not read this review if you have not watched Drishyam 1 & 2.  I highly recommend you drop everything and watch those 2 movies in Malayalam right away before reading this review.  For everyone else, who has watched these movies the link for the full review is in my bio.
