beefleaf from tgcf for the ship game?
ship it for sure! I feel like you guys just want to hear me talk about ships I like. which, fair, admittedly
What made you ship it? black water arc was one of those things, like yi city arc, where I was reading it and going "what the fuck, how is this happening, I don't get things this perfectly tailored to my interests" in terms of the betrayal and emotional messiness and crunch (of broken bones). so yeah, once again, the fucked up got me.
What are your favorite things about the ship? other than the tragedy and betrayal I think what keeps me ruminating on this one past the end of the book is the unfinishedness of it. like, he xuan certainly wants it to be finished, the revenge is done and complete and that's supposed to be it, but as the fan scene in book five demonstrates (and also, arguably, him showing up at the feast at the end), clearly it's...not. there's still something there, unresolved, hovering.
but also the conflict of emotions! is a big thing here. where, like, he xuan seems to genuinely have some kind of affection for shi qingxuan (giving them chance after chance to leave shi wudu behind, the fan thing) and at the same time their friendship is at least partially motivated by keep-your-enemies-close but at the same time that doesn't seem to be all it is and at the same time there's definitely resentment there and frustration with shi qingxuan's privilege and ease (as opposed to what he xuan suffered in their place), and shi qingxuan is part of their revenge but also at least a part of he xuan would like to leave them out of it (again, the repeated nudges to leave shi wudu to his fate). and at the same time. and so on.
and then post series! he xuan is/was shi qingxuan's best friend and at the same time the murderer of their brother and at the same time the terrifying specter that destroyed their life and at the same time their friend. and all these things coexisting at the same time, side by side, making this so profoundly emotionally messy both during and post-canon.
Is there an unpopular opinion you have on your ship? I don't think so? I don't (again) really know what's popular/unpopular when it comes to this ship, so it's a little hard for me to assess what of my opinions would be popular/unpopular. but I don't get the feeling that any of my opinions are particularly on the un side.
maybe just that I wish more post-canon fic would explore more of shi qingxuan's conflicted feelings, particularly their fear but also those feelings around their grief for shi wudu, who they loved very much. I feel like that sometimes gets less page-time in post-canon fic, and I think that's because shi qingxuan seems to have accepted their lot with a fair amount of cheer, but I think of the way that they react to realizing that he xuan is the one with them:
Shi Qingxuan clutched that familiar, beloved fan, his neck stiff, and slowly turned to "Hua Cheng." [...] Shi Qingxuan gripped the fan, veins bulging on the back of his hand. Red flooded his eyes bit by bit. [...] Shi Qingxuan was still gripping the Wind Master Fan, absentmindedly answering the others' jokes even as his complexion alternated between red and white and cold sweat dripped from his forehead. He looked up like he wanted to ask a question, but the person who could answer him was already gone. [Seven Seas translation]
that's fear! or at the very least some intense discomfort. and I think that's something very fun to chew on.

[ f i c ] But I know You
Before episode 8 airs and it all gets invalidated, I wanted to post this ode to everything we know about Lu Guang, from Cheng Xiaoshi's perspective. Because while we don't know facts... we actually do know a lot about who Lu Guang *is*. About 80% of this is pulled from S1 and the shorts, the rest is embellishment and conjecture :)
Read on ao3
---
“Doesn’t it ever bother you,” Xu Shanshan says with pursed lips, “that we don’t know anything about Lu Guang?”
Cheng Xiaoshi’s head swings towards her so fast he pulls a muscle in his neck almost drops his quail eggs. “Just because he won’t tell you his zodiac sign doesn’t give you an excuse to talk behind his back,” Cheng Xiaoshi snaps. There’s a touch of acid in his voice that has her leaning back and putting up her hands defensively.
“Geez, sorry, I’m not trying to badmouth him, but you can’t tell me it’s not a little odd?”
“Hey, now.” Qiao Ling says in warning and waves the strainer spoon in the air between them. She scoops some of the now-cooked meat from the hot pot onto their plates and adds calmly, “You know Lu Guang is a private person, there’s nothing wrong with that.”
Xu Shanshan makes a face and opens her mouth, but Dong Yi puts a hand on her arm and Qiao Ling takes the meat from her plate and shoves it in her mouth. “Shush, my dearest Shanshan, he’s coming back.”
Cheng Xiaoshi looks up to see Lu Guang on the other side of the restaurant, making his way back from the restroom. He sinks down into his seat and mumbles, “I don’t need to know his birthday to know he’s my best friend.”
Xu Shanshan rolls her eyes but luckily stays silent, and that’s that.
---
It’s not the first time Cheng Xiaoshi has been asked about Lu Guang. In high school, it was easy to shrug it off - he’d just met the guy, why would he know anything about his family or background? They didn’t really talk about those things.
In college it became much harder. Oh, you met when he transferred? Where was he transferring from? It was harder to say that they didn’t talk about those things. They were rooming together, after all. How was it possible that nothing about his childhood had ever come up? How could he not even know his age? And once people realized that it wasn’t Cheng Xiaoshi just being scatterbrained or pretending he didn’t know, it turned into isn’t it a little suspicious that he won’t talk about his past? The 'even with you' was implied.
Rumors spread. Some of them were funny. Others not so much. Throughout it all, Cheng Xiaoshi doubled down on his stance that he didn’t need to know anything about Lu Guang in order to know what kind of person he was.
Even now, Cheng Xiaoshi doesn’t actually know much about Lu Guang’s life, despite being friends with him since they were sixteen. And that may not be accurate - it’s true that Lu Guang has never actually told them their age. They've only assumed he's six months younger than Cheng Xiaoshi, given they were in the same grade and Lu Guang’s birthday is six months after Cheng Xiaoshi's. That fact, gathered after monumental effort pestering between him and Qiao Ling, is already rare.
Lu Guang has never talked about his parents or family beyond a vague shrug and an offhand comment about having a boring, normal, maybe rather serious upbringing. Cheng Xiaoshi gets the feeling he didn’t have a particularly loving family, and he knows that Lu Guang’s decision to forgo any other career prospects and join Cheng Xiaoshi in his business venture put an end to the already-strained relationship he had with his parents. They hadn’t even come to graduation, and Cheng Xiaoshi had fretted about that for weeks after, feeling oddly guilty for driving a wedge between someone who had parents, even if the relationship had been crumbling piece by piece since long before they’d even met.
Lu Guang’s life before transferring schools and meeting Cheng Xiaoshi on that basketball course is a black hole, like a book whose foreword has been stained black by a careless spill of ink. Sometimes it doesn’t feel that careless though: there's a cloud of mystery swirling about him, this sense that there's so much Lu Guang is holding back. But Cheng Xiaoshi tries not to take it personally. Lu Guang has stuck by his side and supported him in countless ways throughout the years - Cheng Xiaoshi can return the favor by not prying into what is clearly a life Lu Guang has no desire to share or even remember.
He doesn’t need it anyway. Cheng Xiaoshi may not know much about Lu Guang’s life, but he knows who Lu Guang is. He knows Lu Guang loves cats, his favorite book is Pride and Prejudice, which is where he got their temporary cat’s name from. His music taste alternates between boring classical music as one would expect and, surprisingly, hip hop. Cheng Xiaoshi had wondered about the hip hop for a while until he realized that Lu Guang was using the steady beat and rhythmic lyrics as static noise to help him drown out his brain when it insisted on overthinking. His favorite tea is green Oolong brewed for exactly two and half minutes but he prefers coffee in the afternoon, medium roast with one single sugar cube. He has nearly non-existent spice tolerance, but somehow can handle squeezing inordinate amounts of wasabi into his soy sauce. He sleeps in loose shorts and a t-shirt in summer and sweats and an old cardigan during winter but he can’t actually fall asleep if his feet are cold so he prefers showering at night to make sure he’s warm before he goes to bed. He loves sleep but can’t seem to get enough of it and wears computer glasses because his eyesight gets strained easily after staring at a screen for too long.
Cheng Xiaoshi knows what Lu Guang’s face looks like under the afternoon sunlight when he’s fallen asleep reading on the couch during the weekends. He knows what Lu Guang’s face looks like during the morning shift after a sleepless night, the way his eyes squint slightly as if still gritty and the way his face turns even stonier when he tries to resist the pull of exhaustion. He doesn’t get to see it often, but he’s caught a soft smile thrown his way here and there when Lu Guang isn’t expecting him to look. When caught, there’s a good chance he’ll end up blushing – for someone so calm and in control, he’s surprisingly awkward and shy when made the center of attention, even worse in front of a camera. If Cheng Xiaoshi doesn’t rile him up by making dumb jokes or poking fun at him, he’ll stand there squirming uncomfortably the entire time.
He has a good sense of who Lu Guang is in terms of morals too. He’s not always comfortable with them, because Lu Guang is pragmatic to a fault and has no qualms about lying. Sometimes it has been for Cheng Xiaoshi’s benefit, like when he lied to Qiao Ling about it being him that broke her special cups instead of Cheng Xiaoshi. But other times it hasn’t. Cheng Xiaoshi isn’t sure he’ll ever fully get over Lu Guang making him believe there was hope that he might save Chen Xiao’s mom. Sometimes Cheng Xiaoshi feels like he cares more about the mission and letting the past be than about the people they’re supposed to be helping.
But that’s not fair, because he’s seen how much Lu Guang cares. Once, in college, they’d found a bird with an injured wing outside of their dorm. The dorm mother had scolded them for trying to feed it and told them it was best to leave wildlife alone. Lu Guang had nodded obediently, but Cheng Xiaoshi caught him the next morning trying to feed it before everyone else woke up. He’s the kind of person who pretends to be respectful and obedient but hasn’t listened to authority a single day in his life. And that’s the thing, it’s so easy to mistake Lu Guang’s sullen tone and deadpan face as indifference, but Cheng Xiaoshi is lucky enough to be one of the things Lu Guang has chosen to care about, and it sometimes overwhelms him the lengths that Lu Guang will go to for him. Cheng Xiaoshi will never take for granted the many nights Lu Guang has patiently sat by his side in bed, holding Cheng Xiaoshi after yet another nightmare despite the impact to his already fragmented sleep. Lu Guang never asks for thanks, never brings it up in daylight at all, in fact, but those quiet moments when the only solid thing Cheng Xiaoshi can cling to is Lu Guang speak volumes. Cheng Xiaoshi will spend the rest of his life trying to return that feeling of safety and belonging that Lu Guang makes him feel.
Overall, Lu Guang is an understated person: he claims he has no skills, but he’s one of the smartest people Cheng Xiaoshi has ever met and his photographic memory made him one of the top-ranked students in college. He’s finicky and fastidious, but he can’t remember to water the plants for the life of him, and he doesn’t seem to know how to dress himself so Cheng Xiaoshi has been picking his clothes for years and making sure he doesn’t go out in the summer with a hoodie still on or in the winter without a proper scarf, gloves, and hat. He lets Cheng Xiaoshi drag him to get boba when he’d rather read a book, and agrees to learn a silly dance for fun despite the fact that he’s not coordinated at all outside of playing basketball.
It’s nice that Cheng Xiaoshi can nitpick something at least, given how Lu Guang spends most of his time lecturing Cheng Xiaoshi. And even that, as opposed to being born out of arrogance or frustration, is actually the way that Lu Guang shows affection, even if he’ll never admit it. Being vulnerable isn’t in his wheelhouse, but Cheng Xiaoshi has learned how to pick up on the signs of Lu Guang being worried about him or, in a twisted way, trying to fill in the gaps that Cheng Xiaoshi’s lack of parents left. Enjoying being scolded by your best friend may seem like an odd relationship from an outside perspective, but it works and he wouldn’t trade a second of it.
All in all, he doesn't need a birthplace, or the name of his parents or his elementary school, or even his year of birth, in order to know Lu Guang. Nothing new he could learn about Lu Guang could change the way Cheng Xiaoshi knows who he is inside, and that's all that matters.

Blorbos From BL That Will Make Me Protect Them At EVERY FUCKING COST
tagged by @elizabethsebestianhedgehog thank you! <3
when I'm tagged in "make a list/what/who's your fav X, I blank out and have never enjoyed anything ever" etc etc with that out of the way! off the top of my head:
Let me divide it into 2 categories actually: characters and actors
Characters:
To My Star 1&1: Han Ji Woo and Kang Seo Joon
Yes s2 took us by surprise with the tone change, but it worked as and so well. They make me eat drywall and climb ceilings etc etc. TMS 1&2 is my favorite bl out of all countries ever, do with that information what you will. that jacket throw was felt by everyone in the village trust me i was there
Tumblr media
The Warp Effect: Army and Joe
T H EM! com👏mu👏ni👏ca👏tion👏 Gmmtv fucked up FlukeThor but ArmyJoe stay iconic. this gif by @tenprems lives in my eyeballs rent free
Tumblr media
Laws of Attraction: Cha(r)n and Tin(n) and GALAXIA and Rose and Maya
... do I even need to say anything? all iconing in their own way
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Under The Skin: Shen Yi and Du Cheng
Okay, it's a cbromance BUT IT COUNTS because I said so. The enemies to lovers is THERE, the devotion, the admiration, the lust, the height difference. They went from "get out, you killed him" to "we can't let snipers shoot, my friend is in there". S2 when I am vibrating out of my skin. Fanfic writers I owe you my life.
Tumblr media
Choco Milk Shake: Uncle and Milk
just s2 when.
Tumblr media
Only Friends: Boston and Nick
Look, out of all that was going on I was invested in them the most, and the editing failed them. I was open about not expecting happy endings for any pairing (though we all knew that the branded pairs would get them), but I still wanted it to make sense. Theirs didn't for me. I wish we got the OF they wanted to make: with 6 forever-side-characters actors. im still here
Tumblr media
2. Actor pairings I'd die to see in something better than they have been in so far (aka I like their chemistry but the script was lacking):
Aou and Boom (We Are ain't it either, sorry)
Tumblr media
Earth and Bank (Destiny Seeker was fine, and we do not speak of Marry Go Round. let my man death grip his mans neck to all his and mine content)
Tumblr media
ETA: Toru and First (their chemistry in Y Destiny was through the fucking roof, War of Y was a mess (derogatory). And now they're not even a thing anymore)
Tumblr media
Okay woah that's too long already lol
Tagging everyone who want to share their blorbos! <3

Jueying has the same initials as big bro Jingyi, and is 50x more chaotic. I imagine if she'd been in wwx+lwj generation, the only person who'd broken more rules than her would be wwx, but I might just be exaggerating.
"Shameless!" Lan Qiren barks, throwing a scroll at Wei Wuxian's head. "How can you say that lingli and resentment are the same? To think that I should have lived to hear such words from the dashixiong of Yunmeng Jiang!"
Wei Wuxian leans backwards, missing the scroll by a hairsbreadth as it flies over his shoulder and hits Nie Huaisang full in the face. “But Laoshi!” he yelps, leaping into the aisle between his seat and Jiang Cheng’s as Lan-laoshi grabs another scroll. “Lingli is energy, and resentment is energy. I’ve dissected walking corpses with our sect’s Pan-yishi, and we found out that resentment moves through human meridians just like—”
Lan Qiren lifts the second scroll, looking more incensed than ever; but before it can leave his hand, a crash and a scream echo in the white-pebbled courtyard outside the Lanshi, followed by a girl’s raucous shriek of laughter and a tremendous bang that makes Lan-laoshi blanch.
“Wangji,” he says, sounding deceptively calm. “Nephew. Go outside, see what the matter is, and tell me that Jueying did not light another firework on the roof of the Yashi.”
Lan Zhan rises and goes to the door, peering out into the courtyard with the resigned air of a monk who had caught his novices gambling when they were meant to be making blessing talismans.
“Dishonesty is forbidden, Shufu,” Lan Zhan says at last. At the front of the room, Lan Qiren puts his head in his hands. “But it was not another firework. Another six is likely nearer the mark.”
“Nie-xiong, who are they talking about?” Wei Wuxian whispers, sidling back to his desk. “That sounded like a guniang’s personal name. Do you know who Jueying is?”
Unexpectedly, Nie-xiong laughs.
“You know my Da-ge and Lan Xichen are married, don’t you?”
Somehow, Wei Wuxian had managed to forget that fact, for the current Lan-zongzhu’s elder son is much older than Lan Zhan, just as Nie-zongzhu is more than twice Nie Huaisang’s age.
“Well, I remember now,” he nods. “But who’s this Jueying-guniang, then?”
“My niece. Da-ge and Xichen-gege have two children—Jingyi-didi was born when Wangji and I were three, and Jueying came along two years later. She’s nearly thirteen now, and according to Laoshi—” and here Wei Wuxian hears another great crash from the courtyard, followed by the deafening whoop of a dozen fireworks going off at once, “—she’s responsible for half the gray hairs on his head.”
“Jueying!” Lan Qiren screeches, now tearing down the stony path outside the Lanshi. “Come down from the roof before you break your neck!”
“I won’t!” a young girl’s voice says defiantly. “Shugong, if I come down, you’re just going to catch me and send me back to the Baoshi again!”
“Of course I am! The point of punishments is that you do not like them,” Lan Qiren shoots back. “Now come down before I count five and go back to finish the laundry, or I will send your shushu up to get you!”
“Which one of you is Shushu?” Wei Wuxian wonders, before snorting as Lan Zhan rolls up his sleeves and marches out of the Lanshi like a soldier going to war. “Ah, looks like Shufu is Lan Zhan. What do they call you?”
“Technically, I’m Shushu,” Huaisang grins. “A-Yi and A-Ying call Wangji-xiong shufu most of the time. But I encourage them at every turn, so Laoshi won’t make me lift a finger to stop them when they misbehave.”
In the end, it takes Lan Zhan nearly half an hour to catch his recalcitrant niece; and after Lan Jueying has been safely bundled off the roof, one of the Nie disciples volunteers to escort her back to the Cloud Recesses’ nursery.
“Ying’er has her punishments there,” Nie Huaisang explains, when Wei Wuxian asks why a thirteen-year-old would be studying in the Baoshi. “When she misbehaves, she has to do laundry for the babies.”
“Poor xiao-guniang!” Wei Wuxian sighs, recalling similar punishments at Lotus Pier. “If she’s being punished, I’ll give her the all-purpose laundry talisman I invented last year. She’s still young, and even if she doesn’t listen to Lan-laoshi, she should be out playing in the sun instead of washing clothes.”
Nie Huaisang nods approvingly.
“She loves everyone who helps her skip her punishments,” he says conspiratorially. “If you want to make friends with Wangji-xiong, the quickest way would be to make friends with her.”
The back of Wei Wuxian’s neck starts to burn.
“Do you really think so?” he asks, fighting back the urge to check his brow for fever. “He must care for his zhinu and zhizi very dearly, mustn’t he?”
“En, he does. Both of the little ones drive him mad, but he worships the ground they walk on.”
Somehow, the thought of a younger Lan Zhan watching over two little children makes Wei Wuxian’s throat ache.
He does not dare to think on the matter too long—at least not now, not when Lan Zhan has yet to say a friendly word to him. But if he were to see such a sight tomorrow, then perhaps—!
“Go visit the Baoshi tomorrow,” Huaisang advises him. “Ying’er will be there, and you can meet Jingyi. He’s not so much younger than we are, you know. You two can be good friends, and then you’ll surely be able to get along with Wangji.”
Wei Wuxian inclines his head, feeling strangely bashful at the prospect.
“All right, then,” he says, speaking to the fallen scroll abandoned near his knee. “I will.”

As much as I loved NHS & JC's friendship, & would love to see more of it, & as tragic as how lonely they are post-canon with all the trauma & sadness they have to navigate through is, I don't think there is a chance of them ever rekindling their friendship.
Even before NHS's revenge was unraveled, in the present time, there didn't seem to be any closeness between JC & NHS. they hardly had any interaction post-Cloud Recesses (none in the book iirc). but after Guanyin temple, the chances are zero, methinks. There's nothing in his world dearer to Jiang Cheng than Jin Ling, and Nie Huaisang made the unforgivable mistake of endangering Jin Ling twice (once in his family's ancestral hall & once in Yi City), Scarring him for life (I think Jin Ling could do without going through the rest of his life with the trauma of hearing the crack of his Xiao Shushu's windpipe being crushed as Zombie!NMJ suffocated him with one hand with a force that literally lifted Jiggy by his neck, after he was mutilated & had a sword deep in his chest, in front of Jin Ling), and made Jin Ling the leader of a nearly destroyed sect that could not possibly be rebuilt to its former glory, especially at Jin Ling's young age when he was even younger than Jiang Cheng himself was when he was forced into such a difficult position & made to grow up so fast.
Well, NHS brought back JC's brother and helped him clear his reputation & gave JC the truths & a much-needed closure & got the brothers close to reconciliation, I hear you say. But the thing is that even WWX himself doesn't seem grateful. He clearly thinks that what NHS did was only in service to his revenge plot-which WWX doesn't seem very impressed with. He's especially disgusted at what NHS did to Meng Shi's body- & not out of care for justice & WWX. Talking about it, I don't think WWX & NHS would become friends again, either.
So why would JC think any different?
Even if they wanted to continue their friendship with him again- which they wouldn't- how could they trust this person? What they know of him now is completely different than the image he had shown them for years!
The Bottom line is that yeah, that's yet another nice relationship ended forever. They both need new friends & a solid support system now. 'Cause I don't think LXC would be overly eager to continue his friendship with NHS either. (Gimme some Nie Huaisang & Lan Jingyi interaction. NHS should adopt him to both solve his lack of heir issue & for the fuck of it. 'Cause I think it would be funny)

saw the ask about Tan Jianci knowing how to do latain dancing, so prompt idea:
Shen Yi and Du Cheng has to go undercover in a dance competition to find a murder that's trying to cut down their competition the illegal way. Du Cheng doesn't know how to dance and is groaning at the idea of learning. Shen Yi keeps quiet when they are briefed in the mission: go undercover as participants and find the killer. Du Cheng expects them both to be miserable and is already dreading the fancy clothes they are gonna be practicing in. Until Shen Yi shows up in the practice room, earlier than him, and starts his stretching exercises. "How can a person's body bend that way?" They might or might not end up winning the competition in addition to catching the culprit.
Lmao, Du Cheng with his two left feet
When Du Cheng found out that he and Shen Yi had to go undercover in a dance competition to try and find a murderer…he was less than thrilled
He had two left feet and was as uncoordinated as a brand new baby deer.  In short, he was a terrible dancer
Shen Yi, however, didn’t seem to share his same sentiment…in fact, he didn’t say anything the entire debriefing
After the debriefing, Du Cheng let out a heavy sigh as he and Shen Yi stepped out of Commissioner Zhang’s office
“Well, this is going to be a pain in the ass…”
“Actually, I’m quite looking forward to it”
Du Cheng looked at him in surprise
“You’re what?”
Shen Yi just smiled
“I’ll see you in the dance studio bright and early tomorrow”
He then walked off, Du Cheng staring after him with wide eyes
The next day, Du Cheng stepped into the practice room, already dreading what was about to happen, when he noticed that Shen Yi was…already inside.  And stretching
‘There’s no way a human being is able to fucking bend like that’
“What are you, a human gumby?”
Shen Yi jumped in surprise and turned to look at Du Cheng, who was dressed just like him in a form fitting black t-shirt and form fitting black pants with flared bottoms, before he smiled
“Sorry, I was just stretching”
“How the fuck are you able to bend like that?”
Shen Yi smiled
“Practice”
Du Cheng stared at him for a moment before he narrowed his eyes
“Practice…do you actually know how to dance?”
Shen Yi looked away, a little ashamed, causing Du Cheng to huff
“And just when were you planning on telling me this?”
Shen Yi rubbed the back of his neck and continued to not make eye contact
“Uh…never?”
Du Cheng huffed
“What, were you afraid I was going to make fun of you?”
Shen Yi nodded, never looking up at him
“Yeah…”
Du Cheng frowned
“Do you really think so low of me?”
Shen Yi looked at him with wide eyes and shook his head
“No, no!”
He then sighed heavily
“I used to dance and take lessons when I was younger and a lot of people teased me because of it.  They said it was weird for boys to dance”
Du Cheng looked at him before he stepped forward and reached out, cupping his face in his hand, making him look up at him with wide eyes
“When we win this competition, those people who said it was “weird for boys to dance” are gonna look real fucking stupid, aren’t they?”
Shen Yi blinked before he laughed and nodded
“Yeah”
Du Cheng smiled and nodded as he stepped away and hummed
“Well, at least one of us knows how to dance…I actually have hope for us now”
Shen Yi chuckled
“I’m sure you’re not that bad”
“I’ve been told I have two left feet”
Shen Yi smiled
“But with practice, you’ll get better”
Du Cheng scoffed
“At least one of us has confidence”
Shen Yi smiled
“You’ll be fine”
Over the course of the next couple of weeks, Du Cheng and Shen Yi practiced diligently to master their dance for the dance competition, but the first few days were rough
And it wasn’t for a lack of trying on either man’s part, they really did try, but Shen Yi hadn’t danced in years and Du Cheng, true to what he had told Shen Yi, had two left feet
Their instructor, thankfully, was very patient with both of them and by the end of the training session, Shen Yi and Du Cheng were ready for the competition
The day of the competition, Du Cheng and Shen Yi, competed against other dancers and somehow won the competition
As they were accepting their award, Du Cheng heard something creak above them so he looked up, just in time to see the light hanging above them break off and come careening down towards him and Shen Yi
His eyes widened and he quickly spun Shen Yi out of the way, just as the light crashed into the stage floor
All of the contestants screamed as Du Cheng held Shen Yi protectively, using his body as a shield to hide him from the dust or any debris that could fly up and hit him
They then both turned to see who the culprit was and when they saw someone making a run for it, Du Cheng pointed to them
“POLICE!”
He and Shen Yi then took after them, both men taking the culprit down before they called in reinforcement to not only take the culprit away but make sure no one was hurt by the fallen light
While the culprit was being led away, Du Cheng turned to Shen Yi and smiled
“We got the culprit and the gold.  Not bad, huh?”
Shen Yi laughed
“Not bad at all”
He then looked at Du Cheng, his face softening
“Thanks.  For uh…saving me”
Du Cheng tsked
“Of course.  What, you thought I’d just let the light fall on you and crush you?  Come on, Shen Yi, have a little more faith in me”
Shen Yu laughed
“Sorry, sorry”
Du Cheng then reached out and wrapped an arm around his waist, pulling him close
“Come on, we have to go celebrate.  We did just win, after all”
Shen Yi smiled
“Let’s go then”
They then left the competition, trophy in hand, to go celebrate and if they kept taking dance lessons and practicing afterwards...no one commented on it
(They may or may not have recreated the dance at their wedding for their first dance to show everyone why they were the best partners, not only in life but on the dance floor as well)

@battleguqin x
A familiar face was something that the forensic artist saw when they crossed paths, it was Sizhui that he ended up running into. Not something that was once living. The blizzard tended to make things difficult especially when one was trying to walk through the blowing snow, it wasn’t like they would be able to get their hands on a working vehicle. Most had been destroyed from the explosion that filled the streets, an explosion that caused the air to be filled with nothing, but fire and ash. Shen Yi was safe when the bombs fell, he found a place that thankfully didn’t end up in the blast range, but he was missing something as well. He was searching for Du Cheng, but luck hasn’t been on his side trying to find the tall man despite how many times he has gone looking already. The officer didn’t know what to do, he didn’t know where to look now. It was difficult, should he stop looking? Shen Yi didn’t know, he just wanted to find him. He just wanted to know that he was okay.
The building was uncomfortable to the point of where it could make one’s hair stand up on the back of their neck, it was different from patrolling the streets as a cop. “I do to.” The storm wasn’t helping either especially with the sound of the swirling snow that surrounded them, it would easily cover the noise of anything depending on what decided to make an appearance. Sizhui was someone that Shen Yi could trust, the man did help him with the incident that landed him in the hospital. It might have been luck that he was able to survive this mess that surrounded them, it wasn’t going to be easy for things to get to normal though. It would take time to fix the ruined buildings, the destruction that filled the streets and even more so. It most likely was never going to be normal again though.
It seemed that they easily walked into something that came straight out of a horror movie, not that they had lived through one already. Fingers shifted to the gun that rested against his lips, it was the only source of defense that he had. A weapon that he learned to use thanks to Du Cheng, bullets were a bit hard to come by, but he snagged what he could when he was able to. Glancing around the empty desks, he glanced to see if there was a reason why they left in the first place. Everything seemed normal though. There weren’t any signs that something or someone decided to enter this place besides them “I don’t know, everything does seem normal. There could be a few things missing though if they had to leave in a hurry.”
The weather outside the doors would make it difficult to travel safely, it would be difficult to see wandering through the streets. It was safer to stay inside for the night and wait for morning to come especially if the leftover dead decide to make an appearance. A small breath escaped from him “I don’t know, it might not be safe to do so.” The dog would give them an advantage to figure out if they weren’t alone in this place, it was quiet standing inside this room besides the hum from the flickering lights. He would make sure to praise Duke after the dog finished with his searching.
Glancing at the creepy hallway that lingered nearby, fingers moved to rest against said gun “Maybe someone is back there?”

Documenting Fox Spirit Matchmaker fan nonsense Part 1/x
White-haired Cheng Yi is back so I went to Twitter and Weibo to see the chaos and was not disappointed. Since I am at the mercy of Google translate when trawling through Weibo it makes the experience extra trippy. Fans are going feral over this look in the most entertaining way. Deserved tbh.
The visuals of this drama look like they will truly be S+ tier.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
There's very intricate detailing in the dragon hair accessory, leather armor, textures of the fabric and belt decor. A lot of it looks done by hand. The dragon is so well made it looks like it could unwrap itself from his hair and fly away.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Next, the hair. A cosplayer and professional costume designer 真的菜菜 commented on the difficulties of white hair in costume dramas here. First, the wig has to be made from real hair to look and move naturally. Then it has to be bleached so only very good quality hair can be used and it is very expensive. More so if the wig is long. Finally, this hair color is "unforgiving" to skin tone and facial features. Not everyone looks good. But Cheng Yi pulls it off very well. She also said Ying Yuan’s white hair is really the most beautiful white hair style she has seen.
Lastly, the fit and look of the overall costume. The hair, black/gold combination and the cut of the outfit are very, very flattering. Cheng Yi is pretty much a walking clothes hanger (lean build, fairly tall, long neck, long limbs, small waist) but somehow this costume makes his neck and legs look longer and emphasizes his waist. In the first picture, he's just tilting his head back so the stylist can fix his hair...why does he look so good?

You can get an idea of how much fans are liking this look here.

Butter Tea
Bosch w. x gn! reader
i think i'm better at writing short stories than a big one. maybe i should go back to doing short stories. this is another morning with bosch. inspired by hozier-too sweet
Tumblr media
Bosch sat at the kitchen table, sipping his cup of Butter tea as the rich aroma filled the air.
Still groggy from sleep, you dragged yourself into the kitchen and made your way over to him.
You wrapped your arms around Bosch from behind, resting your face against his shoulder. He chuckled, setting his mug down as he leaned into you.
"Long night?" Bosch said as he glanced at you.
You nodded, tightening your grip. "Yeah, my head hurts. I couldn't get any sleep last night, no thanks to you." you murmured, voice muffled by his shirt.
“You're fine. It wasn't that bad.”
“I don’t want to hear it. I saw you sleeping like a baby this morning.” you groaned.
He reached up to gently stroke your head. His fingers soothed the throbbing tension you felt.
"There’s tea on the stove if you want. It’ll probably help with your headache.”  he said, taking another sip of his mug.
You let out a tired noise, but feeling Bosch’s presence was already starting to dissipate your fatigue. So you pressed a kiss on the side of his neck and pushed yourself off of him to move towards the fridge.
He caught your arm before you moved any further. “Hey, was someone here yesterday, when I was out?”
Uh oh.
“Um, I don’t think so. It was just me .” Bosch's question halted you in your tracks, sending a wave of panic through you.
“Then why is half of my Yak butter missing.”
Damn he noticed. Abort. Abort. “Oh, haha. Is it? How weird.” You awkwardly chuckled.
“You didn't notice? At all?” He raised his brow.
You shook your head.
“So why is Yi Cheng’s jacket here?”
No way.
You turned to see the man in question’s jacket neatly folded by the door. He asked if you and Bosch had any Yak butter to spare to give to his father, since he was in the area. In exchange for your next three meals at Jumping Shrimp be free.
In all fairness, you really should’ve asked Bosch. But you hoped to replace it before he came back. Sucks that it slipped your mind.
“You know I wouldn’t have minded if you gave some to Yi Cheng, but you should’ve at least told me first.”
“I know, I'm sorry. I meant to run to the store before you caught on.” Now feeling bad about the whole ordeal.
“That’s not the problem. The problem was that you wanted to hide it from me. When you didn’t need to.”
Well when he put it like that, it really did make you feel like a terrible human being. “I guess I didn’t think of it that way.” You said, adverting your eyes from his gaze. “But I am sorry for going behind your back.”
Bosch stayed silent as he processed your words. Finally, he sighed, releasing your arm.“It’s fine. Just make sure to tell me next time.”
“Of course.” You replied rubbing circles on his back.
He hummed, moving his arm around your waist to pull you closer.
You cracked a smile and wrapped your arms around his neck, making him engulf you in a hug.
“You're too sweet for me.” you said, pressing a light kiss on his lips.

Xichen: A-Yao Huangdi.
*bow*
Mingjue: is it necessary? All the kneeling, bowing?
Xichen: yea.
Yao: no no. You don't need to. It makes me nervous.
Get up Huan. *supports him* my concubines can only bow during ceremonies.
Xichen: dage, we're his concubines.
A-Yao Huangdi. Let's go on a date.
Just the three of us, and team dimple breathing down our necks.
Mingjue: you want his chaos gang to breathe down your neck?!
Xichen: they do worst, dage.
That's just the tip of the iceberg.
It's like being haunted by three ghosts.
Yao: *laughing*
*opens fan* sounds great, A-Huan. I would love to go on a date with you two. And team d won't interrupt us.
Mingjue: are you sure?!
Xichen: it was dage's idea to go on a date with you, so he doesn't want any interruptions.
Yao: ohh. Really? Dage I'm so touched.
Mingjue: I'm just doing this for healthy bonds. That's it. *blushing*
Yao: *smiling*
Xichen: we were thinking of your private imperial inn. The one with the bedroom that doesn't have a roof and a hall of windows.
Mingjue: and the moat.
Also your inn is covered by flowers.
Yao: ah excellent tastes. So be it.
Now let me freshen up.
Mingjue: diva, you better not keep us waiting.
Yao: *blushing* aw dage. I....I just have to powder my dimples. *walks off*
Xichen: awwwwww.
Mingjue: powder his dimples?! He takes a whole 2 hours to get ready!
Xichen: relax. He's an emperor.
Mingjue: a royal pain.
~~
Mo xuanyu: guys guys guys! Code red!
Xue yang: Jiggy is skinny dipping in the hot springs again?!!! Omg!
Mo xuanyu: no no. That's code gold.
Try to keep up.
Yao gege is going on a date.
Su she: really?!! With who?
Xue yang: not with team dimple for sure. Is it with Jiang cheng?! I'm jealous of that guy.
Mo xuanyu: he's going on a date with 3zun.
Lan lips and the nie disaster's brother.
Su she: poor Huangdi.
Well guess we got to spy on them, incase those disasters do anything to him.
Mo xuanyu: exactly.
Xue yang: and maybe we can snatch Jiggy at the end.
Mo xuanyu: we must. Because Yao gege loves us. We're team dimple.
Rusong: team dimple!
Mo xuanyu: Song'er! Thank goodness you're here. Some evil cultivators are taking up my Yao gege's attention.
Rusong: oh how sad. *laughing*
Mo xuanyu: Song'er, little Dianxia. It's not funny.
Rusong: are you planning to spy on them?
Su she: yea Dianxia. You know us.
Rusong: then don't.
Xue yang: why?
Rusong: because you got to help your second boss.
Su she: with?
Rusong: I want to go to Yi city, to surprise A-qing!
Xue yang: what's wrong with you divas today?! One is going on a hot date and now the other is planning one.
Rusong: please team d. Would you come with me! Uncle muffin.
Xue yang: who uncle muffin? I have to spy on Jiggylicious.
Rusong: isn't Yi city your house?
Xue yang: I'm from Kuizhou.
Rusong: you know i can fire you!
Xue yang: damn, Songsong. How did you get so entitled.
Rusong: I'm emperor Guangyao's son. Obviously I'm entitled.
Meng Shi: *enters* what's up.
Team dimple, why aren't you listening to Song'er.
Team dimple: Jiggy.
Meng Shi: *shakes head* I understand.
Rusong: Nainai.
Meng Shi: Song'er, you know team dimple have their simping agenda.
They're delulu about Yao'er.
Well it's my fault for making such a handsome and sophisticated hulijing emperor. He's too gorgeous for this world.
Yao'er is going on a date with the gui feis and team d got to do their stalking.
Anyways, Nainai is here. *cups face* what's up, baby.
Rusong: Nainai, I want to go to Yi city to surprise, A-qing. And team dimple won't go with me.
Meng Shi: awwwwwwwwwwww. Ok my little prince. We'll go see A-qing ok. *kisses his dimple* I'll take you there.
Rusong: yay.
Xue yang: and I'll come along then. I'll introduce you to Daozhang and be a housewife.
Rusong: right! Thank you uncle muffin. Heehee.
Xue yang: and just realised I got to be there. My neighbor Songlan doesn't know how to act around royalty.
Rusong: it's ok. I'm not going as a Wangzi. But as A-qing's bf.
Meng Shi: oh lord, he's so cute!
Xue yang: nah, Songlan has a problem.
He can't kneel with a wooden leg.
Rusong: he has a wooden leg?????
Xue yang: no. But he acts like it.
Rusong: huh.
Xue yang: a pack of peanuts has more grace than him.
Rusong: *cracking up*
Xue yang: then he does a weird thing with his mouth.
Sometimes I want to sever his tongue.
Rusong: *concerned* what does he do with his mouth?
Xue yang: speak. *rolls eyes* ugh.
Meng shi: I sense tension, lol.
Xue yang: because he's a homewrecker.
This evil man knew I'm married to Daozheng and Jiggy, and I have 16 children.
Meng Shi: WHAT?!
Xue yang: ok. I lie. It's only A-qing. But she's like 16 children in one. And especially when she's simping for Rusong.
She's a whole bts Stan. Where bts means Born to Simp or Born to Scream.
Meng Shi: I think she got that from you.
Xue yang: lol. Why couldn't she get my savageness.
Anyways, Team dimple, would you be ok without me!
Mo xuanyu: yea go ahead, yangyang.
Shanshan and I will spy on 3zun.
Su she: And we'll spill the beans afterwards.
Xue yang: alright!
See you later, team d.
Meng Shi: now I want to see who won my Song'er's heart.
~~~~~
Meanwhile, during 3zun's date.
Yao: *reclining on dage, while caressing Xichen's lips and chin with his liebing*
Xichen: *ties his headband in A-Yao's hair*
Yao: beautiful.
Xichen, my favorite concubine.
Xichen: *blushing*
Mingjue: how are you so hot. *kisses his hand*
Yao: I wonder the same.
Dage, please. Pour us some wine. And take some for yourself too.
Mingjue: yea. Got it.
Xichen: *leans in and began kissing his neck*
Yao: *giggling* er ge.
Xichen: would I get my liebing back?
Yao: no.
Maybe when I ask you to play music for me. *hugs*
Xichen: playing for his imperial majesty would be the best honour.
Yao: *covers face* er ge, don't make me blush!
Xichen: *strokes A-Yao's fox tail*
Mingjue: here you go, guys.
Shall we toast.
Yao: mn. Sure.
Minshan and mo xuanyu: *peeping in a bush*
Mo xuanyu: Lan lips and dage are all over our Yao gege.
Su she: yea. But Huangdi looks so gorgeous.
Mo xuanyu: always. Yao gege is too gorgeous for those two.
Yao: *sipping wine*
Su she: look at Huangdi's lashes.
Mo xuanyu: and his little lips.
He's so elegant in everything he does.
Dage gulps like a horse and Lan lips drinks like a cat.
Su she: lol.
I wish yangyang could have seen how hot Huangdi is.
Mo xuanyu: yea!
Have you locked your qi? He might sense our presence.
Su she: of course I did.
Huangdi has his hulijing ears out.
Anyways I feel like he knows we're spying on him.
Yao: how are things in Qinghe? Do you need any assistance, dage?
Mingjue: yea everything is fine. But we're planning on spreading the sect to Jaseon (Korea) and Taiwan.
Yao: oh, that's very good. My Gumihos would love to help you build and form the sect if you wish.
Mingjue: sure. Thanks for the help.
I know that this Jianghu is a part of your empire too.
Yao: mhm.
You're quite well mannered today, dage. It makes me feel so pleased.
Mingjue: yea. And I think it's the pin you logged in my arm.
Yao: it's called acupuncture, dage. *laughing* I learnt it from the Wen sect.
It eases tension.
Xichen: *blushing* acupuncture, A-Yao? I absolutely believe that dage needed that, to take away his stress.
Yao: right.
Xichen: *kisses* you think so much for your concubines.
Yao: yes I do. *grabs Mingjue's hands* how do you feel?
Mingjue: very relaxed.
Yao: *kisses his nose* good.
Xichen: let's take a stroll guys.
And I'll play some music on my liebing for you, Huangdi.
Yao: marvelous idea. *opens fan*
On the other side, in Yi city 📍.
Meng Shi, Rusong, his personal assistant and Xue yang were going through yi city via a caravan.
Rusong: *flutters fan*
so this is Yi city, uncle muffin.
Xue yang: yea dude.
Stay I'm the caravan though. There's some walking dead, and some thieves too.
Meng shi: oh my goodness.
And little A-qing is living here?!
Xue yang: she has street smarts. Daozhang found her on the streets.
Meng Shi: poor baby.
Xue yang: she pretended to be blind so that she can thief people's food and money.
Rusong: Nainai, she had changed her ways. She didn't know better.
Meng Shi: I know, Song'er. I trust your instincts. You know about nature, nurture and survival.
You're Yao'er's smart successor after all. The future Huangdi.
Mengs are praised for their insight. Especially insight on society.
Rusong: aww.
Uncle muffin, why is Yi city so foggy?
Xue yang: because it's kind of like an abandoned waistband.
Rusong: you should do something for the development of yi city.
A-Die can make you a king if you like.
Xue yang: yea I know Jiggy would.
But I rather Kuizhou.
Rusong: how about both.
And A-Die's empire can fund the cities, you rule and develop it. Maybe have your own sect on the side.
Not only Yi city, but the entire Shudong will be taken good care of.
Xue yang: Songsong, you're a genius.
Meng Shi: told you.
Rusong: you're welcome, uncle muffin. Haha.
I just find that these places should be more developed.
Talk to A-Die.
Xue yang: yea that's a good suggestion.
We're here. I'll be back.
Rusong: mn.
Xue yang: Daozhang!
Daozhang where are youuuu!
Xingchen: *coming from inside* Xue yang, you're here
Xue yang: did you miss me, xingxing?
Xingchen: of course I did.
I missed your jokes.
Xue yang: awwww.
Xingchen: how's his majesty?
Xue yang: Jiggy. Jiggy is going great. Super hot as ever.
Xingchen: I'm so happy for our A-qing.
Xue yang: me too. She has rich tastes like me.
Xingchen: but would the hulijing prince damage her qi?
Xue yang: nah. Don't worry dude.
Songlan: *enters* oh look. The gremlin is back.
Xingchen, do you have any spinach?
Xue yang: you're so rude and negative, Songlan!
And why do you need spinach!
Songlan: was i speaking to you?!
Xue yang: was I speaking to YOU?
Songlan: nevermind. I'll get my own.
Xue yang: yea, go buy it from a vendor or something. You lazy guy.
Xingchen: please, don't fight.
And I sense we have guests.
A-qing: what guests, white gege! Omg, xue yang?! What are you doing here?!
Xue yang: I live here.
A-qing: xue yang, I know that!
Xue yang: why do you have dirt on your face? Don't you know that someone is going to surprise you.
A-qing: *wipes face* I was cleaning up your garden.
Now who's the guest?
Rusong: A-qing.
A-qing: *running* Rich gege!!!! *hugs tightly* rich gege!!
Rusong: *hugs* how are you?!!
A-qing: I'm going great! What a surprise! I missed you.
Rusong: *hands her a bouquet of flowers* here you go.
A-qing: thanks.
Oh goodness, this place is so unkempt. And I'm unkempt too! I'm so so sorry, Dianxia. I don't really expect guests. No one really visit.
Rusong: *kisses* relax. I'm fine with anything.
A-qing: why did you come surprise me? Rusong. You could have told me.
Rusong: because I felt to. *hugs*
Do you want me to go back to Jingjing?
A-qing: no. Stay with me!
Rusong: *wipes her cheek* definitely.
Meng Shi: *enjoying their interaction.*
Rusong: greetings, Mr. Xiao.
Xingchen: *bow slightly* greetings, hulijing Dianxia.
Rusong: this is my Nainai.
Meng Shi taihou.
Xingchen: ah, Huangdi's mom. *bow* greetings taihou, and goddess of Hulijings.
Pleasure to meet you.
Meng Shi: pleasure to meet you too, Taoist.
Xingchen: I hope there isn't anything you're uncomfortable with. You know, us Taoists have things that can hurt hulijings.
Meng Shi: everything is ok. You don't need to worry. Thank you for your concern.
A-qing: Rusong. That's your grandma? She looks so gorgeous. And she resembles Jiggy.
Rusong: yes.
A-qing: would she love me.
Rusong: of course. Greet her.
A-qing: greetings taihou.
I'm Rusong's girlfriend.
Meng Shi: ah, you're very cute and pretty. Nice to meet you, A-qing.
A-qing: thanks. You look a lot like Jiggy.
Dimples and everything.
Meng Shi: I get that a lot. I made him handsome.
A-qing: and it spread to Rusong.
Meng shi: yup.
Mengs are beautiful.
Songlan: greetings Taihou and Dianxia. *kneels*
Meng Shi: greetings, Taoist Songlan.
Ah, you can kneel.
Songlan: yea. Did xue yang tell you anything?
Meng Shi: no.
Rusong: nothing about a wooden leg.
Songlan: don't listen to that walking trash bag.
Xue yang: cuz you don't have poise.
Taihou, he stole my husband! And his eyes!
Meng Shi: huh.
A-qing: can you two let it go. I don't want you and Songlan to fight in front of my boyfriend.
Songlan: xue yang always want me to punch him.
Xue yang: you can if you like. Then I'll stab in return.
Xingchen: ahh calm down. Taihou, Dianxia. I'm going to prepare some fried aburaage tofu and ginseng tea. You can take a seat if you like.
Rusong: sounds lovely. But.
Meng Shi: you're blindfolded and your eyes are missing. Would you be ok.
Xingchen: I see through my minds eyes, taihou.
Look. You're wearing a shade of pink, black and gold. With a very antique hairpin in your hair. And that hairpin is Korean styled.
Meng shi: waw. You're correct! Yes, darling Yao'er gifted me this hairpin.
Xue yang: mind eyes, my foot. Xingxing, I'll cook for you.
You should relax. Your housewife is here to take care of you.
Xingchen: xue yang, I can manage.
Xue yang: no. Stop being stubborn.
Xingchen: gosh, he spoils me.
Xue yang: Daozhang, what would you do if I was a king? Can I still be a housewife?
Xingchen: I'll be very happy for you. And yes, you can still be a housewife.
A-qing: *hugging Rusong's arm* you could ever rule something, xue yang?!
Xue yang: obviously. Are you jealous?
Miss Meng, my two marital lives are so different.
Jiggy is my husband, but he's also my master and I'm his pet concubine, harem member, henchman twink.
And for Daozhang, I'm his housewife.
Meng Shi: I see that.
Xue yang: I'll be back with snacks. And yes, there's tongue tea if anyone is interested.
Meng Shi: tongue tea?
Rusong: oh dear.
A-qing: rich gege, let's take a walk.
Rusong: sure. Let's go.
A-qing: *blushing* I want to show you my room.
Meng Shi: room?
So you're just going to conceive the royal babies here? *joking*
Rusong: uhhh. *blushing* no Nainai. I wonder though.
A-qing: *buries her head in his chest* not yet.
actually, rich gege, I want to show you  that I saved all your gifts.
Rusong: aww.
I know you did.
Meng shi: you two just get sweeter and sweeter!
Go ahead.
*in her room*
A-qing: watch your step, rich gege. And I'm sorry about the unpleasant state of my room.
Rusong it's fine, really.
A-qing: I know. Your maid rooms look like this
Rusong: that doesn't bother me. *caresses face*
But how do you live comfortably here?
A-qing: better than being on the streets.
Rusong: that's so great to hear. Once you're happy, I'm happy.
Anyways, do you need your staff of maids? I'll call them here.
A-qing: no no, Rusong. It's ok. *blushing* you keep pampering me.
Rusong: I must.
A-qing: *opens a jewel box* see! I saved your golden hair comb.
Rusong: *smiling*
Have a seat.
A-qing: I told you I won't sell it. Haha. Now your Nainai won't be upset with me.
Rusong: *putting it in her hair* Nainai can't be upset with us for long.
A-qing: why?
Rusong: because we're super cute.
And I have dimples.
A-qing: ahhh. I seee.
Your Nainai is very graceful, and sweet. Just like Jiggy.
I thought she would be stuck up, being an empress dowager, and goddess.
Rusong: no, she's down to earth.
She and A-Die gad humble beginnings.
A-qing: oh.
Rusong: Nainai had fought a lot for survival. Hers and A-Die's. Now they're happily rewarded with splendour.
A-qing: will you fight for something?
Rusong: for the honour of my family and inherited empire of course.
A-qing: aww.
Rusong: there, you look beautiful.
A-qing: *blushing*
Rusong: *kisses her on her forehead*
A-qing: rich gege, you're so cute.
Rusong: you're adorable too.
A-qing: *grabs hand* come. Let's go look at flowers.
