But I literally joined Tumblr in 2020 to participate in discourse

I’d started rereading all of the Stormlight Archive in preparation for Rhythm of War and spent months lurking on tumblr in my browser without an account. I also lurked on the Reddit cosmere threads. Halfway through Oathbringer, I caved and finally made an account on Tumblr cuz the discourse here was less unhinged than what I saw on Reddit

Happy Cosmerelists Blogiversity!

Tomorrow, April 5, is my one-year Blogiversity of starting Cosmerelists! I thought it would be fun to do a retrospective--thank you all for joining me on this blog!

1. The Most Popular Post of the Year

Drumroll please...was "Pros and Cons of Stormlight Characters in the Middle Seat Next to You on a Budget Airline" (link) with 977 notes at the time of writing this post. This one was requested by anon, so whoever you are, anon, thanks for coming up with an idea that everyone seemed to enjoy!

2. Runner-up for Most Popular Post

Is still my very first post, "How Other Cosmere Characters Would Convince the Stick to Become Fire" (link) with 828 notes at the time of writing. Now this one was my wife's idea.

So I think the message here is that you all should make list requests. 😅

3. Least Popular Post

I have only ONE regular post that is under 10 notes...drumroll please..."Total Eclipse of the Heart: Raboniel & Navani" (link) with a whole 9 notes at the time of writing. So...I guess not everyone loves this song as much as I do? Or they DO love it and didn't like what I did with it? Either is possible!

4. Runner-up for Least Popular Post

My only other one under 20 notes, I think, is "English Proverbs Translated for the Threnodites on Canticle" (link). This actually kinda surprised me, because my Rosharan proverbs post did pretty well. But maybe people haven't read Sunlit Man? Or maybe I just didn't do as well with the proverbs?

5. Followers

Right now I have about 470 followers...I'm kind of hoping I get up to 500 by my blogiversity but I don't know if I will. I'm pretty proud of having that many! Like everyone, I tend to get 'em when @onlycosmere reblogs one of my lists! Thank you, @onlycosmere. :D

6. Just Some Final Thoughts

I'm having fun! Thank you all for reblogging/liking posts, for leaving fun comments in the tags, and for generally being a friendly and welcoming fandom. I initially found it intimidating to try to create stuff for a fandom like the Cosmere, because it's all so big and complicated. But I appreciate you all for being welcoming--cfbf indeed!
