We’re all just mirror shards
______________________________
Hello everyone, No One here again. I just want to first apologize about the wait, I have been loaded with school work and been sick, so I lacked the proper mindset to write. I also just really wanted to make sure this chapter was done right. You queens all deserve it!
I would like to make a special shout out to @calpicola because a little while back they made an absolutely beautiful fanart for WAJMS and has continued to make great Parrlyn content for a bit. Thank you so much again for what you did!
Okay, so this chapter is going to be a bit different, not as much parrlyn as there is backstory, but still parrlyn. Please don’t hate me for what happens, and I swear you’ll get to hear more of Anna’s side later on.
Anyways, oh with the chapter!
Word count: about 4,980 words
Warnings: cursing, insecurities, nudes, Henry being a total dick, violence (not explicit but you know.), blood.
Enjoy~

Chapter 13
When Anne meets Anna
————————————————
"Well, Cathy Parr, would you like to play a game with me?" Anne asked.
"Matters... what's the game?" Cathy asked in return.
"Nothing crazy or anything, it's just 20 questions," Anne explained.
"Hm, sure. I don't see why not..... we'll just have to limit the questions because there is no way we are going through forty." Cathy shrugged. "How 'bout we do six each. I like that number."
"Okay, great! Half of a dozen it is." Anne shouted as she gave Cathy a toothy grin.
"Should I start, or you?" Cathy asked.
"I'll start, I already have a question in mind anyways."
"Okay then."
"Sooooo... Cathy, sweet innocent Cathy." Anne eyed Cathy up and down.
"Oh no, I'm regretting agreeing to this already," Cathy playfully teased.
"Oh, hush you."
Cathy giggled in response, but did stay quiet. Thus, Anne was happy.
"Alright Cathy, what is your ‘darkest secret’ that is actually normal for a person to have and or do?" Anne asked.
“Pardon?”
“Basically, what is something casual that you are insecure about?”
"Well, aren't you just a sweet innocent ray of sunshine, don't go too easy on me now, we are only just starting the game."
"Cath, answer the question first, then you can be a smartass."
"Fine, fine.... I guess, the fact that I have a tumblr? Question mark?" Cathy nervously glanced over at Anne, it was as if she admitted to committing a crime.
To be fair though, there are some whacky fanfics out there. Cathy tends to read them, as she enjoys their creativity, or she’s just really horny and wanted to read smut. But Anne doesn’t need to know that! Especially the last bit!
"Do you go on your account often?" Anne asked casually, not bothered by Cathy’s confession.
"Yes,” Cathy hesitantly admitted.
"Alright, there is nothing wrong with that." Anne shrugged, smiling gently at Cathy as she noticed the girl’s unease.
“Really?” Cathy asked as if it was the first time she has ever heard someone say that.
Which it was.
“Yes, really. I even have one too,” Anne informed her. Hence causing Cathy to visually relax as she let her shoulders fall, no longer carrying the heavy insecurity.
"Oh thank god, I thought you would think less of me." Catherine sighed in relief.
“Why’s that?”
“Well, I love fanfiction and the communities. But fanfiction does not have the best rep, nor does the toxic ship wars help. I just do it for fun, just like how the majority of the group does. And um, I didn’t want you to notice that I’m a bit… weird.”
“You think of yourself as weird in a derogatory way?” Anne asked with a small pout that was highlighted by the little tilt of her head. Her eyes were honest and full of questions. And to put the icing on the cake, Anne’s hair shifted down, brushing across Boleyn’s face gently, so Cathy was able to admire the brown, wavy abyss. It made Cathy clam up.
Cathy, once again, was awed by Anne’s beauty. The way her eyes flashed concern, her honesty and gentle nature held in each word spoken, the curve of her small pout, just all of it caused Cathy to hold her breath. Parr was mesmerized by Anne, and far too afraid to speak as she knows she’ll trip over her words. But this was a conversation. So she looked into Anne's honest eyes and sighed.
“I- I guess. Yeah,” Cathy stuttered awkwardly as she rubs the back of her neck with her free hand.
"Cathy, yes you are weird, but in such wonderful ways. Normal is so boring. There is nothing wrong with you, you just have some quirks that make you adorable.” Anne said, gently running her thumb on the back of Parr’s hand in hopes to ease the girl. Unbeknownst to Anne, it caused Cathy’s heart to race even more than it already was.
“I, um, thanks… I’m sorry,” Cathy apologized.
“Don’t apologize.”
“Okay, sorry… Wait fuck. Fuck, fuck, fuck, ughhhhh.” Cathy threw her head back and let out a loud groan.
Anne burst out laughing after hearing that response.
“Jeez mate, relax, that question wasn’t supposed to get you this worked up.”
“I know, it’s just… I don’t want to say anything that will make me look bad, I guess. I don't know if that makes so much sense, I’m sor— ” Cathy paused for a second, realizing what she was about to say. “Y’know what, I’m just going to quit while I’m ahead.”
Anne shook her head with an amused grin. Cathy was too fucking adorable and had this magic way of filling Anne’s insides with this light goofy feeling. God, was she just loving every second she spent with Parr.
“Cathy look, the point of a question like that is to see what you fear or worry about, that's why I added the, 'that is actually normal' part to the question. I want to understand you better, that's the literal point of this game," Anne explained.
"Anne..."
"And another thing, Cathy, I'm not going to judge you. I think highly of you, and I know that is weird since we just recently met, but I can tell we are going to get along great.” Anne swung Parr’s hand high while cupping her chin with her free hand. “So if you end up, I don't know, hm… let's say murdering someone, I'll be there to help hide the body and frame someone else."
"Well, geez Anne. Right when I think it's going to be a sweet and uplifting moment, you throw in some chaos and make the conversation go from 0 to 100 in less than a second." Cathy chuckled a bit.
"Yup, knowing me, that sounds about right." Anne shrugged.
"Well, at least you acknowledge it."
"I guess. But enough about that Cathy, it's your turn to ask a question!"
"Um, I don't know yet."
"Oh, come on Cathy. I'm sure there is one question you have to ask me," Anne whined.
Yes, there are a few, actually.
How are you so pretty? What's your sexuality? Are you a good kisser? These all come to mind, but there is no way Cathy can ask these.
But then again, there is that question.
"Well, Anne, there is this one question that has been stuck in my mind for a while now.”
"Well, then just spit it out." Anne grinned in excitement, ready for her question.
"Okay, Anne. How did you get the nickname gremlin?" Catherine finally asked.
Anne's breath hitch as she halted. Cathy caught a glimpse of worry in Anne's eyes, but it was soon replaced with something indescribable.
"W-Well, um, you see here, the story isn't one of my best moments. I, um, caused a bit of chaos," Anne stuttered as she held her head down, ashamed as she tried to avoid making eye contact with Catherine.
"If you don't mind me asking, what happened?" Catherine carefully asked.
Anne took a deep breath to calm herself, she then let out a heavy sigh as she looked up at Parr.
"You weren't here for it, obviously, but it happened in my sophomore year, about this time. It was the day I met Anna of Cleves, who is now my best friend. And I met her in probably what would go down as the worst first impression ever. I'm still referred to this very day as her Ex-boyfriend's psychotic ex." Anne paused and glanced at Cathy to check and make sure that she was following along. After she confirmed this, she continued. "Maybe you heard of him, Henry King, number 8 on the school's football team, the QB, and the equivalent to the ruler of the school."
Cathy's eyes widened when she realized who Anne was talking about. Could it be Henry, that Henry? No, no. Anne wouldn't date a dick like him... would she?
"The guy is probably the biggest prick you'll ever meet, but I guess he's just trying to make up for his small size. Well, cock size. Every other part of him is huge, especially the huge ego of that fat ass. I swear, he is an autosexual and a narcissist."
Nope, they are definitely talking about the same Henry.
Anne, completely oblivious to Cathy's panic, continued with her story.
"Before I get into how we met, you need to know about Anna's history with Henry,” Anne said.
"Is it alright if you tell me about it?" Catherine asked.
"Yeah, at this point she has accepted the event and is fine with others talking about it, as long as they spread the truth of the situation. You get what I'm saying?"
"I think so."
"Okay. So, basically what happened is that Henry did what he always does after he breaks up with someone. He defames their image to protect his own." Anne looked at Cathy to see her reaction.
Parr’s eyes widened a bit in shock, but nodded as she gulped down her nerves, signaling for Anne to continue. She mentally prepared herself for the horrid backstory about to be told.
"So it started off when Anna, bless her soul, had agreed to go on a date with Henry as his new ‘girlfriend’. What she didn't know was that Henry asked her out on a dare. The dick had stood her up when it came time for the date.” Anne bit her inner-lip as her eyebrows furrowed. Obviously just pissed off thinking about the story. “The next day, Anna went to confront him about it since he wouldn’t answer her texts. Surprise, surprise, it was a fake number. Anyways, he just straight out told her it was a dare and called her an ugly whore for thinking he was serious. Realizing his actions and how Anna might squeal this to others, Henry lied about why he stood her up. Instead of admitting that he asked her out because of a dare, he told his friends how she creeped him out by wanting him to send her dick pics, and went as far as to say that she sent him nudes that were 'displeasing'. The fucking cocksucker!"
"What happened next?" Cathy asked anticipatingly, eyes wary as they saw a hint of loathing in Anne’s eyes.
"Well, Cleves is never one to roll over and just take a punch. She went around telling people what really happened, which pissed off Henry, as you can imagine. Soon, people didn't know who to believe, and that scared the douchebag. So like the fuck weasel he is, he decided to ruin Anna's image more. The nerve of that boy is unbelievable, he- he-" Anne had to take some deep breaths to calm herself down. "Cathy, he took some nudes one desperate slut sent him, spread them all over social media, and claimed they were Anna's."
Cathy's eyes widened in shock as she let out a small gasp.
"He kept on saying, 'I didn't want to do this, but this bitch kept on denying what she did.' And with just a few taps of a screen, everyone was on his side and calling Anna a massive whore."
"No."
"It gets worse.” Anne scowled, disgusted by what happened. “Apparently committing slander and libel wasn't enough, so the bastard decided to send his goons to torture her. They would see her in the halls and yell profanities at her, call her names, sometimes they even hurled trash at her. This went on for about a month. During this time, they would break Anna little by little until she wasn't comfortable with her image anymore..."
“He did that, to Anna of Cleves? The Anna of Cleves? The blunt and loud sexually crude joker?” Catherine asked, not believing what Anne just said.
“Yes. Our Anna. He made her scared to even see a mirror.”
“That- That- That dick!” Cathy exclaimed in pure rage.
“I know. But guess what?”
“There is more?”
“Yup,” Anne said, popping the ‘p’.
“Oh, for fuck— what happened?” Cathy groaned.
"Well then one day, she ran into Henry in the hallways. He was with his fifth girlfriend, and he was berating her for her timid nature. He called her things such as incompetent, loser, useless, and an ugly slut; he did this in front of everyone in the hallway who just stood by, laughing at the meek girl who was on the verge of tears.” Anne shuddered at the thought in rage, tightly gripping the hem of her skirt. “When Anna saw this, something changed inside of her. The past month of abuse, torture, and self-loathing instantly disappeared. Soon, it was replaced by wrath. Anna pushed through the crowd, livid at the scene. When she reached Henry, he just glanced at her and sneered. He said, and I quote, 'go away, you ugly bitch. I don’t have time to delete more of your nudes.' He then was probably going to make another comment, but Anna socked him in the nose before he had a chance. She ended up screaming at him about how much of a ‘toxic little shit’ he was, and how she ‘couldn't care less about his saggy balls.’ Everyone was stunned, no one has ever stood up to Henry and got away with it. But there she was, an already broken girl who lost all her dignity and had nothing left to lose, screaming in her abusers face in defense of a helpless girl who was in her old position."
"Damn." Parr said, and it was all she could say. She was just that astonished by the scene being told.
"Right? She even called everyone in the crowd out, saying that they were all ‘toxic dickheads’ for letting this happen. Basically to summarize everything, when Anna's piss, she holds nothing back. The teachers ended up having to escort her to the principal's office because she tried to 'beat' Henry up, as if he was the victim in all of this. I swear to god, our education system is fucked up if they label the abuser as the victim," Anne cursed.
"And you saw all of this happen?" Cathy looked at Anne in pure curiosity.
"Majority of it, I kind of walked in on the part where she sucker punched him.” Anne smiled briefly at the thought. Then continued after a mere shrug. “It caught my interest to see Henry getting some much needed karma, so I decided to listen to what she had to say... I found her very admirable. She was too hurt to look at her own image, but wouldn't let her abuser do that to another soul. Honestly, Anna is one of the bravest, strongest, and most admirable people I know, not that I would ever say that to her face."
"Why not?" Cathy asked.
"I don't know, it's just a mutual understanding between us. We know what the other thinks of us, and we show it through our actions as their friend, not through sappy words... We both know words hold nothing if they aren't meant. So we don't use them...." Anne explained.
"Wow..."
"That, and she calls me gremlin," Anne said.
"Okay, that sounds more like the Boleyn-Cleves relationship." Cathy smiled.
They both laughed, however, Anne's was more bitter.
"Anyways, Anna received three days of out of school suspension. After that, she returned Friday to find not only Henry's lap dogs terrorizing her, but strangers too. What once was just mean comments turned into vandalized desks and lockers. And this was all just on the day she returned. By lunchtime, she had nowhere to sit as even the misfits wouldn't dare to let her sit at their table. In comes Henry Mannox, one of Henry King's lackeys, who then decided it was a great idea to smack Anna's lunch tray out of her hands and belittle her for not saying hi after coming back." Anne rolled her eyes. "The whole cafeteria cheered him on as Anna just stood there helplessly, taking it all in."
Anne then paused, taking a few deep breaths in. Finally, she looked up at Cathy and gave her a dejected smile.
"This was what I walked in on. And that's where Anna got her first impression of me, along with a good chunk of random on-goers."
"Oh no." Cathy’s eyes widened in horror at the idea of what Anne might have done next.
"Oh, yes."
"What did you do? Did you straight up attack him?" Cathy asked.
"Pffft, no." Anne grinned before she muttered the next part under her breath. "Like anything I do is straight."
"What was that Anne?"
"I said I played it like a Boleyn, which means I get to the point in every single way but straight," Anne smoothly lied.
"Oh?" Cathy questioned, staring at Anne curiously amused.
"Yeah, so I quietly made my way around the cafeteria, sleuthing the scene and eavesdropping on students as I bought some lunch. I made sure to get messy foods and a milkshake. Then I began to make my way towards them. My status had preceded me as people began to move out of my way without me having to ask them. Then I reached the disgusting scene, and the bastard noticed me. What's worse, he grinned, expecting me to be on his fucking side! Ha, as if! But, I wasn't about to let go of that advantage, no. I was going to use this to its full potential and turn the cafeteria against him." Anne’s eyes were filled with malice as a grin spread across her face, scaring Cathy a bit.
Cathy gulped at the scary look Anne wore, it was intense and aggressive as it sent shivers down Cathy’s spine making her feel all kinds of things.
Note: Anne Boleyn is both equally scary as she is attractive.
Anne just proved Cathy’s point with her next rant.
"You see, Cathy, us Boleyns take pride in uncovering our enemies weaknesses slowly and unsuspiciously, and then when they feel a sense of comfort enough to turn their back to us, we go in for the kill, stabbing them in the back and slicing them open. Watching in bliss as the beautiful color of crimson spills onto the floor and the victim falls into a puddle of their own blood that is as shallow as they are. The glorifying feeling that overwhelms you when you see their anguished face is truly magnificent." Anne cackled at the image of Mannox’s defeated face.
Anne then felt Cathy's concerned stare on her and realized how creepy she sounded.
"Chillax Cath, I was figuratively creating a visual image to express the feeling. I’ve never actually killed my enemies," Anne reassured her, finally calming down.
"I- I know, but still... remind me to never get on your bad side." Cathy looked at her in awe, not knowing how to respond to this side of the Boleyn girl.
Anne just giggled innocently.
"You got it! Anyways, back to the story. Mannox was grinning cockily, like the prick he is, and said to Anna, 'see, that is what a beautiful woman looks like. Take some notes, otherwise you'll forever be alone, whore.' Or some bullshit like that. Like, he literally thought he could get away with it.” Anne shook her head in disgust, clicking her tongue to let out a ‘tch’. “Unbeknownst to him, I was plotting against him, readying to put good use to this school's god awful cafeteria food."
Cathy gasped.
"You did not do what I think you're going to do!" Cathy couldn’t stop the smile from forming on her face. God is Anne a chaotic gremlin.
"Oh, I so did. And after he said that, I ended the conversation and went in for the kill." Anne grinned at the thought.
"Oh my god."
"So, I calmly walked up to him, wearing such an angelic smile, it would fool god himself, and then I dumped my milkshake over his head."
"Oh my god, Anne! You didn't!" Cathy exclaimed in both shock and amusement.
"Mate, like what was I meant to do?" Anne asked in her own defense.
"Sweet Jesus." Cathy laughed so hard she snorted.
"Anyways, he began to freak out, as you can imagine. Mannox was screaming and flailing around like a child, unaware of what was happening because the shake was covering his eyes, blinding him. Thus, I was able to trip him and he fell into the trash can. I then finished him off by dumping the rest of the food on my tray into the trash. Potatoes were sliding down his back, and I kid you not, he was fucking sobbing about the carbs," Anne said with pride, grinning from ear to ear as her eyes sparkled in mischief. Now that, that was the look of Anne Boleyn.
"My lord, Anne." Cathy shook her head playfully.
"Oh, sweet Cathy. It doesn't end there, darling."
"Oh no."
"I then turned around to see my peers engrossed in a dead silence, mouths agape and eyes as wide as saucers. I could've stopped there, they probably were scared off enough. I should've stopped there, like a rational person.” Anne paused, looking at the ground with a serious expression for a second. But she then looked up at Cathy with a smirk that screamed sin. With a small squeeze of the hand, Anne continued. “But I'm Anne fucking Boleyn. Dumbass of the year who is known for her impulsiveness."
"You make it sound like your nature is a bad thing," Cathy pointed out.
"No, it's not. It just gets me in a hell of a lot of trouble."
"Well, can't argue with you there." Cathy shrugged.
"Anyways, I ended up kicking down the garbage can, causing Mannox to fall, then stepped over it and climbed onto the table."
"Well, I can see where this is going. But how did a teacher or administrator not stop you?" Cathy asked.
"You act like they actually care about the students, but no. They don't, just the ones whose parents donate a big check to the school. I. E. Henry and me." Anne rolled her eyes at the statement, repulsed by the school’s standards.
"Oh."
"And our peers don't care enough to tell anyone. You see, before it was Henry, and he had lackeys who went and got someone to pull Cleves off him. But Mannox, no one gives a shit about him. So since I had more of a social standing, I was able to fuck with him however I so pleased," Anne explained.
"Our school... is really a fucking mess." Cathy sighed with a frown. Hence causing Anne to give her a small smile and a knowing look as she gently squeezed Cathy’s hand again, relaxing Cathy as she melted into Anne’s touch.
"Yup.” Anne sighed in agreement before continuing with the story. “So I just ruined Mannox and am now standing on a table. I then proceeded to scream my head off, making sure I gained everyone's attention. I was hellbent on defending Anna's honor, and I was not about to let some people ignore me because they couldn't look away from their fucking ham sandwich for two seconds!” Anne huffed. “After I knew I had everyone's devoted attention, I hammered down on all of them. I told them how toxic they were being, and how stupid it was for them to gang up on a girl like how they did, when they didn't have any proper reason to. Someone hiding in the back shouted about how Anna yelled at them, like how I was now. Well, I was dead set on not letting that bullshit slide. I still remember yelling 'Yeah, no shit Sherlock' at the top of my lungs that day. I then went on to say how I couldn't give two shits about what she said, as no amount of yelling, especially in her situation where she was yelling the truth against a fucker, deserved the treatment she received. And no shit, of course she was going to fucking blow up on them, look at how quick they were to listen to Henry!"
"What happened next?" Cathy eagerly asked.
"Eh, someone different yelled about how she was apparently ‘stalking’ and ‘forcing herself onto Henry’, sending the so called 'nudes' to him. Others agreed with her, and someone even tried to show me the picture. Then I asked the million dollar question that they obviously didn't spare a fucking brain cell to consider." Anne combed her hair back with her free hand and let out an exasperated sigh.
"What was it?"
"How do you know it was her nudes?” She exclaimed, throwing her free hand up into the air in rage. “There was no fucking proof, her face wasn't in it! Heck, I don't think it matched up properly with her skin tone if you cared to actually examine it! For all the fuck we know, Henry could have gotten the pictures off of some porn website! Like, how could none of them think to consider that! Not a single one of them!"
"Damn. I don't even know what to say about that,” Cathy admitted in awe.
"Yeah, I know. They didn't know how to respond either. A decent amount of them finally realized what had happened, as my words managed to hit them like a truck and break through their thick skulls. Finally, they stopped to think about what was happening."
"What about the others?" Catherine hesitantly asked.
"They ignored my words and can choke on a dick for all I care," Anne spat, her grip on Cathy’s hand tightening a bit.
"Oh," Cathy muttered as she squeezed Anne’s hand to help her calm down just like how Anne had done for her. Anne looked at Cathy and sighed.
"Anyways, to wrap up this story. I got off the table and offered Anna to eat lunch with me and Kitty, she agreed and we left the cafeteria while everyone was still shell-shocked and silent. I may or may not have also flipped them off while walking out." Anne awkwardly mumbled the last bit as she rubbed the back of her neck.
"Of course you did." Cathy gave Anne a knowing smile.
"When we arrived at Kitty and I's secret lunch spot, I introduced Anna to Kitty, who instantly greeted her with a bear hug. I then sat her down and asked her if she was alright. We spent the majority of lunch talking about what had happened with Henry, and it is still to this day the only time I have ever seen Anna cry. Kitty and I made sure to give her lots of hugs and tell her just how beautiful she was.” Anne wore a soft small smile at the memory. “After we talked everything out, I offered her half of my lunch. She then asked me, 'wait, didn't you buy lunch and then throw it on Mannox?' I then explained to her that I only bought that lunch because I had planned to dump it on the douche. For the first time ever, I saw Cleves smile as she burst out laughing at my explanation. She then went on to say, 'wow, you're as equally chaotic as you are green. You must be a gremlin!' And once the idea was in her head, she was dead set on making that my nickname. Lucky for her, I already liked her, so I gave her some slack and I let her call me the vile nickname. We grew closer as friends as she continued to eat lunch with us. And well, the rest is history." Anne finally finished the story, smiling at Cathy.
"Wow," was the only word that Cathy could manage to spit out.
"Yeah, we have an interesting friendship. But I cherish every shitty joke and chaotic debate we have. The moment definitely wasn't my best as no one but Kitty and Anna would talk to me for about two weeks, but the majority of people also stopped messing with her. It was also funny as shit to watch Mannox cower in fear and run away whenever he saw me. Overall, I wouldn't hesitate to do it all again for Cleves,” Anne said honestly.
"Anne Boleyn, you're a really nice person," Cathy said in amazement, looking at the girl in awe while she wore a small smile. She then bumped her and Anne’s shoulders together, causing Anne to giggle as she stared back at Cathy in joy.
"Thank you Cathy, that really does mean a lot."
"And... I think I understand you a bit better now."
"Oh really, and only after one round of questions?" Anne asked, raising an eyebrow in shock.
"Yeah." She shrugged.
Honestly, Cathy realized two major things because of this story.
One: Anne Boleyn's description. She was green, gorgeous, and someone who will do everything in her power to help out a friend. Both beautiful and kind as she was misunderstood. She was the epitome of the beauty of mystery.
Two: Cathy was definitely crushing harder on her, and it wasn't for her looks or sense of mystery this time. Nor was it for her liking books or giving Cathy attention. And it was most certainly not like it was before, just seeing her as a book. No. Cathy liked Anne for being the loud, flirty dumbass she was. The one failing around and screaming her head off, the one she got stuck in a closet with, the one who accidentally says innuendos and then blushes about it, the one who surprises Cathy with affection every time they meet, the one who fell off a swivel chair, the one who goes through hell and back for her friend, the one deemed a chaotic gremlin, and the one who has caught Parr’s attention since the second she laid eyes one her. Cathy liked Anne for everything, her crush on Boleyn has already become that deep. And that... that was scary to Catherine.

Not all love is physical
Messages for a special girl on a special day. @dannixy
To my chaos twin,
When I first started on Tumblr, I thought, ‘no one is going to want to talk to me or like me. Shoot why did I do this?’. And that happened for the first few weeks I started. Those weeks were hard, I guess. I followed literally everyone and mostly posted for my own enjoyment. Then, you posted. You posted about some group chat with writers and to not be afraid to ask to join. Me being the lonely sap I was, I took a leap of faith and sent you my username. When the group chat was first formed, I was so scared. You all were so confidant and lovely, and just amazing people that I couldn’t believe were real. I never thought I could live up to the level that everyone set by their writing and personalities. Then I started talking to you, Danni. I have no idea what it was about, all I know is that we clicked. Something told me that you (and everyone else xx) were special and that I could always count on you. And from then on, I knew we were going to be good friends, maybe even family. You made it so easy and comfortable to just let go and be myself. You made me not worry what others thought of me and to just enjoy writing and not compare it to other works. I have only known you and the family for a short period of time, but honestly, it feels like we’ve been together for years. When I was having just an awful day you stepped up, and took control and calmed me down. Not even looking back once and basically dropped everything to help me, and that is truly amazing. I have never met you, which is obvious, but you have a heart of gold. You’re loyal, honest, funny, caring, beautiful, chaotic, a bean, supportive (ahem, POLE), and just anything one could ever wish for. I hope you know how amazing you are. You are my chaotic twin. I love causing trouble with you, ticking off mom (love ya mom xx)(FOR THE POLE FOR THE POLE FOR THE POLE), converting people to our ways (...you know who you are), yelling at random things, bullying each other (stop messing with my spelling man), and just talking nonstop. I know I can always be honest with you and I can definitely be insane with you.
I heard this song the other day, and I couldn’t help but think of you and the family. Particularly, one lyric. Which was:
“But if only you could see yourself in my eyes. You'd see you shine, you shine”
In everyone’s eyes, and especially mine, you are extraordinary. Don’t you ever forget that, love.
Happy birthday, you beautiful soul.
All my love, Ayla
Xx @all-my-love-cathy
__________
Hey you little bean it’s your birthday and I just wanna say how incredibly proud I am of you. You’re like a little sister to me and I couldn't ask for a better person to be called idiot by x
You're always here for me and I know that I can count on you whenever and wherever. I just want you to know how much I appreciate that and love you for that!
You're one incredibly talented, strong, independent and smart gal and I am so so SO proud of you and of the person you’ve become. You might be way younger than me but I believe that there's so much I can learn from you.
Never change!!! (except maybe cut down the gay disaster, but i mean we working on that)
I hope you have the bestestestestetest of days.
All the love and hugs in the universe, you deserve it!!!
Your idiot xx @sarahzarahh
__________
To Danni, my precious little chaotic bean noodle who I love with all my heart.
So, this is a surprise I’m hoping. I know I once talked about this with Ayla, your fabulous twin, in front of you. But I’m not sure if you thought we were serious. Mom is serious. Dead serious. And it is because I you. I know things haven’t been the easiest, especially these past few weeks. But I want you to know just how amazing you are, as a creator, a TIEF, a writer, a queen, a sister, a bean, a daughter, a friend, and overall a lovely person. Danni, you were the one who asked me to join the group chat, and I have never been happier in my life. You have this amazing way of being able to make others comfortable and elicit the most hilarious and random jokes out of us. You never fail to cheer me up, especially when I am a bi disaster. Or when I am stuck in sad bi hours. And you have proved to me that calling someone an idiot can be affectionate. Even when you and Ayla team up on me (still not buying her a pole btw.) I can’t stop smiling. You add this chaotic and funny spice to my life and I shall eternally love you for that (but please don’t choke on a smartie). You know how to get me motivated and when to joke with me. And you have hilarious reactions to my jokes (I swear you are not actually a disappointment, I love youuuu. [but no pole] ) And you are such an amazing artist, like :0 (you were right, my eye did stop burning.) You are so special and I wish you could see just how much you mean to me. I never made friends who I felt so close with online before! (#I HATE TIME ZONES) And I’m not just complimenting you because it’s your birthday or because I am a hype mom. Danni, I mean it when I say you have impacted me so much. Look, I know I’m a lot, with my zillion ideas, huge word counts, and never ending list of puns, pick up lines, and stories of me being a flailing idiot, but you never once made me feel anything less than loved. So that’s what I want you to feel, always loved. Know that the fam and I will always have your back. You are such a beautiful girl and talented writer who has changed my life and not only helped me find new friends, but a family. Never forget that you have an amazing gift, an ability to make those around you smile. Happy Birthday to one of the Anne Boleyns in the group (even if you deny it), and to the best chaotic bean noodle in the world. I love you Danni. 💚💙💚💙
(P.S. I’m on Newspaper so you know I only spread the truth. :D ;3 )
XO my chaos child, you truly are one of a kind, no category.
Love you. Love you. Love you. Love you. Love you. Love you.
- Maddy the bi disaster hype mom who writes way too much. <3 @thenameisnoone
__________
Hey Danni! I know I didn’t write as much as the rest but your a beautiful writer! Whenever I check the Parrlyn tag and see that you’ve posted I immediately stop what I’m doing and read the masterpiece! You were one of the first people who spoke to me on Instagram and I couldn’t be more thankful for you doing that! I hope you have the best birthday and stay chaotic!!!! x @politics-notmything
__________
Danni,
Hey babes! Keeping this short and sweet. Thanks for making me feel more ancient than I already do, but another year older, another year hopefully wiser. You have been nothing but lovely and wonderful in the short amount of time that I have known you and I am so grateful that I can call you my friend. Have an absolutely wonderful birthday, Danni, and here’s to many, many more! Sending you all the love and light.
x Allie @little-bit-lost-and-found
__________
Danni,
I'm not sure what I can say that hasn’t been said already. So I guess I just want to say thank you. I was so anxious when you first added me to the group chat but now I'm so incredibly happy that I took that leap of faith and met this most incredibly family, so thank you for making the chat. Thank you for calling with me all any time (sometimes for over 2 hours), for making sausages with me, for being the test run with my parents, for editing that essay for me (I still ended up crying but itS OKAY), for putting up with me, for listening to my shit, for comforting me, for you (and Ayla) converting (read: corrupting) me, for being a true TIEF and for just being the most amazing friend, sister and person. I hope your day is awesome an you get royally spoilt. I hope this next year is a good one for you and many good things come your way. May you find good relationships, platonic or otherwise and may you be very happy. I LOVE YOU SM WTF
~ your baby-but-not-actually-younger sister, Hannah xx

______________________________
Hello everyone, it’s that time again! Coming back with WAJMS, woo! I am happy to say that I have chosen colored fonts over the read more function, as they are really pretty. :3 ;-;
I would like to take this note today, and highlight a very special person once again. Another one of my Internet Fam. And, they are the other Anne Boleyn of the group, @sarahzarahh
Today is her birthday, and I just wanted to not only wish her a happy day she be birthed into this world, but also remind her how much she is loved and appreciated. Such an amazing, talented, smart, funny, and all around sweet heart who pops up at the funniest of times to make me and the others smile. Sarah, you are such a great person and I’m so lucky to be your friend. Happy Birthday. Love you! 💙💚💙💚
Okay on a less sappy note, I am going to start the chapter before I cry.
Word count: about 2.3k words.
Warnings: cursing, sex joke, Anne is a gay dumbass, and Cathy is a bi disaster. :3
Enjoy~

Chapter 12
The agony of silence
————————————————
~RECAP~
"Really Cath, I'm fine." Anne muttered loud enough for Cathy to hear her.
“Okay, if you say so….” Cathy reluctantly dropped the subject. She glanced at Anne worried one last time before she turned away.
All she could do was give her space.
……………………………………………………………………………………………………………
Parr felt stuck, torn on how she could possibly help Anne. Any and all ideas she had on how to help lead back to failure. She had nothing, and she could do was watch Anne in discomfort. She sighed in frustration as she continued to walk with Anne, hand in hand, clinging onto her as if she was a life line.
Cathy was confounded by Anne and her mask. It made Cathy wonder what the true reality of the Boleyn girl was. How could she smile so bright, and then quiver in fear in less than mere seconds? It was like something had possessed her, or rather triggered her. Cathy was perplexed by the juxtaposition of Anne, yearning to understand why the shining light in her eyes dimmed. Could anyone blame her though? With Anne, she has seen the ugly and the beauty, the hate and the love, and the chaos and the bliss the girl brought with her. Each second Cathy spends with Anne, her heart pounds and interest grows, but at the same time her lack of knowledge seems to be more clearly defined.
How could Cathy help such a person? One who she found indescribable and incapable to wrap her head around. She wanted to know Anne, she wanted to help Anne, she wanted to be there for Anne.
But how can she do that, if she doesn’t see Anne?
The distance between the girls might be short in reality, but in Cathy’s mind, they were miles and miles apart.
Tension hovered over Cathy’s shoulders as she turned to observe Anne, who has been silently walking by her side for at least five minutes.
Cathy hated it. She hated the silence. Anne was so interesting and had the best opinions and stories to share, ones that were aggrandize by her affable voice, adorable dimples, and stunning smile. The combination of these factors and Anne’s profound thoughts always seemed to leave Cathy speechless in the best way possible.
But now silence laid before them, stiff and stilled. Honestly, they could probably hear a feather fall at this point.
The once bright smile and eyes that gleamed with mischief where replaced by an exhausted frown and dull eyes. Anne was bothered. It was obvious. Cathy could do nothing, and that was obvious too.
These past few minutes were pure agony.
The worst thing was, Cathy knew it was her fault. It had to be. Why else would Anne feel so distant from her, as if there was an imaginary wall between them even though they were walking right beside one another?
Catherine must have said something wrong. She didn't mean to offend Anne in anyway, yet she did. Catherine can tell something was clearly up. And it involved the nickname. "Annie."
But why would that cause such a reaction out of her? Did she have an ex who called her that?
Cathy didn't know what the reason was, but she did know one thing: she should most definitely use the nickname sparingly, especially with how Anne reacted.
"Man, I'm now itching to write." Anne groaned, gaining Cathy's attention.
Oh thank god, a conversation that ignores what just happened.
Sure, it was a bit random, but Parr doesn’t care. She’ll gladly talk about anything to break this tension. Especially writing.
"Really?" Cathy perked up as her lips curved into a small smile.
"Yeah, I just randomly get the urge based on my mood. Which means it can really go either way." Anne chuckled.
"Ah... what do you typically write about?" Cathy inquired.
Anne paused for a second, brows furrowed and lips pursed.
"The universe, whether it's the solar system, to the reflection caused by light bouncing off a surface. I like to go deep into any and every thought I might have," she answered.
"Sounds interesting, could I perhaps read some of your writing?" Cathy asked, pushing her luck in hopes to get to know Anne better.
"Maybe... if you can describe your thoughts of me." Anne teased, secretly hiding her motive to know what Parr thinks about her.
"Hmm.... well, that'll be hard since I like to associate my thoughts of people with words, experiences, and colors."
"What?" Anne asked as she had an eyebrow raised in amusement.
"I mean, like, um... shit how do I word this?" Cathy whined.
Anne laughed at how unprepared Cathy was for her question. Cathy then snapped her fingers.
"Ooh, I know, I'll give you an example. Let's do Anna. She is bold, red, and loves to joke around with us," Cathy said.
"Okay, that sounds very brief."
"Tsk. Tsk. Anne, we're writers. You should know the importance of both words, and elaboration." Cathy shook her head in fake disappointment.
Her gut was then greeted to a quick, playful jab from Boleyn's elbow.
"Hey!" Anne yelled.
"I speak the truth." Cathy laughed. "Anyways, anyone can see how strong, bold, and blunt Anna is, but she is also a funny, caring friend who is loyal no matter what. She stands out as she looks out for her friends."
"Ohhh... I think I get it now." Anne nodded, swinging their hands once again.
Anne really likes to do that, huh.
Parr found it cute, really cute.
"Great!" Cathy said.
"So what am I?" Anne smirked.
Cathy froze on the spot.
"..... I have the right to remain silent." Cathy stated as she avoided Anne's grin.
"What is this, a courtroom? Don't you dare think for a second that the Miranda law can get you out of this!" Anne joked as she playfully glared at her.
"Yes, it can." Cathy smirked as she playfully held a finger up to shush the girl.
Anne blushed as she playfully swatted it away with her free hand.
"No it can't." Anne narrowed her eyes and glared at her.
"It is my prerogative as a human being." Cathy dramatically pressed her palm to her chest and leaned back a bit.
"Fuck. Then you can't read my writing!" Anne shot at Catherine, causing Parr’s eyes to widen.
"Oh fuck."
The two then made eye contact and stared at each other. After a few seconds, the girls couldn't control themselves and burst out laughing. Cathy even ended up laughing so hard that she cried, but she ignored the warm water sliding down her face and blurry vision, she was just having too much fun with Anne to care.
"I don't know how the conversation ended up here, but I am loving every single second of this!" Anne wheezed.
"What were we even talking about again?" Cathy asked.
"Skepticism, I believe..." Anne managed to say after catching her breath from laughing so much.
"Oh, right." Cathy wiped some tears away.
"Y'know, its impressive that you knew what it is."
Cathy was smart, like hella smart. Anne admired that about Catherine. It was honestly sexy, and the Boleyn girl couldn’t help but panic internally when she saw Cathy’s dorky grin.
Anne then went on to admire Cathy’s curls. Good God, she is hella gay for curly haired girls.
While Anne was transfixed with Cathy’s hair, Catherine shrugged her shoulders nonchalantly in response to Anne’s statement. She was completely oblivious to Anne drooling over her.
"Eh, they don't just hand out the spot for first in class," Cathy informed her, playfully squeezing Anne’s hand. Hence, she snapped Boleyn out of her trance.
"O-oh. Okay, bit of a flex there, but still hella impressive. I think you are the first person my age who I didn't have to explain what that was to." Anne smoothly recovered as she continued to look Cathy up and down with a smile.
She definitely was both an intellectual, and a cutie.
"Well then, I am honored to be the first." Cathy leaned her head towards Anne for a second, hoping she could get away with the subtle and slight added contact.
"I'm glad you're my first too." Anne smiled.
They both then froze for a second, Anne slipped her hand out the grip of, a very disappointed and stunned, Catherine. Anne then covered her mouth and looked at Catherine with eyes screaming that she was mortified.
Realization of what just happened struck Catherine.
Fuck! What did she just say?!
"Wait, fuck, I didn't mean for it to sound like that!" Anne shouted with a red face.
Seeing this, Cathy instantly burst out laughing.
"Jeez, take me out to dinner first." Cathy grinned at her teasingly.
"Shut the fuck up!" Anne whined, covering her face to hide how flustered she was.
"Hey, you are the one who made the comment."
"Jesus Christ, I know that Cathy!" Anne uncovered her face, expression portraying sheer embarrassment. It was adorable. And to add the cherry on top, she was wearing that cute little pout of hers.
"Do you though? Do you really?" Cathy asked jokingly.
"Cathyyyy!"
Cathy then held her hands up in defense.
"Hey, don't get so worked up. All I'm saying is..." Catherine bit her lip to hold back her grin. "Try to keep it in your pants, gremlin."
Silence hung between them after that comment. Catherine had to cover her mouth to prevent herself from laughing at Anne's mortified expression. It was priceless.
"That's it, you are officially dead to me." Anne crossed her arms and huffed.
Cathy began to laugh again as she pulled Anne into a hug. It took a few minutes for her to calm down enough to make a coherent apology.
"I'm sorry." Cathy smiled as she nuzzled herself into the crook of Anne's neck, loving every second of the contact. So this was how Anne felt when she did this to Cathy: Nice, cozy, and bubbly. Huh. Cathy could get used to this.
Anne sighed, she couldn't be mad at Cathy for this, not for the life of her. Even if she wanted to scream into her pillow because of this girl. God, does she have to be so cute and playful? Honestly, it’s just so tempting to lay a kiss on her lips. But at the same time, Anne really wanted to be pissed at Cathy, to shoot a name back at her like a child.
It’s just that Anne fucking hates the nickname gremlin. It labels the side of her that he hates. It definitely didn’t help that the last thing she wanted to do was think about him. It just hurt, knowing that she wasn’t good enough...
Truthfully, she would have went off on Cathy if she was nearly anyone else. But that’s the thing. It was Cathy, and that, for whatever reason, made everything okay. It was even a bit... humorous? Oh god, this girl is killing her. And Parr’s smile, soft cuddles, and joyous laugh were certainly not helping. Anne just couldn’t bring herself to be mad. Not with Cathy. Not when it was for something so funny. And especially not when she apologized in such a cute way, giving Anne affection that she so desperately craved.
"Ughhh, fine. You are forgiven." Anne rolled her eyes, gently tapping Cathy’s nose with her free hand as she tried to hold back her small smile.
"So… First time, huh? I definitely would have worded it differently," Cathy teased.
At that, Anne began to laugh too. Parr went from quiet and shy to teasing Anne about a sexual comment in the span of a short walk. God, was Cathy entertaining to be around in such an amazing way.
"I fucked up! I know!" Anne admitted.
"It's never a dull minute when you are around, is it?" Cathy laughed as she then covered her mouth, hoping to calm her laughter.
Anne just put her hands down and sheepishly smiled.
"Nope." Anne smirked at her.
"Good, I could use a little impromptu fun." Cathy rolled her eyes and gave her an innocent smile.
"Really, you need me to have fun? Cause you look like a party girl to me."
"Sureeeeee, and Miss Terris is secretly a unicorn." Cathy said sarcastically.
"She told you?!" Anne gasped.
Cathy had let out a rambunctious laugh at Anne's response, ergo causing Anne to adore the pleasant sound.
"Glad I can make you laugh." Anne grinned.
"Anne, I don't think I have ever laughed so much in one day before," Cathy honestly told her.
"So, you think I'm funny?" Anne wiggled her eyebrows jokingly.
"Jeez, I don't know what to think about you anymore," Cathy said, not thinking much of it.
Anne froze for a second, face conveying curiosity. She then shook it off and smiled.
"What do you mean by that?" She asked.
"Well... I just recently met you and have already seen a few different sides of you. Like you said earlier, people are complex." Cathy fumbled with her hoodie. "So, I guess... I just don't know you well enough to properly describe you."
"Hm... well I guess we'll have to change that." Anne grinned as she grabbed Cathy's hand.
Catherine once again got to stare into those mystical green orbs that sparkled with mischief. The gaze lingered long enough for it to be considered more than 'friendly'. Interest laid behind it, both girls knew that. Yet neither of them dared to break it, nor comment on it.
"What do you have in mind?" Cathy cautiously asked.
Anne then bit her lip, anyone could see she was holding back her excitement as she bounced up and down on the balls of her feet.
"Well, Cathy Parr, would you like to play a game with me?" Anne asked.

We’re all just mirror shards
_________________________________________________________
Hey everyone! It’s No One here, or perhaps you now know (if you have read a certain lovely, beautiful, baby tief’s post) that my name is Maddy. It’s great to finally post this next part, first update of 2020! Woo!....
Yeah, I know, it’s been a while. I’m sorry for that, but not only am I working on future chapters and a special writing project (some of you might have already heard about it, oops-), but like, school. Ugh. But don’t worry, I have plenty of content to give you guys, so I shouldn’t fall too behind with my updating schedule!
I want to shoutout two people today. First off, one of my writing friends, @justonemoretheatrekid who is super sweet and has helped me with my bi panic, so thanks friendo! I enjoyed chatting with you! :3
I also want to give a special thanks to another one of my writing friends, @toomanyfamdom for not only helping me edit this sucker (legit the only reason I was able to post today. Bless her soul for putting up with my comma crazy piece.), but also for being the sweetest and best baby in the world. She makes me a proud mama. :3 love you baby! And thank you for not joining in on the “(censored name) for the pole” chant. I know how much you like to troll me tho, so I guess will see what happens next time. Lol. <3
Also, good news and bad news!
Good news! This chapter has the “read more” option! Bad News! It cost me all the pretty and colorful fonts. ;-; Also, it won’t let me edit my draft from my iPad now as I did the function on the computer. So like... I can’t fix it. :(
So now I have a dilemma. Which should I use, the read more function or the colorful and pretty fonts? Please reply down below if you have a preference. Anyways, enough with my long ass author note!
Without further interruption, the chapter! Woo!
Word count: about 2,212 words.
Warnings: Cursing, bullying. (Also, Anne being a useless lesbian gremlin and Cathy being a bi disaster. OWO UWU)
Enjoy~

Part 11
Annie Boleyn
————————————————————————————————
…………………………………......Recap………………………………………
“Sorry about that, I’m just so fucking tired of bullshit,” Anne muttered, snapping Cathy out of her thoughts.
"Huh?"
……………………………………………………………………………………………
Cathy was a dumbass. She had to be. How else could she have fucked up so badly with her words? They were her thing! But with Anne, all she could muster up to say was ‘huh?’ Huh! Ugh, she just can’t with herself right now.
What’s worse, this is serious. Anne looks like she needs someone to talk to, Cathy can be that person, but not if she’s a disaster.
Parr wants to be there for Anne. She craves to develop their relationship, for them to get closer. To be able to share inside jokes and small smiles with each other. To have long conversations and calling each other late at night just to rant because they know the other will listen. For the comfort of knowing that she does, in fact, matter to Anne.
Right now she felt farther away from her goal than ever. Looking up, she saw an indescribable look on Anne’s face, the only thing she could note was the fear in Boleyn’s eyes as she held herself. An uneasy feeling washed over Anne as she realized she might have said too much around Cathy. She was nervous. Cathy couldn’t believe it. Anne was scared of her own opinion, and that worried Parr. Boleyn was speechless, not knowing how to respond. It was painful to see this side of her. Yet Cathy couldn’t help but stare. This new side drew her in, and Parr couldn’t stop herself from questioning more and more about who Anne really was. And what could have possibly happened to the Boleyn girl to make her feel so mortified that she couldn’t even express her own feelings.
Now Cathy was scared. She couldn’t just stand there and wait Anne recover on her own. No, Catherine wants to help her, she needs to help Anne.
So with a deep breath, Cathy had made her decision to keep moving forward with the conversation. She refused to make Anne start things, this time she’ll make the first move. For Anne’s sake.
“Hey, are you alright? I’m here for you if you want to talk about it.”
“No, no. It’s stupid, just, please. Forget about it.”
Cathy felt as if she was stabbed in the heart after hearing that statement. Anne was amazing, smart, talented, and said some of the most interesting things Cathy has ever heard. And here she is now, saying that her feelings are stupid.
Cathy doesn’t know who made her feel like this, but they are going to pay for it. Yet, that is for another time, right now Cathy has to focus on comforting the Boleyn girl.
“Hey Anne, we’re friends right?”
“Well, yeah, I would like to think so.” Anne tentatively mumbled. She expressed a blatant insecurity that Parr would reject the idea. But why?
Parr wanted to further analyze this side of Anne and try to figure out what might have happened to her, but she couldn’t. Not right now, when Anne needed a friend. No, especially now since Anne needed a friend, someone to be there for her, to reassure her things were okay. That is what Parr needed to be right now. Her friend.
Cathy smiled, bumping their shoulders together. Hence, grabbing Anne’s attention as Parr stared at her with a look that Anne wasn’t used to seeing: patience and love. With a gentle squeeze reminding Anne of their connected hands, Cathy let the Boleyn girl bask in the show of affection. Anne deserves to enjoy this moment, to feel comfortable with her own thoughts. What’s more, she deserves to have someone to listen to her. Cathy can very well be that person. All Catherine had to do was prove that she would and could be there for her. So she spoke up, determined to help Anne no matter what it takes.
“Then there you go. Your opinion matters to me, Anne. As your friend, I don’t think this is stupid. Not one bit. So please, don’t feel afraid to talk to me. You have a wonderful voice, and I truly think it should be shared with the world.”
Cathy observed as Anne stared at her in shock. A blush formed on Parr’s cheeks as she noticed a sudden change in the Boleyn girl. Tension had quickly left Anne’s face and was now replaced by a small, soft, genuine, and breathtaking smile. Really, Cathy could go on about the beauty of Anne’s smile, but she was rather focused on something else. It was way more important than her feelings. Gratitude, that’s what Anne’s expression conveyed instead of the fearful look she wore mere seconds ago. Anne gently squeezed Cathy’s hand back, returning the affection as she pulled Cathy in so they could be in closer proximity. The action cause both girls heart to race as they were lost in the moment, staring at each other in a comfortable, knowing silence. Both were thinking the same thing.
She does see me.
Finally after taking a few deep breaths, Anne was the first one to break the silence.
“Thank you, that… that really means a lot Cathy.”
“Of course Anne. Do you, um... Do you want to talk about it?” Cathy gingerly asked.
Anne looked down as she contemplated what to do. After a few seconds of thinking it over, she slowly nodded her head.
“Alright, I’m here to listen whenever you ready.” Parr, acknowledging that she was looking down, squeezed Anne’s hand again. Cathy hopes it would reassure Boleyn that Parr planned on being there for her. Seeing that Anne had mustered up the courage to look up at Catherine and start her explanation, Cathy thinks it’s safe to say that it worked.
"Ok, so, our generation is stupid, right?” Anne started off.
“100% agree, continue please.”
“It’s just, no one cares about others' stories. Make believe or real, every story matters. Yet we cast them aside and hold an egocentric viewpoint that mentally and physically tears others down. And I’m so fucking sick of it!”
“Of the kids in the halls?” Cathy hesitantly asked.
“Of basically everyone! They all piss me off! Like, no one even understands why I read, the majority of those people don’t even think I can read! I’m nearly eighteen, for Christ's sake! How would I be in an advanced English class if I couldn’t read?”
“I don’t know, kids are stupid.”
“I know, but… you’re the first person to understand this and believe me…”
“Really?”
“Yeah, Anna won't shut up about how I can't do math, Kitty doesn't like poetry and always whines about me speaking ‘gibberish’ when I rant about it, and the rest of the school thinks I text shit like, 'dat waz fun' smiley face, winky face, kissy cat." Anne rolled her eyes. "It's just..." she pursed her lips, then looked at Cathy and gave her a small smile. "It hurts after a while, y’know. So it's extremely refreshing to finally talk to someone who appreciates writing."
"I totally get that." Cathy nodded.
"Really?" Anne stared at her as if she had two heads.
"Yeah... actually, at my last school, I was teased for reading so much," Cathy elaborated honestly. She doesn't know why, but she felt a need to tell Anne this. It was as if that Boleyn girl elicited a strong desire for Parr to talk about herself. She wanted to know all about Anne, and for Anne to know all about her.
Even if it was about her embarrassing loser past. It's not like she can escape it, only accept it and move forward.
"What the hell is wrong with this generation? That's stupid!" Anne groaned.
Well, at least Anne agreed with her about the matter.
"They called me novel nerd," Cathy bluntly stated.
"... Fucking Alliteration." Anne said after muttering what Cathy assumed was French swear words. She then pinched the bridge of her nose.
"Yeah." Cathy bitterly laughed.
"Want me to fight them for you?" Anne offered, holding her fist up and pretending to punch the air to show she was being serious.
"No, but thanks... it's just like you said earlier, it's nice just to be comfortable enough to talk about these things with someone and know that they respect it." Cathy smiled at her.
Anne lifted Catherine's hand up a bit and gently stroked it.
"Cath, I got you." The gentle action caused Cathy to blush. Anne then looked up with a spark of mischief. "Let's run away to live in a library."
Cathy couldn't help but let out an unlady-like snort. A bit embarrassing, yes. But luckily for Catherine, Anne adored it. She couldn't stop herself from adoring it even if she tried.
"Sounds like heaven." Parr grinned, finally managing to calm her laughter.
They both stared at each other for a few seconds in silence, but after those few seconds of silence, they burst into a laughing fit.
Catherine then looked up at Anne. Something caught her attention about her suggestion. The way she referred to something, or rather, herself.
"Cath, Huh?" She raised an eyebrow, looking Anne over in a teasing manner.
It's time for some playful payback.
She noticed how Anne flinched, and for a quick second, looked embarrassed, but it quickly washed away and was replaced by her usual confident expression.
"Oh, yeah. I just think it's cute and, um, it suits you. Is it alright if I call you that?" Anne asked.
Cathy couldn't stop the dorky smile that was spread across her face. Just hearing Anne give her a nickname just like how she had given one to Katherine, warmed Cathy up inside. She was growing closer to Anne each second and her interest for the girl continued to grow.
"Sure, but only if I get to call you nicknames too!" She agreed.
"Go for it, you got two slots."
Catherine pondered for a second. What should she call her?
Catherine couldn't help but giggle at the first thought to come to mind.
"Okay, first one has to be gremlin."
Anne's smile dropped and her eyebrows furrowed.
"You know what Cath? Fuck you." She huffed, a small pout was plastered on her face. Ergo, causing Cathy to burst into a giggling fit.
After a few seconds of giggling and admiring Anne's pouty face, Cathy managed to calm down.
"Okay, um... Next is.... hm."
It took Cathy a few seconds as she looked Anne up and down. She didn't actually need to check the girl out, she just wanted an excuse too.
The action, however, had caused Anne to blush.
Then it hit Cathy. Her lips quirked up at the idea for what to call the Boleyn girl. Sure, it was simple, but so was Cathy. So it’s fine. No, Parr will do one better.
It was perfect.
"Annie," Catherine said, squeezing Anne's hand and beaming at her with a warm smile.
Anne's happy expression fell after hearing that. Cathy noticed the change in expression.
"Um, is everything alright?" She asked.
"H-huh? Oh, um, yeah. It's swell." Anne nervously looked away.
Cathy stared at her worried, but Anne refused to show any sign of pain. Instead, she just gave Cathy a fake smile and avoided eye contact.
There it is again. The change in expression, the change in tone, the change in the atmosphere around her. All of these changes thickened the air and added to the mystery of Anne Boleyn.
Who was she?
Just a second ago, she was all bubbly. But with just a single name, she instantly became a timid sheep. She wore nervous, wide eyes that were surveilling the surroundings as if she was watching out for a predator, fearing for her life. However, the only other person there was Cathy.
She did that. She did this to Anne Boleyn. She doesn't know how, nor why, but she did it. An god, did it feel awful.
Cathy could only do what she thought was right at the time, to check on the girl.
With a gentle squeeze initiated by Cathy, Anne's eyes slowly looked up. Her breathing was a little heavy and her face was a calm, serious. Cathy's anxiety grew with each lurid second passing. Finally, after making it all the way up the excruciating trail, Anne's eyes met Cathy's.
For a brief second Cathy swore she saw the corner of Anne's eyes filling up with tears, and her skin was slightly paler than usual.
But it disappeared in seconds as she hastily swapped her expressions, as if she was trying to hide something. She... she was trying to hide herself.
Anne had put back on her mask, yet it was too late.
Her perfect image had already broke in front of Cathy, not that she planned on telling Anne that.
So with a heavy sigh, Cathy acknowledge that she needed to do something.
"Anne I-"
"Stop it. There's no need for that." Anne interrupted her in a cold tone, yet she still had a "smile" plastered on her face.
"Huh?" Cathy looked at her confused.
"Really Cath, I'm fine." She muttered loud enough for Cathy to hear her.
Cathy knew that wasn't the case. It most certainly wasn't the case at all. Cathy wanted to convey to Anne that she knew this, and that she wanted to help her. She wanted to stop right there, tell Anne it's okay not to be okay, perhaps even give her a hug.
But she didn't know Anne. They weren't close. Anne said it herself, they just met recently. And although Cathy was connecting with her, Anne might not be as into it. She doesn't know. Boleyn is still a mystery to her, one she has yet to uncover.
So how could she break through Anne's mask? She didn't have the right because she doesn't know her. At least, she doesn't know her yet.
"Okay. If you say so...." she reluctantly dropped the subject.
Mark Cathy's words, she'll read Anne's backstory one day. Cathy might cry, she might laugh, hell, she might not know what to think. But she knows that she'll be there for Anne when the time comes.
Until that day comes, this is all she could do for now.

We’re all just mirror shards
______________________________
Hello everyone, you beautiful queens! I have done it! I’ve completed my goal of updating at least 10 parts of WAJMS before the year came to a close. I can’t imagine a better way to end this year than to fangirl over these two dumbasses!
I look forward to this coming year, and I am excited to continue this story! Things will definetly change with WAJMS, and I can’t wait to see how you all react.
Enjoy your last few days of the year! Or in my case, nights because I fucked up my sleeping schedule by reading Parrlyn fics at 3 a.m. and now I can’t stop napping during the day. (I am literally hibernating in my room. Lol.) Eat ramen! Read fanfictions! Binge netflix! Sleep for 14 hours! Sing along to the Six soundtrack while pretending your hairbrush is a microphone! Our decade is ending, but a new one arises! So let’s enjoy the shit out of it while stanning (is that a word, lol?) the queens and shipping our beautiful ship!
Now I’ll end the A/N here so you all can read this piece full of bi/gay panic, fluff, and dumbasses! (Cause we all know by now that’s my specialty when it comes to writing Parrlyn.)
Word count: about 2,780 words.
Warnings: cursing, they are both hella awkward and have lots of gay/bi panic. Cathy is still a little horny. Why haven’t they kissed yet????? They are both dumbassesTM.
Enjoy~

Part 10
Pretty and smart
————————————————
"I'm sorry, what were we talking about again?" Cathy sheepishly asked like the dumbass bisexual she was.
God is she an idiot!
All she could do was pray that the incident would pass as she twiddled her hoodie string around one of her fingers. She was still in a bi panic because of the image replaying in her head: her holding onto Anne, her lips only centimeters away from Anne’s lips, a shiver sent down her spine as she could feel Boleyn’s hot breath trinkle against her own lips, heart racing as blood rushes all throughout her body, and the safe feeling of being wrapped in Anne’s arms, the ones she had just left mere seconds ago.
And now that’s all she can think about, not whatever they were talking about! Ughhh! She is such a horny bi disaster.
"Cathy!" Anne gasped in a melodramatic tone, seeming unfazed by what happened. Although she was dramatic, there was not a single drop of hurt or rage in her tone.
This eased Cathy a bit, seeing as Anne wasn’t too upset with her. She then decided to humor the girl, hoping it would assuage the awkward situation.
"What?"
"I am appalled that you wouldn't listen to every single word that came out of my mouth and worshipped it as if it was heaven itself. It’s like you are not secretly a robot like you told me before! Did you lie to me, and then decided it was okay to be a human and space out during our conversation? I just can’t! The audacity!" Anne huffed as she playfully bumped their shoulders together and gave Cathy a fake glare. She then giggled and leaned her head on Cathy's shoulder, the Parr's curls gently brushed her face as Anne was transfixed on the scent of Cathy's shampoo.
Strawberry.
Anne loves strawberries.
Cathy rolled her eyes at Anne's antics, yet felt her heart pound at the added weight on her shoulder and hot breath that tickled her neck. All the affection she was receiving back to back was making Cathy melt.
"Anne..." Cathy's eyes focused on their connected hands. Her anxiety subsided as a feeling of safety, peace and warmth unfolded itself from inside of Catherine.
This was too much for Parr’s gentle heart. Cathy never realized anything could feel so right, yet her hand fit perfectly in Anne's. And Anne's height was perfect for her to lean her head on Cathy. The playful, yet soft gazes that were mutually returned, the adorable laugh Anne had when she made a joke, how her brows furrowed when she was seriously thinking about something, and how her smile might be the most beautiful thing Catherine ever saw all made this moment perfect.
Some like to say that falling for someone either happens really fast, or extremely slow. There is no in between. Cathy has never been one for crush at first sight, but oh god. She is definitely the first one right now.
"Alright, I'm just messing with you, Cath. You gotta let me fuck with you a bit, that's what friends are for." Anne smiled as she nuzzled a bit into Cathy, loving the moment and taking any bit of affection she could get away with that was still considered ‘friendly’.
Parr couldn’t help but scrunch her face up after hearing that.
"You know, thanks to Anna, everything now sounds explicitly sexual."
Anne rolled her eyes.
"Anna will fucking do that to you." She sighed.
"Greeeeeaaat."
Anne snickered at Cathy's response. Yup, she was loving every second of getting to know this snarky, intelligent, and very cute girl.
"Anyways, I was going on about how you are such a great person to learn about, definitely better than I expected." Anne smiled at her sweetly, getting back onto the topic. “And that’s saying something, cause I had pretty high expectations for you, Miss hoodie strings.” She giggled as she squeezed Cathy’s hand.
Anne’s kind statement had caused Catherine to be embarrassed and confused. She doesn't know how she impressed Anne, she fucking locked them in a closet on accident, yet she somehow did. But hey, she ain't complaining.
"W-Well, uh, there's more to Catherine Parr than just books. I can, um, promise you that." Catherine awkwardly stuttered.
Jesus Christ. Why does she sound so stiff?
"Yeah. That I am discovering more and more each second we talk." Anne admired Cathy, taking in the beauty of both their conversations, and the girl herself. "It's nice, being able to joke around with people."
Thankfully, Cathy was able to calm herself and muster up a casual response.
"I hope you know, I have no intentions for becoming Anna 2.0." Catherine informed her with a serious expression. But she only received a laugh from Anne for a response.
"I know, that's not what I was referring to. It's just— it’s nice to know that people can be honest and have a good time with you. I think if you tease them and they tease back, it's shows the established trust you have in each other, and that you're comfortable and understand one another," Anne explained. “And once you have an established trust, you’re able to grow as people thanks to each other.”
"You know, you say things that blow my mind sometimes," Catherine honestly told her.
'Funny, I always figured I’d scissor my crush, not blow them,' Anne thought to herself with a mischievous snicker.
God, she really needs to stop hanging out with Cleves so much.
"What are you, a philosopher?" Cathy asked.
The question had caused Anne to think for a second, how should she respond?
"No, but I have read plenty of classical Greco-Roman works to understand philosophy and some questions in life," she truthfully explained, looking down at the sidewalk to avoid Parr’s gaze.
Anne was never viewed as the smart type. She was always seen as chaotic and flirty. That was her image, her only image. This made her small confession scary, how would Parr react? Will she judge her just like the rest, or is she better than people like him?
Please don't let this be a mistake, the last thing Anne wants is to be disappointed again.
She then hesitantly looked up at Cathy to see her smiling softly, a brow playfully raised in curiosity.
"Really now?" Cathy looked at her, not in shock like others, but in interest. It sent chills all around Anne's body, yet also brought a sense of relief.
Cathy wasn’t overly surprised. Anne couldn't help but grin at this.
God, was Anne tired of being stared at in shock for being smart, so seeing the intrigued look on Cathy's face was heaven.
"Yeah, but I prefer what came after with the renaissance, or should I, as a French girl, say, la Renaissance." Anne wiggled her eyebrows at Cathy, who covered her mouth with her free hand and laughed.
"Oh god, Anne. I'm so sorry about the French girl comment."
"Good. You should be." Anne pouted, causing Cathy to bite back a smile.
Fuck, she's cute!
Why is everything Anne Boleyn does is cute?
"My favorite piece is probably the divine comedy, but I did really enjoy learning about philosophies like Skepticism." Anne elaborated, going back to their original conversation.
"The belief that there is some knowledge we will never know?" Catherine looked up at her.
"Yeah, sorta like theories, a good chunk of them we can only debate about.... I like to think people are like that too." Anne smiled at Cathy, she then looked forward and gave Cathy's hand another quick and gentle squeeze.
"What do you mean by that?" Cathy inquired her.
"Honestly, I don't fully know. It changes from time to time."
"Oh."
Catherine tried to hide her disappointment, she didn't want to be rude. No, that’s the last thing she wanted. She just wanted to know Anne better.
Anne then turned her head towards Cathy and gave her a goofy grin that made Cathy’s heart flutter.
"But I can tell you that right now I like to look at it like this: people are mysterious creatures," She began to explain. "You can never know for sure what they are going to do. You really can only hear your own thoughts, and even then, no one truly knows who they are. That's why we go through an identity crisis. It's just life, the greatest mystery that shall never be discovered.... so in some ways, people are the knowledge we shall never know." Anne ended her monologue, finally turning to see Catherine's reaction.
Cathy stared at her in awe, eyes full of interest and wonder, and mouth slowly hung agape. It caused Anne to blush once she realized what she had said.
Shit, she didn't mean to get that deep into it. Did she say too much? Does she sound stupid? She really needs to stop contemplating life at one a.m. and think before sharing her early morning thoughts with others.
Anne then realized she was panicking and tried to get a hold of herself.
Oh, fuck this bullshit. The deed has already been done! All she can hope for now is that Cathy isn't too weirded out by her strange, philosophical views.
On the contrary, Catherine was profoundly amazed by Anne, and firmly believed that Boleyn's attractiveness just shot through the roof thanks to seeing this side of her. As if it wasn't high already.
"Holy fuck, you are very poetic." Catherine thought out loud, causing both her and Anne to get flustered. She was now rivaling Anne's blush.
"Well, I do write a bit of poetry." Anne chuckled.
This caused Catherine to stop in her tracks, tugging Anne back as their hands stayed connected.
"Huh, is everything okay Cathy?" Anne asked as she worryingly looked back at her.
Catherine stared at her in amazement, which caused Anne's stomach to be in knots by the attention she was not used too, and lacked.
Sure, at school plenty of people stared at her. But this was Cathy, Anne actually cared about her opinion and attention. After all, Parr was the cutie fate kept throwing at her, each time making Anne look more and more like an idiot. How could she not feel at least a bit nervous around the girl?
Especially the way Cathy looked at her. It was different than others. It had to be, how else could Cathy stirred up such a reaction from the Anne Boleyn.
Then again, Anne was hella gay and touch starved.
But it didn't help that Cathy was a considerate, and extremely cute, nerd.
Catherine then finally spoke, which gained Anne's attention as she glued her eyes onto Cathy.
"Say psych. Say psych right now." Cathy continued to stare at her.
Anne didn't know how to react. It was comical, really. Never had she imagined Cathy to say such an Anne Boleyn thing before. But at the same time, it made Anne wonder about why she would have this reaction.
"Cath?" Anne looked at her, very confused about what the big deal was.
Cathy, at first, seemed to have kept a serious, straight face on. One that had sent a chill down Anne's spine.
But then Anne saw the excitement in Cathy's eyes, and her huge, dorky smile. It then clicked inside Anne's head, and she couldn't help but smile and feel all giddy inside at the thought.
Cathy was a huge literature nerd like her. It’s why they got along so well. It was their thing to connect over, they had a thing! Could this day get any better?
"You write? Holy shit! That makes so much sense! And it's fucking amazing! I thought I was the only aspiring writer at this school!" Catherine basically shouted as she wrapped her free arm around Anne’s arm and leaned into the girl, bouncing with each step as wonder danced in her eyes. Her adrenaline making her completely oblivious to how loud or touchy she was with Anne, thus rendering Boleyn to a flustered gay panic.
Honestly, her excitement was just too cute to Anne.
Scratch that, Cathy was just too cute to Anne. It was to the point where all Boleyn wanted to do was cuddle the shit out of this nerd.
"I mean, it's not that big of a deal." Anne modestly looked down and smiled.
Catherine then gasped as if she just admitted to committing man-slaughter.
"Are you kidding me? Anne, that's amazing! You're amazing." The words left Catherine's mouth naturally.
"Cath, I'm not that am—"
"Anne, please, not everyone is pretty and smart." She said without thinking.
They both then froze on the spot as Catherine realized what she just said.
Afshfebeigsjk. Shit. Fuck. Crap. Ughhh!
Panic. It’s time to effing panic.
This is bad. This is really bad! How could she let that slip?
No, no. Calm down. Don't think of the worst outcome.……
Maybe she won't even notice?
".... you think I'm pretty?" Anne smiled as her eyes lit up in a playful sense.
Motherfucking bullshit!
Catherine felt the blood rush straight to her face as she released Anne’s arm, far too nervous that Boleyn would notice her new red complexion. Anne sadly allowed it to happen, but made sure to keep their hands connected as she was too stubborn to let go of Cathy, ergo causing her own face to heat up a bit.
"T-that is besides the point," Parr stuttered.
"Aw, Cath!" Anne, overloaded with Parr’s cuteness and high on serotonin, tackled Cathy into a hug, taking her by surprise. However, the other girl soon began to sink into Anne’s loving touch. "Thank you." Anne smiled at her.
"No problem I guess..." she avoided Anne's playful stare, but couldn't help but smile when she heard Boleyn giggle. " ...So poetry?" Cathy asked, obviously trying to change the topic.
Lucky for her, Anne seemed to enjoy the new topic of literature.
"Yup," Anne said, popping the 'p'.
"What's that like?" Cathy asked.
"It's amazing! It's like, you describe both yourself and the universe through your writing. It's life, but at the same time it’s death. It’s a fucking paradox. It always seems to make sense, yet at the same time it is never truly comprehended, and it is fueled by emotion and thoughts! It's just so amazing in so many ways. Like how you can—" Anne went on to rant about poetry.
Cathy would have listened more, but she couldn't stop herself from zoning out. Nope, not when Anne wore that cute smile of hers, or how Cathy couldn't help but notice how her eyes lit up like a Christmas tree, or how the girl was basically bouncing up and down as she gestured all around with her free hand, or how the other hand swung as it was intertwined with Cathy's. Nope, she was way too captivated with Anne to actually listen.
Cathy was so bewitched by Boleyn that she didn't notice when Anne stopped her rant, nor did she notice how Anne smirked as she realized Catherine was blatantly staring at her instead of listening.
You would think with how smart she is, Parr would have learned her lesson from her earlier bi panic.
Nope.
"You like what you see there, Cathy?" Anne teased.
Catherine instantly snapped out of her staring state, her eyes widened and face turn red. This caused Anne to giggle. She was eating up every single one of Cathy's awkward fidgets. Catherine was such an awkward underclassmen, and Anne loved it.
"I— I, um, you just seem really passionate about writing, and that's really cool." She attempted to cover up her blatant staring.
"Well, I'm glad someone thinks so." Anne sighed as her demeanor changed.
That response had caught Parr off guard. Anne was so passionate and cool and playful just a few seconds ago. So why is it that now she was so stand-offish and portraying disappointment? Was it something she said?
But she was only talking about poetry. And Anne expressed earlier that she loves poetry!
“Sorry about that, Cath. I’m just so fucking tired of that bullshit,” Anne muttered, snapping Cathy out of her thoughts.
Parr’s eyes soon widened after hearing this. Confusion swirled around in her head.
What could Anne possibly mean by that? She wanted to know.
Yet how should she respond to that? She could only cross her fingers and pray that she said something smart.
With a deep breath and determination in her eyes, Cathy turned to Anne to ask her about her statement, and check that everything is alright with the Boleyn girl.
"Huh?"
It was the only fucking thing that had managed to leave Parr’s mouth.
Anne then looked at her, and Cathy froze on the spot. An awkward silence hung above their heads.
This, this is exactly why she doesn’t like to socialize and has just recently started to make friends!
That’s it. Cathy gives up on both words and life in general.

We’re all just mirror shards
______________________________
Hello everyone, I am super pleased to say that the first part of this chapter is finally up! (Even if it is two hours after my goal, but hey, the chapter is at least 13,000 more words than I had planned it to be.) I am pretty content with it, and it is spell checked! But it’s google docs and my brain at 1 a.m., so spelling can honestly go either way. >_> <_<
Overall, the chapter was fun to write, and I think it builds up both Parrlyn’s relationship, and a certain side character, so I’m super pumped to see how you guys react to it. ^.^
If any of you were wondering, my mom bought me a pizza so I ate that instead of ramen, now I am in a good mood and regret the sad backstory I wrote about— wait... that’s a spoiler. Oops. :0
Also, I chose to read fanfics instead of sleep, and spam you all with emoticons. Might I add, I have no regrets with these decisions, only sleep deprivation. :3
Anyways, enough with my delirious author’s note! Let’s get on with this (hopefully) amazing chapter! ;D
Word count: about 2,800 words.
Warnings: the word “fuck” is used a lot (I head canon fuck as being the legal response to bi/gay panic for when you see a cute girl being cute, or do something stupid in front of a cute girl. Sorry, not sorry), just cursing in general, lots of self doubt and awkward gay and bisexual moments. Mainly dialogue (these next few chapters will all be mainly dialogue), references sex, Cathy is a bit horny and needs a Hershey’s kiss or a kiss from her gremlin. They are both confirmed to be a fucking mess and total dumbasses when they are stuck in a bi/gay panic.
Enjoy~

Part 9
Intertwined
————————————————
Anne Boleyn, to put it lightly, was screwed.
How did she think this was a good idea? Why did she give into Anna's stare and offered to walk Parr home? Now she is so nervous that her palms are sweating. Oh god, what if Cathy thinks she's gross? She'll never want to talk to her again!
Wait, she's not going to try to hold her hand, right?
Yeah! So it's okay!
….Unless.....
Fuck. Now she wants to hold Cathy's hand! No. No! Begone thought! Get out of her head! Whoosh!
Okay... Now that's dealt with, Anne has to focus to make sure that she doesn't nervously spew a pick up line. Oh god, Anna would never let her hear the end of it if she even remotely tried to flirt with Cathy in any way possible.
In hindsight, Anne should have realized this was a fucking dumb idea.
Call it her superior dumbassary, but she somehow thought that she could calmly walk Parr home without fucking things up.
Anne. The one fucking nicknamed "Gremlin" for her chaotic nature and how she is intrinsically a flailing idiot!
What was she thinking?!
Wait, scratch that. Anne already knows the answer.
She wasn't.
God, sometimes Anne wished she was less impulsive. Like, come on!
She hasn't been interested in someone in so long, not since the incident. And even if she is a bit into Cathy, her dad would never let her date a girl.
Not to mention, she will probably ruin any hope she has with Parr as soon as she sees how much of a moron Anne is.
Definitely not her best idea.
'Hey, you think this girl is kinda cute and she seems nice! Let's scare her off by showing her just how much you can be, and then beg her to walk her home to show how clingy you are! That will totally score you a date!'
The last thought caused her mind to freeze.
A date? With Cathy?
Well, actually, now that she has thought about it, Anne wasn't that opposed to the idea...
What? She's cute! Let her gremlin side be chaotically gay!
Wait, would this count as a date? Like, cause Anne technically asked if they could do this, but she probably just said yes because of how heteronormative standards ruin any chance of subtlety when it comes to gay flirting.
Wait, was Cathy into girls?
Oh fuck, what if she was trying to move in on a straight girl!
Fuck, fuck, fuck, fuck, fuck, fuck, fuck, fuck, fuck, fuck, fuck, fuck, fuck, fuck, fuck, fuck, fuck, fuck, fuck, fuck, fuck, fuck, fuck, fuck, fuck, fuck, fuck, fuck, fuck, fuck! Oh Fuck!
Oh the little shit controlling her mind needs to get a fucking hold of themselves!
How is she supposed to causally talk to Cathy if her mind is stuck on useless-awkward-lesbian mode?!
Ughhh, she doesn't know! All these thoughts are making Anne's head spin.
"Anne, are you alright?" Cathy asked in a worried tone.
Thankfully, hearing Catherine’s sweet voice managed to snap Anne out of her gay thoughts.
She then took a deep breath to calm herself.
'Don't worry Boleyn, you got this. You're the baddest bitch around!'
She then sneakily gave Catherine a quick glance and noticed her worried little pout.
Anne then pursed her lips as she shoved some stuff into her locker.
'Fuck, why does Cathy have to be so adorable when she's being considerate?'
Anne took another deep breath and closed her locker door. She then plastered a confident smile across her face and ran towards Parr.
"Hey, yeah. It's just... sorry for making you wait." She apologized, then gave Cathy a nervous laugh as she hoped to hide how awkward she was.
The answer, however, seemed to cause Cathy to perk up.
"Oh, really, that's all? It's no big deal Anne, especially when you are being really sweet." Catherine smiled.
Anne couldn't help but to genuinely return the smile.
"You think I'm sweet?" She teasingly asked, falling back into her normal, confident state.
Instantly, Anne noticed how Cathy's cheeks flared up at the statement, it was as if Anne just set off a firecracker.
"I-I- Uh... I mean yes, you are really nice, and funny, and considerate. So yeah, I guess you can, um, say that I think you are really sweet." Cathy rubbed the back of her neck awkwardly.
'Fuck, why am I so nervous? It was just a simple question.' Catherine internally whined.
Yet Anne couldn't help but grin at her reply. In her eyes, Cathy was just being too cute.
"Aw, Cathy. You're way sweeter!" Anne giggled as the words come naturally to her and flow smoothly out of her mouth.
'Good, this is good. Now just make sure you don't say anything stupid.' Anne thought to herself.
"Thanks," Catherine mumbled as she played with one of her curls.
Oh, how cute Cathy was when she played with her curls. Or when she fidgeted with her hoodie strings. Or when she stuttered or blushed or said a thought out loud. Honestly, Cathy was just an adorable dork and Anne was reveling in her cuteness.
"So, how's it going with the change? If I remember correctly, you just recently moved here, right?" Anne asked, trying to start a natural conversation.
"Yeah, it's been about two months. I've finally made some friends and I am now in our English class, so I think it's going pretty good."
"Well that's good, but you must have left behind a lot of friends and broken hearts coming here," Anne joked.
"Nope," Catherine quietly muttered under her breath.
Catherine looked down and sighed after hearing her own response, thus catching Anne's attention.
"Um, sorry, are relationships a touchy subject?" She asked, praying that she didn't screw things up already.
"Kinda," Cathy mumbled, unsure of how to respond.
Great. Now how was she going to explain to Anne that she was a loser?! Ughhh!
"I'm sorry for bringing it up." Anne looked down, scolding herself in her mind.
"Oh no, Anne. It's just, um, I don't usually make friends." Catherine awkwardly twirled one of her hoodie strings around her finger.
Anne's eyes widened when she heard Cathy’s response.
"Really?" She then noticed Cathy's uncomfortable stance and mentally cursed herself. "Wait, shit. Sorry mate, that was rude."
"No, it's alright." Catherine looked down at her shoes, which she was suddenly interested in. "You see, my family moves every few years, so it's been kind of hard making new friends. At some point, I stopped trying and started shutting others out by reading. I figured at least then I don't have to say goodbye." She looked up at Anne and bitterly chuckled, which caused Anne to look at her worried.
"Cathy... I'm sorry, I had no idea." She wore a cute, childish frown.
Cathy shrugged in response.
"Don't be, things are much better now that I know I won't be forced to move again."
"Really? That's good! Did your parents switch jobs?" Anne asked excitedly.
Cathy couldn't stop her lips from twitching upwards into a smile when she saw how excited Anne got.
"No, but by the time they are offered to relocate, I will be in college and living on my own. So now it's my choice whether I wish to stay with them or not," she explained.
"You know, you are oddly smart and mature for our age," Anne said.
Feeling a burst of confidence, Catherine decided to make a joke.
"I would love to say the same for you, but I just recently walked in on you falling off a swivel chair." Cathy bit her lip.
"Hey!" Anne playfully elbowed her, causing Cathy to burst out laughing, she then raised her hands up in defense.
"I kid, I kid!"
"You better be kidding. I am very responsible." Anne huffed.
Cathy just raised her eyebrow at her, causing both of them to burst out laughing. Anne was laughing so hard that she needed to stop and steady herself on Cathy.
"Okay, okay, maybe I'm a little chaotic," Anne admitted, briefly leaning her head onto Catherine's shoulder. The affection-filled action had caused Cathy’s heart to skip-a-beat.
"Congratulations, you know how to make an understatement," Cathy replied in a snarky tone.
Anne rolled her eyes in response.
"Cathy, you are really lucky I like you, otherwise you would so be catching hands right now." Anne fake glared at her and playfully stuck out her tongue.
Cathy couldn't help but beam at this, all she could focus on was the fact that Anne likes her.
"Oh, catching hands you say? My god, Anne, you are such a gen z," Cathy teased.
Anne playfully narrowed her eyes at Cathy.
"Ok, boomer."
Catherine raised her eyebrow after hearing this.
"Anne, you are older than me." Cathy stared at her in sheer amusement.
"Uhhhh, uno reverse card!"
"Okay, now you are just purposely being chaotic." Catherine laughed.
"Gasp! Me, I would never!" Anne eyed Cathy, then her face broke into a grin. "Who told you?"
"Anne, you legit just said gasp, your fake dramatic tone is what told me."
"Excuse you, but this is 100% authentic dramatic bullshit!"
"Don't quit your day job then."
"Gasp! Cathy, you hurt me!" Anne turned her back and leaned on Cathy for a few seconds as she placed a hand over her chest, pretending to have been in pain.
Catherine just rolled her eyes, this girl was too much in all the good ways.
"Please, you are loving my witty retorts." Cathy smirked.
Catherine stiffened up a bit when she felt the soft sensation of Anne's hand slipping into hers. She then stared down at their now intertwined hands.
'Holy fuck, she is touching my hand... She is touching my hand... She is fucking holding my hand! Ahhh! Do straight girls always do this? Fuck, what do I do in this situation?!' Cathy began to panic in her mind.
Anne saw Cathy's nervous expression and gave her hand a small, gentle squeeze that calmed her down.
"I do," Anne said.
Catherine snapped out of her frantic state; she then looked at Anne curiously.
"Huh, what?" She asked confused. Cathy's lost expression had elicited a loving giggle out of Anne.
"I like your witty remarks. I think it shows another side of you, one that's a bit more relaxed." Anne began to swing their hands a bit.
Time was still for a second. Everything around the two was blurred out, as if Cathy was a camera. All she could focus on was Anne. The one who was the center of Cathy’s attention. Anne, the one with this constant aura of mystery around her. Anne, the one who had the most jaw-dropping smile that could turn anyone blind with how bright it was. Anne, the ambitious girl who withstand all that her peers have thrown at her. The one with thoughts that left Cathy’s mind boggled, the one who wore a mask, the one with an innocent heart that has been slashed and bashed over the years. Anne, the one who was walking her home, hand-in-hand, singing her praise when Cathy couldn't even think to try and compare to the Boleyn girl.
All Cathy could think about was Anne.
Cathy was mesmerized by her. No, mesmerized couldn’t fit the description of what she felt for Anne. She knew this from the way her heart pounded in her chest, as if it was trying to escape from a locked room. And how her breath hitched a little every time Boleyn said her name. Or how her eyes constantly found themselves wandering to the girl, down to their hands, and back to the girl. Cathy was fascinated and fixated on Anne.
Catherine's desire was to get to know the girl, she wanted to uncover the mystery that surrounded the beautiful girl since Cathy had first laid eyes on her, yet she was so spellbound that she couldn't focus on her feelings. Or to better phrase it, her developing feelings.
Each second crept by, yet it felt like an eternity with Anne standing next to her. Cathy could feel it, her interest growing and developing the crush. It still surprised her. Cathy didn't usually like someone, but when she connected with someone like Anne, it always happened fast and it always been hard.
Fuck, that last bit sounds wrong. She doesn't want those kind of thoughts to be imaged with Anne.
Yet, Anne does have a very attractive figure and confident sangfroid. Cathy could totally imagine Anne's hair pulled back into a bun, Boleyn towering over her and moving her hands slowly down Cathy's body. They would explore her with passion, pressing against every hidden and sensitive area of skin that Cathy would hide from the rest of the world. And then they would be replaced by her tongue. She would savor the experince by following the path down from her neck, past her stomach, not stopping until they reach her hips and—
"-th. Cathy. Hello? Is anyone there?" Anne popped her head in front of Cathy's. She was curiously looking at the survivor.
Catherine's face began to flush as she pictured what Anne's expressions would be if she had top— No! Stop it! No more horny Bi disaster Cathy! God! Eat some fucking chocolate and get a hold of yourself!
Cathy quickly shook her head to help refocus herself on walking with Anne, and not imagining her sinful thoughts. She didn't respond to Anne, much to Boleyn's confusion.
"Cathy, are you okay?" She asked worried.
"Um, yeah, sorry Anne. I was a bit lost in thought." Cathy sighed.
Anne then smirked at Parr, giving her a puckish stare.
"Uh huh, and that totally has nothing to do with you blatantly staring at my body?" Anne stroke the back of Cathy's hand as she stared at the survivor, very amused by the girl.
“Wait! What? No, Anne— I— I wasn’t—”
“Drooling over my tits and miniskirt? Suuuure.”
"I— um..."
Instead of finishing her response, Cathy stayed embarrassingly silent.
Shit. What does she say in this situation? She wasn’t even purposely staring at her there this time!
Guess this is karma for thinking such filthy thoughts. Fucking hormones and puberty, making her all horny and shit.
Anne then burst out laughing at Parr’s awkward lack of a proper response.
"I'm kidding Cath." Anne smiled impishly. She saw the relief wash onto Cathy's face and absolutely adored her relaxed expression. "Though, it’s not like I would mind if you were." She muttered under her breath.
"What was that?" Cathy looked at Anne curiously.
A nervous laugh slipped out of Boleyn's lips as she softly gazed at Cathy.
"Oh, nothing." Anne innocently grinned at her.
"What, but I want to know," Cathy whined a bit, now sounding like the Boleyn girl herself.
Maybe gremlin is contagious.
"Oh well." Anne teased, playfully pulling Cathy closer to her and laughing. The action had caused Parr to lose balance and press her hand on Anne's collarbone to both regain her balance, and prevent their heads from colliding with one another. Anne then instinctively wrapped an arm around Cathy’s waist and pulled her in even closer to help her steady, and adjust, herself against Anne.
The two awkwardly made eye contact, Cathy's eyes full of shock, Anne's filled with amusement. The gaze lingered for longer than it should have to be considered friendly. Finally, Catherine jumped back a bit as she got out of Anne’s grasp, much to Boleyn’s disappointment. She then awkwardly cleared her throat, hoping to both calm herself down, and ignore her pounding heart. It instantly failed the second Anne reconnected their hands, wanting to regain at least some of the affection she just lost.
Anne just watched how flustered Parr got in amusement while Cathy, herself, began to panic.
Shit. Shit. Shit. How does one talk again? Because she totally forgets how to properly hold a conversation when Anne gives her even the smallest amount of affection. It’s like she forgets how to word things. And words are literally Parr’s thing! But now, she would be lucky to make a proper sentence!
What should she even say in this situation?
Catherine then turned to Anne to see that she was waiting for Cathy to start the conversation up again.
Well, fuck. Looks like she’ll just have to cross her fingers and pray for things to go alright.
Here goes nothing.
"I'm sorry, what were we talking about again?" Cathy nervously asked.
As soon as the words left her mouth, Cathy and Anne instantly froze.
She did not just fucking forget what they were just literally talking about, and then curtly admit to it as if ignoring Anne was no big deal. Was she really that distracted by the thought of Anne fucking h—
For fuck sake, of course she was! What the hell is wrong with her mouth and mind when she is around Boleyn?
Cathy, honest to god, wants nothing more than to just sink into the earth at this very moment.
It’s official, folks. Catherine Parr is more than capable of being a dumbass when she is in a bi panic because of a pretty girl.

We’re all just mirror shards
______________________________
Hello everyone, it’s another chapter! Woo! I’m really excited to be able to update more thanks to my break. My new goal is to update at least part 10 before 2020.... but who knows if I can. After all.....
I don’t have 20/20 vision. :333333
Alright, jokes aside, I’m really hoping to be able to finish part 10. Then I’ll be 1/4 through the unrav— oops. That’s a spoiler. :3
Basically, I’ve been planning the story and am excited to say that you are not getting rid of me anytime soon. So if you want a roller coaster ride of fluff, angst, maybe something a little smexy, or maybe just a developed relationship, then you chose the write fanfic!
I can’t say much without spoiling it, all I can say is that I hope you enjoy it, and that this will probably end up being a 100k rollar coaster of all the queens stories centered around Parrlyn’s growing relationship.
Also, happy holidays!
Without further ado, Part 8!
Word count: about 2350 words.
Warnings: Cursing, not the best editing (but I still edited and had spell checks) (if anything doesn’t make sense, please tell me).
Enjoy~

Part 8
Operation: Parrlyn
————————————————
"Anne, who is she?" The young girl pointed at Cathy.
Shit.
Catherine never introduced herself! Ugh! She is so rude!
"Ah! Where are my manners?" Anne gasped, basically reading Cathy's mind. "Cathy, this is Kitty. Kitty, this is Cathy Parr, a super smart girl from my English class."
Kitty's eyes lit up after hearing that.
"Really?" She turned to Catherine in excitement.
"Yup. And she's a junior, just like you." Anne grinned.
This caused both Cleves and Kitty to look at Parr in amazement.
"What?" Cleves asked in awe.
"No way! That is so cool!" Kitty squealed.
The excitement had caused Cathy to look down and blush.
"Oh, it's um, you know, not really that big of a deal." She awkwardly played with her hoodie strings again.
"Cathy, are you kidding me?" Anne said, causing Cathy to look up. "Seniors are rarely accepted into that class, and you got in as a junior. That is an incredible accomplishment, so don't sell yourself short." Anne smiled at her as she placed a comforting hand on her shoulder.
The soft action made Cathy melt. The real Anne Boleyn was soft. No, she was extremely soft. So Cathy was loving every second that she got to savor of it, she hoped to engrave this part of Anne into her head.
She was unintentionally obvious with the loving and longing look in her eyes that was aimed towards Anne, as Cleves interrupted the moment.
"You see Kitty, Anne accidentally left out the fact that Parr here, is her new secret lover."
Thus, Catherine and Anne both stiffened up and blushed at Cleves' joke.
"Anna, what the actual fu-" Anne was yelling, but she then turned around to see Cleves, with the most shit eating grin, pointing at Kitty. Anne's eyes then widened as she realized what was happening. "-uuuuuuu-reak, yeah, what the actual freak gave you the idea to say that?" Anne asked, obviously uncomfortable with her words.
Cleves then burst out laughing as Kitty squealed.
"Oh my gosh, you are so cool! You are not only super smart for our age, but you are dating the best person I know! And you are really pretty and seem so nice! Oh, I'm so happy for you Bo Bo!" Kitty jumped onto Anne, giving her a tight, bear hug.
This confused Cathy as she stared at Kitty.
'Are her and Anne not a thing?' She wondered.
Anne just sighed as Kitty excitingly pulled away. Anne then cupped her cheeks and held her still, thus forcing them to make eye contact.
"Katherine Aimie Howard, I need you to listen to me carefully." Anne wore a serious expression.
So that's her name, huh. Parr didn't expect her to be a Catherine too.
"Yes Bo Lee Lee?" Katherine asked with an innocent smiled.
Okay, just how many nicknames do these girls have? Kat, KitKat, Kitty, Bo, Bo Bo, Bo Lee Lee. What's next? Kat woman and Little Bo peep?
"I. Am. Single." Anne stated slowly. After she finished she released Kitty from her grasp.
"As in, you guys are secretly dating? Or as in, you guys are still working through the friends-to-lovers trope?" She asked, misinterpreting Anne's message. Thus causing Catherine to choke on air, which gained the other's attention.
Cathy couldn't help it though, the phrases these girls say are just so spontaneous that they take her by surprise. Just listening to their conversations sends her mind on a rollercoaster.
"It's the second one!" Cleves screamed.
"Will you shut up?" Anne glared at her.
"Don't hate on my ship!" Cleves yelled in response.
"What? Ship- oh Jesus Christ, Cleves!" Anne groaned as she pinched the bridge of her nose.
"Just fuck already!"
That had caused both Anne and Cathy to awkwardly stiffen up. Anne also gave Cleves a death glare that looked like she was actually going to kill her.
"I thought it was, 'now kiss.' Am I wrong?" Kitty asked.
"That's for a pussy... but then again, that would make it gay. So it would definitely suit them," Cleves teased, ignoring the angry gremlin glares she received from Anne.
God, why has this been happening to Catherine. She finally has a possible crush, but now has to deal with being teased with sex jokes and lead on by false implications nonstop. God, life would be so much easier if she could just be in a relationship with literature.
....Can she?
"Cleves, please, I'm asking you nicely. Stop it with the jokes. If not for my sake, then do it for Cathy's." Anne gave her a pleading look.
Cleves then looked at Catherine seriously, after a few seconds, she sighed.
"Well when you ask like that, I feel like a bitch. And not one of those cool badass bitches who will end you if she so desires. But like, a small bitch who's fucking things up."
"You feel bad?" Anne asked.
"Yes," Cleves agreed.
"Good." Anne coldly stared at her.
"Fuck you, Bo, I only feel bad for Cathy." Cleves stuck her tongue out at Anne.
"Of course you do." Anne sighed.
"Wait, so are you guys a thing, or....?" Kitty was looking at them curiously.
"No, Katherine, we are not." Cathy finally informed her.
"Oh... not yet?" She asked with a hopeful look.
Do they really think she has a chance with Anne that much, or are they just fucking with Catherine at this point because she obviously has a kinda-maybe-sorta-gigantic-little crush on Anne?
"Kat, hate to break it to you, but we just recently became friends." Anne explained.
"Aw, biscuits!" Kitty whined, clearly not making any attempt to hide her disappointment.
But Cathy, Cathy couldn't help but feel the exact opposite of disappointed. She was ready to burst out in excitement as she giddily bit back a grin.
Anne said she was her friend. Anne wanted to be her friend! Her, Catherine Parr. The nerdy underclassmen who was only good for reading, and was an awkward mess whenever she was 3 feet away from the girl!
Cathy wore the goofiest grin, not even an embarrassing sexual remark could ruin this for her.
Anne then awkwardly coughed.
"So, Cathy... why are you still here after school?" Anne tried to break the silence.
"Well, I had to walk home today, but it was raining. So I thought I would kill sometime in the library as I wait for the rain to stop. But then I stumbled upon you guys, and here we are." Catherine chuckled nervously as she awkwardly rubbed her shoulder.
"Raining?" Anne's nose crinkled up, allowing Cathy to read her confusion.
"Yeah, you know. It was thundering and-" Catherine stopped and turned to look out the window behind. She had just now realized the rain had stopped. "Oh... wait, how long have we been here?" She asked.
"I would just say a good half-an-hour, mate. Why'd you ask?" Anne looked at her curiously.
"God, the weather here is more bipolar than me on my period."
Cathy groaned.
All three of the other girls began to laugh, thus causing Cathy to blush.
"Shit, I said that out loud, didn't I?" Catherine tucked her chin to her chest to hide the fact that her face was tinted red.
"Don't worry, you're good mate." Anne smiled at her giving her a look full of affection.
It took every inch of Catherine's being to not pull Anne into her arms and plant a kiss on her lips after seeing her expression.
But she wanted too! And Anne makes it really hard when she gives Cathy soft, adorable looks like that.
Ugh, but she refuses to do anything against Anne's will or that goes beyond her boundaries! Consent is necessary!
But god, does she wish Anne reciprocated her feelings, life would be so much more Bi and so much less panic.
"Well, I guess that means I should head home now." Catherine awkwardly stated.
She didn't want to leave, but knew her dad would freak out if she wasn't home and didn't have a good excuse for not being there.
"Oh, already?" Anne asked, hiding her disappointment well as she held back a pout.
"Yeah, sadly. But it was really nice talking to you guys, and it was a pleasure to meet you, my fellow Katherine." Cathy smiled, trying to be nice.
In all honesty, she didn't know how to feel about the girl. On one hand, Kitty is obviously closer with Anne than her in all ways, but on the other hand, Kitty thinks her and Anne would make a cute couple.
Cathy wondered what she should do in this situation.
However, Kitty seemed to have figured her feelings towards Cathy out as she beamed after hearing Catherine's statement.
"Likewise, I hope to see you again soon Catherine!" She giggled.
"It was great talking to you again Parr, especially under better circumstances than last time." Anna referenced the closet incident, thus causing Cathy to sheepishly grin at her.
"That sure was one heck of Anne incident." Anne joked.
She had managed to get a laugh out of Cathy, which made her smile. She also received a disappointed sigh from Anna. Kitty, however, gave her a lost expression.
"Wait... What happened ‘last time’?" Kitty asked.
"I'll fill you in later." Anne whispered. The answer had pleased the young girl, as Kitty didn't question it any further.
"But didn't you say you were walking home?" Cleves asked, glaring at Anne for some reason, even though the question was for Parr.
"Um, yeah, my dad is caught up in the office today and can't pick me up. It's no big deal." Catherine explained as she picked up her backpack.
Some sort of exchange must have telepathically happened between Anne and Cleves. Because the second Parr shifted her focus back onto the girls, Anne was staring at her with a toothy grin.
"C-Can I walk you home then?" She asked, holding her hands behind her back and leaning towards Catherine.
Cathy could have sworn the girl spoke a little faster than usual, and maybe she stuttered a bit at the beginning. Was her mind playing tricks on her, or was Anne Boleyn really that excited or nervous when asking the question?
Wait....
It took Cathy a few seconds for the question to sink in.
Holy shit! She just offered to walk her home!
That's it, today is the best day of her life. Period.
"Um- you don't have to do that, really. I, um, I don't live that far away from here," Catherine stuttered.
No. No. No. Why didn't she accept her offer? Ughhh!
"But that's just all the more reason why I could. Plus, I need to take a break from Cleves before I start cursing her out in front of Kitty," She explained and then turned to Anna and Kitty. "Love you both."
"Yeah, yeah, suck a dick." Cleves rolled her eyes.
"No," both Kitty and Anne said in unison, they then looked at each other and laughed.
Catherine watched the two carefully, she then saw Anne's eyes lit up when she noticed her stares, thus causing Cathy to turn away out of embarrassment.
"So...?" Anne looked at Cathy curiously.
"Are- Are you sure?" Catherine asked Anne nervously.
Oh God, please, please, please, please, please! Let her be sure about this!
"Cathy, yes. You're really fun to be around, so I'm sure that I want to walk you home... that is, if you are alright with it." Anne looked at her expectantly.
The answer had caused Cathy to once again wear a gigantic, dorky smile, which made Anne's heart flutter as her face softened. They both gave each other longing looks, unaware that the other was obviously staring at them lovingly.
Meanwhile, Cleves and Kitty gave each other knowing looks.
"Yeah, I would really enjoy that." Catherine shyly stared at the floor.
"Alright, then it's settled. Kat, you'll be hanging out with Anna for a bit. Okay?" Anne tilted her head a bit to the side.
"Yes! Of course!" Kitty excitedly yelled.
Damn, and Catherine thought she was happy about the turn of events, but Kitty took the cake. She was more ecstatic about it than both Anne and Cathy combined.
"Okay, then I'll see you guys later." Anne smiled.
"Bye, gremlin!" Anna sang.
"I. Hate. You." Anne glared at her.
"Love you too!" Cleves smiled, unfazed by the girls false statement.
Anne then rolled her eyes.
"Bye, Cleves." She said in an amused tone. She then turned to Kitty and kissed her on the cheek. "Bye Kitty, I love you."
"Bye Anne, I love you too." Kitty smiled at her, giving Anne a quick hug.
The affection stirred up some ugly, jealous feelings inside of Cathy, but it instantly washed away when Anne turned around to her and smiled.
"You ready?" Anne asked.
"Yup." Cathy made a quick statement so she couldn't screw it up.
"Then come hither, my fair lady, so I can escort thou to thy palace." Anne said in a goofy voice, pretending to speak as if Cathy was a princess. Thus, making Cathy giggle.
"Alright then, off we go." Cathy announced as her and Anne walked out the door. They then began their venture to Catherine's "palace."
"Bye Bo Bo!" Kitty shouted as she waved goodbye.
Soon after they left, Kitty began to giggle.
"Kat, what's so funny?" Cleves asked.
"Oh nothing... it's just... the way Cathy and Anne look at each other is so cute. You can see the sparks fly, like in those movies."
This caused Anna to smile.
"Yup, those two are definitely thirsty as fuck for each other's... cuddles." She confirmed, covering up her crude comment by ending it in cuddles.
"But they don't realize that they are both doing it." Kitty giggled.
"Yeah. You're right. God, those two are such bumbling idiots when it comes to the whole 'romance' thing." Cleves chuckled.
"Right?" Kitty began to laugh louder.
"Yo, we are secretly setting them up though, right?" Cleves looked at Kitty.
"Oh, we are so secretly setting them up! We need to confirm the bridesmaid and best girl spots!" Kitty grinned.
"Alright then, it's settled. What should we call this mission?" Cleves asked Kitty, acting like they were secret agents.
Kitty had to think for a few seconds, but then her eyes lit up like a kid in a candy store.
"How 'bout, operation: Parrlyn?" She suggested.
"Sounds perfect."

We’re all just mirror shards
______________________________
Hello again everyone, as you can see, I’ve been having way too much fun with the color setting, oops. Sorry not sorry.
This is the final part of my prewritten chapter 3 that hit over 8,000 (well, now it’s 9,500) words.
Anyways, I have some bad news. While I had once been updating quickly, that’s because I was on break. Sadly, my break ended and that is why I have been taking longer. Thus, I now won’t be updating as fast. However, do not fret, I shall continue to update, and my next break is in less than 2 weeks! I’m just hoping I can meet my nearly impossible goal of finishing this fanfic before 2020.
..... I never finished a fanfic before and have written over 50,000 words for them soooo..... probably not. (I do plan on finishing this one though, as I actually have the ending planned out.)
Bright side, lots of Parrlyn is to come! I have so many plans for this story!
This chapter does hint and foreshadow a lot about the series name, and Anne and someone else’s character. So I hope you find it written fine and not that it fell flat, I didn’t want the first “Anne” scene to be too emotional, just wanted to hint stuff and build up characters. If you think you figured out what the title means, guess, if you’re right I’ll even give you a shoutout!
Like always, if you have any suggestions, advice, or questions about the story, please reply or ask me. I’m always open to reading them. I’m also fine with clarifying things or talking about the story. :3
Word count: over 3,306 words baby!
Warnings: mentions of slut shaming, self-loathing, and toxic relationships. Lots of swearing, sexual comments, and complete and utter useless gayness. Also, since it’s so long, there might still be some mistakes. (You have been warned.)
Enjoy~

Part 6
First Break
————————————————
"No, it's alright Cathy." Anne sighed, she then looked up at both of them. “You deserve to know the truth.”
The statement had caused Catherine to swallow some of her nerves. She couldn’t help but be afraid of what had caused the ever-so confident Anne Boleyn to have her sangfroid completely diminished.
Anne then looked around nervously, trying to avoid making eye contact. In the end, however, she did look at both of them. She had a frown spread across her face and her eyes looked like they were tearing up. "It's just- you see- I- um… shit.” Anne had to take a few deep breaths and collect herself before continuing. “Cathy, the last time those guys had found me with someone, it turned out really bad..."
Cleves gasped at hearing this.
"Wait a fucking second, were they the ones who had— oh my god. Oh my fucking Lordy, lord, lord. Fuck me sideways on a taco box, what type of bat shit twisted logic does those fuckers have to have the hella dumbass idea to fuckin- Agh!" Cleves screamed.
Catherine was confused about what was going on. Like, really confused.
Anne saw this confusion and sighed. She had to explain to her, she deserved to know the truth as to why they were stuck in here.
"Cathy, last year a group of guys ganged up and had hurt someone I really cared about, badly." Anne sniffled a bit, shaking just at the thought. "It was because they were close to me, and- and- those twisted bastards thought they had the prerogative to touch her, so they did! And—" Anne began to cover her mouth, hoping it would prevent her sobs from being heard.
After a few seconds, she finally managed to say it.
"Cathy, she could have died." Anne was biting her lip and her hands were now covering her eyes, she just felt god awful thinking about the subject. Yet, all she could do was try to conceal her pain.
It was now quiet, all that could be heard was Anne’s sobs and heavy breathing. None of the girls dared to move.
Catherine didn't know what was going on.
Cleves didn't know what was going on.
Heck, even Anne herself didn't know what was going on anymore.
All they knew was that the jokes and laughter had disappeared from the room, and it was replaced by a heavy feeling of apathy and guilt.
It hurt Cathy. It really did.
Seeing Anne like this: holding back sobs, her lip quivering, and her body shaking in fear. It all made Catherine’s heartbreak into a million little pieces.
She never realized Anne could be like this, so broken and hurt. She’s usually smiling and is striding with confidence.
But now?
Anne Boleyn was shattered.
It was as if the girl was wearing a mask, and with all the pressure from the day, it has finally been pulled off from her. Thus leaving behind the wearer, afraid and all alone.
Anne was afraid and alone.
It puzzled Cathy, who was the real Anne Boleyn?
The more she thought she was closer to finding an answer, the farther away she realizes she actually is from the girl.
However, the more she realized this, the more her desire to see Anne grew. Catherine didn’t care if she was broken. She wanted to believe Anne was resilient. She wanted to help her get back on her feet. She wanted to let Anne know that she could rely on her.
She wanted to be someone to Anne.
So what did Catherine do?
Only what she could out of propensity. No second thoughts. Not even a first thought.
She just walked up to Anne and pulled her into a hug, quietly shushing her and whispering, "it's okay," into the girls ear. The soothing action and soft affection Anne received made her open up even more.
"They hurt her. They hurt her and got away with it!" Anne sobbed as she tightened her grip around Catherine's waist. She had to steady herself onto Catherine as her body was shaking and she was heavily breathing.
Catherine didn't mind that Anne was sobbing on her shoulder, or how she was clinging onto her shirt for dear life. She just wanted to help her. She knew Anne was so beautiful when she was happy. When she was genuinely happy, not holding up some mask and saying she was fine. Anne was beautiful as herself. So Cathy decided then and there that she never wanted to make Anne sad ever again, and she will do anything she can to comfort the girl. It might cause a bit of trouble, and it will cause her to gain attention from others. However, Anne was worth it.
After about 10 long, agonizing minutes, and with a few deep breaths, Anne was finally able to calm down as she backed away from Catherine.
"I'm sorry guys, I don't know what's wrong with me..." she chuckled bitterly, tears still stained her cheeks.
"Anne, boo. You don't need to apologize for anything." Cleves reassured her as she wrapped an arm around Anne's shoulder.
"Thanks..." Anne mumbled. She then looked up at Catherine, but then down at the floor again. She repeated this action a few times until she finally worked up the nerve to spit out what she was thinking. "I- I was scared.... scared they were going to do the same thing.... to you..." Anne stuttered as she wiped away the last few tears that slipped out of her eyes.
She then looked up at Catherine with unsure eyes as she bit her lip and messed with her shoes.
Catherine honestly didn't know how to react, which seems to be intrinsic when it involves Anne. It’s like she has control over Cathy’s mind. Like, a lot of control.
But how should she react, the Anne Boleyn had done this all for her.
No.
She has to stop thinking like that. She can't just put Anne on some pedestal like the others. If there was anything this day has proven, it's that Anne Boleyn is a human. She was not some super sexy god-like angel to drool over, she was just Anne. And she was spectacular nonetheless for just being herself.
Heck! The real Anne was willing to get into a situation like this because she was trying to be considerate for Catherine.
She was willing to take the teasing from Cleves! The nearly not having lunch! The being stuck with a nerd for about an hour in a closet! All of this, just so she could protect Cathy.
Anne Boleyn was a considerate, honest, playful, and intelligent young woman. She was amazing in so many ways, and she was so much more than just a pretty face.
Yet she is denied recognition for all of these amazing things, and is instead simplified down to some slut by society.
Cathy would have gave up on the world, but Anne didn’t. Anne persevered. Not only that, but she thrived in the world that had wronged her. Anne was incredible.
And here she was, that very same incredible girl, willing to suffer just for Cathy’s sake. Someone she has just recently met!
Catherine, honest to god, felt like she was going to cry from how moved she was by this turn of events.
"Anne—"
"I know, I know. I'm being stupid and dramatic, I'm sorry." Anne apologized.
This caused both Anna and Cathy to blink a few times, not fully comprehending what she just did.
However, when they did, they didn't take it well.
"OH, YOU’VE GOT TO BE FUCKING WITH ME!"
Surprisingly, it was Cathy who shouted this as she caught both Anne and Anna off guard.
"I-I'm sorry—" Anne tried to apologize, but she was interrupted by Cathy.
"For what? Being a beautiful and considerate person? Why in hell's name would you apologize? That was so damn nice of you! I was nearly moved to tears by what you did! So I don't know who made you this scared or think you have to be sorry for being a good person, but I'm going to fucking throw a chair at them! I don’t know how, but I’m going to hunt them down and do it because they made you apologize for being yourself! And you are so fucking beautiful as yourself! So yeah! Fuck them!" Catherine snapped.
"I like her." Cleves grinned at Cathy while Anne just stared at her in disbelief.
"And another thing, Anne! You are so nice that I don't even know how to respond. You have not done anything wrong, like, at all! It was all those S.O.B.s, so please! Don't apologize. You shouldn't beat yourself up over something you didn't do. And..." Catherine finally paused, looking at Anne with a small blush. "Smile. Please, you are so pretty when you’re happy." She finally ended her rant as she awkwardly rubbed her shoulder.
Shit.
Why did she say all of that? Now Anne was probably going to think she was crazy for overreacting when this is only their second time seeing each other.
Ugh, she can’t help it, not when it’s Anne.
Fuck, she really is a disastrous Bi.
Wait.... she's Bi for Anne.....
Oh, fuck! She's Bi for Anne! Like, really Bi for Anne.
Catherine began to blush madly in front of the other girls who were still in a state of shock from Catherine's outburst. However, unbeknownst to the other two, Anne’s lips twitched upwards after hearing that from Cathy.
She really was different, and Anne was happy she could see that.
"S-Sorry, I didn't mean to overreact." Cathy apologized, thus causing the other two to frown.
“Now hold on—” Cleves started, but was interrupted.
"BULLSHIT!" Anne screamed. "You can't apologize for being nice! That is both unfair and hypocritical! I refuse to stand for this unjust hypocrisy!" Anne pointed at Catherine.
"What?" Cathy asked in shock.
‘Okay, what the hell is going on at this point?’ Catherine thought to herself.
That's when Cleves burst out laughing; thus, she received confused looks from Anne and Catherine.
"I'm sorry, I'm really sorry, it's just—" she looked at them and began wheezing.
"What is it mate?" Anne asked, her cute accent showing. This caused Cathy’s breath to hitch.
‘Fuck. Fuck. Fuck. She’s too cute.’ Cathy thought.
"You two are such big gay disasters that you're perfect for each other!" Cleves continued her hysterical laughter.
The comment caused both Anne and Cathy to stare at each other. They then bashfully look away with a blush emerging their cheeks.
"Oh, pipe down Anna." Anne glared at her.
"You pipe down Boleyn, you know I'm not wrong. I'm just calling it like I see it!" Cleves shot back at her.
“Bitch.”
“Gremlin.”
"Oh god, we've been going through this nonstop. Are you two always like this with each other?" Catherine asked.
Anne and Cleves looked at each other, nodded, and then looked at Catherine with straight faces.
"Yes."
"All the time."
"How have you guys not killed one another yet?" She questioned.
They both shrugged.
"I don't know, we're just chill with each other." Anne answered honestly.
"Yup, might be shocking, but I love this little gremlin." Anna teased, thus causing Anne to roll her eyes.
Catherine stared at them amused.
"Well, you two are certainly two-of-a-kind." Catherine chuckled.
"We know." They both answered in unison.
The three then burst out laughing together.
"Alright, now that things have cleared up, I must be the one to bring up how lunch is over in, like, twelve minutes. So, Anne, we should really be heading out about now." Cleves informed the two.
"Already, but why? Can't we just stay here?" Anne whined.
"I need to sneak this key back into the front office before they realized I took it." Cleves explained.
"Well, fuck." Anne looked down and snapped her fingers.
"Yeah, you won't believe how much of a pain in the ass it is to sneak something past them." Cleves rolled her eyes, she then turned to Catherine. "It was nice to meet you Catherine, hope you didn't lose too many brain cells being trapped in a closet with this dumbass."
"Hey!" Anne playfully elbowed Cleves.
"Alright, alright, I'll cut it out with the jokes," Cleves said.
"Good." Anne grinned in victory, as if getting Anna to shut up was a meritorious accomplishment.
Then again, those two did bicker a lot.
"But seriously, we need to go." Cleves told her.
Anne began to pout like a child, making Catherine giggle.
She was so cute.
"Alright.... bye Cathy." She waved at Catherine and headed out the door.
Cleves then gave her a side hug while wearing a huge smile.
"See you later Parr!" Cleves called out as she followed Anne.
"Bye guys!" She waved at them.
Now Catherine was left alone in the closet. Fuck. Now she can't stop thinking about gay jokes!
She was honestly kind of sad for lunch to end, as weird as it sounds, she really enjoyed being stuck in that closet.
Catherine really thinks she got to see Anne today as herself.
The thought of her smile just made Catherine all bubbly and warm inside.
Catherine then picked up her papers and sighed.
Guess she should probably turn these in before lunch ends.
And with that, Cathy finally left the closet.
She began to once again walk towards the newspaper room, but then she heard footsteps.
Someone was running towards her.
"Cathy, Wait up!" Anne screamed, running back to the girl.
Catherine turned around in shock.
"Anne?!" She managed to question before the girl basically tackled her.
Catherine then felt Anne’s arms slither around her waist as she pulled her into a hug.
"Thanks again," She whispered into Catherine's ear before letting go. She bit her lip, trying to hold back a grin after seeing Cathy's shocked expression. "I just had to say that again."
The gesture was small and quick, but it spread warmth all throughout Catherine's body.
"See you later, Cathy Parr!" Anne yelled with a grin as she ran off to follow her friend.
Catherine couldn't help but to stand there for a bit. Her heart was rapidly beating, her face was slightly flushed— scratch that, completely flushed, and her legs felt like jelly.
This was the effect Anne Boleyn had on her. And that's when Catherine realized something.
Oh god, oh fuck.
This wasn't a book comparison anymore.
Catherine was falling for Anne Boleyn.
Hard.
"Fuck me," she muttered.
Catherine— no, Cathy's little Bi heart just couldn't take it anymore.
That's when Catherine's ringtone, kids again, began to play.
"Hello?" She answered it.
"Oh my god, Parr! Are you ok?!" A familiar voice cried.
"Jane?" Catherine asked in shock.
"We just got your text, love. Which closet are you in?" She asked in a worried tone.
Oh, right. Catherine kind of had forgotten that she had texted them that she was trapped in a closet.
Welp, time for some good ol' fashioned damage control.
"Jane, I'm fine now, really. I'm just going to the newspaper room—"
"Aragon! We are going to the newspaper room!" Jane yelled while still holding the phone.
"Wait, no, I—" Catherine said as she was about to explain what had happened.
Click.
Jane had hung up on Catherine.
Well, fuck.
💙💚.......Meanwhile.......💚💙
"So......" Anna started up a few minutes later after Anne had caught up to her. Now they were walking towards the office.
"So?" Anne mimicked, eyeing her suspiciously.
"Are you going to ask her out?" Cleves finally asked.
"Anna!"
"What? Bo, she's cute. So if you don't, I will!" Anna threatened.
"Shut up! Let's just drop any subject of Cathy. Okay?" Anne suggested in an uncomfortable tone.
"Ugh… Fine."
"Thank you." Anne mumbled, letting out a breath of relief.
But the relief disappeared after a few seconds.
"You call her Cathy, eh?" Cleves teased.
Anne groaned as she covered her face to hide her blush.
"You know, my love life is not the most orthodox thing for us to discuss." Anne glared at Cleves, visibly not even okay with the subject herself.
"Nonsense! It's a perfectly normal subject to talk about. Besides, now seems like a great time to discuss the matter." Cleves informed her.
"Oh, you mean with you nearly outing me in front of Cathy?" Anne glared at her, thus causing Cleves to give her a sheepish look.
"Yeah, sorry about that mate. But hey! At least I covered it up pretty damn well!" Cleves defended herself, which only caused Anne to roll her eyes.
"You're lucky she already realized you are insane, otherwise she wouldn't have believed your lameass excuse. Like, a gremlin, seriously?”
"Please, with your stand-offish demeanor? Anne, sweetie, it'll take more than a joking comment to drag you out of the closet when you are oh-so-desperately clinging onto the door for dear life," Cleves jokes.
Anne then glared at her.
"Yeah, well, it's not like it's the most expected thing for me to be. And not everyone is as accepting," Anne said with a less-than-confident huff.
"So what if you're a repressed useless lesbian? Pish-posh." Anna said trying to lighten up the mood, all while she waves her hand as if it was no big deal.
"Anna, I love you, but I swear to god if you don't keep it down and shut your mouth." She glared at her, only to see Anna's knowing smirk.
"21st century, my little gayby, you don't have to worry about talking about it in an empty hallway with a friend you are already out to." She said in a know-it-all tone.
Anne rolled her eyes and crossed her arms, letting out an annoyed huff. Cleves then sighed.
"Look, Bo. I know you won't believe me, but you two were totally hitting on each other in there." Anna told her honestly.
"She was just being nice! Like, as in friends!"
"That's a fucking heteronormative excuse and you know it!" Anna shot at her.
Anne looked away from her, pouting like a child, thus causing Cleves to sigh.
"Bo, I know you and I joke around a lot, but for once, please. Just take me seriously. I only want to see you happy." Cleves admitted as she awkwardly rubbed the back of her neck.
"I'm happy enough." Anne lies through her teeth, putting up the mask she shows others.
But it doesn't work on Cleves, they both know she can tell whether Anne is sincere or not.
"You shouldn't have to be 'happy enough', Bo." Anna pinched the bridge of her nose. "Look, I'm not asking you to go and take that girl back into the closet and bang her silly till she melts into a pile of goo under your touch and can only moan your name." She tried to reason with Anne.
"Should I be concerned by how specific and sexual that was?" Anne questioned her.
"Anne, we've been friends for how long exactly?" Cleves arched an eyebrow.
"Fair point, okay, you may continue."
"Bo, just promise me you'll at least try to get to know her, she seems really nice." Anna smiled, and then muttered under her breath, "and she is obviously into you."
"What was that?" Anne asked, not hearing the last statement.
"Oh, nothing. Just... try to move on from the past. You know Kitty would hate it if she found out you refuse to do things because you feel guilty about what had happened to her." Cleves hated using the Kitty card, but Anne would never take care of herself if she didn't.
Anne sighed at this, giving into her request.
"Alright, fine. I'll converse with her and... explore my feels." Anne agreed. She then made a goofy face to illustrate how strange the idea was to her.
"That's all I ask." Anna grinned.
Silence then fell again upon the girls.
"So, how did you get the keys." Anne asked.
"I threw a brick at their window as a distraction."
"Anna... I love and appreciate you, but what the actual flippity flappity holy grapes on heelys type of hell drug did you snort to get that fucktacular amount of dumbassery to think of that shitty idea?" Anne asked in what she called, Cleves-language.
Which in reality, is just swearing a lot in the most idiotic way.
"Broccoli." Anna replied casually, carrying through with the joke.
Oh, how Anne was relieved to be back to their normal jokes.
"Alright, seems legit to me." She shrugged.
The two then burst out laughing as they went to sneak back the key.

We’re all just mirror shards
—————————————————
Hello, everyone. I’m super excited to post the second part. Sadly, I was sick all week (still am) when I was writing this, so my brain may have not noticed some mistakes. I did my best to catch all the ones I could find. Thank you to everyone who has been contacting me with kind messages, I really wasn’t expecting any positive feedback. And thank you to @sixfanarts for the drawing you sent me. It really made my day! Just thought I should let everyone know that there will be multiple parts, like a lot, 8 should be the minimum. I also have a new tag to represent the series, WAJMS, in case anyone wants to find previous chapters. And that about does it, hope you all enjoy the chapter!
Word count: about 3560. Apparently, I ended up having the maximum amount of length/blocks, oops—
Warnings (again, I’m fairly new to posting things on tumblr, if there are any warnings I should add, please let me know.): cursing, guys being dicks because they pervs, self-doubt, and Cathy being a Bi disater (though, I think we all enjoy this one. ;D)

Part 2
Nice going, sweetheart
________________________
Catherine didn't know what to expect entering the class.
Staring at what seemed to be a fallen angel the whole class period, however, was not something that crossed her mind.
So when the bell rang, she jumped in her seat out of complete and utter shock.
This caught the others' attention, causing them to stare at her bewildered. Anne, however, seemed to know exactly what had happened, as she had worn a large and, what Catherine hoped was, playfully knowing grin.
When they made eye contact, Catherine mouth clammed up, and she then anxiously turned away trying to swallow down her nerves.
Shit.
"Looks like someone was caught staring."
Catherine looked up at her peer, and hopefully future friend, Jane Seymour, who was for some reason whispering to Catherine. She bit her bottom lip and shook her head.
"It's alright love. Just try not to drool much," she teased her.
Catherine immediately wipes her mouth, not to find any drool, but only a giggle from the girl next to her.
"Oh hush you." Catherine glared at her out of embarrassment.
"I was joking love, but don't let Aragon catch you doing that. Her and Boleyn kind of... have a history." She gestured to the short girl talking to the teacher.
"Bad, I assume?"
Jane just nodded; she then got up and grabbed both of her and Aragon's stuff.
"We're going to head out now, you're more than welcome to join us if you'd like Parr," Aragon offered once she got back.
Catherine looked up at them in shock.
"W-would that— would that really be alright?"
The two looked at her and laughed.
Catherine looked down embarrassed, she once again twiddled her thumbs in her hoodie pocket.
She then felt a small amount of added pressure on her shoulder, she looked up to see Aragon who had a comforting smile placed across her face.
"Of course, Parr. You'll always be welcomed at our table."
With that, Catherine was beaming.
"Al-alright, I'll catch up with you then." She grinned.
Her new found friends giggled, as they left the classroom with the teacher to head to lunch. The other students stayed back a bit as they were still talking. Catherine soon began to rush to put her stuff away with excitement. Really, she was just shoving everything into her bag.
This haste caused her elbow to hit her binder, which lead to it falling to the ground and a large number of paper scattered across the floor.
Her peers laughed at her and headed out the door, not a single one tried to help her out.
She bent down and began to pick them up.
"Well, fuck me like a French girl." She muttered under her breath, a blush tinting her cheeks out of embarrassment.
She sighed. At least things couldn't get worse.
"As an actual girl with French origins, I don't know how to react to that," an angelic voice said.
Catherine looked up to see the one, and only, Anne Boleyn.
Well, fuck.
Catherine's mouth hung agape, but it went lower when the girl bent down to help her out.
"Um, you- you really don't have to do that," she stuttered. Catherine cursed herself out in her head for her awkwardness.
"It's alright, mate. I don't mind." Anne smiled as she handed Catherine the papers.
Catherine gave her a small smile back, but it fell once she saw the girl staring at her amusingly.
"W-what? Do I have something on my face?" Catherine asked.
Anne snickered, then looked at her with a familiar gleam of mischief in her eyes.
"No, that's just what it is like to be stared at by a pretty girl." She joked with a playful wink.
Catherine immediately felt her heart beat out of her throat, as she nervously pulled her hoodie down with one hand.
One word kept on running through her mind.
Pretty.
Does Anne Boleyn really think she’s pretty? Or was she just referring to herself.
The question boggled Catherine’s mind, but she couldn’t further explore it as she was in front of the girl.
"I- um-... well you see- I was-....." Catherine stared at Anne, who just stared back at her. She then sighed. "I got nothing."
Anne smiled at her.
"And here I thought you would have an answer to everything," she teased.
"Because I'm a nerd?" Catherine rolled her eyes, bracing herself for the teasing.
Shockingly, that wasn't what she received.
"No." she looked at Catherine and smiled. "Because you work hard. How else would you be able to get into this class."
Catherine perked up at that statement, she then stared at Anne curiously.
"Really?" She asked in shock.
Anne rolled her eyes with a playful grin.
"Noooo, it's because you are secretly a robot and you hacked into the school system to enter this class," she said sarcastically as she crossed her arms and stared at Catherine.
Catherine couldn't help but giggle.
"That definitely explains my awful sleep schedule." Catherine joked.
Anne began to laugh a laugh that made Catherine’s heart skip a beat.
Catherine gulped as she then chewed a bit of the inside of her mouth.
'Her laugh is cute too. God, why is she so cute?'
She tried to shake the thought out of her head.
"You know what else it explains?" Anne asked her.
Catherine shook her head no in reply, which then caused the girl to grin.
"You 'Anne-alzing' me for the whole class." She laughed.
Catherine blushed madly as she groaned.
This, this must be a mistake. There is no way the Queen Bee of the school just made a pun.
She looked at Anne and saw a gleam of both pride and mischief in her eyes.
Welp, that's it. Reality is a lie.
"Ugh, you make shitty puns. Like, really shitty puns," Catherine whined.
Anne rolled her eyes.
"Please, everyone loves them." She shot back, sticking out her tongue playfully.
Catherine laughed at the comment and the girls reaction.
It made her feel all giddy just looking at the girl. Catherine just met her and could already tell, Anne Boleyn was quite the character.
"You sure they don't just love you?" She asked.
The comment slipped out way too naturally, something that made the small pause of silence a bit agonizing for Catherine.
"Well... that too." She chuckled.
Catherine joined her, unconsciously relaxing around the girl.
"Well it's about time I head off, nerd." Anne grinned.
Catherine heard the name-calling many times before, but when Anne said it, it was playful... and in some ways, it was kind of endearing.
It caused Catherine to smile as she rolled her eyes at the girl.
"Bye, Anne."
"Bye Miss Gold Star Parr."
With that, Anne ran off. She had left behind Catherine Parr, who had the goofiest grin on her face, and a noticeable red coloring across her cheeks.
She then head off to find Jane and Aragon at lunch.
When she finally spotted them and sat down, they looked at her.
"What's got you in such a good mood, Parr?"
Catherine just smiled at her binder as she played with her hoodie strings.
"Oh, nothing." She smiled ear-to-ear.
And with that, Parr continued to bask in this fuzzy, warm feeling she had for the rest of the lunch period.
💚💙.......Time Skip......💙💚
It has now been a little bit over a week since Catherine switched into the class.
A long time that felt stretched out since nothing had happened.
Well, she has grown close enough with Aragon and Jane to have exchanged phone numbers, something she had always wanted to do with someone IRL.
Yet, she hasn't had any run-ins with Anne, not since the first day.
It's just been staring across the room, acknowledging her smarts when she is able to answer questions, admiring her beauty, and smiling every time she sticks out her tongue to the side, concentrated as she tries to figure out the right word for her sentence.
God, she was the cutest thing in Catherine's eyes.
However, she also was a mystery to the girl.
The rumors, her actions, her own goals.
All of it confused Catherine.
She was just dying to turn the page to get the backstory on Anne's life, yet the author hasn't written it for her yet. She just wanted to see the full picture. All of the girl. The real Anne.
Yet her being the Queen Bee of the school, made that nearly impossible.
Catherine sighed when the teacher informed them that the bell would ring in a few minutes, allowing them to talk for the rest of class.
She had wasted the whole class lost in thought about the Boleyn girl.
Again.
This sigh had caught the attention of her two new friends who then sent worried glances towards the girl.
"Everything alright Parr?" Jane asked worried.
"You seem a bit... distracted lately."Aragon leaned over to look at her. "If something is bothering, we can help you out. Even if you just need an ear to listen."
Catherine smiled at her and shook her head.
"Thanks but it's unnecessary, I was... just thinking about this poem I recently read." Catherine nervously played with her curls.
"Really?" Aragon eyed her, not believing her excuse.
"Yeah, it was- Uh, really deep? Heh heh..." she nervously chuckled.
Aragon continued to glare at her, but then sighed.
"If you say so," she huffed.
Catherine sighed in relief.
"Anyways, Parr, are you excited that break is coming up?" Jane's eyes filled with joy.
Catherine looked at her confused for a second.
"Isn't that, like, about a month away?" She asked confused.
"Five weeks, to be exact."
Jane giggled as Aragon rolled her eyes.
"Jane here is in nearly every single volunteering club, so she participates in a lot of events," Aragon explained, a knowing smile was across her lips.
"The most exciting being the winter festival, grams, dance, and gathering!" Jane squealed.
Catherine shot the two a confused look.
"Gathering?"
"Really, it's just a party, but we call it a gathering so we can use school funds." Aragon once again explained.
"It's going to be a blast! Are your clubs doing anything?" Jane asked nicely.
Catherine gulped at the question.
"Well, you see— I'm not in a club." Catherine looked down at her shoes, too embarrassed to make eye contact.
'Yup, I'm the loser who can't socialize,' she thought.
Jane had gasped in shock, probably at her own mistake. Aragon, however, didn't seem to care.
"Okay, then you can just help the student council with the gathering. We could always use the extra set of hands."
Catherine smiled at her.
"Yeah, that sounds like fun. But I'm actually hoping I will be in a club soon." Catherine bashfully confessed.
"Really, which one?" Jane asked, the excitement bursting out of her.
"The newspaper."
"Oh my goodness, you would be great at that Parr!" Jane squealed.
Catherine blushed at the compliment, nervously chuckling as doubt sunk into her.
"I don't know, I mean... all I can do is try out by submitting my writing to them today. But it's unlikely I'll get in." She sighed.
"Not with that attitude you won't," Aragon said.
"Have faith in yourself Parr, you are a great writer!" Jane exclaimed.
Catherine smiled at the two.
"Thanks you guys, but that means I'm going to be late to lunch today since I'll be turning in my papers." Catherine explained.
"Oh. Do you want us to wait for you, love?" Jane asked.
Catherine shook her head, but smiled appreciatively.
"Thanks, but it's alright. I have no clue when I should be getting out," Catherine explained. "So you two should just go on without me."
"If you say so." Aragon shrugged.
The bell then rang, Jane and Aragon bid Catherine goodbye as they head out the door.
Catherine smiled as she watched them go out, she was glad to have found friends at this new school. And not people who just say that they're friends, but ones who actually enjoy her company.
Real friends.
It won't be like last semester, she'll make sure of it.
She began to glance over her writing examples, and with a heavy sigh, she got up and dashed out of the classroom.
All she had to do was turn it in, right. She didn't have to see them react to it, so she could enjoy lunch after turning it in. Or at least, she could try to enjoy lunch.
Making a quick stop at her locker, Catherine exchanges her backpack for a lunch box. A bit childish, yes, but the food the school served both was overpriced and tasted terrible.
After grabbing her lunch, she gently checked to make sure she had all her papers for her example still in her hand. After the confirmation, she closed her locker and zipped down the halls.
The adrenaline was rushing through Catherine's body, nerves building up as they prepare to swallow her hole.
Room 4-208B.
She just had to get there and turn them in, then it'll be over for the day.
She was nearing her destination, but when she turned the corner she accidentally ran into someone.
This caused Catherine to fall to the ground, thus she had let go of her papers that were scattered all across the floor.
Great. Just splendid. What was with her luck and papers?
"Sorry," she muttered as she rubbed her head, wincing in pain.
There will definitely be a bruise there tomorrow.
She began to pick up her papers when a hand brushed against hers; they were, too, trying to help pick up her papers.
Catherine looked up, only to make eye contact with the all-to-familiar green orbs.
Her heart began to race when she realized who it was.
"It's alright." Anne shrugged, she then offered Catherine a hand. "You okay, you seemed.... a bit in a rush." She chuckled as she bit her bottom lip.
Catherine could feel the nerves eating out her stomach as she appreciatively takes Anne's hand.
"Um... Yeah, I'm alright..." Catherine looked at a poster, trying her best to avoid eye contact.
"Might want to be careful where you are running, mate. Your lucky it was me who you ran into." Anne sighed.
"Right, sorry." Catherine replied in a brief awkwardness.
Anne looked at her curiously, but then sighed again as she began to help pick up the rest of the papers.
"Why is it that whenever we talk, you are picking up my papers?" Catherine said in a joking tone as she joined Anne, but she actually did want to know.
Why was Anne helping her out?
"Well either you are a total klutz.... or I take pick-ups to a whole new level." She chuckled.
Catherine just gave her a blank expression.
"You know, as in, like, pick-up lines?" Anne tried to explain.
"I got it Anne, I just... why?"
Anne just smiled sheepishly as Catherine rolled her eyes, but she couldn't stop the smile from spreading across her face.
It was like the universe had seen and granted her wish, as the greatest mystery to recently be on her mind was right before her very own eyes.
Anne Boleyn.
She had the grace of a Queen Bee, as to be expected, but the kindness of someone with a big heart.
Was she the slutty Queen Bee everyone claimed she was, or was she just a beautiful, kind, literature fan who hides herself out of peer pressure.
God, does Catherine hope it's the latter.
But she doesn't know, nor does she know if she’ll ever find out the truth. Anne was a mystery, after all.
A gorgeous, smart, and complex mystery that confused Catherine.
And it drove her wild.
Anne then looked up at her, handing her some of the papers she gathered. She wore a gentle smile that made Catherine melt a little bit on the inside.
She then went back down to pick up the last of the papers. The kind gesture just confused Catherine more and more, but that didn't stop her from helping Anne with the dorkiest smile spread across her face.
It was a sweet moment.
That was, until an unexpected voice blared throughout the hallway.
"Hey man, did you see that girl at lunch?”
Catherine and Anne's eyes widened at the sound of a voice.
"You mean that slut? Yeah man, she wore a skirt that showed off her legs, and damnnnn. Think I could get seconds?"
Catherine cringed at the idiocy of the boys as she quickly grabbed the last paper and got up.
"With a slut like her? Yeah man."
When Catherine looked at Anne, she saw the panic in her eyes. But before she could say anything, Anne grabbed her wrist and ran.
"Sweet man. What about you?"
Confused and still not comprehending what was happening, Catherine allowed Anne to pull her into the custodians closet as she had nearly closed the door behind them.
"Naw bro, I'm more interested in that Boleyn girl."
Catherine finally snapped out of her trance when she heard Anne's name. She looked around and began to panic. Anne had tried to calm her down, but she ended up tripping over some supplies she didn't see.
"Oh yeah dude. That girl is hot!"
Catherine, out of instinct, jumped to catch Anne. She managed to hold the girl by the waist with one arm; however, she nearly fell down with her. Thankfully, she had caught the door handle to keep them balanced. Thus, she had closed the door completely.
"I know man, right? Now if only she was here like our source had said."
Anne gasped in the darkness, worrying Catherine. And out of some strange, adrenaline-type bravery, Catherine began to trace soothing circles along the girls back and quietly shush her, hoping it would help Anne relax. Thankfully, it did.
Anne doesn't know why, but she found herself loving the soft touch from this kind gesture. She loved the way Catherine’s hands gently traveled her skin. How the girl quietly shushed her near her ear. Catherine’s hot breath hitting her skin. The warmth Catherine gave her while they were pressed up against one another. The way their skin came into contact, sending chills throughout her body, making her ache for more of Catherine’s touch. The way-
'Fuck.' Anne thought in realization of what she was doing.
Amazingly enough, Catherine had managed to calm Anne down right before the guys walked past them, completely unaware of the fact that they were in the closet.
"Ughhhhh, I know, right? We even went out of our way to follow her here. Bummer, man."
Now it was Catherine’s turn to gasp.
She felt Anne begin to shiver in her arms so she tightened her grip around the girls waist. Her free hand left Anne’s shoulder and also went down to her waist. Catherine hoped to bring a sense of safety to the girl.
And boy, did Anne feel protected in Catherine’s arms.
Thank goodness the only thing Catherine heard after that was footsteps... well that and Anne breathing against her neck.
Which Anne’s hot breath on the nape of her neck may or may not have excited Catherine.
The two girls soon came to the same conclusion: those two pricks must have left. Hopefully.
After a few seconds, and some awkward shifting around that lead to Catherine admiring how Anne smelt like rosemary, the two were able to separate.
"Uh... Those guys we're both dumbasses and perverts." Catherine said, being the first to break the silence.
"I know, that's why I hid from them." Anne replied in an exhausted tone. "The halls should be safe now, so let's just go."
Catherine flinched at Anne's reply, worry spreading throughout her body. However, she had no good reason to complain. She wasn't close to the girl, so she shouldn't push her to open up about what happened. All she could do was silently oblige to return the girl’s kindness.
So with a sigh, she placed her hand on the handle and went to swing the door open.
The only problem?
It didn't open. Not even by a small budge.
Catherine tried again and again, she tried so much that she got to the point were she just viciously shook the handle.
With a sigh eliciting defeat, she turned around and gave Anne a sheepish smile.
"Catherine." Anne stared at her.
However, it wasn't like her normal stares. There was no dazzling mischief or curiosity that shines through her eyes.
No. This stare was just cold and serious. A side she had not seen from, nor heard about, Anne before.
It sent shivers down Catherine's spine.
"What's sup?" She gulped nervously.
"You closed the door, didn't you?"
Fuck.
Was she not suppose to?
"Maybe?" She answered hesitantly, eyes shut tight for a moment out of fear of what look the girl would give her.
Anne just let out a loud groan as Catherine nervously played with her curls with one hand, the other shoved in her hoodie pocket.
"Nice going, sweetheart. Now we're trapped in this closet." Anne finally replied.
Catherine's eyes widened, both at the sudden revelation, and Anne's annoyed tone.
She watched as the girl sat down.
"Get comfy, we'll be stuck in here until someone comes to get us." Anne sighed.
Catherine quickly sat down, yet she didn't take her eyes off the Boleyn girl.
Anne stared right back at her.
"What?" She asked, causing Catherine to quickly look away.
"Oh, nothing." Catherine hummed, but she then saw her papers and remembered what she was supposed to be doing. After a disappointed sigh, she continued, "It's just... This, this is going to be a long lunch."

We’re all just mirror shards
______________________________
Hey everyone, No One here again and I’m back at it with another chapter. This was once again had to be separated. So it’s either part 7, part 1 of chapter 7, or part 4 part 1. Thankfully, everything is written and I really like the ending of this chapter, so I’m excited to see what you guys think!
Also, I’m officially started my break today, so woo! More time for writing!
Word count: about 2,685 words. :3
Warnings: cursing, sex jokes, Cathy is a Bi disaster.
Enjoy~
————————————————
Part 7,
Huh, so that’s jealousy
————————————————
Catherine walked out of her last class nervously, about 15 minutes after the bell rang.
It's been two days since Cathy realized she was starting to crush on Anne.
Two days of awkward waves in the halls when no one was looking.
48 hours of flinching every time Miss Terris called "Miss Boleyn."
2,880 minutes of walking the opposite direction just to avoid bumping into Anne in the halls.
172,800 seconds of her heart racing and mind stuck on one thing.
Anne.
It was driving Catherine insane.
After the closet incident, she didn't know how to approach the Boleyn girl. After all, what could she say?
"Hi, I'm very Bi and think you're smoking hot, but I also like your personality so please consider acknowledging my existence romantically and possibly chatting with me every now and then."
Yeah, that would go over really well. Hence, the sarcasm.
Catherine rolled her eyes as she reached her locker. She opened it up and shoved some books in. She then saw her English book and groaned.
English is related to Anne.
Why is everything fucking related to Anne?!
She legit saw a murder mystery show yesterday and couldn't help but think of the girl and how she would make a pun, like "talk about killer looks."
Why does her mind do this to her?
Was she already that deep into a crush? Or is the mystery of Anne Boleyn so interesting that it is basically consuming Catherine's life?
Cathy wanted to know desperately. She needed to so that she could get her thought process back on track.
But how could she when Anne was so beautifully distracting that it was intoxicating? Her complexity added a level of mystery, which contrasted with the confidence that was highlighted from her bold choice of red lipstick.
Oh god, her lips, they looked like heaven turned up as she gave the softest expression to Cathy whenever she giggled. Her smile was absolutely warm enough to go back in time and prevent the Ice Age from ever happening.
Yet, her lips were also purgatory with Anne's many other expressions that caused Cathy's gaze to linger onto the Boleyn girl for a few seconds too long. The unauthentic smile she plastered across her face when she was with her 'friends' never seemed to fail to make Catherine cringe. However, it has also lead to Cathy pondering how much there truly was left to Anne that she doesn't know about.
Judging by the looks of it, it's a lot.
And then, oh god, the hell that elicits from the girls pout and teary eyes. It was absolutely heartbreaking for Catherine, seeing Anne so broken in the closet. She just wanted to give her soft kisses until Anne smiled again—
UGHHHH!
No, not with the kisses!
God, of course the girl had to be not only exactly her type, but also the most fucking attractive girl she has ever laid her eyes on.
Like, she just had a good monologue about Boleyn's lips! Her fucking soft as shit, plump, small, hella kissable-looking lips!
Wait a second... oh fuck she did it again!
But see! This just proves her point.
It's driving Cathy crazy as every time she thinks about Anne, something attracts Catherine to her, either physically, emotionally, or sexually.
Like, dammmn! Why is she so hot?! Catherine feels like a criminal or a creep just thinking about Anne like this, but she can't help but continue to stare.
Cathy groaned as she covered her mouth with one hand in embarrassment.
God, she was so obvious. How has she not been outed yet?
Like, come on, with how much she stares at Anne's lips, or flushes when she makes eye contact with the breathtaking green orbs of hers, how? Just, how?
And don't even get her started on Anne's other sexually appealing features, like the luscious, curvy, hour-glass figure she had, or how her hands—
Bzzt. Bzzt.
Catherine's rant in her head was interrupted by the notification on her phone. She opened it up to see that her mom has texted her.
"Hey there my little cub, your father is stuck in a meeting so he can't pick you up today. Do you mind walking home? I'm sorry."
Catherine sighed and texted her mom it was alright.
'Hm, I wonder how Anne gets home.....' she thought to herself with a curious hum, but then she stopped in her tracks. 'Wait... oh for the sake of fanfiction!'
She threw her head back and loudly groaned in frustration.
This is just great! Now she is going to be walking home and the only thing she can think about is still Anne.
Jesus Christ! What is wrong with her?
She then closed her locker and started to walk towards the exit of the building.
"This day can't possibly get worse," Catherine mumbled under breath.
Crack-a-boom!
Never mind, looks like she has just been corrected by the universe. She looked out the door, and you guessed it, it was fucking raining!
Catherine just loves her life.
She rolled her eyes and started to walk back into the school. Bright side, at least she could kill time in the school library before she walks home.
The benefits of actually liking literature. Who knew it could be so useful?
Wait, shit. She can't think positive things like that when the universe is against her. Something is bound to go wrong then!
". . . . ."
Catherine suspiciously scanned the hall.
Huh, nothing went wrong?
Maybe she is just being overdramatic. Yeah... Yeah! It's all in her head, the universe was really just trying to say that she should catch up on some much needed reading!
'Thank you universe!' She thought to herself appreciatively.
"WEEEEEEEEE!" A scream reverberated, breaking the pleasurable silence Cathy found comfort in.
Shit!
That son of a bitch called fate tricked her!
'Fuck you Universe, and your bipolar ass!'
Catherine groaned as she darted towards the direction of the noise.
The universe apparently has changed it's mind and decided that it wants Catherine to go on an adventure and socialize....
Fun.
But ignoring the sarcasm, Catherine gives into curiosity. She is too worried that if she doesn't listen to faith, it will screw her over worse than it already has planned.
Also, she can't help but wonder who is still in this hall nearly half-an-hour after school has ended, it just intrigued her. Even more so with the loud noises.
There were loud squeaks coming from one room. To Catherine, it sounded like a million swivel chairs were on crack.
Then a loud crash caused her to jolt up.
"OH GRAPES!" Another, familiar, but not recognizable, voice screeched.
What on Earth could they be up too?
Catherine cautiously crept up to the door, debating whether or not she should peak inside.
"Ha! Ha! That's on you, dumbass! Maybe next time you'll listen to me and not pretend the rolling chair is a skateboard! God! You're so chaotic, it's hysterical!" A very familiar and recognizable voice with a German accent wheezed.
It caused Catherine to freeze for a second. That... that was most definitely Anna..... Fuck, she is so going to regret this later.
Cathy threw open the door with shut eyes, but after hearing the gasps around the room, she slowly opened them. Her eyes instantly widened at the sight as she analyzed her surroundings. They were.... not what she expected.
Not a single bit.
Swivel chairs were everywhere, a lot more than she expected the school to ever have. There was one unfamiliar face who had completely dismissed Catherine. She wore her hair up in a high ponytail and had the bottom half of her hair dyed to be pink. She wore a pink turtle neck that had a few white paws printed on it, which was tucked into her tight black skirt that ended an inch or two above her knees, thus revealing her black, ripped leggings. She looked pretty young the way she presented herself, with a goofy smile and legs criss crossed on the chair, but her figure told Cathy that she was probably a sophomore or junior.
The young girl was spinning in one of the chairs while sipping on a juice box, humming to whatever song was playing from her AirPods. Then, there was Anna, who was wheezing the second she recognized Parr, it got to the point where she was laughing so hard that she collapsed onto the table. Finally, she looked down and was overflown with emotions.
Happy. Confused. Nervous. Hella confused. Slightly turned-on. Confused. Quizzical. And has confused been mentioned yet? Cause Catherine is so fucking confused right now.
There, lying on the ground, was a giggling Anne Boleyn who hasn't noticed Cathy yet. Anne was obviously the one who fell off the chair. For starters, her hair was spread across the floor, out of its two buns and was getting tangled up as the girl threw her head back and laughed. Then, there was her position. She was leaning up a bit from the floor, she was steadying herself on her elbows that were angled behind her, and her legs were tangled up in a swivel chair that was also on the ground. Finally, there was her smile. Oh god, it was so genuine and so beautiful that Cathy thought she would melt. She had to bite back a smile in case the Boleyn girl saw her.
When Anne was happy, it was impossible to not feel all bubbly inside, her smile was contagious.
Catherine was nervous, how could she make her presence known to the other girl without looking like a bumbling idiot?
But Cathy soon didn't have to, as Anna pointed at her, revealing her position to the other two girls, thus causing them to gasp in shock.
The younger looking one had dropped her juice box as she covered her hands over her mouth, eyes widened and full of fear. Anne, however, threw her head further back. Thus, she banged it on the hard, wooden floor. She instantly shot up in pain, rubbing it as she untangled her legs from the chair. Cathy couldn't help but giggle as she noticed the adorable wild mane Anne had from all this movement, and the adorable blush that covered her face.
Cathy was now both nervous and excited that the girl spotted her.
"C-Cathy? H-Hey, um, what's up?" Anne asked nervously, probably trying to forget what had just happened. She awkwardly rubbed the back of her neck as she chuckled.
"Nothing much, I was just walking by and heard screaming," Catherine began to explain, she then made eye contact with Anne and her nerves started to race throughout her body. "S-so I checked it out, and, um, now I'm here."
"Oh," Both Anne and the mystery girl said, just now realizing how loud they were.
"See, I told you she was a gremlin!" Anna cackled. "She can't even be quiet when a swivel chair is involved. Imagine how loud her moans are during sex!"
"CLEVES! SHUT THE FUDGE UP!" Anne screamed while covering the pink-haired girl's ears. The girl just innocently stared at Anna, not rejecting the action.
What in hell's name was going on? Why was Anne using fake swears, and who was that girl? These were the questions that raced through Catherine's mind.
"Oh, don't get your panties in a twist Anne, she's 16, more than old enough to handle a sex joke." Cleves pointed out.
"Hush!" Anne shushed her and then stuck out her tongue playfully and removed her hands from the other girls ears.
"Where's the gag?" Cleves jokingly asked.
'Oh god, they are starting it again.' Cathy thought.
"Anna."
"What? Knowing your loud ass history, someone must have given you one." Cleves teased, thus causing the girl to blush.
"Cleves, I will not hesitate to end you with stale bread." Anne threatened.
"Bitch, please, try me!" Cleves challenged her.
"I would, but purse dogs are so last season." Anne shot at her, thus causing Cleves to gasp.
"Oh ho ho, you hoe!" Anna laughed.
"I'm not a tool Anna, not all of us are obsessed with gardening." Anne joked.
"What the fu— Wait. You know what? Fuck you!" She flipped Anne off, who just grinned in reply.
"Can't. There is a child in the room."
They then all turned to the pink-haired girl, who was playing on her phone. She then noticed the attention and looked up and smiled.
"Hey Anne?" She hesitantly asked.
"Yeah KitKat?" Anne sweetly asked, calling the girl a loving nickname that stuck out to Cathy like a sore thumb.
Maybe Anne calling her Cathy really wasn't that special.
"Do you think a hamster would be scared of duck tape?" The young girl asked.
Okay, what the actual flip flap fuck?
"What?" Anne asked in utter confusion. At least Catherine wasn't the only one lost.
"You know, duck tape. It's like a duck, right?.... like, as in, quack quack, I'm a birdie, quack?" Kitty tilted her head as she stared at them, trying to figure out whether or not the others understood her.
The three other girls all stared at her quizzically, that is, until Anne and Anna both burst out laughing.
"Oh god Kitty, you are so precious." Cleves grinned.
"Yes, yes she is!" Anne giggled. She then bent down and placed her lips on the girls forehead affectionately. After a few seconds, she backed away and grinned at 'Kitty'. "That's one of the things I love most about her." Anne told Cleves.
Catherine was dead silent after both hearing and seeing this. There was this feeling in her gut that didn't sit well, no, it ached. It was as if she had just puked. Nervous, helpless, in pain. Cathy can't think straight at all.
And that last one happens a lot around the Boleyn girl.
But why? Why was she so disturbed by this, it was only a forehead kiss?
Yet seeing Anne's lips, god's grace colored in a pretty crimson coat of lipstick, on someone else made her feel cold, small, and very, very stupid.
Her body hated it, yet her mind knew better. Even if Anne Boleyn was, plot twist, into girls sexually, that doesn't mean she would like Cathy.
That's not how emotions work. That's not how people work. That's not how life works.
And that is most certainly not how Anne works.
After all, who would be attracted to the underclassman who always had their nose in a book?
No one.
And with that realization, Cathy felt her confidence fade away. She tried not to let it show on her face though. The last thing she wanted was to be outed and pitied. So she wore a fake smile and looked at the three.
"You guys seem really close, good for you." She looked anywhere but in Anne's eyes. She did not want to see the emotion that was filled when looking at Kitty diminish when Anne looked at her.
But that's not what happened. Anne had given Cathy a soft look, but once she saw Cathy's "smile", she frowned and stared at her worried.
"Um, yeah. We've been mates for a long time. Kitty and I are especially close," She explained as she nervously tucked a strand of hair behind her ear.
The words "especially close" rang in Catherine's ears, over and over, again and again. It made her stomach turn as she bit a small section of her lip.
Fuck. Catherine thinks she knows this feeling.
She has read about it in books, and has felt envious of other girls before, but never like this.
Huh, so that’s jealousy.
She doesn't like it.
Catherine honestly didn't know how to reply. So thank goodness Anna did it for her.
"You never answered Kat's question, Bo," Cleves informed Anne.
"Oh, right.... I guess a lil' hamster could be scared of duck tape?" Anne answered, obviously skeptical of her own reply.
"Okay! Can I ask another question?" Kitty nervously tugged the hem of her skirt.
"Go for it." Anne grinned at her, playfully rubbing her head and messing up her hair.
"Anne, who is she?" The young girl pointed at Cathy.
All three girls froze after hearing that question.
Well shit, now Cathy was curious... who is she to Anne?

We’re all just mirror shards
______________________________
Hello again everyone, I’m proud to say that I have a decent amount of chapters done for this story, so I should be updating multiple times. I just need to sort through and separate it into parts because I wrote it all as if it was one long chapter. I really didn’t expect the original part 3 to be over 8,000 words... oops-
But in all seriousness, I am still sick and had to transfer and edit the part on multiple platforms and websites before uploading it, so if there are any mistakes I apologize and please let me know so I can fix it.
Thank you all so much, and enjoy another chapter of Catherine Parr being a disastrous Bi.
Word count: about 2,575.
Warnings: cursing, Cathy is a disastrous Bi, kind of subtly mentions the topic of perversion. (Once again, please tell me if I should add any tags.)
————————————————
Part 3,
Cathy Parr
————————————————
Oh, how Catherine Parr hated Irony.
She realized this two minutes after messaging her friends that she was trapped in the closet with Anne Boleyn.
You know, the mother fucking hottest girl in school and also the girl she has been drooling over for a week.
They were literally stuck in the closet.
Together.
Alone.
Like, what the actual fuck?! Only a Bi disaster like herself could get into a mess like this.
Catherine once again sighed, it's probably been the tenth time in the past two minutes. Thus, it caused Anne Boleyn to look up at her.
"Jeez, glad to see you enjoy my company." Anne sarcastically said, rolling her eyes.
Catherine's eyes widened in shock, she didn't mean to be rude at all.
"I-I'm sorry, it's not like that at all, I swear!" She quickly jumped to explain, causing Anne to flinch in shock. Catherine then bit her lip nervously as she played with her hoodie strings again. "I just, I just had something to do today, and,  um.... shit. Words, why?" She whined, covering her face with her hands out of embarrassment.
That's when Anne realized her mistake.
"Oh god, Catherine." Anne groaned as she got up and moved to stand right beside Catherine, she then slid down the wall so they could sit side-by-side. "Shit, I'm sorry mate. That's on me. I didn't mean to worry you, I'm just really shaken up from the..."  she sighed.
Anne didn't finish her sentence, but she didn't need to. Catherine already knew what she was talking about. And those boys better hope she never finds out who they are, otherwise they will receive a book to the face. Hard cover.
Catherine looked at the girl carefully, she saw the stress that covered her face, the cute little pout plastered on it, and what broke Catherine's heart, the slight fear in her eyes.
She decided that she needed to make sure Anne is okay. So she, hesitantly, placed her hand on top of Anne's leg, gaining the girl's attention.
"Are, are you alright?" She asked cautiously.
Anne wanted to tell her to mind her own business. She wanted to shut her out. She wanted to yell at her and tell her that she had no right to ask that, to remind her that they were strangers.
And they were strangers, so why should she care for her.
Why would Catherine care so much?
The question boggled Anne's mind. She must have heard the rumors about her, like, who hasn't? And she was obviously friends with Aragon.... so why? Why was she so set on making sure Anne was okay? This was literally their second time spending time together.
Nonetheless, they were trapped in a fucking closet!
Maybe it was because of this question, or perhaps it was because they were strangers, or it could have been because she too, was a writer who loved a good mystery.
Or maybe, just maybe, Anne Boleyn was tired of her mask and wanted to set it down, even if it was just for a minute, in a closet, with just a single person.
But that person was Catherine, and that made her want to believe in faith once again.
So after a few minutes of tension as silent grew between them, and Catherine debating with herself in her head whether or not this was the right thing to do, Anne Boleyn answered her.
"Being completely honest, no. I haven't been all day." She sighed as she hugged her knees to her chest, and laid her head down on them. "I'm tired, scared, and alone." She mumbled.
Catherine's eyes widened, was the world deceiving her? Was she somehow high? She couldn't believe what was happening, but Lo and behold, there sat Anne Boleyn, curled into a tiny ball and admitting her insecurities. To Catherine Parr. A complete nobody!
Seriously, what the fuck was Catherine on to envision this?
She couldn't think of anything, so it had to be real.
Catherine reaches out to hold her. She wanted nothing more than to hug the girl, to tell her everything was alright, to shush away any and all fears and whisper sweet nothings into her ears. But she couldn't. She, herself, was to scared to infringe Anne's personal boundaries, and she refused to ignore them.
So instead, Catherine went into her lunch and pulled out half of her sandwich, she then gently tapped Anne's shoulder.
"What is it Catherine, was that answer not good eno—" she paused when she saw Catherine's offering. "Yo-you don't have to do that." Anne tiredly stuttered.
Fuck. She was cute when she stuttered, and Catherine wanted to savor it so badly, but she couldn't. Not now. Anne needed her.
"Take it, it'll make me happier knowing you had something to eat than to have the whole thing myself." She smiled softly.
Hesitantly, Anne took it.
"If you say so, mate..." Anne began to unwrap the plastic wrap covering it.
Catherine bit her bottom lip, should she say it or not. She looked over at Anne to see the pout still spread on her face. That's when something snapped inside of Catherine.
Oh for fuck sake, she was not going to overthink things anymore. If she accidentally fucks things up, then oh well! But she refused to over complicate things. At this point, she didn't care if it would be awkward or ruin her social life. She also knew she didn't have to care, she could easily just end the conversation there, but to leave Anne like this?
To hell with that!
So with a deep breath and all the courage she was able to muster up, Catherine decided to talk to Anne like a normal person.
It always sounds easier than it actually is.
"Hey Anne? Just so you know... you can talk to me if you want." She played with her thumbs in the inside of her hoodie pocket, but then she realized her mistake and shot her focus to Anne, fear in her eyes. "Not saying that you have too, though. It's just... if you, yourself, are ever feeling like you want to talk, that's fine with me. If you rather, um, that I drop this topic, then sure thing..." Catherine nervously rambled. She then looked at Anne, who was just staring back at her in expectance.  Catherine had to take another deep breath to calm herself. "It's just, whatever helps you out the best, then I'm for it. Uh. No matter what it is, I, um, promise I'll find it swell." She ended her monologue.
Swell. Swell?!
Catherine internally groaned. What the fuck is wrong with her when she talked to this girl. It was like she had two single brain cells that functioned around Anne. And one was just screaming have my fanfiction babies!
That isn't even biologically possible!
That's it, Catherine is deleting her tumblr account and will be going to bed at a decent hour. Like 1 a.m. instead of 4 a.m.
She nervously looked over at the Boleyn girl who had an unreadable expression.
God, does Catherine want to be able to read her unreadable expressions.
"Okay, Catherine...." she quietly mumbled.
Catherine sighed as she retreated to grab her own half of the sandwich. On the bright side, at least the girl wasn't pouting anymore.
They both began to eat quietly.
Anne hummed a bit, obviously enjoying the food. Her lifted spirit brought a smile to Catherine's face.
"It's good..." Anne nervously looked at Catherine. "Thank you."
"It's alright. I mean, it is just a sandwich." Catherine chuckled.
"No, not for that." Anne bit her lip as she stared at Catherine.
The look conveyed helplessness, something she didn't expect from the Boleyn girl.
She really was a mystery.
Anne then let out a deep sigh.
"I mean, thank you for what you said earlier... it means a lot." The girl awkwardly rubbed her shoulder.
Catherine wasn't sure if her eyes were deceiving her, but for a second, she swore she saw a blush tint Anne's face.
They then continued to eat their lunch in silence.
Catherine looked up at Anne and once again admired her beauty.
Usually, she has to do so from afar, and it's stunning.
But now? Oh god, she was even more breathtaking up close. And Catherine thought that was impossible!
Apparently, it wasn't.
Anne had such an alluring, mature look. Her natural beauty was jaw-dropping as her flawless, porcelain skin glowed and her lustrous, straightened locks fell down her back.
However, now that she was sitting next to her, Catherine was able to appreciate more than just Anne's face and hair..
And damn, was she a sight.
As her eyes shifted down, she was able to admire the perfect curve of Anne's neck that went down  to her exposed collarbone. And oh boy, that wasn't the only curve she was able to enjoy. Anne definitely had assets that showed her femininity, clearly more than Catherine's did. With her glowing, crystal-clear complexion enhancing her beauty, Catherine was able to get caught up in Anne's curvy figure. She had a sexy hourglass figure, of course. Nothing less for the beautiful Anne Boleyn. After a few seconds, she had managed to shift her eyes so she could enjoy the beauty of the legs connected to the girls slim waist. They were muscular, and she had beautiful and thick, yet not saggy nor fat, thighs.
Finally, she was able to peel her eyes off of Anne's body. When she looked up, she met the girls eyes.
Catherine blinked a few times, then jumped back out of shock.
Fuck.
Fuck. Fuck. Fuck. Fuck. Fuck. Fuck. Fuck. Fuck. Fuck. Fuck. Fuck. Fuck. Fuck. Fuck. Fuck. Fuck. Fuck. Fuck. Fuck. Fuck. Fuck. Fuck. Fuck. Fuck. Fuck. Fuck. Oh Fuck.
Abort mission! Abort mission!
Catherine felt the heat rise to her face in seconds. She couldn't believe she was just caught checking her out. Especially after the incident they just went through.
Why is she such a fucking Bi disaster?! There is a time and a place!
And this was neither the time nor place!
How could she be so blatantly inconsiderate?!
"S-Sorry I—" Catherine tried to muster up a proper apology, but was interrupted.
"It's fine."
Catherine paused for a second, but then she once again met the gaze of Anne Boleyn.
"It's no big deal, really." She shrugged.
Catherine sighed in relief. For once, she was glad for the heteronormative world she lived in. At least it didn't hurt Anne, and that's what matters.
"I'm used to it anyway."
The comment both made Catherine's eyes widened, and broke her heart. Anne wore a pained expression that just worsened the heartache.
No, that isn't right. She shouldn't be use to it. No one should. But what could she do to express that? Preferably, without outing herself.
Shit.
She has nothing. But Anne needed her, so she just had to give it her best shot.
Catherine carefully reached out to grab Anne's hand, and as soon as she confirmed the girl had not pulled her hand away, Catherine gave it a gentle squeeze.
"Anne... I'm truly sorry."
Anne looked at her in bewilderment.
"Catherine, there is no need to commiserate me, I said it was fine."
"But it's not." Catherine quickly said.
There was a pause in the conversation. The tension was so thick that one could cut it with a knife.
"It's... it's not okay." Catherine finally continued, as she then  placed her other hand onto Anne's and held them up. "You do not deserve to be treated like that. You are a person, not some doll... so I'm really, truly sorry, Anne." She looked down in shame as she gently lets go of Anne's hand.
There, it was done.
And Anne, she was...
Laughing?
Catherine shifted her body to get a better view of Anne, only to have the girl fall onto her. Arms slung around her neck, Anne’s chest pressed against hers, and Anne's beautiful laugh rang in her ears.
Catherine was in a complete state of bewilderment, but she honestly didn't mind. Anne obviously intrigued her.
And the more and more she saw of this girl, the deeper the hole Catherine fell into.
She wanted to understand what was going on, but couldn't bring herself to ask.
So instead, she slithered her arms around the girls waist and held Anne closer.
And that'll assuage Catherine's desires. At least, it will for now.
After a few minutes, Anne was able to finally stop laughing as she sat back and looked at Catherine.
"Sorry, that was a bit rude of me, wasn't it Catherine." She wore a toothy grin that caused Catherine to smile herself.
"It's alright, I might be confused—"
"Oh, I'm certain you're hella confused." Anne giggled.
"—Yes, I am. But..." Catherine paused for a second, blushing at her thought.
"But?" Anne mimicked in a curious tone, her usual gleam of mischief was burning brighter than it ever had before.
Oh god, she was so cute. Catherine thought she was going to die of bisexual tendencies.
"But, I'm honestly just so relieved to see you smile again." Catherine nervously chuckled as she awkwardly rubbed the back of her neck.
She was too embarrassed to look Anne straight in the eyes, so Catherine missed the massive blush that colored Anne's face.
Anne then grabbed Catherine's hand and squeezed it.
"Catherine... Thank you. A lot of people would spend their life not even once considering to apologize for something like that, so it really does show that you're a good person." Anne smiled at her, and it warmed her heart. "You are an incredibly caring and considerate person. So, I want you to know that I admire that about you, Cathy."
Catherine instantly choked on air after hearing that.
The message itself was enough to embarrass Catherine. But Anne...
Anne called her Cathy.
No one ever gave her a nickname like that, it was really embarrassing. So why did it give Catherine this warm feeling she usually gets from affection?
Was it a source of affection?
"Are you alright, Cathy? Here, have some water." Anne offered her.
Yup, the nickname was definitely what did it.
Catherine appreciatively took the water and chugged it.
"Jeez, were you that thirsty?" Anne commented as Catherine coughed a bit.
Yes.
Just not for the water, and the realization of that was killing Catherine.
"I-... I just wasn't expecting the nickname..." Catherine bashfully admitted.
Anne stared at her in confusion, the gears shifting above her head, and when everything came into place, Anne was just as big of a mess as Cathy.
"O-oh, I'm sorry. I didn't mean to overstep any boundaries, I just-"
"No, no, no, Anne. It's fine, I just wasn't expecting it. I never had a nickname before so it made me really happy!" Catherine nervously rambled, hoping the girl wouldn't blame herself.
God. This was a disaster.
But, hey! At least Anne was all for it.
"Alright, then I'll keep calling you it, if that's okay with you, Cathy." She giggled, adding a few years to Catherine's life span with the way she said her name.
"Sure, cool. Sounds great!" Catherine nervously chuckled as she did finger guns.
She mentally cursed herself out for this.
Welp, that's it. It's official. Catherine's birth certificate shall be changed to include "disastrous Bi" on it.
God, what did Catherine get herself into.
