Duchess of Cambridge - 2020 Statistics (FULL YEAR)
In 2020, the Duchess of Cambridge completed (by my count) 129 engagements, only 3 less than the amount of engagements she completed by my count in 2019. As well as this, she was sighted (or appeared) 8 times and appeared in a whopping 39 official (or unofficial and leaked!) photographs.
Tumblr media
She gained several new patronages through the year and finished with 22 patronages. Of her 129 engagements, 59 were related to one of her patronages, averaging at one patronage visit every 2.19 engagements. Her most visited patronage was, of course, the Royal Foundation of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge (formerly, the Royal Foundation of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and the Duke and Duchess of Sussex), with 39 visits. This was followed by the National Portrait Gallery (with 5 visits). She performed no engagements on behalf of Action for Children, the Air Cadets, the Foundling Museum, the Lawn Tennis Association, NursingNow2020, the Royal College of Obstetricians & Gynaecologists, the Royal Photographic Society, the V&A, or 100 Women in Finance.
Tumblr media
Of her engagements, 54 have been solo and 62 accompanied by her husband, the Duke of Cambridge. One was with the entire Cambridge family, four with the whole (or most of) the working British Royal Family, and eight with one other solo royal (predominantly the Countess of Wessex).
Tumblr media
Nearly all of the engagements physically took place in England, with every engagement physically occuring in the British Isles. Despite that, I counted the engagements which took place via video call or phone call as the place where the other party of the engagement was (e.g. her phone call with Reliance Retail counted as India). 91 of the engagements took place in England, with 65 of those occuring in London. Catherine also performed engagements in Wales, Scotland, Northern Ireland, and the Republic of Ireland. Catherine also undertook two UK-wide tours throughout the year.
During the year, she performed engagements on a variety of themes. 24 of those engagements were predominantly related to her Early Years initiative, while 16 were linked to culture and 14 linked to children and childcare. 10 engagements were diplomatic in nature, while she also completed 9 engagements linked to mental health, 5 linked to sport, 4 linked to the military, 3 linked to the outdoors, and 1 linked to the Commonwealth. Catherine also completed 43 engagements which could not otherwise be categorised.
Tumblr media
Clotheswise, her most worn designer has been Zara, with 12 outfits, followed by 9 outfits from Alexander McQueen, while 16 items of clothing were unidentified. In a year where few bags were seen, her most carried bag designer was Jimmy Choo (4), followed by Grace Han (3), and Alexander McQueen, Anya Hindmarch, Jenny Packham, and Mulberry on 2. Her most worn shoe designer was a tie between Gianvito Rossi (who has been her most-worn designer since 2016) and Ralph Lauren with 8 pairs worn, followed by 5 pairs from Emmy London and 4 pairs from Jimmy Choo and Superga. For once, Catherine’s most worn jewellery designer was not Kiki McDonough (in fact, she wore 0 pieces of Kiki McDonough jewellery this year!). Instead, her most worn jewellery designer was Daniella Draper, with 18 wears, followed by Catherine Zoraida with 8 wears and Accessorize, Patrick Mavos, and Spells of Love with 7 wears apiece. When it comes to accessories, her face masks from Amaia Kids are her most worn item, with 14 wears. She had 5 unidentified pieces, while she wore her Anderson’s belt 4 times. According to my (100% wrong) calculations, she wore £70,253.45 worth of new clothes this year, and £170,678.25 worth of clothes in total.

st. patrick’s day styling for the duchess of cambridge
so it would be a HUGE shock if Kate didn’t wear green and that being said I’d love if she wore a brighter green. She usually goes for the deeper hues but I would love to see a repeat of this catherine walker coat with a jane taylor headband. because i love cool tones and contrast i went with teal accessories in a bottega veneta clutch and gianvito rossi heels. it’s also obvious she’ll wear her gold shamrock brooch so i paired it with her gold catherine zoraida hoops.

A Very Catherine Christmas Recap--2014
William and Catherine attended Christmas Service at St. Mary Magdalene Church on the Sandringham estate. It looks like they only attended one church service whereas in the past they’ve attended a service early in the morning before the traditional walk.
Tumblr media
Sometimes when I look back at these older photos these two look like babies compared to how regal they look now. William looks dapper and Catherine looks so chic in this mostly brown ensemble with those random black gloves which are probably Cornelia James if anyone wanted to know. When I say random I don’t truly mean random, Catherine favors black Cornelia James gloves but when everything else is brown, down to the tights, black gloves look pretty random. The brown tweed coat is by Moloh which has been discontinued. Looking through their website I’m surprised Kate doesn’t wear this brand more often, it’s very much her style.
Tumblr media
Look at that blood orange lining of the coat though, its such a gorgeous contrast! This was one year we actually got an ID on the dress under the coat, it’s apparently Hobbs and has been worn before but also under a coat so no good pictures of it actually exist.
The shoes are brown Emmy London in a style that has been discontinued. I’m guessing this brand is quite comfortable as Kate has quite a few pairs of the Emmy London Rebecca court shoes that she has been wearing a lot recently. As a side note, I’ve always wondered if Kate was one of those people who could wear whatever shoes (within reason) and it doesn’t really bother them--I know quite a few people like that whereas I’m quite picky and need shoes that are stable, comfortable and I need a nice long breaking in period while preferring orthotic supports in my shoes.
Tumblr media
Enough about her shoes though, look at her healthy pregnancy glow! Catherine was pregnant with Charlotte this Christmas. In this close up you can see the beautiful detailing of this coat--the cuffs with buttons, the princess seams, and the epaulettes. Peeking out of that collar is a silk scarf by Really Wild Clothing that is discontinued. Her brown hat is a rewear by Lock and Co, previously worn for St. Patricks Day in 2012. And Catherine finally changed up her earrings! They’re by Catherine Zoraida, the Gold Double Leaf earrings which are still available to purchase here.
It was a very pretty look but I won’t lie, the brown and gold is pretty sartorially boring compared to the deep jewel tones of her other Christmas looks-- I enjoy her use of Christmas colors without looking obnoxiously festive.

Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge’s Zoom Call In Sandro
Tumblr media
Dressing from the waist up for zoom calls is something that has become our new normal.
But something tells me that Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge didn’t apply that on her latest zoom call with to Crisis Text Volunteers on Friday.
I imagine she was looking prim from head to her L.K.Bennett clad toes.
This is usually the time of year when Catherine brings out her spring time wardrobe, so I was impressed with her Sandro knitted cardigan.
The key for dressing from the waist up is all in the details.
We can’t see the decorative buttons that accent this cardigan, but we do see the dainty scallop trims.
Factor in the Catherine Zoraida Fern drop earrings and swept back hair, and we have a truly effervescent summery look.
I’m glad she’s opting for laidback looks for these Zoom calls.
Yes, a blazer can look very smart, but in this setting it would feel too formal.
I mean, who wears a blazer at home?
They say a lipstick can enliven any look, which is what the soft pink hue does.

Kate Middleton  definitely plays favorites. No, not with her children (that we know of) but with her shoes. She's nothing if not reliable when it comes to her footwear choices for different kinds of occasions. Yes, she'll sometimes throw us for a loop  and introduce a new brand or different color into the mix, but overall, her outfits follow certain formulas. For instance, she loves to color-coordinate her shoes. If she's wearing a green dress, she'll either go matchy-matchy and choose shoes in the exact same hue, or she'll do a tonal look by selecting shoes in a different shade of the same color family. In the same vein, she also likes to match her accessories to her shoes, so if she has a black bag and belt, you can pretty much guess what color her shoes will be. Scroll down to see and shop the rest of Middleton's favorite shoes to wear with dresses. When in doubt, go with color-coordinated shoes like Kate Middleton always does. She either goes for a full monochrome look or chooses shoes in a slightly different shade than her dress for a cool tonal look.  On Middleton: ARossGirl x Soler Amanda Dress ($434); Asprey clutch bag; Zeen Dazzling Ceramic Drop Earrings ($8); Emmy London shoes Wear these with a green dress à la Middleton. On Middleton: Preen dress; Gianvito Rossi shoes Hurry: This great sale price is calling your name. On Middleton: Catherine Walker coat; Jimmy Choo shoes So practical, so classic. On Middleton: Needle and Thread dress; Gianvito Rossi pumps If you want to invest in a designer version, this is your best bet. Kate Middleton's favorite shoes to wear with more casual dresses are undoubtedly her Castañer tan wedges. Specifically, she always wears them with floral short-sleeve midi dresses. She owns versions by Sandro, L.K.Bennett, and others.  On Middleton: Castañer Carina Espadrilles ($119); Catherine Zoraida earrings Middleton's favorite wedge brand is a foolproof purchase. On Kate Middleton: Sandro dress; Castañer Carina Espadrilles ($119) The shoes come in a variety of colors both neutral and bright. On Middleton: L.K.Bennett dress; Castañer Carina Espadrilles ($119); Mulberry bag Another perfect option. These pink ones are on sale just in time for spring. Middleton also loves to wear ankle boots with dresses and tights. These L.K.Bennett boots are one of her newest additions, and we have a feeling she'll get plenty of use out of them.  On Middleton: L.K.Bennett Mollie Boots These will go with everything from jeans to dresses. On Middleton: Eponine London dress; L.K.Bennett Mollie Boots Yes, you can wear these well into spring and summer. For chillier weather, the Duchess of Cambridge's outfit formula is simple: midi dress and coat of the same length plus knee-high suede boots. If it ain't broke, why fix it?  On Middleton: Hobbs coat; Zara dress; Stuart Weitzman boots Hurry: These are 50% off right now. On Middleton: Sportmax coat; Michael Kors dress; Manu Atelier bag; Stuart Weitzman boots Emulate Middleton and wear these with your favorite midi dress. You can always rely on Vince for well-made basics that will last forever. Next, Jennifer Lopez's favorite under-$50 basics just hit Nordstrom .

Duchess Of Cambridge Took Her Landmark Survey To Northern Ireland And Scotland
Tumblr media
Today, the Duchess of Cambridge had a very whirlwind and busy day. She was visiting the Ark Open Farm near Belfast, as part of her tour of the UK to promote her landmark survey on the early years, ‘5 Big Questions on the Under-Fives’ before heading to Aberdeen in Scotland to visit the Social Bite café. Both the engagements were embargoed due to security reasons.
The visit came after the launch of her landmark survey that is part of her life long project ‘Early Years Intervention’. She launched the survey last month in Birmingham. Then Catherine visited Cardiff and Woking to promote the survey and undertook an engagement in London too and heard from people across communities about their thoughts on how experiences in the early years can impact upon later life.
Conducted by Ipsos MORI on behalf of The Royal Foundation, the survey contains five short questions and aims to spark a national conversation on the early years that will ultimately help bring about positive, lasting change for generations to come. So far, 2,00,000 people have taken part in the survey.
Tumblr media
Duchess of Cambridge, who is styled as Baroness Carrickfergus in Northern Ireland, was welcomed in the Irish city Belfast by the Democratic Unionist Party leader Arlene Foster who shared her excite via Twitter, “Delighted to welcome the Duchess of Cambridge to Belfast earlier.….lots of excited children….and adults”.
Tumblr media
About the survey Palace said,
“It follows eight years of work by the Duchess of Cambridge, during which she has explored how experiences in early childhood often lie at the root of the hardest social challenges the country faces today. Catherine has spent time meeting with families across the country and hearing about the issues they deal with day-to-day, as well as speaking to academics, experts, organisations and practitioners. In May 2018, the Duchess convened a steering group of experts to focus on how to bring about positive, lasting change in this area.
The survey is designed to bring together the thoughts of as many people as possible — recognising that everyone has a role in ensuring strong, healthy foundations for the youngest in our society that will positively affect their lifelong outcomes. The findings should provide a vital source of information for the early years sector, helping it to better understand public perceptions of the importance of the early years, and the first-hand experiences of parents, families and carers. This public feedback will also help to focus Her Royal Highness’ work through The Royal Foundation as she endeavours to provide children across the UK with the best foundations to lead healthy and fulfilling lives.”
Tumblr media
During her visit to the Ark Open farm, the Duchess of Cambridge spoke to local parents and grandparents about the themes covered in her survey, which closes on 21st February.
Tumblr media
The Duchess heard their thoughts on the most important factors that ensure children become happy adults and the role of parents and society in ensuring children have the best possible start in life.
Tumblr media
As expected, the Mother of three adorable kids, Catherine was more than happy to spend the time with kids. Talking to kids she said, “Charlotte and George will be very sad not to have met you and see this really cool farm”.
Tumblr media
The Ark Open Farm opened in 1990 as one of the first open farms in Northern Ireland. Having initially specialised in rare breeds of farm animals, the farm has now developed a number of play areas and activities for children. At present, the farm is set on 40 acres of countryside and is home to a variety of animals, including alpacas and lambs.
Tumblr media
Getting kids outside to play and spend time had been the centre point of Catherine’s ‘Back to Nature’ Garden in 2019.
Tumblr media
Open farms such as this are important in providing places in the community for family members of all generations to spend quality time together while allowing children to benefit from spending time outdoors. Talking to The Belfast Telegraph the Owner Stewart Donaldson said,
He was delighted to welcome the Duchess of Cambridge to Ark Open Farm in what is a very special year for the family-run farm.
“It’s our 30th anniversary. We’re all very excited. It was quite a job keeping her visit secret. We had only 10 days notice,” he explained. “We have a plaque which Kate will unveil to mark our 30th anniversary”.
Tumblr media
At the farm, Duchess met a very special member of the farm — Sophie the corn snake. Laughing with the children Catherine said, “This is the first time I ever held a snake-like this, how cool is that?”
Tumblr media
Before leaving, Catherine thanked the local families for participating in the survey and said, “It’s really interesting to get everyone’s perspectives”.
Tumblr media
The second stop of the day was Social Bite Café in Aberdeen, Scotland. Catherine is styled as Countess of Strathearn in Scotland. Social Bite runs social enterprise cafés throughout Scotland and uses their platform to distribute 100,000 items of food and hot drinks to homeless people each year, as well as employing staff who have experienced homelessness themselves.
Tumblr media
At the Café, Duchess met employees, supported volunteers and customers who have experienced homelessness. She heard how experiences in the early years of life can have a significant effect on lifelong outcomes. Duchess sat down with a group of people involved with and supported by Social Bite and discussed many issues caused by family breakdowns that can impact someone from childhood through their adult life. She talked about the benefits and hard work of the organization.
Tumblr media
As known for her culinary habit and skills, Duchess tried her hand at the Café’s kitchen making a chicken wrap. From Telegraph’s reports,
Talking to the Social Bite co-founder Alice Thompson, Catherine asked, “Have you found examples of how an individual’s childhood has affected them, leading them to where they are now? You obviously see a lot of issues close up, people who come into the cafe to perhaps reach out and you help them. It’s a really big thing to be able to do that and understand everyone’s story and the journey they are on.”
Ms Thompson said, “Oh absolutely, it’s such a massive factor in what we see in our work and we see so many of the same patterns emerging all the time.”
Tumblr media
Before leaving, Catherine stood for a group photograph.
Tumblr media
Thanking everyone who has participated in the survey, Duchess of Cambridge shared a message today,
What has struck me most is that so often the challenges people face in later life, whether mental health, homelessness or family breakdown — can so often be traced back to experiences in their earliest years. It prompted me to delve deeper into the early year’s landscape and learn more from the experts, the scientists and the amazing people providing services on the ground. But now is the time to get the views from everyone in society. I wanted to hear directly from people across the UK and it’s great to have been able to talk to people in Scotland, Northern Ireland, Wales and across England about their experiences. I want to thank the 200,000 people who have filled it out because each and every response will help show us what society really thinks about raising the next generation. I am excited to hear from even more people before it closes on 21st February.
Now to What Duchess wore — Catherine supported two casual looks today.
Tumblr media
For the visit to the farm, Duchess was wearing her Barbour Ladies Waxed ‘Defence’ Jacket.
For the visit to Scotland, Catherine changed into her Reiss Delaney coat.
Tumblr media
Underneath the outerwears, Catherine wore a new Pure Collection Cashmere Roll Neck Sweater in Heather Cornflower. Thanks to Kate’s Royal Closet for the id. $175 sweater is described as, “Sumptuously soft, refined and understated. With its elegant polo neckline, this stunning cashmere sweater adds grown-up glamour to any outfit. In a choice of gorgeous shades, you’ll be needing more than one.” It is currently available in various shades on Pure Collection store.
Duchess brought back her two-decades-old Penelope Chilvers Long Tassel Boots.
Tumblr media
Another new element in her look was Catherine Zoraida Gold Fern Hoop Earrings. Another fab id by Kate’s Royal Closet. Fern Drop Earrings. Made in 18ct gold plated silver earrings are available for £ 165.

You Can Buy Kate Middleton’s White Wimbledon Dress Right Now
Wimbledon may have come and gone for another year but we’re still thinking about some of the stylish looks we spotted court-side. Namely, Kate Middleton’s chic white midi dress that she sported on the second day of the tournament.
The elegant piece is called the “Flippy Wiggle Dress” (yep, we’re serious  – thank goodness for fashion brands who have fun with their names) and is made by Suzannah Crabb, the designer behind Suzannah London. The dress wasn’t available for purchase when the Duchess of Cambridge first wore it, however, the designer has just opened pre-orders for the piece with a delivery time of six weeks. The dress (which is the perfect between-season staple) retails for just over $3,000.
View this post on Instagram
The Duchess is attending The Championships at Wimbledon today, as Patron of the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club (AELTC). Kate is visiting a number of courts throughout the day. Firstly, she attended a match between British player Harriet Dart and American Christina McHale, which took place outside of the Centre Court. Defending champion Angelique Kerber and Wimbledon king Roger Federer are also playing today at Centre Court. The Duchess sat with Katie Boulter, who is not competing at Wimbledon because of an on-going back injury, and former tennis player Anne Keothavong who retired from the sport some years ago. The Duchess is wearing a new white Suzannah midi dress today, along with her McQueen belt, Gianvito Rossi pumps, Ray-Ban sunnies, Catherine Zoraida earrings, and Wimbledon members pin.
A post shared by HRH The Duchess of Cambridge (@katemidleton) on Jul 2, 2019 at 4:59am PDT
The dress looks slightly different to Kate’s because of its belt. The designer’s version comes with a tonal white belt to match the dress whereas Kate replaced it with a black Alexander McQueen bow belt which helped tie her entire outfit together.
Photograph courtesy of Suzannah London
It’s not the first time the future Queen of England has worn a piece by the brand. Kate was snapped in a green, floral print midi from the label back in 2014 as she and Prince William celebrated Prince George’s first birthday at the Natural History Museum. And it appears Kate has turned her family onto the brand also with sister Pippa and Sophie, Countess of Wessex both having been seen in pieces from the label.
The impact of royal fashion choices on brands is well-documented. Just last year, Kate was revealed as the royal most likely to convince US shoppers to buy UK brands, according to Vanity Fair. Much like sister-in-law Meghan Markle, items chosen by Kate usually sell out within hours of being identified. Suzannah London is undoubtedly hoping for the “Kate effect” to strike a second time around.

The Duchess of Cambridge’s Stats - Second Quarter
LOCKDOWN UPDATE: As the majority of these engagements have been Zoom calls from Amner Hall, I had to decide whether to count the engagements as all taking place in Norfolk or not. Instead, I decided to locate them in the place where the engagement would have taken place with no quarantine. For example, a visit to Bond Primary School would e located in Surrey.
In the second three months of 2020, the Duchess of Cambridge has completed 27 engagements, averaging around 9 a month. Her busiest month was May, during which she completed 12 engagements and released 7 photos or videos. She appeared in 5 videos released in April and 3 videos released in June. Catherine also made two in-person engagements in June (her first since March). In May, she launched Hold Still - a nationwide photography compeition. It was her 3rd busiest June and joint busiest May on record.
Of her 21 patronages, she has visited or completed work for 7, totalling 12 engagements in total. In April, Catherine completed three engagements on behalf of her patronages. 2 of those were for the Royal Foundation of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, while one was for both Place2Be. In May, she undertook two engagements for the Royal Foundation, as well as an engagement for Evelina London Children’s Hospital and the National Portrait Gallery. In June, she completed one engagement on behalf of the Royal Foundation, one engagement for Action on Addiction, one engagement for FamilyAction, and two engagements for EACH.
Of her 27 engagements, 9 have been solo and 10 accompanied by her husband, the Duke of Cambridge. Seven engagements were with the the Countess of Wessex (the video calls for International Nurses Day), whilst she also undertook a video call with the Duchess of Cornwall for Children’s Hospice Week.
Just over half of her engagements have taken part in England (17), with 3 of the remaining 10 occuring in Scotland and Wales. Of the 7 engagements she carried out with the Countess of Wessex, 6 took place in other countries, including Malawi and Sierra Leone. Along with the Duke of Cambridge, she also contacted the Surrey Memorial Hospital in Canada. Of the England-based engagements, 10 took place in London, with three occuring in Norfolk. One engagement occured each in Cardiff, Burton-on-Trent, Airdrie, Burnley, Bexhill-on-Sea, Powys, West Yorkshire, East Koyle, and Blackpool. With the exception of two of the Norfolk engagements, ever single other engagement took place via video call.
Six of her engagements have been focused on children - with three engagements focusing on mental health and one engagement focusing on her Early Years Initiative. 1 of her engagements was on the theme of culture, one had an outdoors theme, while a huge 15 of her engagements did not fit into one of the headings I created.
Clotheswise, her most worn designers was LK Bennett, followed by Zara. In this time, she was never seen wearing a hat or carrying a bag, due to the vast majority of her engagements taking place via video call. Her most-worn shoe designer was Superga (only twice!), closely followed by Russell and Bromley (being worn once). Her most worn accessories designer was Catherine Zoraida, with 7 wears, followed by Patrick Mavos with 4, and Accessorize with 3 each.

Kate Middleton’s best earrings, from £30 bargains to £15k stunners
If it’s not baroque, don’t fix it.
It’s no secret that there’s nothing quite like a Kate Middleton hat, however we’d argue that the Duchess of Cambridge’s earring game is just as strong. As any fellow short woman knows, little things can pack a real punch and Kate’s accessories are the important final touch to each of her polished outfits. While you might expect the royal jewels to come with a hefty bill, her favourites actually veer more towards a mid-price range from brands like Monica Vinader and are more affordable than we first thought.
We’ve curated some of her best earring moments below, as well as how to get the look if the payday gods have aligned for you. And if you want more fashion inspiration, we’ve got you – check out our watch and jewellery edit as well as Meghan Markle’s favourite fashion brands and the best Meghan Markle coats for a royal (to-be) touch.

Matching a pair of earrings to Queen Elizabeth’s Cartier Halo tiara was a tall order, but somehow Kate Middleton managed it with the help of her family. Her parents Carole and Michael Middleton enlisted jeweller Robinson Pelham to create bespoke chandeliers for her big day, which featured a secret message. The dangling acorn is actually a reference to the Middleton’s family crest, an emotional touch which would have gone a mile on her big day – even if the £15,000 price tag didn’t.

Kate Middleton Pearl Earrings

Annoushka’s previously featured on our list of the best Valentine’s Day jewellery and it’s no surprise that they’re a firm favourite with the royal family. Kate helped catapult their pearl earrings to fame and with good reason, the versatile pearl drops are adorable and can take you from the office to a cocktail party without too much fuss. Plus, you can also slip off the pearl pendants if you want to switch your look up a bit.

Kate Middleton’s Monica Vinader Earrings
Monica Vinader is one of Kate Middleton’s favourite fashion brands and she’s worn their earrings everywhere: from the ritziest galas at the National History Museum to chilled out public appearances in Canada. And it makes total sense, given that their chic yet understated style is totally Kate’s MO. If you’re looking to cop a Kate original, these are going to be some of the most affordable on the list.
Riva Diamond Cluster Bib Earrings

Kate stepped out at the Vogue100 Exhibition at the National Portrait gallery last year wearing Monica Vinader’s diamond cluster bib necklace and earrings, which were the perfect compliment to her pastel pink Alexander McQueen dress. It’s clearly one of her favourite pieces, as we’ve seen her picking them up again and again. Unfortunately, the set is now out of stock – but we’ve tossed in their matching bracelet below which is still available.

Siren Wire Earrings

Kate’s been spotted out and about wearing these casual beauties and unsurprisingly, they’re some of Monica Vinader’s most popular. (They have nine different versions on their site from rose gold blue agate to silver amazonite.) These are the gold and green onyx edition and in typical Kate style, she’s styled it above in a strong monochrome look.

Kate Middleton’s Kiki McDonough Earrings
Kate loves a bit of Kiki McDonough, so much so that the jeweller’s website has even tagged some of their products with her name. (Clearly, a lot of people have been looking to grab their own Kate original.) The Duchess wears Kiki McDonough’s earrings quite frequently, from her dramatic double drops at Pippa Middleton’s wedding through to their signature Kiki Classic Cushion Drop Earrings.

Kate loves the Kiki Classic Cushion Drop Earrings, which are one of Kiki McDonough’s calling cards. With a tapered hoop set with diamonds and a 10mm coloured cushion stone, she has them in at least three colours: a pastel pink morganite, honey citrine and pale green amethyst. While the citrine ones she’s wearing above are out of stock, we’ve included the pale green ones below.

These aqua earrings from Azuni are a departure from Kate’s timeless style, featuring a bright blue stone in a unique gold-plated brass setting. Previously called the Athena, they’ve since been renamed the ‘Kate’ Small Drop Earrings for obvious reasons – and they’re only £30. Score.

Kate Opens the Nook
Today Catherine officially opened the East Angelia’s Children’s Hospices new location, the Nook in Norfolk.
Tumblr media
“You have created here at The Nook a nurturing, caring environment that allows families who are going through the unimaginable the ability to spend precious quality time with each other, comforted in the knowledge that their children are being looked after in the best possible way. EACH was one of the very first charities that I decided to become Patron of after my marriage. Whilst a lot has changed since then, my commitment and support for this wonderful organisation and the work that you do has not”
--via Kensington Palace Instagram
You may recall, EACH was the charity Catherine made her very first public speech for many years ago.
Tumblr media
Catherine is seriously always the happiest with children. I’m getting total mom vibes from her today and not just because she’s with children but because her hair is just that slightest bit less than perfect and she looks a little tired but she’s there and she’s happy and still gorgeous. In my head I believe Louis is a stubborn sleeper because he’s such a fun and willful character but who knows.
For outfit deets, Catherine is wearing a purple/magenta wool blend Oscar de la Renta skirt and peplum top which is no longer available for purchase.
She paired the set with black opaque tights (I believe she’s done this every time she’s worn this skirt suit) and her black Gianvito Rossi Piper pumps which are available for purchase here.
Tumblr media
Catherine’s bag, not pictured, is a repeat she’s very recently worn by Aspinal of London in collaboration with Beulah London and is no longer available for purchase.
Tumblr media
And she finished off her look with a favorite pair of earrings, the Gold Fern Hoops by Catherine Zoraida, available for purchase here.
I’m holing out hope that we get a video of Catherine’s speech somewhere, I’d love to see it side by side to see how much Catherine’s public speech skills have improved.
