Making this a separate tangent from an ask but I cannot stress enough how much I hate that the TPN wiki has this picture of a woman with a baby from the powerpoint ending under Isabella's anime gallery when we have the pictures of her with Gilda and of her sitting with Alicia, Jemima, and Yvette.

She either learned how to play the guitar to honor Leslie sometime after arriving in the human world, or she learned when she was a child at Grace Field, but we just never got to see her play it before. She didn’t have another biological child. “Oh, the lighting is different, that’s why the hair color doesn’t match”/“She dyed her hair” I just can’t fucking believe you lkdjflkds ᕕ( ᐛ )ᕗ

What I would have given for there to be commentary from director Mamoru Kanbe in the S2 Blu-ray booklet like we had in S1’s or any interview with him finally confirming or disproving it's her.

Also hate how the wiki has fanart by tlieilt_625p in multiple galleries because their style is so ridiculously close to the anime canon’s style that you have people confusing their work with official art on quick glance all the time. (I was guilty of this when I first got into the series, too.)

They've deleted their twitter so I can't link directly to any of these, but even if you have countless people reuploading it without asking for permission or properly sourcing it (I also can't stress enough how much I fucking hate pinterest for this kfjsdk), Google search does corroborate this. Sometimes it's more obvious, but there are some pieces with nigh imperceptible differences.

tl;dr: take the wiki with a grain of salt regarding anything other than character birthdays cited in the mystic code book character profiles, character heights listed in the mystic code book character profiles, the interviews page (per @1000sunnygo in the tags of this post; see also here) and most of the release dates (though as of 17/2/24 pages like chapter 112 are inaccurate).

Uhmm... Did they completely forget Carol?

*Ahh don't read this if you haven't seen the second season of The Promised Neverland*

In the second season I was looking forward to seeing Carol but she was nowhere to be seen...?

To be fair I don't think I saw any 3 ish year olds either other then that single one that a mama was carrying through the door.

I though maybe they went back for the little ones and we'd see her in the scenes of the kids in Japan but I guess not?

Did anyone see her? Did the anime just goofed? If it's because of something in the manga and a potential spoiler pls don't tell me, I just want to know if this was done on purpose or if they completely forgot her existence in the second season of the anime.

When you think about it... (part 3) (SPOILERS!)

(This is just my personal theory) How many times do the victims (aka the women) in tpn get pregnant? And why did they keep documents of who their child was. Do they also keep documents on who the father is? (i personally doubt they would just be giving them a random sperm donor)

Is it possible that if ever the child gets a good score on their daily tests, will they impregnate the mother again? And with the sperm from the same father? So that they will make another intelligent child??? Or will they give the mother a sperm that's from a different but a smarter father to make an even more intelligent child??? IS IT POSSIBLE THAT CAROL IS EMMA’S BIOLOGICAL SISTER OR HALF SISTER?! REMEMBER EMMA GOT GOOD SCORES SOO-

I doubt Ray has a biological sibling even though he has a very skilled mother. I think all women are forced to have a child before they become a mama or a sister. Because there's just NO WAY they will have THAT many kids in each plantation if having a child is one of the requirements to become a mama or a sister. I also think that since there are 4 plantations, there will only be 4 candidates available to become a mama or a sister. And once they achieve to become a mama or a sister, they are safe from being impregnated again.

It was stated that Isabella was the first to have ever become the youngest mama at 20(??). Meaning she only got pregnant once.

Remember when I said that all women are forced to have a kid? Well I can imagine that they will not just get ALL the women impregnated at once but slowly but surely get each or few of the women to have a kid once more and more children get shipped in order to avoid suspicions. or maybe it is possible for intelligent kids like norman, emma and possibly don, phil and gilda to have biological siblings. And i think that if the woman has a 2nd child and that child is also intelligent, they will impregnate the mother again to make ANOTHER INTELLIGENT CHILD!! OMG!

182 Days of TPN - Day 7

Chapter 7: “We’re Counting on You”

How in the world does this woman get any sleep with nine babies nearby? Are ya telling me they sleep soundly each night without any issue because mom never looks tired. On the contrary, she always looks perfect. That lullaby of her must work wonders.

Of course I’m very proud of Emma figuring out that the trackers are located in their ear, but I also love that the moment she starts having any doubts, she’s reminded of what she’s fighting for which is the family is cares for so deeply.

Just once.. I wanted to hear the demon language just one time and neither season in sub or dub could’ve provided it for us! “Him” or “The One” just doesn’t instill as much fear as it should.

I do think it’s funny how so many of us just refer to said demon as “scribbles,” like we got this almighty demon god and it gets a cute little name. It’s wonderful.

there are sometimes who is strange in all the side-information that we have about TPN.

In a interview, the author told that Grandma was the one to choose the names of the babies.

But in a bonus comic, Isabella tells Ray, Emma and Norman how she choose their name.

So either she lied...

Either that's a incoherence.

Either Grandma didn't name the kids who were going to Isabella to let her "daugther" names them as she want.

....either Grandma had given other names to kids who were going to the Grace Field House 3 an Isabella deliberally changed the names in a way to say "f*** you" to her former guardian (since the demons didn't care about the names) and claim the kids as her own. Carol is the only one to not have had a change of name because of Krone presence.

I don't know why but the last idea is hilarous to me ^^"

I default to the bonus comic being the most accurate to simultaneously keep any sisters in HQ from potentially getting attached to the infants by giving them official names and to make the moms more endeared and caring toward the children they named themselves (for reference for anyone who hasn't seen it; a reward for scoring high on the official site's IQ test:)

Unless Shirai meant Sarah named them literally right before handing them off to the moms in the plants, but I don't believe she'd care enough then or at any point after becoming Grandma.

That last one is funny though dlkfjsd

The little petty ways you get back at your mom when you're both victims and perpetrators of a violent system.

But you're right; Shirai's said some conflicting things over the course of the series' run that I think come from being run ragged by a hellish production schedule and a work just naturally evolving as opposed to being antagonistically contrarian to spite fans he views as obnoxious.

The other two that readily come to mind are Shirai saying the series could range anywhere from 10 to 30 volumes long…
