What are your art style inspirations?

For a start, my choice in textures in my art was because of bugsnax. Specifically the journalist art in the game :D The pencil sketchy look brings me joy :D

My art before vs after being obsessed with the game is VERY telling. I would share but I am a little embarrassed of my really old stuff haha My choice in shapes and how I draw anatomy in general comes directly from Zeurel. Though obviously I'm a fan of Monkey Wrench, I've been following the dude for over 10 years now at this point from DeviantArt (from when I used to use that) and youtube.

Honestly its crazy to see how so much has changed with his style, but no matter what phase of his art, his way of drawing characters in a very distinct way has always been my fav. Crazy how Shrike and Beebs used to look like THIS xD. I one day strive to draw facial expressions as fun and goofy as Zeurel. That and one day being as good as an animator, but baby steps are baby steps Some other more recent but honourable ones of note too: ShortLilPen: A lot of their drawings are really beautifully rendered and the ideas they come up with their drawings are so cool. It's something I never really see with fanart, truly putting the art in fanart and its something I'd die for. Captianhowdie: A lot of her older stuff is really cool and has inspired me to be more loose with my art because at the end of the day you don't need to follow strict rules of art to make something cool. Looking at her stuff always makes me more curious to experiment with doing more cool ideas. Also bonus points that she drew my OC once. (Best Christmas gift ty again @konoa-t!!!)

GraveGrime: I found them during last years ArtFight and their art and OCs is everything I strive for. From the really cool line art, shading to character shapes and colours OMG ITS ALL I WANT IN MY ARTTT

Also Diet Stab is the only reason I wanted to start animating and posting my art so I've got to thank her too Anyways have I rambled on enough yet? haha If it ain't obvious, most my inspo is purely based from more cartoony artists and artstyles :D
