zelos. i think she'd be ashamed of how easy it is to pick that but it'd 100% be zelos. kai, as a close second, but the immediate answer, the first impulse, would be to pick zelos.

her eldest brother was her favorite brother. he was the one she was closest to. and after they all died and now that she's grown zelos is still the one she thinks would forgive her and love her despite what she's become. if any of them would understand, it'd be her big brother. and she'd give so much to be able to feel that sense of comfort and security, that this person loves her as she was and as she is and no matter what she may become.

i do think the first thing she'd try to say would be an apology. she feels she dishonors her family with the path she chose but she also craves reassurance from them, reassurance she'd not have another opportunity to have. beyond that, i think she'd just want the longest possible hug and to know her family is well wherever they are and idk answer anything zelos may want to know and tell him about the people she cares for and who looked after her and who she loves. the big stuff doesn't matter; it'd be the little things. how she misses him and the others and doing the most trivial stuff together or how she always thinks of him when doing something he liked doing and how she'd do almost anything to have him and the rest of their family back.

irelia is very emotional. she's guided by emotion more so than logic and i don't think she'd even bother trying to plan what to say, if she had the opportunity. it'd be whatever her heart longed to speak of, so i feel her sorrow and grief and guilt would definitely make themselves manifest, but so would her love and how much she misses her family. and she is just. too attached to them all for it to be a goodbye, really. she'd still not be ready to let go; i don't think she knows how to let go of anyone she lets in her heart tbh. a piece of her will always hold on to them, although she would appreciate the chance to see her brother one last time.
