“So...” Huiyin asked the girl next to her, her arms loaded with bottles of water. She’d been trying to bring some to the girl’s change room. Sometimes girls forgot their bottles, or just ran out (and nobody wanted to touch the water fountains with a ten foot pole). Unfortunately, the bottom of the box she’d brought the bottles in had fallen apart, so now she was trying to just carry them out of the box... to mixed to poor results. “...can you help me out a little bit? I’m pretty sure that I’ll drop half of these before I make it to the locker rooms.”

“That’s not helping,” Vienna grumbled, narrowing her eyes at Nicole. Yes, the situation could be worse but that didn’t mean it wasn’t still bad. Being in a secret relationship was giving her hives and the longer she and Clay kept this up the more her feelings would grow and the angrier her father would be when the truth came out. Like, honestly, it was his one rule. Don’t date any of the guys on his team... what was so hard about that? And Vienna wasn’t even the sister who liked breaking the rules! She didn’t want to stop seeing Clay though, so she was glad she had Nic and her sisters to vent to. Even if they gave her useless pep talks like this one.

“And have someone catch me leaving in the morning?” Vienna asked, raising a brow at Clay. “I don’t think so.” They had a good thing going here and they didn’t need to spoil it by getting lazy. They weren’t supposed to be together. Her father had made it abundantly clear that any players who tried to date his daughters would not have a job the next day. Usually Vienna found it pretty easy to stay away from the players on her father’s team, she hadn’t ever been interested in any of them before. But then Clay had been hired and he’d caught her eye immediately. And, well, Donahue girls always got what they wanted. She leaned over and kissed him once more before standing up and grabbing her shoes. “I’ll see you tomorrow.”
