This fundraiser is organized by Rasha Zaqout for her family. Rasha lives in Canada, and is working to get her family to Canada as well.

Her sister-in-law, Lama, is 35 weeks pregnant and requires a C-section for her baby girl which is extremely unsafe with limited supplies. Raqout is trying to raise funds to evacuate her parents, her brother, her sister-in-law Lama, and her 3 younger sisters.

I have sent $95 USD to this fundraiser. (I was aiming for $100 USD, but did my conversion wrong- I don’t want my bank to freak out about it, so I’m gonna loop back around for at least that last $5 later.)

At time of posting, this fundraiser is at $80,772 CAD out of its $90,000 CAD goal.

I'm the anon who asked you about being trans butch and lesbian, thanks, i have been butch all my life, but being in a conservative family always stopped me how I was, and it's pretty frustrating and painful, but damn, I'm 20 years old, i need some reference i need my identity, no bully, or mean person is gonna stop me with "you are really pretty, be feminine, it's suit you better", can you pass that @ that you mentioned i would love to see other people too.

of course!!! i know its tough repressing who you are, but ur not alone! every queer and trans person makes that decision everyday between being true to ourselves or being safe. i feel your frustration and pain. its not easy being out, but i wish you so much luck and love and am sending you my support!
