🍉 in what ways has writing helped you process trauma and/or navigate through your own life?

i think it's a stretch, but i definitely have been writing a lot of stories revolving around characters who are feeling completely lost and like they have no direction in life. so take that as you will. 😭 also smut tends to come out when i'm feeling particularly touch-starved and/or lonely. let's not unpack that.

🎀 give yourself a compliment about your own writing

i think my dialogue is generally pretty good and feels natural. me saying this definitely has nothing to do with the fact that i'm re-reading a dialogue-heavy scene i wrote a while back and it's still funny even after all this time. and also the fact that i'm currently reading a book in which all the pov characters' inner dialogues read like aliens trying to act like what they think people might sound like.
